OOC: Blanko, I'll have you know I've been waiting to see where your characters went. And I can't post until I get enough info, ok? And I've been busy for the last few days, so excuse me if I haven't had time.

-----------

Luna looked over at Darvyn after recieving the news. It had been an hour that had passed. Darvyn had a hard time explaining everything, but had finally gotten through to her.

"So....me and you are one of these warriors?" she asked, tilting her head.

"Yes, me and you are to find the others and together lead the battle. It won't be easy, but after the fact, Madiena will have a brighter future."

[deeppink]"So, when do we leave?"

"As soon as we can. We still have to locate the first warriors: The Three Elemental Sisters. We have locater Angel's locating them right now; we should be able to take it from there."

Luna smiled and jumped up, as always.. She ran out the door to tell her friends the news. After the announcment, the group squeeled and shouted.

Darvyn smacked his forehead. This is exactly what he needed.

OOC:You're meeting us right Logan?

Hydraia snapped her head up suddenly.
Gaea:What's wrong Hydraia?
Hydraia:I-I-It's nothing.Just Lightning hit a puddle of water and up a tree and I'm connected to water so it gave me a shock.Don't worry.I'm fine.Anyways what are we going to do?!We have to destroy whoever's destroying our forest!!
Gaea:Shhhh...Someone has entered the forest and is heading towards us.Gaea was in a type of trance.
Brushfire:Is it good or bad?
Gaea:They can't tell.It's male.
Hydraia:Should I open the waterfall for him?

Everyone was silent listening for anything.Gaea snapped out of her trance and looked up.Hydraia closed her eyes and went into her own trance.She could see the man coming.She was looking through water like a portal.Wherever there's water Hydraia could use it as a portal.He had wings.Hydraia snapped out of her own trance and looked at her sisters.

Hydraia:He has wings....

Hydraia saw a shape coming towards them and she hesitantly opened the waterfall.It revealed a man.Or an angel.

Brushfire:Stop!Who are you?!State your reason for being here.But beware we are the Three Elemental Sisters and if you lie we shall destroy you!To make a point she created a small fireball in her palm and juggled it around.

Hallucin felt a slight stirring of the breeze. She paused and drew out her blade, turning as she did. Then it was gone. She sighed and brought her slingblade to the light. It glistened, and she dipped it down into her hand. As usual, she felt the slight tingle that came before laburnum poisoning, but no more. It was gone....and she mentally praised herself for growing immune to it.

She padded out the door, and turned her feet in the direction of her former employer. If he was going to resist her, he had better start trying now. She moved lightly, feet barely touching the ground. Then she paused. The breath of air was surrounding her again.

Ghost or Incubus, she had no way of knowing....but its presence chilled her mind....

Calm down sister. Gaea said as she owered her sisters hand with the fireball ever do slowly dimming out.
I'm sorry sir for my sister's temper but she is the most hot-headed of us three, literally.
Gaea smiled as Brushfire grimaced a but behind her siters back. The stranger stood a distance away from the three sisters and didn't yet talk. Hydraia realising the strangers uneasieness tried to coax him into talking.

Can you please tell us why you are here. We have nothing of any value and we are just keepers of this forest. So please tell us your business.

I guess he's mute-

Brushfire hush-

Yeas that is very rude and besides we do not wish to frighten the poor man....angel whatever he is...

Well when he is ready to talk come and get me.

Brushfire headed to the back of Hydraia's house. The other's stayed up front while they stared at this creature. Not sure of what he was the just stood in awe of his being. Hoping that very soon he would speak.....

Katrina followed the strange watchman obediently through the moors and back to the small town. She was dazzled to see that a crowd that seemed like half of the town's population was gathered to the central square. She heard the people muttering and groaning.
"That's the thief!" "We're lucky to have HIM around!" "That filthy girl stole a perfectly good bottle of wine from my inn!" "Off with her head!"

As the watchman escorted in the middle of the square, Katrina felt more and more nervous. Was that crowd going to lynch her for stealing few apples, a bottle of disgusting redwine and two loaves of dry bread?!

