Rei took out his blaster gun, and begin to fire it at the shadowy figure as quick as possible. The figure moved out of the way.
It looked as if he were getting something from under his cloak.
It came out that he took out 2 swords.
[b]Rei:[/b] Thats him, alright!
[b]Roy:[/b] Then,...who was the guy in the van??
[b]Rei:[/b] Who really cares, we've got enough trouble on our hands already!
Everyone drew their weapons.
[b]Rei:[/b] Hey trent, as much as you want to fight, i dont think you can in that condition!
[/color]

Trent pulled his Laser pistol out of his coat.
[B]Trent:[/B]I'm working myself into Space!
Trent began running towards the Church.

[B]Rei:[/B]TRENT!

Trent runs up to the door and kicks it in. He peers around the Empty Church. The benches thrown about and The Cross hun lop sided. Trent walked to the front of the Church, where the podeium is. Trent looked to his left and saw a staircase. He walked to the base of the stairs and pointed his gun to the top. Not seeing anything he walks up the stair, his Pistol trained ahead of him.

[B]Eris:[/B] What is he doing?!
[B]Roy:[/B]Seems as though he getting to the top of the Church to catch the Assassin off guard!
[B]Rei:[/B]Thats suicide!

Eris looked down.[I]TRENT! Dont be reckless![/I] She thought.

Trent got to the top of the stairs and put his back to the wall, and peered out the door, seeing the Assassin crouched down. The groups Laser fire blasting overhead. Trent jumps out his Pistol trained on the Assassin.

[B]Trent:[/B] Freeze!
[B]Assassin:[/B] Hm?!

The Assassin looks into Trents eyes, and charges foward, his Swords ready for attack. Trent dives to the side firing at the Assassin.
The Assassin pulls his Swords up and the Lasers just bouce off in different directions. The Assassin jumps at Trent and thusts his Sword into his wounded shoulder.

[B]Trent:[/B] AUGHHH!!!
[B]Assassin:[/B]It hurts, I know. You're not on my list of people to kill. I'm letting you go. We'll fight again, when you're healed!

The Assassin picked Trent up and swings his Sword, tossing Trent down the slope of the Church roof.

[B]Rei:[/B] Stop firing! Look!

Rei points to the Church roof.

Trent slides down the Church roof and grabs onto the edge of its gutter. Warm blood slides down his arm, dripping into the bushes below. The gutter's bolts pop looses and it collapes under Trents weight. Trent tumbles to the bushes below.

[B]Roy:[/B] He fell!

They all ran to the church.
[b]Erin:[/b] Trent!:(
Rei kneeled down looking at trent.
[b]Rei:[/b] I told you not to do that kind of stuff...were a team! And we have to work as ONE.
He sighed and looked down.
[b]Rei:[/b] You could have been killed...then again, that was awesome old pal.
Trent managed to give a small smile.[/color]

[Lord Prozen]

[b]Roy[/b] where did he go?
[b]Trent[/b] i dont know...
[b]Rei[/b] DANG, he got away!
[b]vince[/b] well anybody know where he might be?
[b]rei[/b] nope
[b]Roy[/b] ok i got a plan. me vince and Irvine will go around asking to see if anyone knows where this guy is. Rei and Eris will go back to the hide out and put trent there
[b]Rei[/b] ok then Eris will stay with trent and i will meet you guys in down town kings street.
[b]Irvine[/b] ok lets go!

[Squall]

The two teams sped off and Roy immediately went the nearest people to ask about the figure. Vince grabbed his arm and sped off.
Roy: what are you doing?
Vince: This guy hasn't been killing as randomly as I first guessed. All his victoms have been sorted into three main estates about three blocks from here. My guess is thats where he's headed
Ivrene: Why didn't you say anything before?
Vince: I didn't want to ruin the suprise.

They sped off, catching small glimpses of the figure in head of them. They came to a steep hill where the figure had jumped off. They skidded down the hill as something small was thrown towards them.
Vince: EVERYBODY DOWN!
They jumped to the sides and the small object exploded on impact. Vince tumbled down to the bottom and continued running.
Vince: Damn! He knows we're following him! Now he could be headed anywhere!
They continued the chase, only going on the small glimpses they got.

As Trent was being helped up and onto Rei and Eris's shoulders he was looking down. Ashamed of his actions.

[B]Trent:[/B]I'm sorry. I shouldn't have acted so recklessly.
[B]Eris:[/B] No no...dont talk like that.

