RPG Treasure Planet: A New Legacy

[b]OOC:[/b] Okay... I figured it was about time to get this rpg up and running ^_^ -- Those of you who haven't seen Treasure Planet should just be aware that it's a furturistic version of Tresure Island but with robots, lasers, spaceships and other generic [i]stuff[/i] -- if you're not sure, PM me or simply follow my lead ^__^;;

The characters are as follows:

[i]NOTES[/i]
-- Kat's first officer will be a Japanese Ninja Pirate by the, seemingly unimaginative, name of Bob. You can call him Bob, or First Officer Bob... since he appears to actualy have no surname O_o -- He's basically an old dude who likes to tell stories about "the old days"

Looking down at the slip of paper in her hand, Linzi cast a careful eye over the "Legacy". It hung a few feet above the dock, numerous ropes holding it to the ground. Sighing, she adjusted her grip of the bag on her back and stepped up onto the ramp, feeling the sphere-like map pulsating in the pocket of her large jacket.
She wanted adventure... That's why she was here... Her mother hadn't wanted her to go, but the whole idea was to make something out of herself. Besides... her mother didn't ever seem to want her to do anything.
Still frowning, she stepped up onto the deck of the boat, and cast her competetive green-eyed gaze about, wondering if anyone was going to say anything to her.
Then, hearing a sound behind her, she turned sharply, to see a little boy behind her. He only looked to be 12 or so... Blonde hair and blue eyes peered at her.
"Uhh... hi..." Linzi shifted her bag on her shoulder as she wondered exactly what the kid was doing hiding behind her.

[color=blue][b]Katherine:[/b] Everything ready to go, Bob?
[b]Bob:[/b]Almost! We are waiting on a few more crew members and then we will be ready to go, Captain Kat!
[b]Kat:[/b] Tardiness isn't a good quality in people.

[i] Kat's dark brown eyes gazed out into the distance. She was thinking about what her crew would be like and what about this map that was to lead the ship to treasure? The crew scurried about on deck checking the sails and supplies. She sighed and turned to her first mate, Bob. He was giving out orders and making sure the crew obeyed. She noticed a young girl boarding the ship. Walking towards the girl, she recognized her from their earlier meeting. [/i]

[b]Kat:[/b] Elizabeth Hawkins isn't it?

[b]Elizabeth:[/b] Huh?

[b]Kat:[/b] Your name is Elizabeth, right?

[b]Elizabeth:[/b] Um...yeah. You're the captain right?

[b]Kat:[/b] Yes, I am Captain Katherine Lewis at your service! I am known among this ship as Captain Kat. You may call me this but never just call me "Captian" or "Katherine". Do you understand?

[b]Elizabeth:[/b]Yes, I do, Captain Kat!

[b]Kat:[/b] Very good. Now, put your things below deck and report to Forst Mate Bob.

[i]Kat turned to look out into space. Her tail curled around her waist like a belt. It was brown with a black tip to it. She sighed again and waited for the rest of the crew.[/i][/color]

[I]Charlie blushed and saluted.[/I]
"I-it's nice to meet you sir. I'm Charlie Newland, and I'd like to be a part of your crew. I've always wanted to be a pirate, sir."
[I]The man began to say something, but Charlie didn't notice and continued talking.[/I]
"I might look like a normal kid, sir, but I'm not. I'm an android. I don't know all of my capabilities or why I was made, but I will do my best to benefit this ship, sir."
[I]Charlie still stood at attention. The man started laughing.[/I]
"Boy, you talk a mile a minute, don't you? You can put your hand down now."
[I]Charlie blushed and did as he was told. The man shook hands with him.[/I]
"I'm Elizabeth Hawkins, although most people call me Linzi. You'll find the captain on the deck."
[I]Charlie scratched the back of his head, and ran upstairs.[/I]

[Vicky]

OOC: My second name will be...Kerk! (lol! Captain Kerk would sound good.)

IC: Paul looked down at the people come on. He was looking for action in this.
"The legacy is a big thing..." He said. "I wonder who else is here?" He looked around.
"I guess I'll just have to see." He laughed.
"I wish I brought the phathom hurricane, the best sword on the earth..." He own many rare things.
"This is a stroke of luck, if I go on with this."

