Acira Posted July 17, 2003 Author Share Posted July 17, 2003 Acira laughed at Serena, but got hit in the head by her for laughing. Orion led Acira and Serena to some chairs. "Sit." Said Orion as he sat in a chair. They both sat down and were served food from the servents. Acira ate his food quickly. "Master we must train quickly for Doraka lurks in the shadows and will not stop until he has the world in his grasp." Said Acira as he stood up. "You cannot be trained again Acira." Said Orion as he stood up. "You have had all the training of Baakuum temple, you must venture to the other known temples across the world to become a complete fighter." He said As he looked at Serena. "She is the only one I can train. Come follow me." Said Orion as Serena got up from her seat and began to follow Orion. Acira smiled at her and said. He stares at Serena and tells her to walk to the center of the room. She walks slowly to the center of the room and notices her body getting heavier. She stands in the middle of the room. "Now, you will see what binds you. Your fear, your anger, your hatred. This will all be a dream, but listen to my voice as I guide you, this is only one of the 3 things you must accomplish." A gaurd came up behind her and dragged her to the main room. Serena looked up to see her fathers throne and her father. She gulped. King Yami: My daughter. Once again you have run away. Serena smiled nervously. She had forgotten this was a dream. A handsome guy walked out from behind the throne. Serena gasped. It was her fiance! King Yami; We have been worried about you. Serena flinched at the smirk. She was afraid of him. She had always been. Her hand tightened on the knife. serena; Stay back!! Stay back or I'll kill you! Iswear it. the guy shook his head and put his sword down. Serena sighed with relief. serena now go away!! He shook his head again and stepped twards her. Serena's heart started beating faster. He vanished in a cloud of smoke along with king Yami. "You have shown that he is not the one you love. Who you do love is only told by the gods child." Said orion as a small essence of light touched Serena. "You have passed the first test. Feel the first amount of power enter you, courage." The light filled Serena with hope. "Now for the second test, the test of anger and hatred. Then the final test, the test of Love." Said Orion as the room suddenly became dark again. "What is the one thing you hate the most in your life. The one thing that has caused so much pain that you would love to take it out of this world?" Said Orion. Her deceased mother and father appeared before her eyes. She was young again. her father was yelling at her mother. Her mother yelled back and was slapped for it. Her father pulled out a sword and sliced off her head. serena stared with her mouth open as tears filled her eyes. Her fists once again were clenched. but this time it wasn't from fear. She withdrew a throwing knife and aimed it at him. Time seemed to slow as she pulled back her hand. she threw her hand forward but the knife never left it. Serena dropped the knife and sighed. serena: I can't do it. No amount of anger can make me kill my own father... Serena dropped to her knees. Said Orion as a different colored light shined on Serena. It was red this time. "Feel the power flow within you, strength." Said Orion as the room suddenly went dark again. "This last test is the most difficult of all. The test of True Love." Said Orion as the room got completely dark once more. A trail of blue dirt etched a path which serena began to walk. A shadow of a man was at the end of the long trail which seemed to be getting longer by the second. Several monstrous beings began to block Serena's path. One of the monsterous beings reached out for her. Serena felt fear trying to come back but the glow from her first test blocked her fear. serena pulled out her knives again. She must have learned some battle skill when she was with Acira." Said Orion. He watched as a storm began to erupt and the shadowed man walked towards a ledge. Serena was still chasing him, not even aware of his identity. A massive lightning bolt from the sky crashed in front of Serena, then in front of the shadow, causing the shadow to fall off the ledge. Says Orion as A holy colored light shines on Serena. It fills her with power. "The final test of Hope has been completed. You have learned all that I can teach you Serena." Said Orion as he looked Into Serena's Eyes. "Do you know why you didn't see the identity of the man you truly love? Because you aren't meant to find love this way. So says the spirits of the Salkyutsi. You will find this out soon Serena when you nearly lose someone dearly to you. That is when your hope from the final test will be put to the test." Said Orion. Shadow Beast: Sir, Recon Alpha thinks they've found something. They're not sure what, but they think there's a good chance it's related to the Salkyutsi. Doraka: Did they send an image of the area? Shadow Beast: Yes. Doraka: Good. Shadow Beast: Also, Squad Epsilon sent a report just before you arrived. It seems that Acira and someone else were led underground by an unknown person. They chose not to follow. Doraka: Interesting. Maybe... maybe there's more to Baakuum Temple than I though. Well, it's not like it matters. The leader, Orion, couldn't do anything to stop me, and there's no way anyone else of Baakuum Temple can. The only thing that can stop me is the Salkyutsi. Shadow Beast: What are your orders? Doraka: Have Squad Epsilon track Acira. I want to know where he goes, what he does, the identities of anyone he meets, and anything that has even a small chance of being important. The squad leader pauses nervously, then approaches Damian) Squad Leader: Sir, what are- I mean, we didn't expect- Damian: I don't care what you expected. What did you find? Squad Leader: An underground chamber of some sort with the symbol accociated with the Salkyutsi by the entrance. None of us has attempted to enter. Damian: Why not? Never mind. It doesn't matter. You probably wouldn't be able to use what's in there anyways. Squad Leader: Do you think the Salkyutsi is in there? Damian: No. That would be too easy. No, it's something else. It'p probably one of three things: a clue to the Salkyutsi's location; a clue to the location of another clue, either to the Salkyutsi or to yet another clue; or something that must be found to aquire the Salkyutsi. She didn't like where this was going. Orion: As we all know he is stronger than before. The mission of stopping him will be alot harder. And much more dangerous.Ecspecially for you serena since you are not as experienced as Acira. Serena: so..what are we supposed to do? Acira: look for Doraka. Orion: yes, thats true. Spaced evenly around the chamber are four symbols, each the same shape but a different color. The shape is a circle set on a six-pointed star so that it crosses the star at all non-point interections of lines. One symbol is blue, one is red, one is brown, and one is yellow. Below each symbol is a circular indentation. On the ground is a huge map with four markings on it, one of each symbol color) Doraka: This isn't that hard. There are four symbols, each one the color of a different one of the basic elements in this world: water, fire, earth, and air. The markings on the map must refer to temple locations. Two certianly do. I lnow where the earth and water ones are, and two of the marks correspond with their locations, meaning that the others probably also do. The indentations below the symbols indicate that an object must be aquirred from each temple and placed ion the corresponding slot. The indentation shape suggests spheres. I must go to each temple, get the sphere from it, and bring it back here. Then I will see what happens next. I will probably not find the Salkyutsi, but another clue or goal. "But to stop him from getting it would be nearly impossible, since I have received all training from your temple." He said Again. Orion looked at him, then at Serena. "Usually I don't tell students who haven't trained for at least 5 years, but I think it is time to tell you both an ancient secret." Said Orion.
