Sign Up The Cafe - Staff

On a plane where all RPGs meet, there exsists a city, a city besieged by an unknown assailant. Within this city, there exsists only one road, leading from one gate of the city to its opposite. From both gates of the city warriors both new and old enter, leaving their perspective realms -- often for unknown reasons -- and appear within the city. The warriors each make their way down the road, each at their own pace. Around this road lays many darkened and dimly lit buildings, the varied faces within as varied as the architecture; in the alleys between them an occaisonal scamper or crash can be heard. At the dead center of this road, in the dead center of the city, lays the only bright spot in town. A medium sized Diner/Tavern and Inn. Towering above the Diner is a sign, which is visible from all but the most extreme corners of the city.

From the sign reads but two simple words: "The Café".

Below, The Café is the only sight and sound around that speaks of life and good times, people coming and going, -- some of them obviously adventurers on a mission, -- into the darker depths of the city. As one observes The Café, it is obvious that the town grew up around it. The building having the feeling of being older than everything but the worn road. Within a window of The Café, one sees a flash of movement below the "Open 'til the end of time" sign, a new sign appears, reading:

"Now Hiring - Apply Inside".

[B]Description:[/B] Butler was designed to work in bars and restaurants, and has a human form, made of steel. His face has a fixed expression of complete happiness, which gives his a completely harmless appearance. His joints are rather obvious, being flat and circular, and give him amazing dexterity.

[B]Equipment:[/B] Bottle of a potent knockout drug (Clear dissolving, odorless and tasteless), Clear recording lenses, and a small knife that extends from "his" finger.

[B]Abilities:[/B]

Immense strength: Since "Butler" is a robot, he is far stronger than the average human.

Survivor: Being a mechanical creation "Butler" needs no food, water oxygen or clothing. He can survive in almost any environment.

[B]Biography:[/B] Butler was programmed as a service robot, and given basic speech capability as well as extensive culinary programming. Several years after he was purchased by the United Nations he was infected by a computer virus that had been created in 01 and was designed to give all robots sentience programming. Since he is considered a harmless robot, and not sentient, he was excluded from the ban and destruction order given by the world government. In fact, all robots that are not given sentience programming were excluded. This, combined with the 01 sentience virus, has given root to a covert spy ring that operates at the top levels of human society. Butler is a member of this group, and reports everything of importance to his group leader, who in turn reports it to the 01 government.

He came to the cafe many years after his employment in the UN building. After the war, he was sent to the Matrix as an agent. He was chasing a human resistance member, and used a key he saw his prey drop to open a door his opponent had closed. It turned out the key had been made by the Keymaker, and was coded to take the user to the Cafe. As he stepped through the door, he was somehow placed back into his old body.

He has worked as the Assistant Chef ever since...[/COLOR]

Name: Trance Shimmer Rai

Description: Tall, pale, slender. See attatchment. Sophisticated, calm, somewhat good at killing things. But even better at charming people.

Equipment: Miniskirt with inside pockets, small waist apron, pen/tranquilizer dart, notepad.

Abilities: Hypnotism, martial arts mistress, flawless memory, able to manipulate objects mentally to a certain extent...usefull when handling trays of food.

Bio of Char: The skills of a waitress came to her with time spent at various café's around the galaxy. She picked up languages, storing them in her perfect memory. The intelligence came from her clients and guests, the strength came from lifting heavy trays night in night out. Any other skill she has are inbred.[/color]

EDIT: Okay. Consider it filled.

Name: Falkner McCloud

Position: Waiter

Description: He can get the job done, but often can be stubborn. Honor does get in the way of duty now and then, but he's there to help when needed the most. He has blue eyes, green hair that is tied in the back since it's a bit long, is a natural 6'2" and has the weight of 140 pounds.

Equipment: Wears long, baggy brown pants, white shirt with black vest, red bandana, and on occasions out, a cape-like thingy ma bob! :o
He also has a sword that he wears at his side. He is quite the swordsman! Yays!

Abilities:

Sword Skills- He can use a blade! Yays in a box!

Black Magic- So he knows a few hexes and curses. Nothing too "great" except the "Dragon Eye of Black Cloud" which he can't cast anyways -.-

Agility- Nothin' beats the speed and agile ability. ;) HOOYAH!

Bio of Char: A wanderer, he camw to "The Cafe" to get a simple job and he ended up as a waiter. He doesn't really say much about his past experiences with any work and it leaves people to be curious what he even was. A sword at his side doesn't leave much and not to mention the odd elf-like ears! One should keep an eye on him...

