RPG Eternal Darkness

[Boo]

[I]The night has fallen. The only thing that spreads a little light are the fires which Darkness caused. Its silend... Almost too silend...
Then an explosion! And another one! Two mechs are holding a battle for life and death. One of them pulls out a blade and slashes at the other. The one currently defending, has a hard time to keep in balance. The attacking one pulls back his sword and swings again, letting the other fall on the ground. He gets his buster rifles and shoots at it like he cant hold himself. A last explosion and the other Mech was gone, leaving the victorious.[/I]

'That's another one. At this rate I'll have them all finished in no time at all.'

[I]He leaves the black spot on the ground and shoots off, back to base.[/I]

'Hey! back already?'

[I]Ofcourse, the first one running into him was the radio man. For some reason, Aerow doesnt like this chub. He gets him at his nerves. Aerow stops walking and looks at him.[/I]

'Why? It didnt take long enough?'

[I]With that, Aerow walked off, through the pneumatic door, to "the square". from tehre on he headed left towards the barracks.[/I]

[I]'Damn. I need to get my Mech repaired aswell. That guys rocket launcher almost got through my armor... I have to start watching out more, or i wont even get to see Glasgow.'[/I]

[Raiha]

[COLOR=royalblue][i]Neuvox Megelani was at it again. He could smell her delicate perfume from the doors. And there she was, lying down on her bed, barefoot, but still wearing those infamous baggy pants. Glasses on, reading a thick text book entitled: "Gray's Anatomy." Aerow walked up to her and tapped her shoulder. She looked up at him, removing her glasses at the same time. Then she rewareded him with a glittering smile.[/i]

Trance: May I help you?

Aerow: Yeah....my mech needs repair....so I'll need your hands too.

Trance: Playing soldier again?

Aerow: Not funny Doctor.

Trance: What?

[i]He rolled her eyes. She grinned and rolled out of her bunk. Feet were slammed into her boots and she grabbed her clipboard and favorite wrench.[/i]

Trance: One of these days....I'm gonna learn to say no to you.

Aerow: But until then....

Trance: Oh yes dear. I just slave away for you, and everyone else in this damned complex.

[i]The two walked into the hanger, and she looked at the thrashed Mech with a critical eye.[/i]

Trance: Mobile Aurmor Suit-C. Needs a lot of work. What the hell did you do?

[i]He grinned sheepishly, and she tacked a sheet of blueprint paper to her clipboard. Then she removed her pencil/dart and began sketching another design for the sides.[/i][/COLOR]

as the good doctor drew here design another mech landed in the hanger. the hatch opened at a white haired figure stepped out. he walked over the were Trance and Aerow were standing.

Aerow: Aorashi, good to see you made it back too. hey, how'd you manage to keep your mech in nice condition?

the white haired man smiled then answered

Aorashi: i keep myself hidden until i attack. i don't pop out and open fire.

Aerow: hey, the thing just appeared out of no where.

Aorashi: ok, what ever you say. but this way i stay on the good doctors good side. were as it seems you give her a migrain everytime you come in.

Aerow: hey, its not my fault those things are good shots.

Aorashi smiled and walk to his quarters.

Aorashi: i'm gonna catch a few winks before i have to go out again. you might want to do the same.

[Raiha]

[COLOR=royalblue][i]Neuvox cupped her hands around her mouth and shouted after the departing man.[/i]

Trance: Bring me a COFFEE and two ASPRIN!!

Aerow: Aww I'm not that bad am I?

Aorashi: No problem!

Trance: THANKS! No you aren't Aerow dear...I'm afraid it's that time of month.

Aerow: Huh.....oh. Right. Sure.

[i]He edged away from her slowly and she smacked his rear with her wrench. Then she leapt onto the Mech's side, toolkit in hand. Pulling out her various weap-er- tools, she set to work removing the torched siding.[/i]

Trance: You really need to work on your attack style.

Aerow: What if I don't?

Trance: I will put a potion in your drink that'll make you spend the rest of your life in the bathroom.

[i]Ignoring his terrified reaction, she smiled and continued tearing off the burned out hull sections. They were tossed to one side and she continued working.

And time went by...

The coffee was drained, the asprin swallowed, and the mech in good working order. It was buffed, refueled, and looking very good. Dr. Trance sat back, satisfied with her work.[/i]

Aorashi: Complicated.

Trance: Only to the simple minded.... That's a good finish. It'll be happy for another day or two. That is- until you smash the poor dear up agian.

