[Wolf Maximas13]

the wolf stood thinking about the plan that had been presented. he knew most of the men at that base, and knew a trick like that wouldn't work. most were like him, they could care less about a naked women. but, the men he didn't know could be more likely to fall for it.

Sayuri: well, we can't wait all day.

Wolf: acually we can, because we still have three days of travel ahead of us.

Sayuri: well, just give us your thoughts then.

Wolf: well, i think the ideas fifty fifty.

Sayuri: it had to be better than that.

Wolf: tell me, do you think i would fall for a trick like that?

Sayuri: we could find out.

Wolf looked at Sayuri with unhumoress eyes.

Sayuri: ok, ok, so it wouldn't work on you. whats your point?

Wolf: i know most of the samurai there. most are like me, but the new ones could be more like normal men. it would all depend on who was guarding at the time. plus it is something i would see a ninja doing not a samurai.

the group started moving again and put the idea a side for now. they would figure out how to get in when they got there. if it looked like Sayuri's plan could work then they would try it. thankfully there was a town coming up and they could all do for a pit stop.

[Raiha]

[COLOR=royalblue][i]Sayuri walked up to the nearest vendor in the open air market and made a discreet inquiry. He pointed her down the street to a man he called "FoxEye." She thanked him with a smile and walked off. The men watched her go, secretly relieved.

She stopped at the booth and put a silver coin on the counter. It was taken by the hands of a tall thin man, cadaverous in apperance, with pale shifting eyes. He spoke.[/i]

FoxEye: What brings you here?

Sayuri: In less than one day, I need the bark of laburnum, berries of nightshade, and a root from the lesser elderflower.

FoxEye: Come back tonight.

[i]He turned away, speaking to a servant. she smiled and walked back to the men.[/i]

Wolf: What was that about?

Sayuri: ...I used to be an alchemist. If plan A doesn't work, it always pays to have a plan B.

Kyp: Gonna drug them to death?

Sayuri: The Laburnum tree kills upon contact. Why would it be necessary to drug them? Although I could do it.[/COLOR]

[T man]

"Hm, if my information is correct this should be the place" kyp said as he walked into A resturaunt. Kyp went to A table and took A seat. "How can I help you" A waitress said as she came by. "I need to find evean cross" kyp said trying to look normale. The waitress just nodded and said "come this way" as she lead kyp into A back room. Inside was A guy working on A sword. On the wall was tools and different type of blade weapons. "Are you evean cross" kyp said as he walked to the man. "Yes I am so what do you want" evean said as he looked at kyp. "I need you to do some work on my sword" kyp said as he tossed it to evean. Evean looked the sword over and said "this will cost you A deal of money and are you sure you want me to do it." "I know of your reputation of makeing swords that can cut metal about 2 feet thick and your skill with tools. I'll pay you half the money now and give you the rest later. I'll give you A couple of hours to get the job done." Evean nodded and went to work. Kyp left some of the money for evean and left to get some thing to eat in the resturaunt.

Ken looked around at the open air market. He didn't truest these places, so he wen to the edge of town and found his own meal. He picked at a berry bush and found a great deal of edible berries. He ate them quickly and found most everyone else he was now traveling with. He didn't see Kyp, didn't really care either, he didn't like the kid. He was too rash, and arrogant for his taste, and he didn't like the fact that the kid thought he knew everything.

But he didn't let that get to him. He lurked with the others, not saying much, and not doing much. He would just fight when he saw fit, and do pretty much as he pleased.

OOC: Soz I haven't been posting...

IC: Kaiser looked at a few people from the bushes. He laughed.
"I wonder what them lot are do'in..." He continued ot look. Lately he had been spying on people from trees and bushes. He was looking if any one had heard of 'Kailmor'. Kailmor was his brother, he wanted him for a really sneaky reason. He laughed again.
"This should be fun." He looked up at the guys, then jumped out of the bush and into the trees. He laughed again.
"This is easy!"

Wolf and Sayuri walked down the markey street, and were joined by Ken.

Ken: is it just me or do you feel were being watched?

Sayuri: i get that all the time, but in my line of work it pays.

Wolf: Ken's right, we've been followed for about a day now. we picked him up after the twon battle. not sure what he's up to, but if he wanted us dead he would have tried at night.

Sayuri looked around and let her ears listen freely. she could since something around them.

Ken: tell me Wolf, what way of the samurai werw you taught?

Wolf looked at Ken then into nothing. he thoguht to himself awhile then decided to tell them enough.

Wolf: my original school was the one were going to attack.