Then the watchman raised his hand, and silence fell among the people.

Watchman: "Good folk of Thismoor! I bring in front of you the woman who stole your property."
Crowd: "Hoorray!!!"
Watchman: "BUT!"

The crowd fell silent again, but Katrina could see the bloodlust in their eyes.

Watchman: "But you must realize that this girl was stealing for her hunger, as she obviously is a refugee from the land that the Sorcerer has taken over."
Woman: "She should've asked!"
Watchman: "Yes, I agree, Mrs Baker, but this girl - wherever she comes from - comes from a different country than you, thus she doesn't know about the famous hospitality of the town of Thismoor."

Katrina sniffed. If execcuting for stealing an apple is considered hospitality...

Watchman: "I have considered this case, and with the authority invested in me, I declare a two month and twenty-two day trial for this woman, who apparently goes by the name of Cat. If she should commit any crime during this period of time, I will personally hand her over to you. But if she works for me obediently-"

The man turned to look at Katrina with his darkblue eyes.

Watchman: "- she will be free to leave this town. She will repay you the items you have lost by working to me, so I don't want anybody to even cut a hair out of her head. Is this clear?"

The crowd mumbled a reluctant agreement.

Watchman: "Good! The show is now over, so go back to your work!"

Then the watchman turned his horse to leave the square, pulling Katrina's horse with him. Katrina investigated the man properly for the first time. He was middle-aged, and his greying hair was cut short. Few scars crossed his angular face, so Katrina reckoned he was a war veteran - or perhaps even an old hero. There was also something disturbingly familiar in him, now that Katrina thought it more. She decided she would never know unless she asked.
Katrina: "So, my knight-in-a-shining-armor, those townspeople sure seemed to respect you. May I ask your name?"
Watchman: "Why yes, kitten. I am sir Gladius Coppershield, former vassal of King of Diadem. See, that is why I didn't believe you when you said you were the princess of Diadem: all the Braveblades are now dead because of Jeric, and I curse myself for not being there for them, as I retired the army many years ago."
Katrina: "So that's where I remember you..."
Gladius: "Excuse me?"
Katrina: "I've seen you with my father when I was little."
Gladius: "Wait a minute!"

The man turned on his saddle to take a good look at Katrina.
Gladius: "My gods... It can't be..."
Katrina: "I wasn't lying, sir Coppershield! I am the last of Braveblades of Diadem!"

The two sisters stood there still waiting for a reply. As Hydraia grew tired she decided to turn away from the angel.

Sister when he speaks come get me. I will no longer hold this waterfall open and wait no him. Good-bye!

My name is Darvyn! And I come for your help. All details cannot be given now but I will return soon. Bye!!

Before either sister could reply. The waterfall had closed and the angel flew off. Just as quick as he came he left again. Both Hydraia and Gaea stood perplexed by the situation they were now in. Brushfire still in the room heard how quiet it had became and came out to make sure eveything was still okay with her sisters!!

What happened? WHy are you standing there with those dumb expressions?

It seems that we are being summoned for help. I'm not sure why and I'm not sure how he found us but there is something very strange about the whole situation. And I dont think its all good!!!

*Pokes Sweetreyes with a stick to see if she's still alive*

I'll just add that Hydraia has a very calm nature and is usually always happy unless very agrovated.Although I probably would have gottne sick of waiting and went inside and closed the waterfall but not in such a harsh tone.I'd probably say something like:

Hydraia:When you're ready to speak then tell us because for now I'm going inside.

Something along the lines of kind.

"brushfire....bruuuussh fiiiire" A voice echoes through the forest...
"brushfire... come play with us...."
"Yeah brushfire... come help us..."

Brushfire glances around..."Did you guys hear that?"

"Hear what?" hydraia asks

"Hmm.. nothing... i need to go for a bit... i am hearing something and need to check on it.." brushfire zooms out of her sisters home ignoreing the waterfall , the rain, and the lightning.

she zips between trees and brush and comes to a large lake. She takes a beep breath and zips across it as fast as she can. She comes up to a dry field under the canopy of the trees. To high to flood.. and the tree canopy to thick to let rain through.

