Anna
I'm starting at Southern Virginia University in August and I'm going to major in Liberal Arts, focusing on English. I've been considering Education lately, perhaps in place of English and I'll put it as my minor. I like to teach and have been told I have a knack for it,... so why not? And it'll give me a definate job field at least. Liberal Arts jobs are broad, and that can be both an advantage and disadvantage. But, I'll define my course in higher fashion once I actually get a feel for things there. ^_^
Change
Sorry to be the one to burst bring this up, but most people in the education biz don't like Liberal Studies majors =/ (My parents are in education). I hope that I end up in Med School or graduate school...For med schools, I'm going to try to get into UCSF (top med school in the US), or McGill (a Canadian Ivy Leauge in Montreal). I really don't want to do any really Doctor stuff, I just want to do resarch and having either a Masters/PhD/Md would really help my carear options. Shinmaru
I'll probably end up going the communications route, with the emphasis on Journalism. I've always been interested in getting a job in writing, and being a journalist seems the best way to go for me (plus, I just might get my dream job, but I seriously doubt it would happen). Even if I can't apply that aspect of my degree to a job, it's something I want to delve into more. English is a stronger option anyway, I suppose... Change
Yeah, English works better from what I hear. Education is a great profession, andI have great respect for it. You can still get hired witha Liberal Studies Major, but English or some other Subject is a little more favored.

SO, how did you do on the AP test??? ^______^ Sorry, I'm a bit on the excited side. Well, about Calculus anyway. Me and my mom were talking last night and now I am seriously wondering why I'm not doing art. I guess it's because it's my hobby and I don't want to make a career out of it. I'd probably get some sort of block and never figure out what to do. Heh...but I'll try to minor in something artistic. I'm thinking clothing design. ^_^
James
Well, at the moment I'm in my first year of BA Graphic Design (Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design). It's a three year, full-time course. Once I get my degree, I'm then planning to study Electronic Design & Interactive Media. That encompasses video production, web development, 2D/3D animation, programming, interactive production, sound editing and production, music composition and so on. It's a very broad course, designed primarily for the video game and digital design fields. So, in total that's about six years of tertiary study. It's a long time...but it'll be worthwhile in the end.

Emme888
I'm not in College yet, but I've thought about it. I'll double major in Mass Communications and Creative Writing.(Despite my lack of spelling ability) It'll be hard, but after I'm done I hope to Be a journalist, but if I get my dream of being an Actress, I'll remember you all....