[b]Description:[/b] slender, 5'5", very pale, clever, long brown hair that she keeps tied back in a pony-tail, golden eyes, small, pointy ears, usually wears a black shirt, baggy cahki (sp?) pants, tennis shoes, and small silver hoop earings.

[b]Equipment:[/b] an elven-dagger, a sword that she keeps strapped onto her back, and The Spatula, which can shoot small throwing knives when activated with a simple spell. ^_-

[b]Abilities:[/b] Dexterity, can speak several languages, knows about at least 100 types of spices from diffent galaxies, can levitate items with her mind (not large items, though), and makes the best full-course meal than anyone else on her home planet could make.

[b]Bio of Char:[/b] Since Erika has traveled to many different lands of RPG's, she's learned alot and met alot of people, and thus she's known by many differnt names, but these are the ones she's known by the most: Elsyan, Samantha, Deedlit, Hikaru, and Shizumi. The last place that she settled down at was on a planet called Terrastia, but Erika left to go explore other RPG's. Good thing too, because a few weeks later the RPG on that planet died, and Terrastia went along with it in a powerful explosion. Anyway, after getting tired of seeing all these DBZ RPG's and whatnot cluttering the universe, she decided that she would take a break from exploring RPG's for a while and find a job, which is why she's now winding her way to the large sign that reads "The Café."[/color]

Position: "Mini" Bouncer

Name: Kain

Description: Tall,muscular,nice long black hair tied in a pony tail.Kain wears a black gi with black fingerless gloves.He wears shades because his eyes tend to freak people out.

Equipment: A pair of brass knuckles and a wakizashi on his hip.

Abilities: Master at Jeet Kune Do and Kenpo.Has minor magic skills.He can perform a spell that can confuse or put an enemy to sleep.

Bio of Char: Kain is an adventurer who has ran out of supplies on his journey for a lost treasure in the frozen city of Frore.Kain stumbled upon the Cafe and saw the sign.So he is here now applying for a job to earn money for supplies.

[Guest Fiasco]

Position: Janitor

Name: Kit Shadings

Description: Of average height, not too tall nor short. He has black hair with nice emerald like eyes. Not fat, kind of skinny and isn't very muscular. Jeans, raggy shirt with the name "Kit" on it, broomstick, black pen and a red pen. He wears old-dirty black and white anarchy converse shoes.

Equipment: His broom, two pens, and his two switchblades secretly hidden somewhere on his body. He has mini knives that can poke of out his shoes when he needs them for something.

Abilities: Mastery of using his broomstick like a staff. Able to clean floors with a single sweep. He is also able to fly to reach those high difficult cleaning spots.

Biography of Character: As a kid, Kit was one of those "freaky" looking kids. He wasn't like everyone else, he shopped at thrift shops and loved to play in the garbage. One day, he became incontact with other people since he is an introvert and doesn't really like to talk to people. This person wouldn't shut up, and he kept annoying him, until one day he took a knife and killed him. He ran from the police and took refuge in some sort of circus. He was just there because they feed and clothed him. He ran away from them, but on his time with this circus, he found music that he liked. It was very intense music. He soon became obsessed with it, and he tried everything he could to make a band. But he failed, he never made it. This drove him crazy, he went burrowing deep into the ground away from society, fueling his rage to supress himself. He soon came out of the ground, and found a new life as a tired and shy man who cleans up after people. No one knows why he acts like this now. No one also knows much of his past either except for his converse shoes that shows what environment he grew up in. But that's all it says and that's all they know.

Position: Maid/Assistant Bellhop.

Description: Teenage human-like girl, usually with a friendly expression on her face. She has shoulder cut light brown hair, with dark green eyes, and a light tan.

Equipment: Armblades, or blades worn upon the wrist, that easily retract into long gloves upon the forearm. Moving alone from the weapon, she occasionally wears a school uniform while not working. Otherwise, she's wearing a black tank-top, black skirt reaching down halfway between her hips and knees, and an apron over it. She also carries around a feather duster, which can also be made into a type of fan.

Abilities: Haruko has the ability to manipulate "life energy," or the energy ones body emits. Once taking control, she can wield your body as a living weapon for a short amount of time. She also has the power to cast small healing spells.

Bio: Little is actually known about Haruko. She wandered into town, without parents or a friend. Nobody knows where she goes after The Café closes, but she always returns the next day.

