This is an RPG based off of the Harry Potter world. Except for a couple of things. Those things being that there is no Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, Hermione Granger etc. The same professors are at Hogwarts, but you cannot be an existing character, related to an existing character, or be a rip off of an existing character. BE ORIGINAL. Make up your own character. Also, you may choose your wands wood, core, and length, but I will be sorting you based on your biography, because I am not having an RPG where there is a bunch of Gryffindors and Slytherins, yet no Hufflepuff or Ravenclaw. Minimum sign-up post of 200 words, NOT 200 characters. Correct grammar is a MUST. No "name:fred gregory" or "n4m3: fr3d gr3g0ry" stuff.

Personality: Abob is quiet and shy, and doesn?t make friends easily. When someone does earn his friendship and respect however, he is extremely loyal to them and expects the same in return. He has a near photographic memory and is quite smart, although rather lazy.
He also has a twisted sense of humor that not all find funny.

Biography: Abob's family is completely pureblood, and has had its fair share of Dark Wizards. His parents are middle class, and have an elderly house elf called Olos, who Abob considers one of his best friends. His family lives several miles outside of London, in a Muggle neighborhood. Both of his parents work for the ministry, his father as head of the Wizengamot, his mother as assistant to the Head of Magical Games and Sports. His older sister is a family disgrace, since she was assigned to Griffindor three years ago. Abob has many friends, all of which are attending Durmstrong Academy this year. He is very apprehensive about attending Hogwarts, and would much rather join his friends at Durmstrong (and learn a few good jinxes while he's there, something he feels he'll be missing out on at Hogwarts). He has also received an official warning from the Ministry of Magic for bewitching muggle door keys with a shrinking charm.

[b]Biography:[/b] Frank was born in the United States, and moved to Scotland when he was 8. He wasn't exactly the happiest about it. His mother was a American Witch, and his father was a Muggle Lawyer. They weren't sure if which side he would take after until one day when he was 7 he caused the family cat to turn into a mouse. His mother was delighted and his father was scared out of his mind. But the two decided to move to G.B. hoping Frank could attend Hogwarts.
Then the day came when he got his letter from Hogwarts. They happily took him to Diagon Alley and bought all that he would need. While he was being fitted for robes his mother went out and bought him a Snowy Owl, which he named Henry.
Frank soon found himself on Platform 9 3/4, a little scared, but extremely excited. He said good bye to him Mom and Dad, then loaded up his stuff and got on Hogwarts Express.

He's acutely aware of people's feelings and how they might be feeling underneath a fake expression. He's also quite the one for practical jokes, although they backfire on him more often than not. Hwever, that doesn't stop him trying! O_O!
[b]Biography:[/b] Todd is from a pureblood wizarding family, his parents being reluctant to let him attend Hogwarts to mix with "mudbloods" (an opinion which Todd doesn't share), but putting up with it because of the excellence of the school. Todd sometimes feels overpowered, as his parents push him into "proving" his heritage, and being a little clumsy by nature, he has always suffered at the end of sharp words. He loves his parents dearly, but is aware that sometimes he's taken for granted, or overlooked somehow.

She has an older brother, a fifth year, named Alexander (Alex) Tristan and she had a twin sister named Chilainey, but she died two years ago because she fell off Alex's broom while she was flying two hundred feet in the air. Despite what happened, Shizumi loves watching and playing Quidditch, mainly because it was one of the only things they both loved together. She hopes to play it while at Hogwarts, but sadly, first years can't play Quidditch. Her favorite class is Charms and Defence Against the Dark Arts, her least favorite is The History of Magic, hands down. She loves hanging with her friends, and when she's not around them, she's usually seen scribbling some pictures on a sheet of parchment.

Personality: Meridian doesn't really like people in general. She is usually quiet, but more because she doesn't think people are interesting than because she's shy. Biography: Meridian is an orphan, but she doesn't really mind that most of the time. She lives with her wizard uncle, who works in the Ministry of Magic to command Aurors.

Personality: Mixed, depending to whom she is talking to. To her friend she is kind, considerate, moody when she is stressed, usually happy, with a moderate sense of humour and a generosity. Is quite bright and knowledgable..but with a spelling dyslexia that can hamper her but she is willing to keep going. To people she does not like she is cold, snappy and a bit spoilt but it takes alot for her to get like that.

