It a good pic with good CGing, but there is one problem: the girl's right ear sticks out a little too far. With her head turned at that angle, you shouldn't really see that much.

Keep up the good work.:D

I see that you didn't do any solid white areas on any of the clothes highlights in this one... I think that helps this out immensely. I don't really think any of the clothes look out of place.

Once you start addressing shadowing I think you'll be good. Not really normal shadowing, as you seem to have that down... but self shadowing, as in the shadow the character casts on itself. Once you have that going, I really don't think there'd be anything "wrong" (and I use that word loosely, since this stuff is excellent), with any of your work.

Nice job.

That''s so pretty. I love her hair, especially.

Looking at it again, the only thing that stick out is the little bag at her side--it really needs some sort of shadow to show it's below her arm. There are a few other similar places, but that's one that sort of stick out for me.

Other than that...I really love this picture.

how should a picture be properly shaded? what do you ppl do? o_o do you use a brush completely or cel-shade it first, then use smooth brushes to smooth out the necessary edges? cus I am not sure if I am doing the right thing, given that after so many tries I cannot shade like anime artists do.