Eris let off a fake cheecky smile.

[B]Rei:[/B]Its alright, we'll get him. You'll rest. You've had quite a night.
[B]Trent:[/B]Alright...

[Galvatron]

As the group was fallowing the assassin, Jericho was at the base because he found away to talk out of going on the mission and he was getting bored.
Jericho: Im bored im going to look for the group.
Jericho started to walk towards his rx-78 speeder cycle ( futristic motorcycle) and started too look for the group. He drove down the rich district not seeing any of the group, so Jericho continued on . Jericho was about three blocks down under the bridge across from a steep hill.
Jericho: What in outer space was that explosion , it looks like Vince over their. If I keep going I can catch them on long Kings street i'll try to cut that assassin punk off with the speeder cycle.

Jericho pulls out his twin dule laser pistols and is waiting for the assassin to come by,

Being lugged around on Rei's and Eris's shoulders didn't help matters. Trent wants them to be helping the group, not taking care of his pitiful butt. Trent pulls away from Rei and Eris's graps and turns around facing them.

[B]Trent:[/B] You two...go on ahead. Go get that Assassin. I can get to the hideout on my own.
[B]Rei:[/B] No way! You're badly injured!
[B]Trent:[/B]Just go!

Eris began tugging at Rei.

[B]Eris:[/B]C'mon..Lets go..

Rei and Eris dart of in the direction the others went to get the Assassin. Trent walks a ways, and leans against a wall grasping his shoulder in pain. He slides down the wall to a sit. He sits for a while before standing up and walking again, his shoulder sliding aganst the wall, leaving a long trail of blood behind him. After slowly walking he reaches the Hideout and trudges inside. He glances around thinking to himself. [I]I thought Roy left the lights on[/I]
Trent was suddenly grabbed from behind and pulled into a chair, and tied up. A masked man flipped on the over hanging light, blinding Trent. Trent squinted against the light, trying to adjust his eyesight. A masked Ninja came into his view.

[B]Ninja:[/B]You actually think you can kill OUR Assassin!?

The Ninja backhands Trent. Trent reels back and blood flys from his mouth.

[B]Trent:[/B]If...you think...I'm telling you where my friends are..you're sadly mistaken!
[B]Ninja:[/B]We know where they are. We want to know WHY you're after our Assassin!
[B]Trent:[/B]I'll never tell!

The Ninja paces back and forth, rubbing his Laser Katana at his side.

[B]Ninja:[/B]*pointing to the door* Guards! Watch the door! Anyone you dont know comes in, kill on sight! *looking back down at Trent* We have quite a problem here Trent. You see...you are now our Hostage....

[T man]

"Hey is that jericho up ahead" irvine asked. "Ya it's him. nice to see that he caught up with us" vince said as they were running after the assain. The assassin threw another bomb at them. Irvine pulled out his gun and shot the bomb before it could come any closer. The explosion nocked the assassin down but he quickley got up. "Well that slowed him down" roy said. Well if we can't catch him maybe jericho can because he's alot closer to the assassin than we are"irvine said as he shot another bomb that was thrown at them.

[silpheedpilot]

Trent grumbles at the Ninja.

[B]Trent:[/B]You forget! My friends are after your Assassin right now!
[B]Ninja:[/B]That is not a problem. The news has not yet found out...we have more then one Assassin out there. How do you think there has been so many Murders? Hm...Exactly.
[B]Trent:[/B]You'll neve get away with this! We'll kill your Assassin and then go after the rest!
[B]Ninja:[/B]Oh no no..You are ver VERY mistaken, Trent! We are an Organiziation that is ridding the City of Rich People..FOREVER! We will take this money and use it to rule this world!

Trent begins laughing hysterically.

[B]Trent:[/B] You're insane! You're like a Comic Book Villain! You want to rule the world?! Hahaha!

The Ninja walks up to Trent and punches his wounded shoulder.
Trent yells out in pain.

[B]Ninja:[/B] You watch! We will rule...

[Lord Prozen]

Roy: stop him jericho!

jericho: Im trying!!*keeps shooting at him but missing*

then the assasin threw a bomb and jericho.

jerich:GHA!!

it blew is bike up and the assasin got away

irvine: you let him get away!

jerich: you think i ment to!!

Roy: stop fighting you guys, its not helping!!

