[i]Alternate dimensions. People have long wondered if they exist. Scientists have debated the existance of them. Books, both fact and fiction, have been written about them. But nobody believed that the existance of other dimensions would ever be prooven. People never guessed the truth: beings from another dimension have been living among humans for centuries. Nobody has noticed, because these beings are human. They are identical to Earth humans in every way except one: these people have extrordinary abilities. They are able to control diferent elements: fire, water, wind, etc. However, these people are dieing out.
There are now only a few left from the other dimension. They had traveled to Earth to escape a deadly force that was destroying their race, but only a few hundred made it. They attempted to settle down on the new world when the native humans were discovered. The other-dimensional humans were forced to conceal their exestance and live like Earth humans.
Some were unable to refrain from using their powers, and were excecuted as witches and warlocks. Most tried to live without their powers, but found that they didn't know how to, and died. Only a very small number learned the skills needed to use their powers without being discovered, therefore allowing them to survive. Their decendants are the only other-dimensional humans still alive, but their numbers are steadily decreasing.[/i]

The year is 2012, and the remaining other-dimentional humans have sought out each other. They are hopeing to find a place where they can live as they were meant to, without anyone fearing their powers, forcing them to be cautious in their use. They must also ensure that their race continues to exist, as they are the only ones left. They know that the only hope for the survival of their race lies with them. They must find a safe place to live and raise children of their race. That is their only hope for survival.
December 23, 2012: They have all felt it: a great evil is coming. The same evil force that destroyed their home is coming for Earth. Since the dimension-crossing technology was lost, there is no escape. The only hope for the survival of both types of humans lies with them. Togeather, they must face the evil and destroy it.



In this RPG, you play as an other-dimensional human. Here's what I need from you:

Name: Your character's name. Only first name is required.
Age: Your character's age. The acceptable range is 16-30.
Gender: Your character's gender. The other-dimensional humans have the same genders Earth humans do.
Description: What your character looks like. Other-dimentional humans look like Earth humans.
Bio: Your character's background. Remember that he or she has knowedge of his or her powers and knows how to use them, but is aware of when it is acceptable to and when it isn't. Also, your character's parents aren't necessarily dead(I just wanted to make sure that was clear). Your character has met all the other characters, as well.
Element: The element your character has power over(One per character). See below for the list of elements. Only one character can have power over each element.

Element list:
Fire(Me): Contorl over fire. Can also cause most objects(not living things) to burst into flame, and can create blasts of fire. Is immune to freezing and being burnt, and is not affected by temperature changes.
Water: Control over water. Can also cause rain, and can create blasts of water. Can breath underwather.
Ice: Control over ice. Can also freeze most objects(not living things), and can create blasts of ice. Is immune to freezing and being burnt, and is unaffected by tempurature changes.
Electricity: Control over electricity, Can also cause anything that runs on electricity(including batteries) to short out, and can create blasts of electricity(senseing a pattern here?). Is immune to electric shock.
Earth: Control over earth. Can also cause earthquakes, and can create blasts of dirt and rocks(bet you expected that). Suffers no loss of visibility in sandstorms.
Light: Control over light. Can also cause any area to become bright, and can create blasts of light(but you knew that). Has no loss of seeing ability due to it being too bright.
Darkness: This one's a little different. At night, the character with control over darkness is able to use the darkness of night to hide him/her and others from sight, and sheild him/her and others from attacks. He/she is also able to use the darkness to take things like weapons from others. Fo course, he/she is also able to create dark energy blasts(did I even have to tell you that?). Durring the day, he/she is limited to the dark energy blasts. Can see in the dark just as well as durring the day. (Just a note: the person who chooses darkness is [i]not[/i] evil. There is a difference)
Feel fre to use an element other than the one listed. Just be sure to describe what your character's abilities are.

Here's my character:

Name: David
Age: 18
Gender: Male
Description: 5ft. 10in. with brown hair and eyes. He always wears shorts and a t-shirt(he is immune)
Bio: David's parents(Both, like him, having control over fire) decided to give him his education an home, rather than send him to an Earth-human school, as they didn't want to risk him accidently(or purposefully) using his powers where others could see him. They also trained him in the proper use of his powers, and taught him how to keep them under control.
David spent his free time either with the other other-dimensionsal humans his age, or learning about computers. He is a computer expert, and can awnser almost any question about them. He has made a good deal of cash helping people with computer problems.
David's parents were killed in a car crash a year ago, but David has managed to live without them. He makes his living as a computer support person, and also writes programs that are custom-made based on what a buyer wants.
Element: Fire

There. That's probably the longest post I've ever made(not counting the posts in Tamers: V2, which is an actual story as opposed to an RPG).

