Anime question about sandrock

ive noticed sandrock has a automatic pistol that it started using around the time it got modified. i was wondering what it was called.

also is sandrock better up close or from a slight distance. its one of the two gundams that has missiles so i figured it would be really good long distance, it also can launch its heat waves from its heat shotel. however up close its pretty fast as well since it has two heat shotels, so it can attack consecutively unlike the other gundams.

Sandrock's Pistol always reminded me of an uzzie, or however you spell it, but it really has no name of it's own. To answer the next question it is much better at close and slight. Take this into account, he marches into battle with his Maguanac Corps. and fires his machine gun and his two missiles, by the way he only has two unlike the other Gundam Heavyarms, and then he rushes forward with his shotels blazing and takes a few Leos, or Virgos depending on the battle scene, but notice that he always being his by hundreds of shells from the others. This is due to the fact that it is heavily armored, the most armored according to stats, and quite slow due to it. Quatre is only able to survive his battles with his armor since he is the weakest of the Gundam Pilots and he is a Gundam Pilot so he can bring out the Gundam's full potential. Plus, please, do not forget the other two Gundams that primarily specialize in close range combat, Gundam Deathscythe and the Shenlong, Altron, and Nataku Gundams. Hope it proves informative.