[Galvatron]

" Thats it im going to catch the son of bi%$!" Jericho said. Jericho ran at full speed and pulled out one of duel pistols and began to fire behind the assassin each shot missed. The assassin stoped and turned just enough to thrown a bomb, Jericho dove to the ground and fired a shot from his duel pistol, he it the the assassin behind the knee. " Thats right fall to the ground!" Jericho said very cocky, Jericho was getting back up from the dive but fall back down as that thrown bomb fell behind him. Jericho yelled at the group behind him " Don't worry about me restrain that assassin."

The group then heard footsteps behind them.
[b]Rei:[/b] There you guys are!
He said panting.
[b]Eris:[/b] Where's the assasin guy?
[b]Jericho:[/b] Over there,... ahead.
Rei drew his blaster gun and shot 4 times.
The assasin blocked all of them with his sword. He then got out another bomb. This time when he threw it, smoke came out.
[b]Roy:[/b] Its'a smoke bomb!
The smoke blurred the groups vision.
[b]Rei:[/b] Dang that coward, he's gonna run away!! While we cant see!
The smoke cleared, and the assasin wasnt anywhere in sight.
[b]Assasin:[/b] Behind...you
They heard a cold voice behind them.
The assasin was next to 4 ninja's. One of the ninja's had a sword placed right against Trents neck.
[b]Ninja 1:[/b] Shoot, and the boy die's...
[b]Eris:[/b] [i]TrEnT!![/i]
[b]Rei:[/b] Put down your guns!
Rei said un-evenly
[b]Rei:[/b] We have no other choice...
[/color]

[Galvatron]

" Come on Mr.Assassin and ninja friends you don't really wan't to take Trent hostage do you. What has he ever done to you guys, im sure we can work something out." Jericho said as he tried to fast talk a way out of this situation . " You shut up or i'll slit him a nice one." demanded the assassin. " Fine i'll shut up ." Jericho said unhappy.

[Avalon]

Eris looked at the Ninja's sword and then at Trent, [i]I knew we shouldn't have left him![/i] she thought, eyeing the blade. [i]And now look at us.[/i] She looked over at the ninjas.

"Ha," one of them begun, "No wonder you're weak...you have a girl on your team." The ninja group laughed.

"Hey little lady, aren't you supposed to be in the kitchen baking some cookies?"

Another ninja spoke, "How about I let you do my laundry?"

"Hey boss," a rather tall ninja asked, "How bout we get rid of him and take her? I wouldn't mind having her to myself." That did it. Eris starting shaking incontrollably. The group, along with Trent, forgot something...her bag was occupied with a laptop...and homemade explosives.

And she was about to do something drastic--something that could possibly kill her. She looked at Trent, then the bag, and then at him again. He shook his head 'no'...he got her message.

Well if he didn't want her to do that, he would surely regret what she was about to do. She looked at the group...she knew what she would have to do.

Eris put on one of her sultry smiles for the ninjas, looking at the one who had the blade at Trent's neck. "You know, I wouldn't mind having one of you strong ninjas as a boyfriend...maybe more." she winked at the one that suggested the trade-in. Stepping up to him, she tucked her hair behind her ears.

"What are you doing, Eris?" Rei asked. She simply swatted her hand behind her, smirking at the ninja. "How about I make you a deal, love." she spoke, trailing her hand across his shoulders.

The ninja leaned in, "And what is that, little lady?"

"Well, since my friends here are so [i]weak[/i], especially that boy there," she replied, pointing to Trent. "How about we do that switch-off thing?" The ninjas looked at each other, then to the assassin.

He looked at the girl, "Hmm, and what do we get if we go through with this?" Eris smirked.

"Do I even have to explain that?" the assassin took the hidden answer, seeing how the ninjas reacted to it. "Well, since you're willing, I wouldn't mind." Eris smirk widened, while her insides tighted. "But what do you want in return?"

Eris put on the most cold face that she could muster up, "I want you to let these losers go. It makes no sense to kill them...they're so weak!" she grimaced for a second. "I don't understand why I even decided to make them my friends...and why I like him in the first place!" she pointed to Trent. "Let them go, they're no threat."

The assassin thought for a second, then looked at the lady who was now by his side. "You wouldn't rather us kill them all? Rid the world of such a weakness?"

"Unfortunately no...let them try if they want, just practice for you all. I'm sure your life gets boring sometimes...well, they're good entertainment."

The assassin shook his head, "I still would rather kill them...and probably will."