Sayuri: ok, that explains the reason for this. you feel they have disgraced your school.

Wolf: right, but thats not the whole thing. anyways we were raised by a new form of samurai. one that trained not just on the mind, body, spirit, and sword but also nature. we were taught styles and techniques that went with our inner spirit. i don't think its hard to know what mone is. so my hearing and since of smell is better than most. i also have a quicker slash then most, but its still slower than one i know.

Ken: who?

Wolf: i shall not tell anymore, maybe once we get closer to the base.

Wolf and Sayuri decided to forgo Ken's ideas of these places and go to a resturant. good food would be nice at this point. Ken simply wondered back to his bush and keep a sharp eye out for there tag along.

[Vicky]

Kaiser kept an eye on them. He laughed again.
"Those suckers don't knwo I'm here!" He laughed again.
"I'm the master!" He looked around. A small bird landed beside him and peaked his finger.
"Shoo!" He growled. The bird flew off.
"I'm truely the master!" He laughed. Soon, more birds landed and peaked on his hand.
"Shoo!" He brushed most away.
"Birds!" One landed on his head and peaked at him.
"ARGH! STOP!" He yelled. Then, he heard a crack. The tree branch began to snap!
"ARGH! OUFF!" He fell out of the tree and hit the ground with a thud.
"Ouch..."

Kaiser stood on weak knees. when he brought his head up his nose was almost touching a sword tip. he looked down the blade to see Ken. then another blade was put on his shoulder. this one was Wolf's, who smiled at the fallen man.

Wolf: what is your name?

Kaiser: why should i tell you?

Ken's sword touched Kaiser's nose and made a small dot of blood trickle down.

Ken: your not in a position to refuse are questions.

Kaiser: good point, its Kaiser. can i get up now?

Wolf noded at Ken and the two put there swords away. Kyp and Sayuri came out and saw the man standing there.

Wolf: are you following us to kill us, join us, or rob us.

Sayuri: only one of those answers will let you keep your life. the other will just get you a slap from me.

Kaiser: great, i had no intension to kill or rob you, but i was wondering where you where all going.

Wolf: come with us and find out.

the group continued there quest and with a new member strong. the next place they would stop was a town about 50 miles away. there they would rest for the night.

[Vicky]

OOC: I know this is a bit off topic, But i've been writing all day. I may not be on ON in the morning....due to aches and pains in my neck and fingers from all this tpyeing....lately I've been hitting the wrong keys....

IC: Kaiser looked around. He rubbed his neck from the fall. The bent to the side and his neck cracked. there was a sudden shock in him.
"OUCH!" He looked around. HIs neck was really sore now.
"Sh**!" He walked along, as he stummed his toe and fell back.
"Did you get the number of that Donkey???" He sighed. He got backk up and followed them. He rubbed his neck. He looked at Wolf's sword.
"Hey, that's a cool disign. Were'd you get it?" Asked Kaiser. He rubbed his neck again.

[Dmitri_Dragoon]

"Clumsy oaf," Ken practically snarled. He honestly didn't know how this person survived this long. Constantly saying 'I'm the master,' when he's supposed to be hiding. [i]He's lucky he was trailing us and not some seriosly evil beings, or he would be dead. [/i]
Ken kept walking, ignoring anything that came from Kaiser's mouth afterwords.

Wolf: you seem to fall alot. but the sword was my fathers.

Kaiser: thats cool, this just isn't my day.

Sayuri: i've never seen a ninja fall so much.

Kaiser just looked at here with a evil eye. all Sayuri did was smile and wave. the group keep walking for what seemed forever, although 50 miles would take it's tool on some people.

[Vicky]

Kaiser laughed.
"Well, I guess it due to the pains in my neck...been looking at the sky a lot. Boy that hurts when you're hurt from a bad fight!" Kaiser rubbed his head.
"I'm not really a first class guy at keeping my balance. But I sure am good at fighting!" Kaiser put up his fist. He walked on, looking down ever so often cheaking for rocks.
"My father left me nothing..." He said.
"Huh?" Wolf looked over.
"Yup. He never left me something. When he died. He said in his will that nothing would go to me. Guess he didn't like em. Nor did my mother. She's a mong! I hate 'em both!"

[Raiha]

[color=royalblue]Sayuri: ...a mong. You realize that that particular word carries some meaning for me.

[i]She turned and gave him a very fixed stare. Kaiser winced, and her eyes flickered between silver and green. He could've sworn they turned into cat-like slits, then he blinked and they were back to normal. Sayuri curled her lip at him in disgust, then turned and continued walking.[/i]

Wolf: Ouch.

