Trance smiled to herself, picking off a pair of rather strappy stiletto heels. She slipped them on, then twirled in a swift pirouette.

Namida: Ballet?

Trance: Somewhat...I also took a class in exotic. Did rather well...

Namida: But that's not your real job.

Trance: No, I'm a gynecologist. Deliver babies, counsel mothers, all that good fun.

Namida: Sounds like money.

Trance: It is. And thankful parents often give me certain gifts....

Namida: Maybe I should try that.

She shook her head, smiling. The two went back to the mirrors, then to the wardrobes.

Namida sighed softly and walked into the bedroom, sitting down on the edge of one of the huge cnopy beds. She sat for a moment rummageing through her purse. She finally pulled out a a small powder compact and opened it. She stood and walked ot the corner of the room and placed the mirror side to the wall, Trance stuck out her head from inside the big closet and eyes Namida.

Namida knelt looking at the back of the compact as if it was a small window. She slowly moved along the wal til she mumbled something and took to rummageing in her purse again. She withdrew a tube of lipstick, only when she opened it there was no lipstick, a small razor blade pshed up inbetween two plastick lipstick looking pieces. Namida leaned over carefully and cut a small hole in the sheet rock.

She withdrew gaain from her purse a credit card with a series od red 0's on it. placeing it in the hole a odd sound started as the numbers went through til the red glowing numbers read 564432667. Namida smiled to herself and turned the dial. Trance couldn't see but came over slowly to investigate. Namida opened the door to the huge safe with a verry small door, hidden within the wall, she withdrew several boxes.

Handing one to Trance, whom had just sat down infront Namida. Opening one Trance almost screamed giddily as she stared down at the most beutiful diamon necklace she had ever seen, the jewl was almost as big as the hope diamond, but instead of blue it was as clear as glass.

Namida gasphed and peered down at a a pair of Sapphire ear rings, pretty and dangley.

The two awe struck woemn sat going through all the jewlery...

Aorashi: some people would call that stealing.

Trance and Namida looked at the man in white standing at the door.

Namida: don't tell us your gonna nark us out or something.

Aorashi: not at all, if this count valued his stuff he wouldn't leave is down here alone. anyways "narking" isn't my style nor is stealing for that matter, but i just enjoyed the reaction i got from you guys.

Trance and Namida gave him a evil stare, but had to be thankful he wasn't going to say anything. the two continued to look through the jewels and Aorashi continued his tour.

Trance: Red handed.

Namida: I almost feel guilty.

Trance: Almost...but not quite.

Namida: Oh well. It's not like we're going to keep them.

Trance: I couldn't wear them to work...and I usually stick to silver.

She rumaged through a few things and came out with two snake bangles.

Namida: Ethnic.

Trance: This would be more my style.

OOC: *looks around* Where's the count? ;)

Corey- "Interesting..." The room I had just walked into was obviously a library. Books reached to the cieling. There were several different kinds. Historical... Science Fiction... Novels... Biographical works... Anything you could imagine, along with some you probably wouldn't.
I strode out and walked up a large staircase. Turning right, I found myself in a long corridor. It stretched at least seventy feet and ended in another staircase and a window overlooking the lake. I walked about twenty feet in and turned right into a bedroom. It was a light grey with complimenting tan furniture. I ploped into the plush leather couch and looked down at myself. The rain had damaged some of my suit. Stained more than damaged, but none the less, a change of wardrobe would be preferable.
I stood and walked over to a rather large brueau, while taking in the whole of the room. It was a good twenty by twenty feet and still had enough room for a four-poster bed, a couch, and a rather large brueau. It slid open to reveal a nice line of male clothing, both shirts and pants. I looked it over and selected a nice black button-up shirt, cotton, and a pair of light-blue stonewashed khakis. I stepped in front of a modest mirror and examined myself. The clothing looked well on me. I hung up my damaged suit and layed back down on the couch, hoping to slip into a calming doze.

He opened his eyes. The knock on the door was gentle, yet loud enough to draw attention.

"Who is it?"

"Three guesses and the first two don't count."

"Come in."

She smiled and opened the door, closing it behind her quietly. The doctor had changed back into her normal clothes, keeping the bangles with her just in case. Namida had retired, but Trance was too awake for sleeping. She sat down on the couch next to him. He touched her hair gently, almost reverently. She blushed prettily.

