I don't see why anyone's opinions of a person should change based on sexuality. You should be proud that you can tell everyone the truth. If you havn't already told everyone you know in real life, I wish you good luck with that. ^_^

They took it really badly, but its ok. I mean I would move out and leave the house but I can't only 15 so I'm kinda stuck here. It doesn't really matter though.

That's too bad your own family took it badly. What is wrong with people?I hate that more than anything. You should just accept someone. What is with peopel and accepting differences.Once again, something I like about otaku.ALOT.

I'm so proud of you!!!!

It takes so much courage to come out and be honest like that.

You have stated your indiviuality and that's great. Even though your gay, that has no affect on my opinion about you.

I think your thread was orginal and noble. Thanks for telling my about your situation, but that has no affect on my opinion. To my understanding you are a brave, kind, and courageous person.

Good Luck in Life, and stay strong......

Then move in with me, silly brother! Hehe.

They'll learn to accept it eventually. Not necessarily like it, but they'll accept it. From what I know about them, at least they're not going to be sending you to a shrink to try to "cure" you or anything..

Anyway, I'm proud of ya; and you're definitely alot more brave than I am. v.v; I'm still trying to figure out how to tell my parents... last time I even hinted it to my dad, he denied it and gave me the "you're only confused, and it'll go away eventually," speech.

Kick their ***.

Wait, that wouldnt help.

Well, good job on being who you want to be and who you think you are- thats more than alot of people can say about anything in their lives. Just remember that if people cant accept you for who you are, then they most likely are just a waste of your time and most other peoples time.

My parents don't seem to mind that i'm gay, even though they are very Catholic. No one in my family really came out, except by bringing guys over or living with some, or going out with some... I have an older bro who is gay. And he would bring his boyfriend(s) over over the years. And we would have dinner with them, such as Thanksgiving or Christmas or birthdays!
My parents are cool! And I have a lot of "straight" friends that have a lot of gay friends. But people are really open-minded out here where i live.

I'm coming out, I want the world to know... got to let it show.

It is pretty stupid. You are correct.

Either way, guess the news doesn't really affect me in any way in a personal sense... but it's always good when someone realizes that they need to be true to themselves.

All I know is that I'll never be making one of these threads... so if I'm on someone's "He might be gay" list, cross me out. :D

w00t. You are you, and that's awesome! ^_^ I wanted to say that before I said congrats or soemthing, because it's important to not hide your sextual preference. You are what you are, and it's wonderful that you can accept your self. And you're still the same person to me (And I'll still foverever be calling you DuoGodofDeath. BUWAHAHAHA. ;P).

I'm glad that you know who you are now, and hopefully your parents will get over it.

I'm really glad that you feel like we're family and can talk to us about things like this. ^^

Sephiroth-

Yeah see the whole thing was that I said I was Bi, and well that really wasn't true I was/am.will be gay just didn't wanna say it ya know? Didn't wanna acknowledge it. So I figured that I should tell ya'all the truth, so thats why I made this thread, but evidently everyone already knew I was gay.

Wow do I have like Gay Vibrations or something?

And yes Shy is gay. Hot and gay I might add.

Sorry....

But hey guys thanks a lot. Every single on of these responses (pertaining to the topic at hand of coures ;)) ment a lot to me. I can't describe what you guys mean to me!

'Grats on "coming out". i know a few gay guys, and they're really nice. shame about the way your folks taking it harder-than-entirely-necessary, but they'll live. Making this step (i assume this is how it is) is seemingly small, but very important. also you can practice your speech on here ;). well once again congrats, and i better go because it is almost the end of period. and i am stuck in school....... :(

Well Bry, the trip might be delayed, but look at it this way. Now when I come, I'll actually have money, and that means more stuff to do! LOL. But yeah. It'll be fun, and I think I'm comming alone since my friends like to back out on me *growls*

Yeah, I just don't make a big deal about it. I'm gay, but that sort of stuff is only a small part in my life. It's not like I spend all of my time posting about sex or something.

*insert random confused smiley*

Congratulations on coming out. I thought i was gay, so i told a lot of people. Then i realised i wasn't gay and i had to tell everyone that i was straight. but now i don't know what i am... But the best part about it is that i get lots of parties: a coming out party, and then a coming back in party, then a coming out party..... etc.. lol
Any way I'm so proud of ya for coming out