Aerow: Eheh. I'll work on it.

[i]She yawned and headed back to her bunk. Before they could bother her with another question, she was fast asleep, boots on the floor, pants alongside.[/i][/COLOR]

[Syn]

[I]Kazuma sat inside his mech, yawning and sipping coffee out of a flask. Once again it was quiet around his sector and he was stuck on sentry duty. It was 12:45am and his shift had finished, he headed back and clocked off. On his way back to the barracks he saw Aerow heading his way.[/I]

Aerow: Hey, heard they stuck you out on guard duty again.

Kazuma: Yeah, I dont see why, everytime im out nothing happens, you run into any trouble?

Aerow: Yeah, took another couple out on my way back, got beat up pretty bad though.

Kazuma: Bet Trance was pleased.

Aerow: yeah

[i]the two headed back to the barracks.[/i]

Aorashi saw Aerow and Kazuma as he was heading to the mech bay.

Aorashi: hey Kazuma, have any luck out there?

Kazuma: no, i never see anything out there. its like they don't like me, or something.

Aorashi: well, don't take that the wrong way. atleast you don't have to wory about Trance on your back about coming with a beat up mech.(looks at Aerow)

Aerow: haha, anyways where you off to?

Aorashi: i got the next watch. they put me on after Kazuma now. i don't get it. one minute i'm doing patrols, the next i'm a guard.

Kazuma: have fu out there, bring something to do though.

Aorashi: brought my book.

they three laugh and Aorashi walks on to the bay. he gets in his cockpit and does final checks. he closes the hatch and heads out. he positions his mech on a building opposet where he was suppost to be.

Aorashi: if they think i'm standing in the open there crazy. i'm not a shield.

as Aorashi sits it begins to rain. his mech waits in the rainy night alone. the white haired pilot sits back and starts on his book, but as he does his radar picks something up. Aorashi sits up and watches. he scans his camera for anything moving. he spots a red glow in the distance.

Aorashi: looks like a mech eye. if it is, i gotta get rid of it. its way to close to base.

Aorashi puts his mech on the ground quietly, and moves siliently to the glow. he gets within 20 feet of the glow before he hides again. he climbs atop a building and gets even closer to the mech. when he gets within eye view he sees not one but three mechs. he pulls his sabers out slowly and turns them around. he inches to the edge to get alittle more room. his mechs foot brakes off a piece of the building and the eyes turn to him. Aorashi turns his sabers on, leaps on to two of the mechs, and drives his sabers into the heads. he burst off and the two explode. Aorashi takes this time to pull out his buster pistols. when the smoke cleared he opened fire. he hit nothing, he turned to see the red eye of the mech infront of him. he pulled the triger and put two rounds into the enemy mech. he dropped one of his guns and pulled his saber. he turned and did a spining slash which cut the bot in half. the thing exploded and Aorashi sat back and breathed.

Aorashi: good lord, and Kazuma said there was nothing out here. glad luck was on my side. that last one could of had me.

Aorashi retuned to the base were he gave his report and went to the barreks himself.

Aorashi: this things are getting smarter, we can't keep doing this. they'll eventualy find us.

[Raiha]

[COLOR=royalblue]Aorashi: WAKE UP DOCTOR!

[i]True to her nature, Dr. Trance fell completely out of her bunk and onto the floor. Hair sticking up, pants on backwards...A vein popped on her forehead and she gave him the evil eye.[/i]

Trance: This had better be good.

Aorashi: They're getting smarter.

Trance: Oh. The mechs are getting smarter. That's a good reason to SCARE ME OUT OF MY MIND!

[i]He winced and she got into her boots and pants bad temperedly. Then she snatched her head rag and pencil, glasses and clipboard, and batted him on the side of the head.[/i]

Trance: You didn't thrash your mech. Please say you didn't thrash your mech.

Aorashi: I didn't thash my mech. But we need a better strategy for fighting them.

Trance: Try the Bio gel packs. I've been aching to get them out of stasis, but they keep telling me to wait.[/COLOR]

Aorashi: what are those?

Trance: come with me i'll show you.

Aorashi: well whatever it is, it better be able to keep those things away from this place. its not the pilots i'm worried about, its all the other people taking shelter here.

Trance: you would think the big boys leading this thing would find some place to move them to.

Aorashi: well in there diffence there aren't that many places to put them safer then this. although as of latley that can be debated.

Trance: what i want to know is how Kazuma didn't pick those things up?