Eris smiled, grasping the assassin's shoulders. "Please? I'll make it worth your while..." she trailed off, turning away from him.

He sighed, "Let him go." The ninja threw Trent to the group. "Now, me and the little lady here will be going...but if I see you all anymore, I will surely kill you all. You have anything to say to them before you leave?"

Eris simply walked over to her bag, which was by Rei, and picked it up. She looked at the group, silently telling herself that she was doing this for them...but she shouldn't have. She looked at Trent, and placed her laptop nearest him. "Take this...something to remember me by..." and with that, she turned. But in her mind, she regretted even doing this. She would rather die by their side than switch off to the enemy's.

Trent picked up the Laptop and eyed it for a bit. His eyes then got as big as plates. He nudged Rei, who then nudged Jericho. They all got the messege. Since Eris was trading herself off, the enemy valnurable.

Trent pulled his pistol out of his Coat and began shooting, Rei dove for his weapon and Jericho stomped on his Pistol handles making them fly into his hands. They all began firing, the Assassin and Ninjas dropped. Trent turned around and began firing at the doorguards. Jericho blasted to other Ninjas while they were pulling out their swords. All the Assassins fell and the Ninja tumbled to the ground with a big fizzling hole through his head.

Eris stopped walking and looked around, stunned that all that happend so fast.

[B]Trent:[/B] You think we'd let you go?!
[B]Rei:[/B] Never!
[B]Jericho:[/B]We're all in this together...we STAY together!

Eris looked at the group and then smiled.

Rei began un masking the Assassin and the Ninjas.

[B]Rei:[/B] I dont even know these people.
[B]Jericho:[/B]Neither do I...

Eris walked up to Trent and got in close to him, she stroked his face, then the Laptop in his left hand was gone.

[B]Trent:[/B]What?! How'd you?!
[B]Rei:[/B] Good 'ol Eris!
[B]Jericho:[/B] Now its time to recieve our reward...

[Avalon]

Eris smiled at Trent, "Never touch my laptop..." she trailed off, pushing it back in her bag. She kicked the body of one of the ninjas, "Serves you right...perverts!"

Jericho laughed, "You offered yourself to them...who's gonna turn that down?"

Eris smacked him on the head. "Maybe I should be calling you the pervert." Pulling her bag on her shoulders, she turned around--face to face with Trent. She jumped. "Don't scare me like that!"

Trent smiled, "Sorry about that...but there's one thing that I wanted to know. Did you really mean what you said about liking me?"

Eris turned around, she didn't want to answer that...not yet, anyway. "Well, let's go...gotta get that reward don't we?" she tried to run away but someone grasped onto the bag, stopping her from running. "Trent we don't have time for this...let go."

"Not until I get my answer..." she looked at him.

"We'll talk later, " she replied, taking off her bag. "Since you are quite fond of my bag, you hold it."

[silpheedpilot]

Looks down.
[B]Trent:[/B]I always get stuck with the bag...
Trent laughed out loud and headed out the door with the group.
Trent ran back inside and slung the dead Assassin over his shoulder.
The group walked down to the Protect Corps (Police of the future), they entered the the station and Trent dropped the dead body down in front of the counter.

[B]Rei:[/B]Wow..trent, you dont have to be so cruel!

Trent just looked at Rei blankly.

[B]Rei:[/B] Oh! Right, right...sorry...

Eris walked up to the Corps Agent.

[B]Eris:[/B] We have come to claim the reward for the Assassin that has be ravaging the Rich District. You said "DOA" and well..he's pretty Dead..

Trent grabbed the Assassins dead body by its legs and pulled it closer to the counter.

[B]Corps Agent:[/B]How do I know THIS is the Assassin.

Trent stepped up the the Counter and slammed his Pistol down.

[B]Trent:[/B] Look at us! We're wounded...Ok...I'm wounded, we're a exhausted...Do an ivestigation if you have to! We want the reward..Now!

Eris looked at Trent with suprise. She had never seen this side of him before.

[B]Corps Agent:[/B]Ok, ok.. Hold on...

The Agent went into a room behind the Counter and emerged with a Briefcase. He set it down on the Counter and slid it over to Trent.

[B]Corps Agent:[/B] There you go, its all there. Leave the body there, we'll take care of it.

Trent put his Pistol back in his coat, grabbed the Briefcase in one hand and picked up Eris's bag in the other. The group walked out of the station and back to the hideout...

