Corey
With the summer season upon us, there comes another, less enjoyable portion that we must endure. Bugs. Insects. Creepy Crawlers. Whatever you want to call them, they're annoying as hell. I have a good ten mosquito bite on me. I had to have a Wood Tick take out of my leg earlier today. And I will, most likely, get several more insect related injuries over the summer. This thread has been made for people to vent their frustration about the many, many bugs out there. *swat*

Biida
Bugs. Ugh. Don't get me started. >.> I live right next to a river that's a very popular breeding ground for mosquitoes and the likes. So whenever I leave the house any time past 7pm, I get eaten alive. Another thing, is the ANTS!! Again, being as I live near the river, the ants run to higher ground during the spring and summer. Unfortunately, their going to higher ground usually means going right through our house. ~.~;;; And in conclusion, at the request of my little brother, I leave you with a quote: "No, guy. What's really annoying is when bugs fly into your nose, and when you blow your nose, you have bugs in your boogers. - Cal, from Undergrads
Dragon Fou Lu
the only bugs i really hate are bees or wasps, then again when i was in greece i woke up to find that i had about 20 small bites on one elbow :(
Japan
I hate them!!!!!!!!!! They are so annoying and pesky. I have several mosquito bites, though I am trying hard to avoid them>>West Nile. I also don't like them ligh bugs. You know, the bugs that get attracted t bright light. Well, I like to stay up late watching t.v., on computer or read, they always are around the light. I hate it. They are zooming around the computer screen now as I write this. Oh how I hate them!
Fall
It's winter here, and the bugs and insects are still around. Down the road the wattle trees are already out, usually they're out in summer. Stupid kind of season we got going. Flies are still hanging around like it's going out of fashion, and the beetles are still out after dark. It's like a mix of winter, summer, spring and autumn all in one. It's just about impossible trying to walk down to river in the afternoon at the moment, unless you can endure a heap of flies buzzing 'round your face, and there's also a few mosquitos about. Flying ants always swarm when it's wet and humid- they're hanging around when it's hot and dry. Aeroguard is still in use even though the shops stopped selling them after summer. This place is messed.
Guest Taylor Hewitt
Don't get me started on this topic. I am like a gigantic piece of white meat for bugs. I wear "off" but sometimes it pisses me off like when I'm trying to play catch with my dad (yes that happens in the real world) and I am sucky at catch when they are distracting me (well not catch but throwing a baseball and catching it in a glove). You get the point. Spiders are a problem here in ottawa kind of. I killed two yesterday. One was as big as my hand (spread its legs out). A daddy long legs I think. Another one I washed down the sink. It climbed up and ate me in my sleep.
eleanor
There's a creek in front of my house, and it's the breeding ground of ten million mosquitos. I HATE mosquitos. And we always get these big, long, centipede-y things that are...ARGH! O_o;;
Guest Taylor Hewitt
Well I guess I'm lucky to be living on a normal street with no homes to for bugs. But at my aunt's house we have lots of ants. It's not a joke. We had to buy some traps lol. I think and hope they worked!
Shinmaru
We've got giant ant problems here, but it's not as bad as usual this summer. Usually, we have to spray everywhere, because the ants seem to like coming into our house and staying for the summer. Apparently, they finally got the picture, heh. Trumen
Well, I love bugs but I have problems with black widows. Reason being there are harder to do test on in the lab. Also, tarantulas are kind of hard to deal with. On the otherhand misquitos are quite annoying unless they are under a microscrope.lol

Then roll it across the back of those little centipede things. You know what it does? Kills them. But. You should see it. It doesn't kill them any ordinary way.. like they just drop dead. No. They roll up into little balls. Then they turn inside out. Then they squirm. Then. They die. Mad. ..in case you're wondering, we have those things around here too. Corey
*looks to maladjusted and Fall* Are those things called Silverfish? We have them too. Well last night I got violently sick. Headache. Muscle aching. Nausea. And a stuffed-up nose. For about an hour I was toying with the possibility I might have West Nile. Then I decided that it was just a sickness. My dad said he had it too. I got worried because the day before I got swarmed by mosquitos while waiting for my ride.
Guest Taylor Hewitt
Whoa west nile virus. That's very serious. Once my grandmother was driving in around the parking lot in Dominion (super market) and she saw a mosquito in her car and she was so scared she let go of the steering wheel and crashed into another car. True story. Best wishes to all but you damn bugs Taylor Hewitt
Trumen
I was a little worried of West Nile until I came up with a personal repellant. Though it is a simple one it works extremely well.

Kesaki_Inedia
I'll tell you the worst lil' boogers in the world. Spiders! I swear they have a conspericy against me! They hide around the computer and then when I least expect it they jump out and...Ahhh. I used to be so scared of the lil' boogers I couldn't even kill them. But now...Muhahaha. Razzamataz
hmm...hearing about Kesaki's issue's with spiders I highly doubt s/he wou survive where I live...I live in Northern Californa, and we had a VERY wet winter...which means we have more spiders than you can shake a multi-pronged stick. I swear over the past 3 days I've given the "shoe treatment" to about 4 Black Widdows(sp?), 10-15 of those little jumping spider things, a few spider that I'm not sure what they are(the're about 1/2 an inch long and white with green goo inside), and one spider about the size of my thumb...I'd be more than happy to never see that one again...it was brown and made a popping noise when I smashed it...and you could hear the "pop!"...and don't get me started on the mosquitos, gnats, wasps, flies, and other random insects...curse El Nino(even if it isn't respossible for this still curse it)
KittyLynn
"OFF" Pffffft. Bug Spray doesn't work, if anything it makes more bugs come closer. And you know what really really annoys me? When I'm wearing my bikini and there are scars from the mosquitoe bits on my stomach...-_-;; Its quite nasty. Anywho, Bugs are something I could live without. But they are a stupid part of life...>.>;; -Kitten
Heaven's Cloud
Although I hate the swarms of misqutoes that plague summer nights, they don't bother me nearly as much as those friggin house dwelling insects. I am glad that the only insect species I have had to eradicate in my new house are the army of ants that tend to march in. As soon as I see a beetle, roach, or silverfish in my house I'll freak out for several hours. It seems as though after I murder one of those disgusting creatures hundreds of their dead, ghostly cousins haunt me...making me feel like insects are constantly crawling on my body. Stupid phantom insects...
Kesaki_Inedia
Thinks about where Razzamatazz lives then shudders. I feel so sorry for you. People would have to drag me to the nut house afterr a stay at your house.
Kwai
Until I discovered my cat had a personal taste for bugs, I relied mostly upon bug spray to kill be it flies, mosquitos, ants, w/e... If any, I seemed to be mutating them or evolving them... The first time it worked, the second they squirmed but they didn't die, the third had no effect whatsoever... Luckily for me, I discovered my cat licking up ants and swatting down flies so we have a nice partnership in which she gets food and we get no bugs. (That is, unless the bugs mutate/evolve into something that can take down my cat....)

Na'dou
I know spiders aren't bugs, but I still hate them. I mean if they're outside, I have no problem with them, but when they get into your house it's just...Ooooo! And don't get me started on cock roaches...Mosquitoes....I hate all bugs except for Lady bugs, caterpillars, and butterflies. They're okay with me.......