Aorashi: well i had been out there awhile before i saw them, but they did look like they had been there for awhile. it almost seemed like they were camping that spot. they didn't seem to be very well armed either.

Trance: that dosen't sound like them. half the time they carry stuff that leaves bigger holes in the pilots then the mechs. belive me i've seen it.

Aorashi: yeah, thats why it troubled me so. i have a bad feeling they knew i was there the whole time, and sent a signal to make me find them.

Trance: why would they do that...unless they wanted to use you to find the way here.

Aorashi: i thought of that too, so i back tracked and went the longest way i could to throw whoever off my trail. i'm just glad my mech is not easily seen at night.

Trance: well, even if you did throw them off. the next guy to go out there might not do the same. k, here we are. this is a bio gel pack.

[Raiha]

[COLOR=royalblue][i]She held up what looked like a big blue ice pack. Both moved slightly at her touch and she could feel it's conciousness pulsing against her body. She pushed the thoughts down and stuffed both into his shirt. Then she grabbed her clipboard and sketched a quick design. Then she closed the stasis doors. She turned to him and smiled.[/i]

Trance: Don't worry, I'll get them up and installed within a few days.

Aorashi: DAYS?!?!?

Trance: Yes dear. DAYS! I'm not going to stay up all hours unless you can give me an IV of straight up caffine.

[i]He grinned at her and the two walked to the hanger. She opened the mech and started the long process of fusing the nerual net together.[/i]

Trance: Oo...this is going to be fun.

Aorashi: If you can do this, I will love you forever.

Trance: You can buy me dinner for a month and we'll call it even.[/COLOR]

[Syn]

[i] Kazuma lay in bed asleep. He was having the same dream nearly every night now. The flashbacks of that terrible night 15 years ago. He quickly awoke, startled and drowned in a cold sweat. Hi got up and slid into his pants and boots.[/i]

Kazuma: ugh....I need to clear my head....

[i] He set off walking aimlessly down the corridors until he decided to go do some routine checks on his suit before his patrol he had in the morning. He was surprised to see Trance and Aorashi already there.[/i]

Kazuma: Eventful night ?

Aorashi: Yes actually, ran into 3 mechs, obviously [i]I[/i] took care of them but they're getting smarter.

Kazuma: pfft, so? Its not like we cant handle them.

Aorashi: Yeah but if they get smarter and keep getting smarter, eventually we wont be able to handle them.

Kazuma: Hmm.....

Trance: Hey......HEY! Pass me that wrench...

Kazuma: Here..what are you doing up then?

Trance: Installing this bio gel pack.

Kazuma: Right....

Trance: You ?

Kazuma: Pfft, couldnt sleep, thought i'd do a quick check on my suit then go back to bed.

[Raiha]

[COLOR=royalblue][i]Trance yawned, then shook her head and continued bolting down the side pannels. Then she gave it a swift kick, pushed the right button, and the whole thing came to life.[/i]

Trance: There! They'll react to your thought now...not your control.

Aorashi: ...did you do something to it?

Trance: It's all what me and my dad had typed out. We'll just call yours the prototype.

[i]She grinned at his horrified expression and jumped out of the mech's head. Then she grabbed her things and marched to the barracks.[/i]

Trance: Be careful when you test it. I'd advise you not to push any of the weird buttons until you've got a clear head....it could self implode.

Aorashi/Kazuma: WHAT?!?!?

Trance: Just kidding.[/COLOR]

Aorashi: great, if the mech weren't bad enough. now i have to worry about blowing myself up.

Kazuma: i'm sure the doc wouldn't do anything to put you in harms way.

Aorashi: yeah, hey why don't i come with you on your patrol. give me a chance to test this thing out.

Kazuma: why not, atleast i'll have someone to tlak instaed of myself.

Kazuma and Aorashi went over the mechs before they had to go.

Aorashi: man, she did a number on this thing. no controls of any kind. guess when she said my thoughts she meant it.

the two took there suits out for the morning patrol, and Aorashi found the big differance of whta Trance had done.

Aorashi: man, this thing runs so much smoother now. its like i'm walking myself. my reaction time seems to have been cut in half. this is great.

Kazuma: glad your having fun, looks like another normal patrol.

[Raiha]

[COLOR=royalblue][i]She smiled and leaned back in her bed. Hopefully, there would be no more interruptions. It had been a long time since her last full night's sleep. Soon, she was in another world, dreaming quietly......full of the calmness that came with natural rest, unfettered by everyday thought.[/i]

Trance: .....ech....