Kaiser: .....tempermental.

Sayuri: Fück you.

Kyp: So lady-like.

Sayuri: I'm the once tortured pet of fallen samurais. Am I supposed to be a lady? I think not.[/color]

[T man]

"I'm no fallen samurai and not every one here is for that matter" kyp said as he checked the work evean did on his sword. Some how the sword became lighter with out loosing any parts. Kaiser droped back to talk to kyp. "You have been around her longer, does she allways act like this" kaiser whispered to kyp. "Probaply and don't say any thing that could get her realy angry or she'll bight your head off" kyp said as he started to snicker. Sayuri gave them A bad look. "Ah, it's the eye of the devil run for your lives" kaiser said and they both started started to laugh.

[Dmitri_Dragoon]

Ken sighed and rolled his eyes. He began to wonder which god decided to place him with such idiots. To him it seemed the only people with any brains were Sayuri, Wolf, and himself. The other two were complete dolts.
[i]They're a disgrace to their titles,[/i] he thought suddenly. Which he found he may actually truly believe. A clumsy and not very stealthy ninja, and a disrespectful samurai. Ken thought he must have done something to anger the gods.

Wolf: ok, all joking aside guys. were almost to the town, so lets try and act semi normal.

Sayuri: i think that is normal for them.

Wolf: well, in there defence they are free spirits. alittle to free at times but none the less. you have to admit they have livened up the trip.

Ken: well they are very lively, i'll give ya that.

Kyp: thanks Wolf.

Wolf: hey, i'm just trying to give you guys an inch. just don't use that inch to hang yourselves with.

Kyp and Kaiser noded. the group walked into the town and at once got looks. they weren't quiet the nices bunch to look at. Wolf, Ken, and Sayuri's eyes could have killed most in there tracks. Kyp and Kaiser although playful had a aura that did show it was manly cover. the group followed Wolf to an inn. Wolf walked to the desk and arranged the rooms.

Wolf: ok, were in the first room to the right, and Sayuri is in the last to the left. you don't mind right?

Sayuri: i'm just surprised, most men want me in there rooms.

Ken: well its probally best for Kyp and Kaiser. they need to live through the night.

Sayuri: hmm, i guess so. ok, i'm off then see you guys tomorrow.

Kyp: where you going?

Sayuri: well, since were in a nice sized town i thought i would give it a run down.

Wolf: that dosen't include taking anything that not yours. remember you'll be paid nicely after this is done, so if you do want something acually buy it.

Sayuri: that takes all the fun out of it though.

Sayuri smiled and walked off. Ken noded and went his own way as well.

Kyp: looks like its just us three Wolf.

Wolf: i swell with pride.

[Raiha]

[COLOR=royalblue][i]Sayuri massaged her forehead with the point of her oragami. This trip was going to be more than just aggravating. This was going to require a period of repentence and twelve joss sticks. As the night set in, she walked down to the nearby temple. Sayuri glidded in quietly. Soon enough she was greeted by two old women, both masked and wearing long robes.[/i]

Sayuri: Tenesh, untai?

[i]The older woman smiled gravely and bowed to the female warrior. Sayuri bowed back. Old language and old manners. Both of which carried well in the eyes of the head of the Moon temple. The lady bowed once more and gestured to the clean grounds, then to the fountain. Sayuri looked down and followed her inside. The lady handed her three sticks of insence.

She knelt at the altar, lit them reverently, then pressed her forehead to the ground, murmering her prayers.[/i][/COLOR]

Ken walked through the city, taking in the sights, sounds, and smells that radiated from the area. Some were good, some were horrible, but he enjoyed it all. It was quiet, the way he liked it. No sounds of gun shots in the distance, just the sound of people going about their business of the day.

He went through a open air market and saw several interesting booths. There were booths for food, good and bad, weapon booths, and unfortunately a gun booth. He stopped at this one to look over the merchandise.

"Hello! Is there something I can help you with Sir?" the merchant said instantly, with a smile.
Ken shot the merchant a look that could kill almost anything, the merchant's smile faded, as he took a step back. Ken flashed his sword, but didn't draw it.
"You have until nightfall, which is soon, to destroy these guns. If you don't, I'll find you." Ken promised. Then walked away and went to a blade seller. There he looked over several swords from the west, which were rare items.
He finally found something that caught his interest and couldn't pass up. It was a wakizashi, of the same make of his katana. He paid the tender for the sword and walked away.