Quietly, and a little surprised, Linzi watched Charlie rush off up the stairs. "There's such a thing," she murmured, mostly to herself, "As a hyperactive kid... even if he's an android..."
Linzi cast a look at the Captain, who was standing surveying her crew, almost forgetting Linzi as soon as she'd stopped talking, before wandering across the deck in search of "First Mate Bob".
"A-hoy there lil' Missy!"
Blinking in surprise, Linzi turned round, to be presented with a little pirate who was half her height, an eye patch, a peg leg, and a ninja mask. She paused, before saying, still surprised. "Yeah, hi..."
Bob squinted at her. "You're not being the girl who has the... y'know?"
"You mean the m--"
"SHHHH!!! The Cap'n won't have you yeling about it on board..." Bob paused before beckoning Linzi in closer to hear. "There's sneaky folk a'bord this ship, missy. Don't be ta'kin anythin' they say as t' truth. Y'hear?"
Frowning slightly and standing again, Linzi nodded. "Yeah. Sure..."
Bob nodded confidently, before turning as someone called his name. Then he turned back to Linzi with a grin. "We're awaitin' for a few more o' the crew, but jus' you sit tight until they get here. Then the cap'n'll wanna speak with ya about that there thing-i-mee you gots in yer pocket."
Looking highly confused, Linzi nodded again, her hand instinctively reaching into her pocket and ensureing the ball was still there. Then, moving away from Bob, she went to the side of the ship, watching the busy preperations for launch. From here she would have a good vantage point of anyone who chose to come aboard, and being the cynical person she was, that suited her just fine.

OOC: I think i'll wait for my character to come in until Linzi gets sent down to be the... er..... Cabin girl. Hope thats ok.

[I]Linzi stuck her hand in her pocket and pulled out the golden ball. She took out a cloth to "polish" it when she heard a giggle...[/I]

Linzi: Huh? What the!? The Ma...BALL!

Kat: What seems to be the problem Linzi?

Linzi: Um..the map..it's..it's MOVING! ...Captain Kat...

Kat: Hah! You are a very easy one to fool aren't you? C'mon out Meebo.

[I]In an instant the map changed shape into a small floating green blob.[/I]

Kat: This here...is Meebo! Say Hi Meebo!

Meebo: La! Weeee!

Kat: Ya see... Meebo is a morph. Silver the cook. Saved his life. Though... Meebo usually hangs around with me and Captain Kerk. He's a good watchman! Aren't you Meebo?

Meebo: :wigout:Morphing into a little version of Kat:wigout: Good Watchman GOOD WATCHMAN! [/color]

[b]Kat:[/b] You still have what's in your pocket right, Elizabeth?

[b]Linzi:[/b] Please, Ma'am call me Linzi. Yes, I still have it. Itwas in the other pocket.

[b]Kat:[/b]*purring* Good. First Mate Bob! Is everyone here?

[b]Bob:[/b]Yes, Captain Kat! Everyone but maybe one or two people.

[b]Kat:[/b]Yes, well, send them to my chambers below deck!

[i] Kat turned and walked down below deck. Meebo was on her shoulder. She smiled at him and entered the captain's chambers. There was a desk in the back of the room. She sat down in the chair behind the desk and waited for the crew. While she waited, she looked at her maps and wondered if her father ever tried to get to this planet that they were going to jurney to.[/i][/color]

[I]Charlie knocked on the open door. Captain Kat looked up at him as he saluted.[/I]
"You wanted to see me, Captain Kat?"
"Yes, I did. You must be Charlie Newland. Once the rest of the crew gets here, we will start the meeting. What are you staring at?" [I]The captain glared at the boy, angrily.[/I]
"N-nothing captain..."
"You don't have to lie to me. You humans are all the same. Just because I look like a cat, you always..."
"I'm not a human, captain."
[I]Captain looked at Charlie strangely.[/I]
"Of course you're human. Are you feeling all right? I'll excuse you from the meeting if you wish. Or are you crazy? I don't like crazy people aboard my boat."

After a few more minutes, Linzi got below deck and glanced about. The place was dark and depressing, and she wondered who could possibly live in a dungeon like this. "Helloooo?"

"Eh? Who's 'at?"

Linzi blinked at the roughened voice, leaning a little further into the darkness. "Is someone here...?"

Then, with a sudden shriek, she leapt back, as several blades thrust themselves at her. "Wha?!"

"Oops, sorry there," came the voice again with a chuckle. Now she was properly focused in the dim light, she could see Gold, the cook, a little more clearly. His handful of knives rotated round to show a metalic hand which he offered her to shake, and awkwardly she took hold of one of the fingers and shook it. "M'name's Gold," he announced warmly. "Y'must be Linzi, are ya? I've bin hearin' a lot about'cha."

"Y-you have?"

Gold nodded, and first thing I gots ter tell ya is that Bobby was down here before looin' for ya. The Cap'n's havin' a meeting for some o' you more important folk. Go on, off wit'cha."

Nodding, Linzi, her hand gripping the map in her pocket tightly as she went, moved away to the meeting.

[b]OOC:[/b] K.K.C, the only reason I didn't invite Gold to the meeting is that he's a "bad" guy, and Kat will have only wanted to see the "good" people. Maybe he could eavsdrop if you like?

OOC: sorry im late, i was on vacation

IC: Gold watched as she trotted up the steps with her hand in her pocket touching some thing.
"I'll hav ta' keep eh' eye on that little pup." He waited a few moments until he was sure she was gone and then headed up to the deck hoping to get some information from the meeting.
