I'm not exactly sure if it's true, but apparently the box art for LoZA has been shown...

As you can see, it looks identical to A Link to the Past's art...except for the "Four Swords" logo underneath.

Very cool, I think. :love2:

Only problem is, I don't really know anyone else with a GBA...so I won't really be able to play the Four Swords mode. :bawl:

As far as anyone knows, the LttP game is exactly the same. The only real reason for me to get it personally is the Four Swords game. Based on some recent shots I saw of it from New Technix, there is a lot more going into Four Swords than I first thought.

As for the box, it's basically exactly the same as the SNES box from years ago... I don't find it all that impressive haha.

Well, I happen to like the LTP box art. :p Out of all the Zelda logos, I like it the best, along with the Link's Awakening logo, which is the same only with "Link's Awakening" on it instead of "A Link to the Past."

And yes, the LTP game is exactly the same, from what I've heard.

I agree with Desbreko. Best box art, and the game, from what I've heard, is the same as on the SNES. Maybe a few minor graphic changes, but that's about it. And Four-Swords MOde, i think, is just going through the adventure with three other people while trying to kill them, get more rupees, etc. etc. I'm not positive about this, though. If someone could tell me what it is, though, i'd appreciate it.

Four Swords is made up of basically different dungeons that four people can play through. All of them seem to be made specifically for Four Swords. I guess the goal is to get the most rupees before the level ends... so it's in your best interest to make sure your friends don't get more rupees than you. At the same time, you need to cooperate to get anywhere in the levels, as there are traps and puzzles that need more than one player to complete.

Hmm..I guess I'll help.Oo The first boss you must beat with arrows(I do hope I'm thinking of the same one you are) There are seven...statues...can't remember what they are called. Just shoot them with arrows or slash them til there is just one left. Once there is one left, just dodge his attempts to pound onto you, and when he hits the ground, slash him or shoot him. Really its very easy, you just have to time it all right.

I think he's talking about the Helmasaur King, the boss of Level 1: Dark Palace, since it's the first one you get a crystal from. (Looks like a diamond). Here's a boss strategy I wrote for it. (I also have strategies for all the other bosses in the game, if you need more help).

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Boss Strategy - Helmasaur King
When you fight the Helmasaur King, the boss of Level 1: Dark Palace, you have to break its mask before you can hurt it. To do this, you can either hit it with the Hammer, or throw Bombs at it. Bombs do more damage to the mask, but they're harder to hit with. The Hammer does less damage, but is easier to hit with (though you do have to get right next to it). I prefer Bombs, but I seem to be good at hitting with them, so you might want to try both methods to see which is easier for you.
After you break the mask you'll see a big green spot on it's head. Now's the time to start wailing on it with you're sword. I prefer to use normal swings because there's a lot of stuff flying around the room, but you don't need a lot of speed if you know the pattern, so Spin Attacks do also work decently. As for the stuff flying around the room, the Helmasuar King will spit fireballs that will hover in place for a bit, split into four pieces, and then split again. If you don't pick up on the pattern of the fireballs, you'll want to use normal swings of your sword, like I mentioned before. If you're good, though, you can try using Spin Attacks. Another thing that you have to watch out for is the Helmasaur's tail. Every now and then, it'll wip it around at you, which can be hard to avoid if you're busy with the fireballs.
For this fight, you'll really want at least two Red/Blue Potions and probably a Faerie, too. It's really easy to take a lot of damage in this fight, quicker than you might expect with all the fireballs and that tail. Your main priority in this fight should be avoiding the fireballs, actually. A good time to attack is when one batch of fireballs has disappeared, and you might even try charging up a Spin Attack during this time to hit it with.
Hehe nope, no hookshot needed.
You can't even get it until you get the Magickal Hammer from Level 1 In the Dark World dungeon, "Eastern Palace"
But enough of that, it's very simple.
::How To Get The Moon Pearl::
To get the Moon Pearl, it is very simple. Go to the 6F (I think.. the one with the fireball chain going around a block and a bumper right next to it. There are also little orb-like creatures that you've encountered throughout the dungeon) and step on the Star Square. After you do this, the floor's pattern will change, creating a hole to the north side of the room. Jump into that hole. Beware of the spinny orb thingie that'll knock you onto the Star Square, making you do it all over again.
Once there, carefully make your way towards the chest and open it. Congratulations, you have the Moon Pearl. No more bunny-form in Dark World!
Oh yeah, and if you run out of hearts that you get from the pots on the 6F, you can go to the northern-most hole in the room and jump down that. It should make you fall to the B1 or B2 of the dungeon/tower and give you a couple fairies. Walk into the Warp Pad and you'll be transported to 5F. Small price to pay for a refill.
I hope that helped.
Heh, someone else recently needed help on that boss. Go here to see the boss strategy I posted.
One of my friends was actually stuck on that boss for a long time. Then I let him try fighting it on my new GBASP and he beat it first try after not playing for quite a while. Maybe you should get a GBASP and try it. :p
Heh, that's one of the trickiest parts of that dungeon. What you have to do, is, climb up through one of those water spout things. (Well, more like swim up through, but whatever). There'll be a wide, rectangular room with those statue head things on the northern wall with water coming out of them. You should be able to just swim up two of them, to get into two other rooms.
Codes? (Wonders why people enjoy using cheats for strategic adventure/RPG games in the first place...)
There's one where you enter your name as, "Zelda" should work, if I'm not mistaken. Since the GBA Zelda is just a port.
*Shrugs* Couldv'e took it out of that version for the GBA.
The trick for entering your name as ZELDA (all caps) is for both The Legend of Zelda and Link's Awakening--it just does different things in either game. In The Legend of Zelda, it starts you out on the second quest, and in Link's Awakening, it changes the music in the game. It doesn't do anything in A Link to the Past, however.
As for codes in A Link to the Past, no, there aren't any. (Unless you use a GameShark or something like that, anyway). As someone else has said, there are tricks and glitches, but no actual codes. If you want, I can tell you about the tricks; just PM or IM me or something. I don't really feel like typing them all out right now.
And by the way, Chris Houlihan's Room isn't in the GBA version of LTP. I've tried and tried and tried to get into it, but never been able to. And yes, I've gotten into it many times on the SNES version, so I know what I'm doing. ^_^
