You know the rules.
You know anything can happen.
It's time to start.

Squall Leonhart stood at the stairway of Balamb Garden. Dressed in his proper uniform, he stay content, as always. His blue eyes shimmered with light and told a long, depressing story.

He looked up as a girl with long, black hair appeared at the top of the staircase. Her clothings we black, and she had a long, blue sweater coat over that, buttoned in the middle. As light as air, she made her way down the staircase.

"Hello, tiger," she said, smiling at Squall.

"Heya Rinoa," Squall said back, smiling, which was a rare thing before a year ago.

"We better hurry, the others are waiting for us," she said, walking in front of him, off to another room. He followed, and peeked at her butt. (heh, I had to put that in)

When they walked into the classroom, a teenager with long, brown hair stood, leaning on the wall. His light blue eyes were only visible because his hat was off and no where to be seen. He held a large rifle in his left hand.

Across the room, a blonde with a tatto on his face punched through the air. He jumped slightly while doing this, then stopped, and took a bite out of a hot dog.

"Zell, Irvine, are you guys ready?" asked Rinoa, crossing her arms.

"Rinoa! Squall! Yeah, I've been ready! Too bad Quistis and the others couldn't come," said Zell energetically.

"Yeah, they have alot to do. So do we. The Flam (can anyone provide a picture?)have been making appearances around the garden. We cannot let them get used to humans, or even attack. Let's go."

With that, and with Irvine non-talking, they left Balamb Garden.

OoC: If everyone's going to be "plunged into FFX", as you said in the sign up, then us FFX(/2) characters won't have that much to do at first. Ah well--I'm good at stall writing.
Also, are we playing in the Spira after the events of FFX, or should we consider FFX still going on?

Somewhere in Kilika, port village...
Tidus was practicing the Jecht Shot again, but striving to change it up enough to attach his own name to the move. He flew out of the ocean water and began to bodily spin again; as it came for the moment to kick the Blitzball, he tried to throw a little flair by moving his arms in a dramatic pose. As a result, the ball bounced off his bare stomach and splashed into the water. Due to gravity, Tidus' body was quick to follow.
The water surface rippled, brushed up against the wooden pier where Auron stood. He watched the ripples and, narrowing his eye slightly, shook his left foot. His boot was glistening wetly now.
"Oop. Sorry, Auron."
"Hmph." The older man glanced at Tidus, whose blonde hair was plastered to his forehead, a sheepish grin on the teen's face. "You've been practicing for hours now. Isn't that enough?"
"OK, OK, I know you're not a sports freak." It was true--the only time Auron had ever seen a Blitzball game was when Jecht had dragged him and Braska to the one in Luca. The other time he had been in Luca, he was a bit too occupied with the fiends in the stadium to watch.
"So we are going."
Tidus had just about reached the pier, stretching to take Auron's hand to get out, when he did a backflip in the water. "Just a few more minutes!"
Auron shifted his body and growled quietly. "Why is this so important to you?"
"I want to be my own guy, make a name for myself," Tidus replied, a little distracted. He jumped in the air again, got ready to kick the ball--
"Because you don't want to live in Jecht's shadow anymore."
--SPLASH! Tidus hit the water. He never even touched the ball that time. He resurfaced, sputtering and gasping for air, then glared at Auron.
"That's right, I don't. Problem?"
Auron was about to plunge into a speech about respect for your elders and how great Jecht was back when Auron knew him...but Tidus was listening less and less these days. Besides, the boy did need to grow up sometime. Auron sighed and just walked down the pier to a nearby shop.
"That's what I thought," Tidus said, smarmly.
"Shut up and be ready in five minutes, or I'm leaving without you."
"Where we going?"
"You'll find out soon enough."

OOC: No worries about me ^^ I can't help, but make long posts XD

--------------

Vivi walked through the moss-covered forest and peered up at the fading sun through the lower canopy with illuminating eyes, magic whisking around his every move. His clothing, yet a bit ragged, still shown spectacular under his magic power. Fixing his hat with two hands, he started his way down the path.