"Are you tired?"

"Only a little. The evening has been more than eventful."

"Had fun looking through his wardrobes?"

"Plenty. And you?"

"It's not my thing."

Corey- "But I did change out of my suit. So I guess I did find something." I stroked her hair rythmically. It was nearing ten o'clock. The rain had let up a little, sending instead of large hearty dollups light and loving drops that tapped against the windows of the castle. I smiled and inhaled her soothing scent again. "It's Jasmine, isn't it?" She looked at me.

Trance- "Pardon?"

Corey- "Your perfume, or whatever that entrancing scent is." She smiled.

Trance- "Yes. Jasmine, and Moonflower." A very good combination. I allowed my eyes to dance about her lovely figure again before closing them and listening to the soft pattering of rain.

She leaned against his shoulder, and he put his arm around her. The sound of the rain, one of her favorite things....

He watched her eyes close partway, then her mouth open slightly. How easy it would be to kill her now. Crush her bones and slit her throat. She stirred and put her arm around his neck, fingers resting on his neck.

"Nervous?"

"Why should I be? Why would you kill me when you could sleep with me?"

".....good point."

She smiled, and settled back, pleased with herself.

Aorashi walked down stairs threw the darkness feeling his way along the wall. The Rain had kept him awake so he decided to get something to eat. He carefully crept down the last step and started to head towards the kitchen when he heard a muffled banging noise.

Aorashi: "What the heck is that?" He asked him self. He listened carefully and noted that the sound was coming from outside at the front door. "Maybe its the count." He said hopefully trotting over and opening up the door.

Taini: "Its about time. I'v been banging half the night." She pushed past the man and looked around with a confussed expresion. "Er..... why am I here?" She asked her self.

Aorashi: "uh..... You must be the person who missed the boat" He walked up and kissed her hand as he had with all the other girls.

WACK! Taini slapped him across the face.

Taini: "How dare you! Here I am in this really big place and I have no idea why!"

Namida stirred in her sleep, the bed across the room about to be occupied. A verry light sleeper she is, hearing the entire convo. She slowly slipped from her bed un noticed and pulled on a silken yukata. Slowly and silently slipping from a door on her side of the room. Beight a thief and not wishing to disturbe others, a verry good combo.

Namida took to taking a stroll through the house. Pulling her yukata tight around her. The cold air nipped at her un sleeved arms. Under her yukata she wore a black tank and grey boxer shorts.

Making her way to he main room, rembering there was a fireplace. Started she greeted the man whom had kissed her hand upon their meeting and a..verry wet and verry confused girl. She had heard enough of her rambling to understand.

Namida walked over and took the girl, Taini, by the hand. Leading her to sit infront the big fire place, upon a bear skin rug. Sitting next to the girl Namida slipped off her yukata and nodded ot the girl as she removed her wet clothing.

Namida glared at Aorashi as he turned around. Namida handed the girl her yukata and turned her head as well. A few moments later she cleared her throught and Aorashi came and sat down next to Namida on the rug.

Namida: So you do not know why you are here?

Taini: No I don't

Namida: Well Taini, I am Namida, and we have a lot in common. I don't know hwy I'm here either, only that I was invited.

Aorashi: Yea, see what ive been trying ot say?

Taini nodded and sighed. the three sat infront the fire chatting like old friends...

How beautiful she was. How completely entrancing... I blinked quickly. She was seducing me. But why not? We could all have fun. And plus, the count never said only one person had to get the money. Perhaps we could all get the prize.

Corey- "But then you would have no reason to kill me." Trance opened her eyes and looked up.

Trance- "Very true, but I think I like you." She settled back down and let her eyes slip closed. Perfect skin. How lovely it would look coated with crimson glory.

Yes. Go ahead... Do it... Grasp her neck and squeeze. Watch the life drain from her body. You'll love it. I promise.

I shuddered and dug in one of my pockets for my pills. My hand froze. They weren't there. I tensed up. Trance looked up at me.

Trance- "What's wrong?" I looked at her with panicked eyes.

Corey- "Um... *cough* I umm, can't find my medication." I stood up and looked quickly around the room. Nowhere... They weren't anywhere in here. Trance stood up, looking very slightly worried.

