Wolf Maximas13 Posted July 19, 2003 Author Share Posted July 19, 2003 Wolf had been having more dreams about his brother. each time the dream was the same. his brother would kill all of his friends and leave him to watch. he tried to capture his dreams and make them end how he wanted, but it seemed the emotion was to great. he was now half asleep and half awake. he could see that Ken and Sayuri were gone, but he also realized it was none of his buisness. he stood up and walked to a clearing in the trees. there he drew his sword and began a long kata he had learned recently. as he went through each movement he watched his sword. he saw the moon light dance across the blade and make his kata look even better. Wolf finished and felt some of his stress gone. a long kata always relieved his tension and made him feel more at ease. he stayed in the moon light for some time thinking about what he was going to do. tomorrow would be fullfilled for sure. Dmitri_Dragoon Posted July 20, 2003 Share Posted July 20, 2003 Ken watched Sayuri leave, he truly worried for her, and wondered if he should try to accompany her tomorrow when they attacked. He tried to face the fact that she could very well handle herself, but he feared for her safety in the state that she was currently in. He decided that he had best get what rest he could, and headed back to the camp, to see that Wolf had gone. He wasn't the least bit worried about Wolf. T man Posted July 20, 2003 Share Posted July 20, 2003 Kyp woke up with A start. "That was A strange dream" kyp said as he looked at the moon from the tree he was sleeping in. He rembered what his dream was about. In the dream he was figting sayuri and he could see the deamon blood in her vains. In the dream kyp was killing sayuri. Even though he only made little cuts in her skin she still acted as though she was being cut deeper. Near the end of the dream when sayuri fell ken came charging at him. She pressed it into her daughter's mouth and smiled slightly. And when she spoke, she heard the two languages of her life intertwined. Japanese and Chinese, flowing together as one understanding. "This is for you. Something I should've given you earlier. But now I do so.....because it is necessary." She touched her daughter's face. "You are the daughter of a first-wife. And one that was always in service to the Higher powers. Your shame comes from within. Banish it." "Mother. I carry the blood of the tengu now." "With this gift, your body shall become incompatible with itself. Your demon powers will always be balanced by the light. But you will feel great pain." ".....life is pain." She smiled and vanished...leaving Sayuri with a blinding pain in her heart and a feeling of boiling water. Wolf Maximas13 Posted July 20, 2003 Author Share Posted July 20, 2003 even with all the nightmares of the night the group did get rested. for now the sun was riseing over the hills and through the trees. the light was not yet visable to all, but the group new it was time. they awoke and spalsehed there faces with the cold water from the stream. they went through there preperations and there plan. they all confirmed what they were doing and how to do it. Sayuri folded her origami, Ken meditated, Kyp and Kiaser talked and sharpened there weapns, Arus watched the sun rise and went through his own thoughts. finally Wolf was standing in the opening he did last night. he looked at his sword and pointed straight ahead. Wolf: lets do this my friend. Wolf turned to the others and they looked at him. Wolf: i thank you again for doing this. i know if we work as a team we can do this. ok, Kyp, Arus go now to meet with the supplie cart. Kyp send an arrow once you have it. that will be our signal to begin. Kiaser and Sayuri will go as me and Ken enter the fort. the comotion should be enough to make your entry easier. Ken: ok, so what do we do when we get in? Wolf: will talk with my brother and stall. when Kyp and Arus arive with the supplies is when we make are move. while Kyp and Arus make fools of themselves and cause as much confusion as possible. Sayuri and Kiaser will be btaking care of the sleeping guards. the fewer we have to deal with the better. the second an alarm is sent will take the guards in the main room, and i'll finish my brother. Sayuri: sounds good to me. can you handle that Kiaser? Kiaser: i can and i will. Kyp: don't worry, causeing confusion is what i do best. "Come on we need to get that cart" arus said to kyp as they ran into the town. They ran across the roof tops looking for the cart. There was A couple of people awake but not enough to be A threat. "There's the cart" arus said as he saw A cart being pulled by two horses going by. Kyp shot some arrows in front of the horses to make them stop. "What's going on now" A man said from the cart. 