My birthday is coming up, and I was wondering if I should buy the DVD set of Hellsing. My friends say its pretty good, and I've checked it out a little and it seems good. Also, why is was it given a 16 up rating?

lol Perhaps because of language and violence and such.

I would suggest you do get it. It's one of the best animes that I've ever seen, but that may not mean a lot to you. I'd get it if I had the chance.

Is there any adult stuff (besides violence). I'm becoming 14, and my mom doesn't like all the vampire crap.

There's a lot of killing and blood in it. I've only seen up to subbed episode 6 and the one with the two brother vampires had a lot of swearing in it (especially the one brother with the piercings saying the f-word constantly). Great anime, greatly recommended.

I have the rest of the episodes, I should probably get to watching them. :)

Even though its a kinda short series i would still buy it cause its a great anime. I wish they made more episodes

Also Arucard is the craziest main character i have ever seen. He basically takes life as one huge game and just kinda hates everyone that doesnt suit his ways.

Well, after having to delete three consecutive posts, I would just like to remind both ArgoGulski and Pyckelo to please read the rules. One word posts and off-topic posts are against the rules. Posting things like "Thank you" and "I try" are SPAM and were therefore deleted. I hope that you do not make the same mistakes in the future. Thank you. *QA*

I actually just started re-watching Hellsing (I tend to cycle through the anime I own every couple of months) and I think I forgot how much I enjoyed this series. I always found the charecter of Arucard to be facinating and I thought that the premise of the Iscariot foundation, sponsered through the Vatican, was a nifty idea. The series has great music and art and the dubbs are very good...

Recently, I have been recieving several PM's asking whether or not another Hellsing series is being created. I thought I would address the issue here because many of you were interested.

To the best of my knowledge there are no plans on creating or continuing the Hellsing series that have been announced on the Pioneer website or on the Hellsing ( http://www.hellsing.net/ )home page.

Good news for fans of Hellsing music...RUIN, Hellsing OST II will be in stores in September...

Hellsing is a really great anime...Alucard is one of the coolest characters around(In a creepy sorta way :demon: )

The animation and production values are quite good...And the music lends a good subtle scary background atmosphere.

Im glad to see there finally gonna publish the Manga here...I wonder how many differences there are between the anime and manga...hmmm... :therock:

COOL!! I just got it yesterday, and watched it. Very nice indeed. A nice plot, plenty of action, and Seras is just downright hot. My only complaint is it is way too short.
And also, does anyone know where to fnd the lyrics to the opening song?

He is Dracula and another person as well i believe. I think he is also
Hitler cause in the manga they have to fight the Nazi's and for some reason in episode 13 they show his split face of him having a mustache and the hair of Hitler which was sorta creepy
.

First Question: I know no one knows if they will make another series of hellsing, but they left it so wide open.
In the middle of episode 13 they show Alexander Anderson, so if he didn't die i believe that leads to more upcoming episodes in the future to be made.
So i want to know if people agree with this or not.

Second Question: At the end of episode 13 they show a
split face of Alucard on one side of him with his usually face and the other side of him with a mustache and a roundhead haircut type style. In the manga they have Alucard and Hellsing fight the Nazi's so i was just wondering is the half of his face supposed to be Hitler??? Either that or my more reasonable guess is it was the true form of him as Dracula.
Not trying to be prejudice or anything like that, but i really want to know the answer to this one the most.

Third Question: What ever happen to Victoria at the end they just leave it off with her
taking care of Integral (why is her name a calculus term thats weird) and Victoria saying, "Alucard has to win, he's my master."
LoL we never find out what happens to her so what do some people believe happen to her.

Last Question for now: At the very end of episode 13 they have
Alucard break a wine glass then talks with Integral saying, "Integral it is time to choose." Was Alucard asking if she wanted to escape from jail or if she wanted to finally become a Vampire(for some unknown reason).
Well thats it for now.

I heard they are making another season of Hellsing. So stay tuned and see if it is so.
Dracula is supposed to be Vlad the Impaler. That is whom Alucard is since Alucard is Dracula spelled backwards. Vlad is famous for impaling his victims, and is exactly what he did to Incognito.
It is not stated what happened to Victora. However,
it is safe to assume that she is still with Hellsing if it is around and is still Alucard's pupil because she isn't ready to be a vampire on her own and has much to learn from Alucard.

Last Question for now: At the very end of episode 13 they have Alucard break a wine glass then talks with Integral saying, "Integral it is time to choose." Was Alucard asking if she wanted to escape from jail or if she wanted to finally become a Vampire(for some unknown reason).

Integral is fascinated yet disgusted with Vampires. It is apperent in that episode when Alucard was talking about her becoming one i think it was epi 10 or so. So he was asking her if she is ready to become a vampire.
Well thats it for now.

Shinji-Kun i already knew he was
Dracula
but it was pretty weird that he also looked like
Hitler since it gets into that in the manga
.

I think Victoria is still
Alducard's master as well
. I just thought it was pretty funny that they just left her with saying that. They could have maybe left it off with her doing something more interesting. Like i would have thought they might have ended it with her
possibly drinking human blood for the first time
. Oh well i guess i have to see what they do if they make another series.

Alright, I know it looks like you double posted, but I had to merge your Hellsing thread with this one.

*QA*
 I wanted to start that one because i didnt want to have to block the whole entire thing i posted Tori. I can understand if you want it kept in here but now i kinda have to block the whole thing. So i was wondering can make it a separate thread so i dont have to block it???

I can only attempt to awnser the questions about the series because I have yet to read the manga...anyway, here is an attempt

1. As I stated earlier in this thread, I was unable to find any plans or announcements to a second season or series of Hellsing. This doesn't mean it isn't being made, just that nothing has been announced.
2. I think that the split-face was used to depict Arucard as Dracula...I noticed the Alucard/Dracula spelling as well, the only strange thing is that the charecters name is spelled "Arucard" on all of Pioneer's press releases and on my DVD boxes...

3. Arucard is not really Victoria's master anymore, because she drank Arucards blood (on the floor in front of Enigma)...at least that is the impression I got

4. I always thought that Arucard and Integras' relationship was quite interesting. They were both elitists and considered themselves far more noble then ordinary riff-raff. I think that Integra would have only allowed herself to become a vampire out of love for Arucard, she would never has allowed a lesser vampire to taint her noble blood.
Thats a really good point. I wasnt sure if she
drank Alucard/Arucard bloods either when Enigma said "even if you drank all of your masters blood you still wouldnt have enough power to defeat me". I dont even have the slightest idea of what she did at that point but im going to say she didnt since when she was helping Integral she said "My master will win". That right there kinda makes me have the impression that she is still his master.