Trance- "Why do you suddenly need your meds? It shouldn't be that quick." I looked at her, now in a state of utter panic.

Corey- "It is. If I don't take them when the signs first show," I pressed a hand to my head, "I change... Drastically. I get violent... I," A light flared in my head. "My suit." I rushed over to the wardrobe and grabbed the pill bottle out of my left front pocket. I shoved three pills down my throat and sighed. It would be ok. "I'm fine." I turned to see Trance smiling. "What are you so happy about?"

She laughed and brushed up against him.

Trance: I could've told you they were there....but this was mroe interesting.

Corey: Do you want to die?

Trance: I can kill you just as easily as you can kill me. My switchblade is only a handsbreath away....although....

She removed it from her bra and set it down on the table.

Trance: ....it would get in the way.

Corey: You're insane.

Trance: Look who's talking.

He put his arms around her and she tripped them both down onto the nearby bed.

Namida's eyes kept to the fire, she felt herself longing, slipping away slowly in to the flames, the soft embers flickerd from the tips of flaming spires. The orange yellow glow wamred her skin, embraced her as nom an ever had. The warmth, the light. Who said fire wasn't alive? It fed on oxygen, and brethed, like us, it lives and dies, it grows or get smaller. It might even have a mind, for all we know.

She sighed softly, mind not flickering from the flame. Her galliant pupils reflected the flames, her amrs tightened around her legs as she gazed deeper, resisting urge to plunge into the fire. Other parts of Namidas mind wandered as half her attention stayed focused on the flickering flames.

She had already known why she was here. and what the results would be. A grandfather clock somewhere struck the hour. ..one gong...two gongs..three gongs...four gongs...five gongs...six gongs...seven gongs...eight gongs...nine gongs...ten gongs...eleven....twelve. Midnight darkneddhad taken over the living room, only sub sided by the light of the fire.

Namida wondered who would the killer be, maby even if it would be she to destroy another life for money. no..she hd come for the company most of all, she could never take a human life. Trance seemed nice enough, but she had noticed the weapon inside her bra. Prolly for protection. Corey, maby, but dosen't seem the type, less without medicine. The girl she just met? The late comer? Verry suspicious..the man sitting to her right? Maby.. one of the others? She knew not of them...she sat wondering gazing into the burning inferno...

 • 1 month later...
It wasn't before long that a voice was heard echoing through every room in the house, that would dictate to an extensive P.A. system with a speaker in every room and hallway in the house. the voice was calm and collective. very polite and proper.

"would all contestants please come to the dining room. dinner is served."

when they got there they would notice a middle aged man sitting there behind a plate and a glass of sparkling wine. the table was filled witha feast of food and there were enough plates, glasses, and chairs for everyone times a few. A warm smile came over his face as he looked at the rag tag of people.

"Good evening my friends." Dig in. and in the morning i will clue you in to the contest.

She blinked, then cursed softly. Corey sat up, pulling her up as well. She got dressed, leaving the two bangles on the table, and walked out. Corey was behind her, then next to her, holding her hand in his. He brought his lips closer to her ear, biting down softly. She turned and was about to reciprocate when she heard several doors opening then closing.

Trance cursed to herself one more and then let him open the doors for her. It was as the Count had planned. Man smiling. Creepy man smiling. She watched him through half closed eyes and automatically sat down in the chair Corey pulled out for her. The Count stared into her eyes and she smiled back, giving him the same smile she had given Corey. Only this one meant a great deal more than just "come have fun in bed with me."

The Count looked to the other guests before any more introduction could be made.

"Eh? O que raios..." Juran jumped up at the sound of the announcement, and realized that he had fallen asleep playing solitaire on the card table in the living room. He jumped up out of total surprise, suceeding only in banging his knee on the table. After jumping atound for a moment or two, he made a small dash to the dining room. He noticed with some shock, that everyone else was there already, and now they were staring at this blue-haired outcast, some in amusement, some in disgust.
"Ai, que dia e esse, nao posso nos acordar mais tarde?" He muttered to no one as he slipped silently into a chair, amid glares from the other guests, he sighed.
"Man, I wonder how I got myself into this." He muttered, some of the people next to him seemed stunned that he could speak english. He sighed and picked up a glass of water, taking deep gulps at a time.
