It boggles my mind how obvious it is that no one here appreciates simplicity at all. It's like no one knows what to do when they see it, and so it's just "Hmm. It's not good. I can't think of anything wrong, but you know it stinks anyway... so I don't need to really explain. Simple = bad" Okay? I don't see how it's not a wallpaper either. Size makes a wallpaper, not some specific set of rules. Perhaps if she threw 10 Photoshop filters over it, it would be fine.

Sorry to sound like an ***, but that's how this place seems like to me most of the time in general. I'm not basing it solely on what is said on here (and I know for a fact I'm not taking a few of the things said in here the way they were meant), although obviously that's my stepping stone into this. Just making a point.

In any case, I really like it. I actually set it as my background the second I saw it. I finally saw Totoro and I loved it, and I know from past experience that you do as well. I think this is very well done and fitting for the character, despite the low amount of color. It's not the most amazing thing I've ever seen, but I do like it.