Brushfire then calms.. finally away from the rain... and close to the voices. The voices called her more and more and they got louder. She comes up to a very neat clearing and tiny red specs fly around...

"brushfire... whats wrong??" a voice is heard again..

"Dont you feel it kids? THe forest is poisoned and being killed... so.. i was not ready to get the play call... but its good to see you guys again..." Brushfire answers quietly as the glowing spots gather around her...

"Then.... hmm... tell us a story ?" One spot asks...

"A story huh..... about what?" Brushfire asks the small group.

"We dont know... how... about you?" one flickers as it flys around brushfire's head

"Theres not much to know... a story though... hmm.. have i ever told you kids about when i was younger?"

"Nooo... tell us.. tell us!!" all the spots beg and flicker

"Alright young fireflies... gather round... and ill tell you the story of the quiet young brushfire.. unlike the one you know today..."

She whirled around, silver daggar twisting in her hand. Then she muttered a well chosen spell and the being solidified. It had been unable to penetrate her defenses, so it's physical form was forced into being through her latin words. She was right. It was an Incubus. A tall male, thin, pale, cadaverous. She smiled.

Hallucin: Not wise...to seek me.

Incubus: I was sent by another.

Hallucin: Jeric?

Incubus: I am bound to not reveal it.

Hallucin: I'm going to banish you now....if you see him again, say hello from his former lover. Won't you do that for me?

*** he opened his mouth to reply, she whirled her hands and cast out a banishing spell. It covered him with several silver runes, and he struggled uselessly for several moments. Then Hallucin clapped her hands and said the final word. He vanished in a puff of sulfer and blue smoke. She waved her hand, driving the scent away....then looked out the window. They didn't usually travel during the day. Jeric must be working hard to get rid of her before all was....lost.

O.O.C.: Sorry it's been so long. I just got back from vacation yesterday.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Jeric paced around his room. He had summoned one of the Book's dark minions to keep an eye of Hallucin. He wasn't sure if she would notice, but knew that it could not be traced back to him. Looking through the minion's eyes, he could see that she was on her way to him. The news excited him, but he forced the pleasurable thoughts away. He would not be a slave to her magic.
He had devised a way to not only resist her advances, but also to hopefully stop them entirely. It would be a complex matter, the result of two interwoven curses from the book. He decided that he had better get started.
He went to the Book, which he had left closed on a podium near the center of the rounded room. He opened it and began to recite the words of the curse. After several minutes of recitation and manipulation of magical forces, the curse was complete. He felt a shudder as its grip took hold of him, as did Kilda as it took ahold of her.
The Lovers' Curse had been cast.
"Now, for Hallucin..." said Jeric, turning the Book to another page.
The top line read: The Servant's Devotion
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

O.O.C. The Lovers' Curse makes it so that if Kilda betrays Jeric, she dies, and if Jeric betrays Kilda, he dies.
The Servant's Devotion makes it so that if Jeric dies, the cursed servant will die as well.

Some of the more observant people here may see where I am going with this...:devil:

She locked her doors then ran in the direction she had came from. He looked up in his reading of the spell, then looked down again. She hissed in rage...her spine was tingling again. To block the spell...was folly. To live a half life....and there was only one cure. She coated her blade in laburnum powder as she ran.

She reached the doors, barreled through the guards and burst into his room, just s he completed the spell. He laughed and she screamed.

Hallucin: ....you....

Jeric: If I die...so will you.

A blind sort of fury took her over, and she plunged the poisoned blade into his arm. He flinched, and tore it out. She was panting....eyes slowly returning back to normal....then she laughed.

Hallucin: You always liked to be in control. Didn't you?

Jeric: Of course....your poison will do nothing but aggravate me.

Hallucin: That was the intent you fool.

Hydraia watched Brushfire leave and sighed turning to her remaining sister.