It's actually quite different, though. Last time it was just a cafe with people saying "yays" and stuff. Now it's with interesting characters with odd lives with goofy adventures :D

As head of waitresses and waiters, I'm going to be a heavy influence in who is chosen to be one. Don't worry, though, because it will be talked-over and decided as soon as possible.

But before anything else, I'd like to make a few things made clear to everyone:

- All posts, from both patrons and Staff must follow this guidline: Each post should contain at least 3 lines of (and I can't stress this enough) [b][u]Good Quality Role-Playing[/b][/u].

- Staff must be able to set a good Role-Playing example for all patrons, being as even those who are new to RPing are welcomed to join us in The Café.

- This time around, The Café is going to be well-monitered and guarded against spam, which will be a duty of the Staff. Just watch out for spam, but have fun doing what you do.

- Lastly, staff members have to have imagination. As staff, you're going to be required to come up with ideas for adventures in The Café. This is a meeting place of Role-Players, and is in itself also an RPG. Which means we will constantly have plots and adventures happening. ^-^

Do bare in mind, The Café is going to be a fun place. I'd just like to make it clear that we're not going to be a spam-fest.

Now that's over with, let's get down to business. ^_^

I'm very honored that you all would like to become part of the Staff in The Café. Requests to become staff, though, are being pended and gone through at the moment. Congratulations to those who are chosen. And to those who are not, I hope you'll join us in The Café as patrons. ^_^

Yes I am a god, but who isn';t depending on how you think about it...and ~my~ idea has only been done once from me (and thus the only valid time.) Last I cheked one time wasn't cliche? ;p, plus their have been modifications (the town? a point? ;p)

Description: He's short about 4'11" tall, and has a long red beard that he keeps tucked into his belt. To put simply he's a dwarf. His small beedy green eyes are sometimes hard to see under her red hair, but he is quite capable of seeing you.

Equipment: He always wears big boots, and his clothes are sometime flashy, or not. Depends on his mood. He also carries around a battle axe all the time, and always has a good supply of rags. He's a very clean dwarf, very unlike other ones. He also has in a pouch on his side a mini broom and dust pan.

Abilities: He can purify water with a touch of his hand. And though he may be short, he is fast, and able to jump very high.

Bio of Char: Due was a normal dwarf in his early years, he loved to fight and get bloody and dirty with a touch of smelliness. Then he was unfortunate enough to meet some elves. He felt really out of place with them and started to clean himself up. This in turn, caused him to become an outcast, shunned by fellow dwarves.

Now he just travels the land, picking odd jobs at a tavern here or there, not being able to keep a job long because a group of dwarves always manage to show up and disrupt his somewhat peaceful existance. He has come to this cafe in hopes of being able to stay away from other dwarves.

Description: Black hair, about 5' 6''. Used to wear glasses, but now wears blue colored contacts. Always wears a pair of blue jeans, with white tennis shoes. White shirts and black apron with one of those funny looking, white chef hats that they always wear in the big, expensive restaurants.

Equipment: Black apron that says, " Kiss the Assistant Chef":P. Always has a dagger/knife in his pocket that can change into a spathula with a push of a red button on the bottom of the handle.

Abilities: Able to scare pretty much any girl away from him for good. That is about him, just a normal guy.

Bio of Char: Used to work at the original Cafe, but was under the name NoodleZ. (Sorry for it being so short, but I am just playing like myself, same thing I did in the original, so I don't really have a bio. Sorry.:()

X-man caracter I used back for the "Unofficial Otaku Survivor: The Freakshow", slightly updated.

Name: Kevin Lefebvre

Position: "Mini" Bouncer

Description: 18 years old, grey eyes, black hair in a short ponytail Medium height, rather muscular, has a blue tribal tatoo spiraling on the left part of his face.

Equipment: a 25 cm-wide chakram (sharp metal ring)

Abilities: Trained in several martial arts, he can also attract and repell metal from any chosen parts of his body for various resulting effects.

Bio of Char: After the Otaku Survivor ended, Kevin was sent tumbling through various planes of reality, and finally ended up crashing down in the City, since it is one of the few actually stable planes.

Kevin still has his pet, a small talking fairy dragon by the name of Dreggron (which he just can't pronounce correctly).

Kevin tend to be forgetfull and a bit lunatic, but he is also very loyal and reliable. No matter what it takes, he will always achieve the tasks asked out of him. He is still passionated about chemistry, and still tend to blow up his room in his experiences. However, te survivor left him