'I don't know the horses stoped" the driver said. Arus jumped bown and knocked them out. Arus went to the reins while kyp draged themen away and hid them. "Well I hope this works" kyp thought as he got on the cart and shot one of his arrows in the direction that he thought that wolf and the other would be at. The human half of the cart was not so cheerful, though. Arus and Kyp were preparing for the task that lie ahead. Arus: I hope you knopw what your doing when we get there. Kyp: Of course I do! Its not that hard, all we have to do is cause commotion. Arus: Just make our plan too visible and don't get yourself killed-I can't stand it when people leave their dead bodies to weigh my conscience. Kyp: I can tell you really care about your teammates. One was an intense shade of silverish green, while the other was a dusky pink. He indicated her eyes and she opened her mouth, showing him the diamond stud her mother had implanted on her tongue. He blinked. She winked at him, then drew her glove on and went slipping through the trees, Kaiser going in the opposite roundabout path. Wolf and Ken advanced quietly. Sayuri came upon the nearest dozing guard, and dispatched him by swiftly drawing her oragami across his throat. He didn't even have time for a final gasp, it was over that quickly..... She smiled and licked her oragami clean....then automatically felt a blinding flash of pain from the clear eye and the diamond in her mouth. Incompatible. Ken: seems they know not to give us an edge. Wolf: my brother knows how to treat guests thats for sure. the two made it to the main room, and saw Wolf brother sitting in a eligent chair. his long purple hair was free and hng everywhere. his scar was visable for his shirt was open to bare it. the robe that hung over his shoulders was drapped on drunkenly, and his sword lay at his side as did his rifle. Twilight: brother! what brings you to my home? have you decided to join me? Wolf: no brother, i've come to ask you to stop useing the gun. Twilight: (while laughing) you must be jokeing! this weapon is the future dear brother. just wait until you see what we have come up with. the man snapped his fingers and three guards pulled in a big object covered in a red cloth. Twilight got up and throw the sheet off. under was a larger version of there rifles. Twilight picked it up and put it on his shoulder. Twilight: see, this is what i call a mobile cannon. it can fire small cannon balls from where ever the man stands. the kick is still to much for were still trying to figure out how much gunpoweder is really needed. Wolf: NONE! this is gone to far brother. if father was alive he would strike you down. Twilight: but his not, and you of all people can't. so why don't you just fu** off. Ken and Wolf stood in the room with there fists clinched. both hated this new weapon, and want to cut Twilight's throat so bad. they knew with so many guards though. an attack would be stopped all to quick. She dispatched about ten more people before meeting Kaiser in the hall. Instead of seeing him, she stood back to back, the two scanning the area. They smiled. In spite of the danger it was getting quite fun. They climbed to the attic, upper levels, finding nothing.....then went lower. Both of them continued their silent massacre, until they were outside the door of their nemesis. Sayuri knocked, handing her blades to Kaiser. "Now what do we do with them" arus said looking around. Kyp hit both of the horses and they went charging down the hallway. "Now come on and move it. We need to find the others" kyp said as he started running. "Was that realy needed" arus asked as they ran. "Well yes. We were ordered to make a distraction so some of the gaurds will be busy with the horses while we take out the rest" kyp said as they ran down the hallway. He edged closer to Wolf and whispered in a voice that could only be heard by him. "I'll distract the guards, you worry about your brother, but leave the guards to me and don't worry about what happens to me. If I die, you will be on your own, and vice versa. Go when you are ready, I already am." Ken slowly eased a step away from Wolf, and crossed his arms over his chest, secretly putting his hands on the hilts of his swords. Twilight: your little punk. i'm still better then you'll ever be. Wolf: lets see then. NOW! Wolf drew his sword as did Ken. Ken's blades were dropping guard after guard. Wolf's had been stopped by Twilight's. Twilight: you have goten faster though. Wolf: i've done more than that! Wolf pushed his brother off balance and slashed again. Twilight parried it, but was not ready for the force behind it. it seems Wolf had goten stronger as well. the two clashed blaeds and made sparks fly. Ken was busy cutting down the guards before the could raise there guns, or draw there swords. Ken pushed a guard out of the window and watched him land on a rack of spears. sayuri and Kiaser heard the noise and knew it had begun. Kyp and Arus saw the man die and began pushing there way to the main room. Twilight: MEN! call the guards! Guard: we tried, none are coming si...... Ken's blade finished the man's words. Wolf: its over Twilight. Twilight: no...NO! i will not fall! he swung his blade hard and smashed table infront of him. Wolf jumped and slashed quick and hard. Twilight looked to see a scar on his arm appear. Twilight: you little.... the plan was working, but