Teknomanfan
i think that hamtaro sucks and i don't know if some of you noticed but in the russian worldchampionship is a mistake. when they show where the stadium is situated in Russia, they color Finland as a part from Russia wich is an obvious mistake
Tix
Originally posted by Metatron WW2, remember that Bey Blade is the same as Yu-Gi-Oh or Pokemon.... its just some series created to advertise a product... in this case, Bey Blade... And playing with tops in Japan is deep rooted... kids used to battle with tops as a gamble(u win, u get the opponent's top) and it also set up something like a "hierarchy" within the kids society. But the show brings the little top battling a little overboard....
well if its like this then every single anime is created to advertise products...look at all those figurines, t-shirts and kind of stuff with Gundam, Akira and other animes on it... G.D. Ryoko
I love Beyblade and Hamtaro. Beyblade vforce starts saturday in N.Y.C. and Hamtaro, I haven`t seen in a while. I loved it though when it first came out. My favorite ham ham was Sandy. As for beyblade I missed quite a few episodes but I saw the world championships. I loved Tala`s bitbeast. I can`t wait to saturday.
Tix
well I already saw the 4 first episodes of the vortex series and tomorrow is hamataro special on YTV...
OtakuSennen
Ugh.. Hamtaro and Beyblade. I am REALLY not fond of them.. The character design for Beyblade is sorta tweaked.. X_X Their cheeks are so large... But which came first: The tops or the anime? This show, as stated before, just takes the top-battle stuff too far.. Why would people actually hold a tournament that people go an see with nothing but children spinning plastic toys..? It doesn't make sense. And Hamtaro is just.. Eeeg.. I can understand why people can buy into the cute hamsters and silly plushies and such... But I am definitely not into this kind of anime. Give Hamtaro a blood-red headband and an AK-47, give Boss a potty mouth and have some deep thought-provoking character developement and I'll feel better about it.. It's an OK show, but it's just not for me.
ilikepie
Beyblade...Fun tops bad anime. I really don't see why this was even made into an anime in the first place. Battling tops just does not seem like an interesting concept for an anime. I own about 6 beyblades myslef and playing with them is fun I must admit:excited: Hamtaro is reallly a cute anime that i'd watch for a few episodes but I would never buy it. I also dont see it as having much of a plot, but those hamsters are just so cute! :D
Radical Ed
i like watching beyblade and hamtaro! but beyblade is kinda weird *spiny tops of doom* i still like it and i watch a little hamtaro there ok to watch. *starts to wish she had a beyblade*
silpheedpilot
Well...For my age I SHOULDN'T be watching either...But Its Anime and I cant help myself..So I checked out Hamtaro..At first I thought it was pretty slick, little Hamsters doing fun stuff, I watched it a little more often...Then it just went downhill from there. As for Beyblade, I was up early one morninf waiting to go to work and get fired the same day...Ironic..So I was flipping through the channels. I saw that Beyblade was on, I watch through it and I must admit, watching an Anime with puffy cheek children get all worked up over little toys is quite amusing. So I began to watch it even more, then I saw the whole series and stopped. Then I heard about some Vforce thing..and I thought it had gon over board. So basically...I'm not too fond of either of them anymore.
SuperSJ3
I've seen Hamtaro and I don't like it at all. A bunch of hamster runing around. Beyblade is better than Hamtaro. Beyblade is kinda out there with all the bit beast and everything, but it's ok.
Tix
Well I like watcbing Hamtaro and Beyblade because like SilpheedPilot said, it's Anime and I love anime. And as for the fat-cheeked boy in beyblades it's just the style of the artist that draw Tyson and in Vortex series they don't have fat cheeks anymore so... eleanor
AUGH! ::goes insane:: How can you people sit through an episode of Hamtaro and not fall asleep? Yeah, the hamsters are cute and the girls have heads twice their size, but it bores me to death.

eleanor
Yeah...it is. :toothy: But I definately think Hamtaro lacks a certain...thing...that makes me like other anime a lot. The plots aren't so great, and it's just pretty boring to me.
Hinata
Originally posted by Tix vicky have you seen even the vforce series?...
The V force series is already out for you..Lucky..I think it premieres tomorrow in my area. But Beyblade and hamtaro are both pretty cool in my book. I can't complain about either of them. Hamtaro is just a little silly if you like that sorta thing but it also has heart. Beyblade is jut kinda a good versus evil thing but uses beyblading as a way to fight instead of your hands. But overall it has a great storyline. Kinda remindsme of Yugioh!!! eleanor
The American version completely sucks compared to the Japanese version, really. I think they butchered it while dubbing...
Zen
Well, heres the deal. Hamtaro was probably aimed towards girls around the ages of 4-9. Beyblade was probably meant to push the toys and was created for boys around the ages of 5-11. Thast my thoughts and i hate both of the animes. thats not bashing, i just dislike both of them. *Aura*
well, they are both really kiddy though. Hamtaru is even a lot more kidish then Beyblade is. I haven't seen the second season yet so i couldn't say anything on that, but on the otherhand Beyblade is alright not the best thing though. If ya compare it to Hamtaro thats just sad cause Hamtaro is more along the lines of anybody could watch it, which makes it not even worth watching cause those types of show end up being really stupid to ppl that are older. l8ta.pz out.