Aerow: Good morning.

Trance: How long have I been out?

Aerow: A day and a half.

Trance: Damn. I'm up.

[i]She rolled out of bed and looked at her To-Do list. She whimpered and grabbed the rest of the bio gel packs. Hell.[/i]

Aerow: Hook mine up next.

Trance: Do I have to?

Aerow: Yes.

Trance: Ugh. Go get me food and I'll see what I can do for you.[/COLOR]

Aorashi saw the half awake doctor waling into the mech bay.

Aorashi: well good morning sleeping beauty. did you get enough rest?

Trance: yes i did thank you, and i think it was well diserved.

Aorashi: ok, i'll give ya that. hey hose gel things work great. my mech has never run so smooth, and my reaction time is cut in half. i took out a mech yesturday and it felt like i wasn't even trying. it didn't even get off a shot.

Trance: good, glad you didn't blow yourself up. tried any of the butons yet?

Aorashi: no, i'm to scared to. i'll wait for someone else to explode first.

Trance gave him a half cocked smile then went on to work. Aorashi walked himself to the mess hall where he ran into Aerow.

Aorashi: got enough food there?

Aerow: some of its for the doc. shes hooking my gel pack up next.

Aorashi: i see, paying in food. thats about what i did. think shes getting the better deal out of this in the long run.

Aerow: could be, later Aorashi.

the two split and Aorashi sat down to eat himself. the bio gel packs really put a work out on your body.

[Raiha]

[COLOR=royalblue][i]With all the skill of a born mechanic, she plugged and soldered and hooked up the last of the bio gel packs. She plugged in a few stray wires, smiled, and dusted the char from her body.

Then she stood up and leapt down to the hanger floor. Her toolkit slid into it's resting place and she preened. Aerow gave her a look that could've been pure love. But on the other hand, it could've also been simply greed. She gave him a smirk in return and tucked her headrag into her back pocket. Then she fingered her pencil gingerly and waited.[/i]

Aerow: Thanks.

Trance: ...you're welcome. Crash it and I swear you will walk funny for the rest of your life.

Aerow: Meep.

[i]She grinned and walked back into the cafeteria, calling the cook for some coffee.[/i][/COLOR]

Aorashi noticed the good doctor walking into the cafeteria. she got her coffee from the cook and drank it where she stood. it was clear putting those bio things in was hrad work. everyone here worked hard not just the pilots. from the doc and the cook, to the care takers of the civilians taking shelter in the base. Aorashi sat there with his tray empty and just thought. he thought about what they were doing and why. why someone would do what the drakness was doing. he guessed that something like the drakness wouldn't have morals. about that time Trance noticed Aorashi staring into nothing and snuck up from behind him. she put her hot cup of coffee next to his check. he jumped and saw her behind him.

Aorashi: that wasn't very nice. so, hows the bio packs coming?

Trance: done thank God. those things take to much to put in.

Aorashi: but they save our butts out there in combat. i just wish we could be on the attack for once.

Trance: we all do, but until we get enough info on them we can't do crap.

Aorashi: i guess so. well i'm off to bed. ny next shifts in five hours so i need to be rested. night doc.

Aorashi waved to the doctor and walked off. he still was thinking about what they were doing. he couldn't help thinking if they were just delaying fate longer.

[Raiha]

[COLOR=royalblue][i]Trance rolled her eyes and headed to the smaller clinic where she served as the head doctor for a group of civillians. Most of them were scared, wide eyed, innocent, and pure. And she enjoyed working the most with the children. They were sweet, well tempered, and didn't throw too many temper tantrums. Of course...some pilots were worse.

She donned her lab coat, for modesty's sake around innocent mothers, and opened the doors. She was greeted by the pitiful sobs of a little girl she knew to be Rena. The small female held up a bleeding arm and cried for comfort.[/i]

Trance: Oh dear...what's all this?

Rena: I cut my arm! I was playing and I fell...it hurts.

Trance: Of course, but I can make it feel better dear, come...sit down.

Rena: Will it hurt?

Trance: Only a little.

[i]She smiled, and opened the cabinet. With expert moves, she swabbed the wound with alcohol strips and gave her a tetnus shot. Just to be on the safe side. Rena howled, but generally complied. Then she bandaged it delicately and handed the child a lollipop.[/i]

Rena: Oo!

Trance: There you are. Stay out of trouble...and keep it clean.