Hydraia:I don't know what's going to happen if our forest is destroyed.Except the only change will be I won't have a home.I don't rely on the forest unlike you.As long as there's water I'm happy.

Gaea just nodded.Hydraia noticed she needed some time to herself.

Hydraia:Hey I'm going for a while okay?If you need help send a message through the water.

Hydraia smiled and flew out without opening the waterfall enjoying the water hitting her skin.Hydraia flew away leaving a sparkling blue trail behind her and she began to float around in the rain enjoying the water.Finally she pulled herself from the rain and dove head first into a large,sparkly clear lake.She dove further and further in as this was her favourite lake.The bottom was very very VERY far away.She saw some marine life and she stayed at their level and began talking to them and told them about the poisoning of the forest.They were worried but Hydraia calmed them down and decided to tell them a story about herself.

Hydraia:How about a story?

They all nodded happily and splashed around.

Hydraia:Ok ok.I discovered my powers and link when I was very young....

Katrina sat by the stove in Gladius's house. The man brought her a mug of hot tea.
Cat: "I thought you knights only drank mead and strong ale?"
Gladius: "It used to be that way back in Diadem. Our drinking sessions led to many unwanted offspring, among other things."
Cat: "You have children?"
Gladius: "Probably. I never bothered to find out. Well, most of them are probably dead by now, because of..."
Cat: "Jeric, I know..."

Gladius saw Katrina's face darkening.

Gladius: "Princess, I'm sorry! I was inconsiderate..."
Cat: "It's alright... Actually, I'm no more a princess anymore as you are a knight."
Gladius: "Because of Jeric."
Cat: "Because of Jeric."

The two sat a long time in front of the fire, gazing at it, both sunken to their thoughts. Inside them, wrath grew even stronger.

Jeric put his hand to the stab wound in his arm and spoke two words he had memorized from the book. It was instantly healed and the poison was forced out of his body and onto the floor. He touched his fingers to it.

"Potent." he said.

Then he felt her subtle powers at work. He began to regret the curse. That this beautiful creature would die as soon as....they embraced. He smiled.

"Leave me alone enchantress, or you will die." he said.

She narrowed her eyes, searching for something within him. There was something different about him. It seemed like another bit of magic...

"What have you been up to?" she asked, moving seductively closer.

The look he gave her was a terrible mix between a cringe and a smile.

"I invoked something called the Lovers' Curse." he answered.

"And what does that do?" she asked, taking another step closer, her breath on his neck.

He struggled with it. Her powers seemed much more potent when she was this close. But just the thought of what this next remark would do to her gave him the strength to say it.

"If I betray Kilda, I die." he said simply.

Hallucin was clever enough to put two and two together. She backed away from him, her eyes burning. She turned and walked towards the door.

"This is not the end, Jeric." she said. ""Your precious Book will not protect you forever."

She turned and left....quietly....while all the while seething with rage. Couldn't have seen it coming, BlackFox was going to have a laughing fit. Then probably take her back.

Instead of going home, she walked out into the surrounding woods, then plunged deep into the forest. Something arrested her attention.

Baby unicorn, pawing at the grass. She hurridly cast a spell of invisibility and followed it. Sure enough, it led her to it's mother. Beautiful, pure white....with a snow silver mane. Hallucin cursed herself, then drew her blade and lunged. It whickered, screamed, and the foal bolted. Blood, poured down, staining the grass, and her hands. Hallucin brought the fluid to her lips, drank deep...then felt the agonizing power course through her veins.

Life for half price. Now hers to claim. Only another cure, one she would save for later.

Jeric laughed as he watched Hallucin slay the unicorn. She had played right into his hands. How could she have not noticed that it was too easy? He continued to smirk. The baby unicorn had been just another illusion. The mother, however, was something much worse. It was a real unicorn, but Jeric had seen to it that it was no longer a symbol of purity. Through many curses and enchanments he had reft the soul of the beast away. He had replaced it with one of the fouler fiends of the Book. A power-leeching imp of the Netherworld. Hallucin had known she would be cursed, but to this extent she could not even have dreamed...