Biography: Lex is from a long line of pure bloods, but unlike most they are good and kind at heart and willing to defend there lands, family and friends to the bitter end. She is the eldest of her small segment of the family with three sisters under her and an infant brother. She was aminly brought up by her father as her mother was part of an national quidditch team and was often off in some part of the country, so how her siblings came around is a bit of mystery to her.
She has a varity of cousins already at Hogwarts, and many of them have already sent her letters advising of how to cope, which teachers to avoid and which to make firm friends with. There is no particular house pattern with the Lee's and all of them go on to lead prospective lives.

Biography: Shay was born into a non-wizarding family and was surprised to recieve a letter. She immeadiately told her mother, an accounant, who felt it was probably a prank. She then told her father, a science-fiction author and screenwriter. He believed her and used the money from his most recent book to fund her first year supplies and a ticket on the Hogwart's Express. Only her father accompanied her to Diagon Alley. Her mother was still convinced it was all a practical joke by one of Shay's friends.

Who is witty and brave, yet stubborn and hard headed. She doesn't take well to authority and is extremely smart, she never panics in danger or in extreme situations. She loves to create things from junk, draw, play music and listen to it, and she also loooves to do pranks.

Biography: Danbee Kim was born in Korea, but her family moved to a nice little village, located about thirty or so miles out of London when she was three. Although both of her parents are muggles she has always known about the magical world, because her grandmother (nan) is a witch. Danbee always wanted to become a witch like her Nan.

When she was nine something happened; she sprouted fur at the dinner table. A while later her Nan was there, it was then, that she was told she was a werewolf. Danbee didn't believe them until her Nan explained that sometimes, rarely, but sometimes it was inherited.
There was some good to it though. When she changes she can control herself mostly, she is still dangerous, but not nearly as much.

After receiving her letter from Hogwarts telling her she was accepted. Danbee went and bought all her supplies with her family, and even got an early birthday present, a cat.
She could hardly believe how lucky she was sitting in the car with Nan, on their way to the train station...

Pet: Roadkill aka:RK, a cat, has amber eyes and is all black with the exception of his white tipped ears. Also has unique gray markings on his back that look exceptionally like a car tire's track, henceforth his name.

Broom: Danbee is afraid of heights, though is trying very hard to overcome it.

Good idea@ the people putting down pet types and names, I forgot about that, hehe. Vertigo if you want something dragon in your wand, please change it to Dragon-heart string. also, if some people wouldn't mind if they changed their wand cores I'd be grateful. There's too many phoenix-feather cores, a little to many dragon-heart strings but they are common, while phoenix feather cores are not. I'm also going to be checking the sign-up regularly for questions, ideas, hints, and plot line ideas. Feel free to PM with them if you wish to do so. (Dang, I'm sounding a lot like a Professor right now! Damn McGonagall! ^_^) On that note, for all of your information, you cannot perform Quidditch. You are first-years and it is strictly forbidden. Biography: born to a muggle father and witch mother. His father died when he was 7 so he can still remember when the doctors told him his father was dead. His father had been the one to tell him his mother was a witch, which had surprised him, and he thought it was a joke until he broke his arm and his mother healed it. His father?s family also excepted his mother for who she was. She had told him to expect a letter from a school named Hogwarts this past summer and when he got it to bring it right to her. This past summer after he got his letter his mother took him to diagon ally and also introduced him to meet her family who were pretty rich. They bought him all his supplies and a broom but told him to leave it with them and asked him and his mother to stay with them from now on. They also bought him a snowy owl. his mother had given him some extra money for the train he didn't know why until he saw all the snacks. He decided to buy some mostly chocolate frogs because he knew he liked them. The way he was sitting in his seat he almost tripped a perfect and he laughed when he did. His parents both attended Hogwarts as children, but married as adults, moved to Canada for 10 years, then decided to move back to London. Jaymes has 3 brothers and 2 sisters, ages ranging from 3 to 22. Jaymes is an extremely hard worker, whos only purpose is to complete his 7 year training and become the best wizard he can. Now he has been able to find a job at Hogwarts. Teaching the subject he was the best in at school: Defense Against the Dark Arts. He really loved that class and got high marks all years in it. He is also good with Charms, Potions (watch out Snape ;)), and Transfiguration. He is also a animagus. He can turn into a ferret.