[i]She bounced out of the clinic, smiling and sucking on her treat. Trance folded her arms and smiled. Meanwhile, the men upstairs watched her. They noted her compassion, her intuitiveness....but most of all, they listened to what she said.[/i][/COLOR]

[Domon]

[COLOR=darkblue][i]The sun was shining down brightly upon a forest, a forest that was holding a secret within it. A large mech was kneeling with a large menacing rifle at the ready as if waiting for the forest to answer its bluff to make a move. Inside the cockpit a young boy sat looking at some monitors and tinkering with what appears to be the sensors. Just then an alarm blares in his ear he falls over practically from the sudden jolt from his automatic responses to some of the mech's actions. The screen brings up an enemy mech on patrol.[/i]

"Just my lucky day" [i]Sean sniggers as he activates the mech. As it rises from the forest Sean brings up the targeting array and locks onto the enemy mech and fires off a shot, it connects directly to the enemy mech's leg. It stumbles but manages to stand and fire off a few rounds which connect with Nu Gundam's chest and shoulder. Sean is joslted as the right shoulder cover is blasted off.[/i]

"Okay jerk! You're really ticking me off!" [i]With that Sean unsheathed a beam sword from Nu Gundam's left arm and charged the enemy mech and cleanly sliced off the legs, kicked off the mech and fired off another round destroying the mech.

After the 12 hour patrol Sean piloted the Nu Gundam into the hangar and stepped out. He looked at a few of the mechanical repairmen.[/i]

"It could use some repairs on the upper right arm and the chest plates." [i]He said as he casually walked off down the hall towards his quarters. Along the way he accidentally bumped into someone whom he recognized as Aorashi.[/i][/COLOR]

[Raiha]

[color=royalblue][i]Duties finished for the day, she shed her lab coat and headed for the barracks, drained, but happy. One of the little children had given her a rock candy stick and another had given her a picture of....her. She smiled and tacked the drawing onto her bed frame. Aorashi and Sean walked in just in time to see her jump onto her bed and start licking her candy like any little girl.[/i]

Sean: Sharing is caring Dr. Trance.

Trance: I'm a doctor not a teacher. Save it for the cafeteria ladies.

Aorashi: Oo, heart of stone.

Trance: Whatever. I'll have you know I had to give six innoculations, twelve bandages, and sixteen lollipops out, in addition... I had to install a bio gel pack, from which I am not yet recovered. So...I think I am entitled to act accordingly to your description of the heart of stone. In two words: Piss off.

Sean: Ouch.

[i]Her smile could've withered the freshest flower. The two, deflated and devoid of any hope of getting rock candy, went to their perspective bunks and didn't ask again.[/i]

Sean: Did you say bio gel pack?

Trance: *sigh* I'll be instaling yours first thing in the morning....[/color]

[Domon]

[COLOR=darkblue][i]Gel pack, what the heck was a gel pack. Maybe it was some really cool upgrade that would boost Nu Gundam to a new level or just a new toy to play with, whichever it was Sean chuckled with glee mentally. This would be something to see. His toy or the Nu Gundam would get an upgrade which meant playtime or test runs which meant no sleep. Sean then groaned mentally, he wanted to sleep dammit! He had just come off a 12 hour patrol and he wanted some sleep! Sean bashed himself around mentally as he then came to the conclusion that he wouldn't have to worry about it and then his mind was comforted and he fell into a nice calming sleep.

The next day Sean awoke in a sweat,he'd had a nightmare about coming home and seeing his home in ruins and being at the funeral of his parents. He then looked down and saw that he had twisted himself in himself into his covers like a straightjacket. After some coaxing Sean managed to climb out of his blankets and changed into some different clothes and headed for the cafeteria, as he walked down the metal corridorr his boots clanked loudly against the floor and his dog tags clinked together as well. God this was annoying with all the metallic sounds. The doors to the cafeteria slid open with a WHOOSH and Sean stepped through and picked up a tray and took a spot in line and got his breakfast, which he devoured in a few minutes. After eating Sean headed for the hangar just too see what the good doctor was up too with this gel pack.[/i][/COLOR]

as Sean rounded the corner to the hanger he saw the good doctor hard at work on his mech. he also saw Aorashi just coming in form night patrol. the white haired pilot jumped from his cockpit and saw Sean.

Aorashi: hey, how was the rest?

Sean: good, and well needed.

Trance: well, i'm almost doen with this thing. i'm begining to think Aorashi is the only one who comes in with out half his mech.