"One does not mock the Dark Lord without a price." he said grimly.

"Indeed, husband." said Kilda, slowly threading her away across the room.

"Perhaps now she will learn why it is I who am the Master, and she the servant." said Jeric grimly."She is dangerous, love. Be wary of her."

"I will. But now I must return to the corruption of the forest." she replied.

She retreated silently, to the inside of her chambers, locking the door, and descending down the steps. Being watched....being followed.....letting herself fall for something so simple as an illusion, when she could've cast a counter spell.

Hallucin quietly drew the necessary potions together and walked into her basement. Wards everywhere, impenetrable. A huge seven pointed star was carved into the ground. She was going to use it tonight....

Pour out the blood, retched from her stomach, add her own from a neck wound, the poison's known to her enemies, and the flesh of someone dear. She poured it all down into the cracks in the floor. Then, she stripped down to nothing and walked into the center of her handiwork. She sat down, then curled up in a fetal position. The candles she had lit went dark, and she let herself fall down into sweet oblivion, aided by the potent magic she had created without interference. It was pain, but then again, that was all life ever was for her. If Jeric wanted to countercurse what she was doing to herself, he could most definetly try.

OOC; After a year for being in a come sweetreyes finaaly awakens and starts life anew.....

OKAY also wheres the map that we have been promised I dont want to wonder off and go to the wrong place!!!!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Gaea knowing that what Hydraia spake was true knew that soon the fairies would have to move on and explore the world for themselves. But who was this angel, why had he come to them, was it a trick and illusion or just a hoax to rouse a few fairies.
Gaea not wanting to stay within Hydraia's cavern let without worrying about the water. Like her sister Gaea enjoyed the water but not so much as Hydraia.
The rain now only sprinkling trickled down Gaea's green skin as she slowly flew through the water and on to the far side of the forest. As she approched the edge of the forest she noticed not only a vast plain land but a beautiful mountain range close by as well. As she looked on she knew that this great big world had so much more to offer to her than just a forest. She moved closer to the plains and soon just flew out and landed on the ground. She dug her hands into the earth and felt the difference. The poison although not known how was only affecting the forest. She knew then that the poisoning was intentional but did not know how to proceed. Gaea quickly got up and returned to the forest.
Knowing her sisters where safe for the time being Gaea knew that it would be beast for them to stay here for now. She had to go off and find out who was poisoning the forest. As she returned home she packed a few of her belongings and also a disguise top keep her body covered as she knew that her kind were always sought after for the profits of man. She returned to Brushfires and Hydraia's lair and left them both notes letting them know which way she was going. Not wanting to alarm her sisters she told them that she would return within the week and soon after she flew off again towards the plains.
After saying goodbye to the forest Gaea slowly flew over the plains not wanting to attract unwanted attention to herself. After aout a mile out she turned once again to look at the forest.
Goodbye again home. But I will reutrn to you and hopefully with many answers so that you may be saved......
Hydraia:I discovered my powers when I was a baby faerie.I fell into this very lake and it was deep and I couldn't get out.Soon I realised that I could breath underwater and didn't srown.When mother realised she checked me over and I told her.She was surprised.Then everyday she let me go into the water and I became friends with your parents.They were very nice and liked to play with me.I grew up and I learned how to use my powers.Mother taught me how to summon water and I learned how to lift amounts of water.Then I was quite old and I was working on my summoning.I learned how to create Aquas.
Fish:Who's Aquas?
Hydraia:I never introduced you to Aquas?!
The fish shook in a negative.
Hydraia closed her eyes and the water around her swirled in a spiral around her and a dragon made of water appeared and roared loudly.Hydraia petted it and then she flicked her hand and it disappeared.
The fish were stunned.
Hydraia:Now that's Aquas.Anyways I soon learned how to summon him at a split second and became friends with him.Sadly your parents died but not before giving birth to you guys.I learned to master all of my powers and practised.Then I finished and I talk to you guys all the time when not in my waterfall area talking to the fishes there.
