Writing Rate my Digimon fan-fic idea

I made up this cool fan-fic idea for Digimon, and I've already started writing the first half. I've posted a little about this idea in another topic on the Digimon board, but this will explain it more.

Okay, here's some basic information:
1: This happens in our dimension, where Digimon is actually a cartoon and stuff. Plus, this is an American thing, so the names will be in American.
2: This story has a sort of modern meets futuristic kind of thing. Basically, that means we have really good technology and mostly everything runs off of the Internet.
3: The Internet is the Digital World.
4: The Digivices are these square things that have a strap for your wrist to wear like a watch, then it has a slot on the bottom to use "D-Floppies".
5: D-Floppies are chips to download and have your Digimon use (it's like Tamers, except instead of cards, they're little chips).
6: Digivices are a hot new product among kids and teens. People have battles and there are official tournaments.
7: Digimon aren't really real, they're data inside the Digivice, that talks to you and is like a friend (it's like Net Navis from Mega Man Battle Network 1/ 2/ 3, or Mega Man NT Warrior).
8: You can "Plug-In"(I tried not to make it a ripoff from the Mega Man stuff, but it's exactly the same as that).

Okay, that should be the basic stuff. Now for the plots:
1: The first half deals with the main character and his friends trying to enter the World Tournament, plus, they're trying to stop this jerky, rival-like kid(who's possessed by an evil Digimon, which isn't discovered until the second half) from trying to rule the Digital World.
2: The second half deals with the Internet in total ruins, viruses running wild, and everyone's computer crashing. Then, a proffessor finds a way to stop the madness. He call the World Champion (oh, yeah, spoiler for first half, main character becomes World Champion) and his friends to test a new invention. The invention compresses the kids' molecules into data and sends them into the Internet (were they actually meet their own Digimon). There, they eventually have the final battle with Milleniumon, which eventually in the fight becomes MoonMilleniumon, which eventually in the fight becomes XeedMilleniumon.

So what did you think of my idea? I got the whole idea from the Mega Man games and cartoon I mentioned.

I, myself, have fallen from the "Digimon Cloud", and don't purge myself into it very much anymore. But this, this would get me interested. I hope you have very good writing skills, so I trust you.