Aorashi: thats only because of my patrol times, and with how i fight. i don't let them keep me in there sights for to long.

Sean: hey, that was out of my control. i hit the blasted thing and it didn't fall.

Trance: whatever you did, don't do it again. the gel packs should help you from making my life harder.

Aorashi: your gonna love the gel pack system. my reaction time has been cut in half, and it runs like a dream.

Trance: i know, i designed them.

the doc finished Sean's mech and headed for the cafeteria. Sean hoped in his suit and checked it out.

Aorashi: oh, like we have been told. don't push any buttons tell you get a feel for the thing. we don't want you blowing up out there do we.

Sean: oh thats good to know. oh well, patrol here i come.

Sean left the hanger and Aorashi stayed in the hanger to give his controld a looking at. then it would be off to the rech room. he needed to do more than eat, sleep, and patrol. he was going to were his body down if he didn't stay in shape.

[Raiha]

[COLOR=royalblue][i]She sighed with resignation and allowed herself to eat the usual salad before indulging herself in a half a pint of strawberry and rasberry sorbet. She walked out, still eating...to the rech room.....just knowing that something would go wrong.

Aorashi waved in greeting, which was amazing, considering what he was benchpressing. She waved with her spoon and leaned against the racks casually. Her premonitions were right. Ten seconds later, one of the men tore a ligament.[/i]

Aorashi: You're amazing.

Trance: ....I think it's time for me to retire.[/COLOR]

[Syn]

Kazuma decided to take a break from tuning up his suit and went off to get something to eat from the mess hall. He baught a sandwich and took a seat at an empty table, he pulled out an ammunitions mag and started to read. He eventually got bored of looking at things he couldnt afford and got up from the table.

Kazuma: Im so bored....nothing ever happens any more.

With nothing at all interesting to do, he decided to take a walk around the complex and see if he could find someone he knew.

[Domon]

[COLOR=darkblue][i]Sean sat within the cockpit of his suit, it seemed normal to him. Nothing new, well. The systems had booted up faster and Nu Gundam did seem to be moving faster but that was about it. He then realized, he wouldn't find out how well this gel pack had upgraded the systems until he entered into combat.

As soon as he left the base's protected zone Sean brought the Nu Gundam's rifle up to the ready and also brought his H.U.D. and had it display the other mechs on the millitary's side. He took up a position near a small creek and just sat back and relaxed, usually when he was out on patrol it was either twighlight or the dead of night. Being out in the daytime was too much for him. It made his suit more of a target because of the color scheme. Sean had wrestled with himself about changing the blasted colors to camouflauge but he resisted the urge do to the fact that camo colors didn't suit Nu Gundam very well, the black and white colors did though. And plus, he liked attracting attention.

As he was off in his own little bubble again Sean didn't notice the enemy mech closing in. It had a long sinister gun and a large sword to make this appear to be even worse looking. Sean only then noticed it when the mech fired off a shot that went past Nu Gundam's left arm and blew up a large rock face. He looked at his view screen and then realized that this was going to be a problem. He brought the beam rifle up locked on and fired a concentrated shot off that connected with the mech's arm joint. The lower right arm fell off but the mech stil tromped towards him. Sean brought the scopes up again and fired off another shot, this time for the torso of the mech. It connected but the thing was still walking and this time it fired a shot straight for Sean. He dodged out of the way and it was right then when the shot hit nothing but air and he and the gundam landed without a scratch on them did Sean realize that these gel packs were great! He snickered and said to no one in particular.[/i]

"I love this new toy!" [i]He said as he holstered his beam rifle and drew out his larger beam saber from his jet pack. A larger blade shot out from the handle and a smaller one followed on the bottom. The enemy mech then drew its weapon and they both charged each other unfortunately Sean didn't expect the enemy mech to respond so well to hand-to-hand combat and had charged in with a horizontal swipe which in turn was blocked with a downward vertical swipe. And as he fired his jets back in reverse Sean switched hands for the larger saber and then drew out the smaller sword and shot forwards again and this time the enemy mech responded in the same way by blocking the larger one but ignoring the smaller sword which was then driven right into the mech's already damaged torso. The mech fell with a reassuring thud to the ground but Sean didn't trust these mechs. He sheated both his swords again and un-holstered his beam rifle and fired off a shot right into the mech which resulted in it's explosion, which didn't seem to phase the gundam at all. Sean sat in the cockpit thinking. "This is going to be a fun patrol." And with that he moved off to patrol another area.[/i][/COLOR]