He smiled as he put the wakizashi on his belt, he now felt whole. He also smiled at the fact that the gun merchant had indeed left, and was probably destroying the guns, though Ken didn't really care. Ken walked around the town some more, before finally deciding to go back to the inn.

[Raiha]

[COLOR=royalblue][i]Ken paused outside the Moon temple. Sayuri walked out from the double doors, clapped her hands twice, then rang the bell. Whatever she said went unheard, but he decided not to ask. She looked at him, smiled slightly, then walked back to the inn with him. From the cool interior of the temple, the ladies watched her go. Every word she spoke was heard and written down.

Sayuri watched Ken move, and then her eyes fell to the blade he had recently purchased.[/i]

Sayuri: What is it for?

Ken: What's your oragami for?

Sayuri: I rest my case.

[i]The two smiled at eachother. Then he opened the door for her. She nodded and walked in. Wolf was seated at the table, by himself, in the corner. Sayuri sat down next to him, ignoring various stares.[/i]

Wolf: You smell like insense.

Sayuri: I was praying.[/COLOR]

Sayuri: what happened to your friends?

Wolf: they went off to have there own fun. they thought just staying here was boring.

Sayuri: well i hate to say it, but i agree with them. you just stayed here, why?

Wolf: had alot of thinking to do. i told you i went to the school were going to attack but nothing more.

Ken: i'm guessing there is something that deeply troubles you about going there.

Wolf: yes there is, and like i said. i might tell you the closer we get to the fort.

Ken and Sayuri joined Wolf at his table and they ordered food, and waited on there friends.

[Raiha]

[COLOR=royalblue][i]They came in, half an hour later, looking slightly toussled. Sayuri didn't even ruffle her brow. Instead, she raised her cup of steaming chrysanthamum tea and drank it down. Ken exchagned a glance with her that spoke of both disgust and embarassment. She rolled her eyes at their pathetic display of human emotion and poured herself another glass.[/i]

Wolf: You should've tried the black tea instead.

Sayuri: No...I want to get to sleep tonight.

Kyp: Like you need it.

[i]With calm movements, she set down her cup and dropped her hand to the hilt of her longblade. In one steady motion, she stood, unsheathed it, and brought it around to face him.[/i]

Sayuri: Twice you have insulted me. I have been patient up till now.[/COLOR]

[T man]

As soon as sayuri had her sword out kyp had drawn it. "If you want to fight here then let's do it but I don't think it's A good idea" kyp said with his sword drawn. "Why not" sayuri said with some anger. "If you two did start fighting here it would cause A comotion and that is not what we need" wolf said. "We can fight when we finish our mission. I'll hold off on the jokes for awhile" kyp said to sayuri. Sayuri just said nothing and withdrew her sword.

[Raiha]

[COLOR=royalblue][i]But only for an instant, in the next second, she had it out again and flicked it across his cheek, leaving a wound deep enough to scar. She then ducked under his own swing, and sat down again, hand on the tea pot.[/i]

Wolf: That was not kind.

Sayuri: ....I have a skill with empathy, I know what he was feeling. If I wasn't faster than him...I would have a similar wound.

Ken: ...I think it's time you went and prayed some more.

[i]Instead of being angry, she merely smiled at him, eyes half closing. An insult from him was not nearly as painful. At least he knew better than to fall under her blade as soon as his back was turned. She smiled and sipped her drink. Kyp glared at her, feeling the blood running down his face. She preened, then stood and walked up the stairs to her room. Once inside, she closed it swiftly, locked it with the only chair, and sat down on the bed.

She combed out her hair, then pulled it back again. Braids, long smooth ropes, twisted back and clasped down. Her sword was laid out along with her oragami.....her clothes fell on the ground and she slipped in between the sheets.[/i][/COLOR]

Ken smirked. [i] Well Kyp had been taught his place[/i] he thought. He finished his tea, and finished what was left of his meal.
"Well, I shall retire now, I hope we have a early start tomorrow." He stood up and gave a slight bow then walked up the stairs to their room. He entered it and placed his swords in front of him as he got onto his knees to pray.
His prayer done he found on of the most comfortable chairs and fell quickly asleep in it. He did not like sleeping in beds.

Kyp bandaged up the wound. "As soon as this mission is over i'm cuting of her demon head" kyp said to him self as he got into his bed. Kyp checked his sword and arrows again. He made sure he had every thing with him. He had A feeling that things where going to be hard tommorow and it was going to be harder now trying not to make any more wise cracks at sayuri again untill the end of the mission.