[Avalon]

Eris glanced at Trent, [i]What's wrong with him?[/i] she thought, playing with a strand of her hair. [i]Hmm, whatever...his emotions change much too often for me to keep up with him. All I have to worry about is how I'm going to tell him this...[/i]

Reaching the hideout, she slipped off her gloves. Everyone went straight to their rooms...and so was she...

Someone cleared their throat, making her jump. "I'm all ears..."

Eris froze, she knew that voice. "Trent not right now."

"What's a better time than now?" she sighed.

"Aren't you tired?" she asked, "Go get some rest." She saw him walk to the nearest chair.

"I'm not...I'm anxious to hear what you have to say."

Eris sighed again, this was going no where. "Well, let me dress your wounds then...and I'll talk." she spoke, getting out the First Aid kit. She silently cleaned and dressed his wounds, trying not to speak.

She picked up the kit and proceeded to leave when she was pulled back. "Talk." She sighed heavily, pulling herself away from him. She was getting tired of this charade...

"If you want the answer, Trent, I like you!" she paused, getting angry by the minute. "Is that what you wanted to hear?!" she was getting frustrated also. "I gotta go." She ran away from him, heading towards her room. Closing the door, she sunk to the floor...[i]Why didn't I just lie to him?[/i] she thought, placing her head on top of her knees.

[Lord Prozen]

[b]Roy[/b] ok now that we got the cash lets go back to the hide out.

[b]Rei[/b] ok lets go!
and so they went back to the hide out

[b]Roy[/b] ok heres another plan (by me lol) ok Trent and Eris stay here while the rest of us go buy the parts

[b]Rei[/b] ok guys lets go buy the parts. *they all leave*

[b]Trent[/b] so...did you mean what you said about liking me?

Eris just looked away

[Galvatron]

" My poor Rx-78 speeder cycle all blown up im going to miss it." Jericho said. " Sorry Jericho we would replace it but the ship parts come first." Rei said. Soon the group arrived at the parts store for all space ships and fighters etc.

[Squall]

As soon as everyone got outside, Vinc turned away from the rest of the group.
Vince: I'll be back later.
Rei: Where're you goin?
Vince: If you want to die, go ahead and ask me again.
He walked to the edge of a street and lit a match. almost immediately, a car drove up and Vince got in. The car sped off with Vince inside, leaving the group baffled.

[b]Rei:[/b] Heh, well thats strange ol' Vince for ya.
Everyone nodded as they walked toward the shop where they sold Striker Craft parts.
[b]Rei:[/b] There it is! Up ahead!
They arrived in time, just before the shop closed.
[b]Rei:[/b] I need some parts for my friends broken space craft.
He said to the clerk
[b]Clerk:[/b] Well, i need to know the exact names of the parts.
[b]REi[/b] I'll just buy everything in the goddang shop.
The clerk stood there astonished.
[b]Clerk:[/b]Thats way too much money for----
[b]Rei:[/b] Shut the hell up,
he said as he placed the breifcase on the desk. He followed by opening it.
[b]Clerk[/b] You musta...killed that...assasin. There's no other way you could'a got dat kinda money
[b]Jericho:[/b] Haha, we sure did.
[/color]

Trent walked to the door and knocked on it.

[B]Eris:[/B]*frusterated* Go away!
[B]Trent:[/B] Please let me in so we can talk...

After a short pause, Eris slowly opend the door and pulled Trent in.

[B]Trent:[/B]Whoa!

Trent watches Eris slump to the floor and put her head on her knees.
He slowly sits down in front of her. Trent slides next to Eris and puts an arm around her shoulders.

[B]Trent:[/B]I dont know how to ask this...Why wouldn't you tell me?
[B]Eris:[/B]Its just a little hard to tell people how you feel sometimes, ya know?
[B]Trent:[/B]Yeah. I know. Is it cause of the other guys that you were afriad to tell me?
[B]Eris:[/B] I dont know...

[Avalon]

Eris folded her arms around her, "Maybe it is...cause I'm a girl and that makes me feel awkward." she sighed, taking her hair out of its ponytail. She frowned, hating the uncomfortable silence that was between them.

She gritted her teeth, [i]What is he thinking about?[/i] she frown deepened as she thought the worst. [i]Another rejection...I can feel it.[/i]

She had enough, "Look, Trent...what did you come to my room for? Just say what you have to say..." she got up and sat on her bed, turning her back to him.
