Mei
Yes, I have tried once again to create a nice looking backround.^^() This one actually has a picture, as well as some text.^^ I again used the gradient tool, but this time, I had it going it two different directions. I cloned in a picture of Yuna from Final Fantasy X-2, which most FF fans should know, was just recently released in Japan.^~ Also, I left some white around the edges of Yuna, just to make it seem like she was glowing, and because I had very little choice in the matter.^^() After I get a comment on this, I will post up the original backround as well, before I placed in the picture and text.^^
DeathKnight
Thats sort of crappy, lol. But you did really good in feathering the white off the image and placeing it on the bg, just I hate that background. -.-; 6/
Syk3
It's not too bad, but I deffinitly prefer your first background. Sarting on the background itself, I like how you made the light going in different directions, but the way that it sort of repeats itself makes it seem like you could have put a little more time into it. The colors are the same as your last one, but I like them, so that's not an issue. ^_^ The picture and text could have been a bit better; maybe not so much the font, but Yuna should have been of higher quality. That being said, I really admire how you cut her out, and it seems to go along with the background and blend in perfectly. And, of course, it could use an outline. :) All artwork would look better with outlines. oO;
Break
Oooo... ^_^ I reckon it's all pretty okay. :) But you should use thinner-thinner rows for the background and make the colours in it darker, then it'd be better. Maybe change the font to something more.. appropriate? What I love is the way you've cut out the image of Yuna, it probably took a long time and it was worth it. It looks excellent. ^^ Nice work Mei, keep it up. 6.5/
Mei
Yes..the backround is rather bright, and plain, isn't it?^^() Also, the text..well, it's always so hard to choose text.Oo Arcsoft has such a loooong list of different types, I just thought this looked nice, but that's my opinion, eh?^~ I'm still proud of how I fit Yuna into it though. The problem is, the lines don't look so big on Arcsoft, considering it scales the image down so you can work on all of it. Oh well, I tried, and I like the basic results. Here's the original, no pictures, no text.(Except my name...knew I shouldn't have put it there.Oo)
GinnyLyn
(Methinks you should go into the optical illusion industry--I could swear that this image is moving too, just like your other one.) OK, that being said, I agree Yuna was cut out very well. The color scheme is close in matching the Yuna picture (and that in itself can be a difficult thing), but not quite close enough to make it seamless. The text bothers me, plain and simple. Text font and position is something that plagues all artists, though, so don't feel bad about that. I would have chosen more of a Lucinda Handwriting or Monotype Cursive (I believe that is what it is called?) for the font, then give it a white edge, and gradiate the text itself with the background colors in the FF Logo manner. (See FF Logos to see what I mean.) Good job. Better than I could do anyday, so yes, good job. =)
