Have any of you red' the goosebumps books by R.L Stine? I love 'em! He is a brillant childerns athour! The series 2000 is the best!

What do you think about R.L stine and is goosebumps books? There not really scary, but there amazing to read! Most of the time, they end at a cliff hanger or a twist. Creature teacher ended as a twist, and werewof of fever swamp, I think that ended as a cliff hanger. Werewolf in the living room ended as a cliff hanger.

What do you think about R.L stine and his tales that haunt him forever? The hauntinng hour is a good book that he wrote. It has a load of creeppppppppy, cliff hanger, twisting storys. I hope I can write like him one day.... :mrt: :mrt:

I loved Goosebumbs when I was little. I would check out ten or twelve at a time from the library, and sit upstairs in a closet and read them. Great fun. ^_~ I especially loved the sequels; it was always so fun to see the characters again. My favorite books were the Monster Blood ones.

I read every one he had out, until I got out of that phase, heh.

Then I read Fear Street for a long time. The only books of his that ever really scared me, though, were the 99 Fear Street chronicles. I think there were three books, and they freaked me out pretty badly.

I loved those. I read almost all of the ones that were in my library. Then I couldn't read anymore because everyone said it was below my level. I kept getting them anyway. I just didn't get credit for them. Oh well.

Although...Werewolf of Fever Swamp didn't really end in a cliffhanger.

The protagonist
has turned into a werewolf and now runs with his dog
. Sure, he'll have some weird adventures now, but a cliffhanger is usually designated with extreme action. I'd classify the ending more as "open-ended."

My favorite had to be Invasion of the Body Squeezers part 1 and 2. There was 3 parts to that book. My first Goosebumps book I first read was egg monsters from mars :P , Not the greatest though

I've read Egg monster. But I didn't understand it until I read it again. Welcome to dead house is brillant! Very cool! Love that one! It was so easy to understand...and really enjoyable!

I think it was werewolf in the living room which ended as a cliff hanger...

I used to love those books. And admittedly---the show. The only problem I saw with the books was that I could finish 'em before the thirty minute show even went off. But then I'd go and try to write my own. I could be more frightening then R.L. Stine. His writing wasn't really scary, just really interesting and fun to read.

My favorites were the 'Give Yourself Goosebumps'. My favorite of those were 'Welcome to Werewolf Woods'. I laughed most of the time reading it.
