Xaru Silverfire
I'm really confused...... .Hack is a game. The episode last night(July 5th) Showed Subaru sitting at a computer.... I always thought .Hack was some sort of a virtual reality system in which you interact physicly with other characters. That can't be true because Subaru is crippled. Someone straiten this out for me, please.
Epsilon
Nope...at least least what I know. It is a virtual game, but I always thought that the you put on the visers and head phones and every thing then you get your mind taken in to the game. That's why Tsuksa can't get out, there's no longer a way out. Or so that's what I think has been happening. I may be wrong.
Zephyr
In .Hack//Liminalitily No.1 they show the game being played with a visor, as shown in the opening credits of .Hack//SIGN, and a Playstation style controller. My guess is that it can be played with a joystick too. As for a virtual reality game, it is not like that. It does leave some things unexplained, like how they move realistically when a keyboard would not be enough to do that, but such things are overcome by just ignoring those little details (and hoping they are explained later). OtakuSennen
I'm guessing there are different control patterns.. Visor or screen, joystick or PS-style controller, typing words or speaking them..
sophic
ya becouse the littel viser has a resever thing on it so you can see 3D and speak with them but you controle it by a PS2 controler thing but i gess she took it of or some thing or just dont have one. AzureWolf
Actually, they explain the current technology in .hack thoroughly via the news in the video games. Technically, you can play just like you do now, but most people use those hip visors. We don't know if Subaru uses them or not, because it seemed like
she took off the visors to cry
Hey, I would have done the same. I'm betting she does, since it's a very common thing to have in the .hack age. Keep in mind that everyone we've seen playing has a computer screen even if they have those visors. Xaru Silverfire
I still don't understand why Tsukasa can't log out. Maybe they will explain it in the finale when he does log out. I think it's possilbe that he got his mind pulled into the game, like Ruby said.
Epsilon
Thanks Xaru Silverfire! And I've come up with more theroies of what it's played with. In the firtst epi. Tsuksa fell from a chair sitting in front of a computer. (This goes against what I had said before) Then in the sceen they showed a up close pic of head phones. Tsuksa didn't have visers in the real world, he had, had head phones. And as for talking I'm guessing that in there time zone that ever one has developed the spearks. Because if you have the right resloution you can tall to some one across the world, Majin Buu and I tryed but it didn't work....So I'm guessing that they talk that way.