[b]Bio:[/b]Ki's parents both have had elemental powers but not Nature.When they found out she had powers they began to home school her incase another case happened.Once they didn't know.They thought Ki didn't have any powers but they were wrong.One day she was at school and someone kicked a tree and Ki felt the pain.Suddenly vines zoomed out and encased the boy that had kicked the tree.Ki could have killed the boy if her parents weren't called in time and they calmed her.After that they couldn't take any chances and they began to teach her how to control her powers.She spent time with the other people with powers and computers.She can make programs and other computer related things.She hangs out with David quite a bit because of the shared passion of computers and they usually help each other.

[B]Bio:[/B] Arika's mother was element of sun and her father was element of moon. When Arika was born, she recieved both. All things are connected to the Sun and Moon, no matter what. Her parents didn't know what to do with Arika's schooling, so they sent her to school. What they didn't know was that, her powers made her very independant, alone, and never backing down. One day, a bully locked a poor kid in a locker when Arika showed up. She purposely bumped into the bully and made him angry. He tried to hit her, but Arika was able to hit him so that he slid across the hall. She burned the lock and let the kid out. He ran. She was expelled for hitting a student. Her parents were scared for her...Arika wasn't.

[B]Sun/Moon:[/B] In the day, Sun is the strongest: can create exploding balls of fiery light, can alter weather when her power is at its strongest, create strong heat waves, can call upon creatures of day, has incredible healing powers, can be invisible at times when time is right, can cause a blast of blinding light, also has certain psychic skills. At night, Moon is strongest: can create daggers of darkness, can creates think fogs/mists that can be poisounous when power is at its strongest, create veils of darkness, can call upon creatures of night, also has incredible healing powers, can walk among shadows without being detected, can cause large balls of darkness, also can use moonlight for direction, also lots of unknown abilities both Sun and moon

Name: TJ
Age: 21
Gender: Male
Description: Tall and leanly muscled. He always wears dark-colored t-shirts (black, blue, dark red) and blue jeans. He wears the same black baseball cap and the same frog pendant (made from Tiger Eye) every day.
Bio: TJ used to travel alone, until now. His parents are both dead, and he is alone in the world, except for the others. He has trained in most martial arts, focusing on the Ninja art of Ninjitsu. No one really knows any thing else about his past, and he damn well isn't telling.
Personality: TJ, when he isn't feeling brooding and sulky, is a very calm, easy-going person. He seems to almost have two personalities, one calm and optimistic, the other a loner and a pessimist. Either way, he is fiercly protective of his allies and is a brilliant strategist. He is usually the darker side, which is also very cynical and sarcastic.
Element: Darkness.

All three of you are in. Arika, you'll need to remove the summoning from your element abilities, as it doesn't fit. Also know that since your element combines the powers of two others, they won't be as strong.

Name: Destiny

Age: 25

Gender: female

Description: She has silver-white hair in a long ponytail and green eyes. She's been an orphan for as long as she can remember and tends to be serious and moody. Usually she wears black leather pants and a yellow t-shirt, and black boots.

Bio: When Destiny was little her sister Miya once used her powers in front of a group of humans, and in terror they killed her. Destiny always felt like she could have or should have done something to save her and refuses to believe there was nothing she could do. Because of that, she tends to be on her own a lot because she doesn't want to "fail" anyone again. (In other words, she's scared someone else she cares about will die, so she just refuses to care about anyone). She remembers how to use her powers, but because of what the humans did to her sister, she doesn't use them and tries to act like a normal human.

Element: Fate. (Yeah, I know, kinda cheesey when her name's Destiny, but gimme a break. ;^^) She has a long staff with a pentagram on the end that she can summon at will. She can use it for attacks, and can use it to very briefly stop time for everyone but her. She also uses it to read the future (find a person's "fate").

