I just noticed how lonely it is right now. It was like this the other day as well. Do you people have... jobs or something? Can't you visit the forums on your computer at work? It's not games or porn so I see nothing wrong with it if you are bored :p. That's beside the point. This forum should have the same amount of people on now then say... later. There are all the different time zones. I don't count, I'm always on. Anyway that's just something to think about.

Yeah, some people on here do have jobs and since some people are in different time zones they sleep during this time. Another because stay on all night they don't wake up until late. Others can only have the computer for a certain amount of time a day or week so aren't on when their time is up.

Oh god don't remind me. That pisses me off I get about 4 hours a day right now and my dad wants me to have it all at once (5 hours) because im learning dreamweaver. If i had it my way i would spread it out and take breaks.

Mostly it's work, but I think it also has to do with time zones. I'm in the Eastern one, so people in the pacific seem nocturnal to me. For me, I'm only online when I'm not doing anything else, which, unfortunately, is most of the time during the summer. I guess there's also people like me who aren't on OB, but just on their regular websites. Personally, that would be Penny Arcade, Kongming's Archives, Crab-Ball :D, and CQN.

Well, most people have lives and aren't on OB all day. Some people just don't stay on OB like you...no offense, but there is really nothing you can do

The reason why I'm on alot is because I'm 13, am home without parents for half the day babysitting 2 little children and until 12:00-1:00pm I can't play cs or do anything really. So I spend my time here - which is really fun I must admit! So many friendly people!!!

I have a job for about 30 hours a week and I go to school full time as well. Both places I can't get on the net.

So yeah....

There's always someone on cause there's people here from all over... the three biggest places I know of are the UK, the US, and Aussie-ville... the UK is 5 hours ahead of the US and Aussie-ville is like... 12 hours ahead of the US lol...

As it says in my siggy, for the next week and a half (that was few days ago when I wrote the line in my siggy), I have 24 hours limitless, fast and most importantly [i]free[/i] internet-connection, so for now I visit here every few hours. It's because currently I'm at my sister's to take care of her three cats while she and her fiance are on a vacation.

I really have no idea what time it is there in US, but it's now 10PM (or rather, 22 o'clock), here in Eastern Europe time zone. What genius made those up, anyway... It would be much more fun if everybody had the same time, like somewhere the midnight would be in the evening. Te he, funny... :toothy:

I online a lot only because I am bored, have no job, and I am not allowed out of the house all day. So I have nothing better to do.

Some people have jobs, not allowed to be online 24/7 like you, and some are in summer school/summer quarter for college

If you still live with your parents I wouldn't get a big job maybe a weekend thing and u can still learn in the week and go on OB alot.

This thread is really all over the place and I don't see a reason to keep it open. It's not serving any purpose that I'm aware of.

It's obvious that the site's services are provided for recreational purposes. No one (including our staff) are obligated to visit the forums 24/7. People have lives off the Internet that entail responsibility and commitment. And of course, it's only healthy to get out sometimes and interact with others on a daily basis. It's called "Living in reality."

Once you grow older you'll see that you [i]have[/i] to leave the computer sometimes. lol

It's unreasonable to believe that everyone should reside on OtakuBoards at every moment of every day. Especially considering that we have members from various parts of the world whose time zones vary substantially. So, if anything, I think you can visit the various "How much time do you spend on OtakuBoards" threads if you want to know who visits frequently and for how long.