The fish had been listening carefully and holding onto every word.Hydraia saw the time and broke to the surface of the water.
Hydraia:Sorry guys I gotta go.I hope you enjoyed the story.
Hydraia waved and flew off with the same blue trail behind her.
She arrived back at her waterfall and saw there was a note.It said how Gaea was leaving the forests for a while and would be back within the week.Hydraia crumpled the paper and looked out the waterfall.She knew Gaea had to do it because she was going through a hard time like the time of the drought they had had.
The marks in the ground hissed angrily, and hundreds of deadly serpents....her familiar animal, came up from the ground. They caressed her sleeping body with their tongues' ....moving around her slowly. Sensuously. She moaned in her sleep and opened her mouth. One of the many death adders slipped to her face and kissed her lips, her tongue. As they drained her pain away, she continued to dream of nothing....and feel nothing.
The next morning, all but one of the snakes were gone, and she knew it had worked. The curse was still deep inside her, but the presence of her familiar would more than likely save her soul. It had consumed her...pulled her through the wall. And that was enough. The rose boa constrictor slid around her arms, and bonded himself to her waist. She smiled and stroked his head with her nails.
Curingqua Duka.
"I did not charm the snakes. They charmed me."
Brushfire glances at the fireflies and nods.
"A long long time ago...i was not this tall but i was big enough to know how to fly. I barely saw my sisters and i never knew my parents..." Brushfire begins..
"Thats so sad...is the whole story like this?" A fireFly goes a bit dim...
BrushFire shakes her head indicateing that it wasnt... and the dimmed fireflie got bright again...
"I lived on my own... just a child off living in a tree. Now you all know.. i would prefer living in a desert or a volcanoe or something like that... i love the heat and of course here it rains alot. I dont like rain...or any water for that matter.
"But...but why?"
"A couple reasons... The first is that when i was very young.. i was teaching myself about flight. I was good at flying but i had some wobbily traits. I fell into a river and the current dragged me under. Of course i felt weak suddenly and couldnt swim to shore...But! someone... something dragged me ashore and put me somewhere safe. Course i do now know who or what so thats still a mystery. I learned to avoid water as much as possible. The second reason is because water douses out fire... you all know i am the one of fire... so water could kill me...i dont like water..." Brushfire shivers a bit at the thought.
"my my... no wonder.."
"Anyways... i finally mastered all my fire powers.. i can do a lot now. I mastered flying.. and my sister can summon a water dragon...like creature..made of water..i can do something similar... but its not a dragon"
"What is it?"
"It is a Pheonix and i dont really summon her.. i create her so its a little different...Anyways i grew up... i found my sisters...we dont know much about our parents... but we now live in the same area.. my sisters and I. So we are close... although we dont viset each other often... we do have duties to attend to.. Gaea with helping the forest... and my other sister with her water duties.. me...hmm im not sure what i am sapposed to do...gosh.. never thought of that before" Brushfire sighs and stands up...
"Yougotta leave?"
BrushFire nods silently and all the little fireflies bid her farewell. She leaps off the ground and flies back towards her sisters home.
As Gaea continued her journey through the plains she was able to sense the difference between this land and her home. Although not as comfortable out in the open she still enjoyed feeling the new brushes and plants and touched every single one of them feeling new environments that she was only able to see as she spent her whole life behind that forest.
If only Brushfire and Hydraia were here. Burshfire would love this not alot of rain... she chuckled to herself as she turned back once again to see the forest which looked so very small now that she had almost reached the base of the mountains. Still about a day away from the nearest town Gaea decied to settle in amonsht the few trees she saw. There she was able to dig her feet into the earth and talk to the surrounding trees.
She spoke of her childhood and heard their stories as well. They mostly spoke of the weather or fires that had happened why they were still growing but they were happy to have someone new to talk to. Within the trees branches were birds and smaller animals who she also spoke with!
Still alone for the company of her sisters, Gaea felt a new sense of calm as she now had new friends to keep her comapny!