could Wolf finish his brother? he would find out when and if the time came. Quickly they started firing at him, and Ken was barely able to dodge the bullets. Then he felt it. A piece of lead hit him, it burrowed deep in his calf muscle, and he quickly fell to the ground. "Damnation," he cursed silently in pain. He stood to the best of his abilities, and hopped around on one foot, distracting the guards while Wolf faced down his brother. Ken held up his wakizashi, looked at the nearest guard and threw his blade at him. It struck the guard in the head, between the eyes. He was dead before he even hit the ground. Ken gritted his teeth, and took the pain as he jumped up, and brought his sword down upon another guard, quickly cutting off his scream. He thanked the gods that they had to reload their weapons. Quickly he moved, cutting down guardsmen whom were scrambling to reload before they were cut down. He came up to a guardsmen, and before he could strike him down, he found himself face to face with a pistol. "Crap," Time seemed to slow down as Ken watched the guard pull the trigger, and the hammer fell down to strike. As it did, he ducked back, and barely avoided the bullet from piercing through his head. But he was still effected. His ears had a incredibley loud ringing in them, and he found he heard everything muffled. Almost nothing at all. He kicked his foot up and struck the guard in the groin, then as the guard doubled over he raised his katana up and impaled the guard on it. "The coast is clear!" Ken said normally to Wolf, even though to everyone except Ken, it was a shout. He grimaced in pain and reached up to his ears, and felt blood seeping out of them. "Damnit!" He shouted. She cursed and raged, feeling her demon blood rising behind her eyes. The guards fell around her...like confettie. She charged down the corridor, and nearly plowed Ken over. He was holding his ears, both of them bleeding. She swore once more, then looked him in the eye and placed her hands over his. She felt the stud in her mouth pulse and she let it go. Immediatly something that could only be felt as a presence....filled his body and passed through his ears. He blinked, then shook his head. Now he could tell what volume he was speaking, but some others may have to speak up for him to hear them properly. He looked up and saw Sayuri clutching her head in severe pain. He stood up quickly and felt that the wound in his leg had healed as well. "Sayuri? What's wrong?" He asked urgently. She moved her lips, but he didn't hear it. "What?!" Ken: What can I do? "Make sure I don't kill anyone I love....please..." "Where are wolf and the others" arus said as he cut A gaurd down. To kyp left was A court yard and on the other side was A hallway. Kyp saw sayuri and ken. It looked like sayuri was in pain. "As much as I hate to do this but I gotta" kyp thought as he cut down the wall with his sword and ran into the court yard with arus following. He didn't know how to stop her from killing people very well, considering she was a third demon, angel and human, he thinks. He heard her scream, but because of his hearing loss it wasn't all that loud. But he could still tell she was still in pain. He kept his arms firmly on her shoulders, as her body continued to contort into it's mishappen form. Ken was now very frightened, he hoped that she would kill him, but he knew that it was a possibility. "Come on Sayuri, fight it.." he urged, but he didn't know if it had any effect. She dug her fingers in, nearly strangling him. He pushed her off and drew his blade. She had her own out in an instant....then the searing pain behind her eyes grew too intense...and she collapsed. The diamond stud in her mouth burned. Her wings folded, eyes misting over. She fought the warming waves of sleep and tried to rise to one knee. Out of the corner of her eye, she could see Kyp and Arus. If he had any revenge....now would be so perfect. Vulnerable. That's what she was. He quickly turned on them, knowing that Kyp may try to do something. "If you even think of touching her, you have to kill me first." He said evenly, without emotion. If they said anything back to him he didn't hear it. He looked at Sayuri, and vowed as long as he breathed, he would make sure that she was not vulnerable. Her wings retracted, leaving two angry looking bruises....the stud on her tongue quieted down quickly. She turned and looked up at Ken. Despite the pain she had given him, ne still would protect her... Something blurred her vision. She wiped away tears, and found herself touching the feathers that had sprouted on her face. She gasped. Tengu's from the darkness, laughed and cawed. While angels above sighed and vowed their eternal vigil. Sayuri's mother shook her head quietly. The walls fell down and the hall was in chaos. He and Kyp made their way farther into it and he barely heard Ken's voice say something to Kyp. But Arus wasn't watching that. He was watching the fight between Wolf and Twilight. He then turned his attention to Ken and Sayuri. Both seemed injured, but it seemed he must have missed something.