[u]Description:[/u] (I modified this a little.) 5'2", long braided pink hair, purplish eyes. She wears a white tank top with a couple of baby blue stripes, a pink miniskirt, and bright blue high-heeled strappy sandals.
[u]Bio:[/u] Euro's parents lived in another dimension when they had to flee to Earth due to a large explosion there. As soon as they got to Earth they soon gave birth to Euro and her six sisters (Masuket, Sakura, Rosetta, Chicadi, Ferati, and Crestina). But, when their children neared their sixteenth birthdays, they were accused of using amgic, so they were immediately killed. Their clildren managed to escape and lived in their parents' house. They only used their powers at home, and they closed all the windows, doors, etc. One day, however, they mysteriously disappeared... Euro was the only one left at home. Had her sisters left on a journeyto face the evil? Were they kidnapped? Euro wasn't sure...
[u]Personality:[/u] Euro does not like to use her powers much, which is probably why she didn't leave Earth with her sisters. She's really friendly and usually loves to have friends around. She sometimes gets depressed when she doesn't have anyone to be with. Also, she's quite lazy, but very patient. She doesn't get bored that easily, and she's quite good at coming up with things to do most of the time...

As you can probably tell from my post count, I've never done an RPG here before. But I'd love this to be my first :-)

Name: Christian

Age: 26

Gender: male

Description: Short black hair that grows too quickly. Almost always seen wearing khaki pants and a button-down with the first few buttons open -- he switches the colors up to match his mood.

Bio: He's a pretty cheerful and open guy most of the time, but he doesn't like talking about his past much. The others have been able to figure out, though, that he and his sister were brought up by foster parents. His sister didn't have any elemental powers, even though she is other-dimensional. She was able to stay in a normal human school, but he was discovered and kicked out when he caused all the lights to short out during a test.
He has a passion for reading and writing and can often be seen writing in a small green notebook. He has a good handle on his powers and tries to use them as little as possible.

Element: Electricity

The characters we play as have never seen the other dimension. Their ancestors lived there, but nobody currently alive has ever been there. Also, the other-dimensional humans no longer know how to travle to other dimensions. Change your bios to fit with that, and you're in.

SJchan Mayran, you're in. Nefertimon, you still need to edit your bio.

[b]Description:[/b] Vance has long silver hair and generally wears Sun-glasses. He normally has a pale grey long-sleved shirt along with a leather jacket. His jeans or fairly baggy, but not to baggy and he wears large black boots. He also wears black fingerless gloves.
[b][u]Bio:[/u][/b] As far as Vance knew he was just another average teenager but one day it all went wrong for him. While going to school he wasn't what you would call un-popular, but neither was he popular but he was quite good at football and the jocks didn't like that one bit. One afternoon after school they had him cornered and were about to attack him when they just flew away and it took a few seconds to realise but it had been Vance who had knocked them away with his element, wind. The next day the Principle called him to the office and told him he had to leave the school and he's been by him self ever since.

[B][U]WIND:[/U][/B] With his hands Vance can create cyclones and other things like that, though not as large as the real thing. He can also make huge gusts by placing his hands together and aiming them at someone or something. If there is a strong wind where he is he can control it a directed it to where it is needed, though this takes more energy then forming his own.

Name: Kaisuke (Ken) Hikigane
Age: 19
Description: 6' tall, silver hair, 3 piece white business suit, dragon shaped stud earring, large scarf.
Bio: Ken fights with a gunblade and is quite adept at using it. His last name is that of famous family that adopted him. He is somewhat of a young gentleman, but is plagued by thae fact that his past is a mystery to him. Ken doesn't understand why other people don't have their own powers, since he believes that people waste so much of their potential. He is usually very cool and collective, and he refuses to cause trouble, unless someone asks for it...
Element: Gravity
Element Effect: Can create small black holes and crush enemies by increasing their density. Also can float for a short time, but controlled flight is impossible.

We are playing as people whose ancestors lived in another dimension(this was centuries ago), but who have never seen it for themselves. You need to edit your bio to reflect that. Also, the other-dimensional humans have no technology beyond that of Earth humans. And, Nefertimon, our characters were born on Earth and will never leave. Plese edit your bio again.

And also, just to let you know, I might be adding a few more characters, such as Euro's six sisters. Besides, it's highly unlikely that more people will be signing up, since it's kinda late for that.

Also, that might make the RPG a little more different in my case, so that way, not everybody has the exact same assignment (That's actually the way it kinda should be.) Of course, everybody's assignment is to free Earth from evil, but I'm just giving Euro a little side destiny so I can have a little more fun with this RPG. Is that OK?

If so, I think their elements will be Ice, Light, Heat (different from fire), Life, Shadow (slightly different from Darkness), and Weather.