He was searching for Zidane since they just recently camped in this forest. Vivi was sent out by the group to search for some wood, even though he felt uneasy about the job. Never the less, they threatened to use his staff if he didn't get any wood so off he went.

Still carrying his staff with him, just in case they got any ideas, he dragged a net along the ground filled up with a pile of firewood. He looked back with glee for it was good wood. Once the wood was given to group, they could make a fire, eat, and then go to sleep. The next day was going to be great. Vivi wasn't sure what Zidane had planned to do, but it made his curious at the thought.

As Vivi pondered, he didn't notice the tree root protruding from the ground and Vivi ended up taking a tumble down to the campsite as it is, the wood pile collapsing and following behind. As good of a wizard was Vivi, he was still clumsy as ever which was never a help. The sun was almost down by now and it was time to set up the fire before monsters emerged. The fire would at least ward them off. Zidane and the others readied their weapons by their sides just in case.

Vivi wobbled over to a fish that lay next to the fire. He picked it up expecting to put it on a stick, but instead it flopped out of his hands, still alive! "AHHH!" Vivi let out a shreak as he fell backwards and the fish flew into the fire.

Zidane peered into the fire and saw the fish burn away. "Well, Vivi, it seems that fish is a bit over done."

Vivi looked up from the pile of wood he once again fell into. His hat was flopsided and he let out a sigh of disappointment. "Aww..."

He lay asleep for who knows how long, it could have been days, weeks, months, years, or even centuries. All he knew was that he'd been dead because Cloud wasn't dead. "So here lies the infamous Sephiroth. Beaten by a mere child." This was all the sliver-haired warrior could think as he lay on his back in a river of gleaming bright green liquid, or the Lifestream. This was the river where the souls of the dead came to live in peace. But why Sephiroth was here puzzled him, he was amazed that his body was here. He thought that only your soul could be in the lifestream. Maybe he was sentenced here to live out the rest of eternity, maybe not.

He'd been floating there with his eyes open for 10 minutes when Sephiroth realized he was moving upwards. The lifestream was expelling him like some foreign bacteria that was invading a body. As the pillar of lifestream pushed Sephiroth upwards he noticed that he was going to hit solid ground he braced himself for a really harsh awakening but to his surprise the ground split apart and the pillar continued to push him upwards until he could smell the fresh air, it was wonderful compared to being underground. The pillar then came to a halt and Sephiroth could feel himself falling back down but he hit solid earth. He stood up from his rather rude awakening and brushed himself off and looked around at the scenery, it was a jungle or more like a forest; either or it was just annoying and in the way towards a town. Sephiroth then turned on his heel and headed for the closest town which happened to be Wutai; he could tell it was Wutai because of the large tower that stood proudly and majestically over the smaller oriental buildings. Sephiroth grinned, at least he could finally get some real sleep and some food.

As he entered the town he saw everyone that was outside fleeing into their houses and slamming their doors shut and peeking from their windows. Sephiroth smirked to himself, if he had been his old self he would have destroyed this town in an instant but he wasn't his old self. The sliver-haired warrior walked down the cobbled street towards a nearby resturant, all he could think about was food. He hadn't eaten anything while in the lifestream so he was either A.) Pig out and gain over 20 pounds. or B.) Eat a decent amount of food and stop when he's full. He decided to go with choice B, he didn't want to over do it.

Sephiroth opened the very ornate door and walked in, almost everyone turned to see who it was and then they froze with fear, expecting their deaths these people just sat there looking at the black leather clad man but he just walked right past all of them and over to a table against the back wall and sat down. Everyone sighed mentally.

A young waitress walked up to Sephiroth's table and pulled out a notepad.

"What can I get for you?" She asked with a hint of anxiety in her voice. The silver-haired warrior pondered, he remembered drinking this before he went on his killing spree and said.

"Coffee, black." And with that the girl walked off and a minute later she returned with a mug of hot steaming coffee. While Sephiroth was drinking the coffee he caught eye of someone wearing a cloak staring right at him, he didn't know who it was or what but they were practically boring a hole into his head with his/her stare, he casually turned back to his drink and paid no attention to the person.

Yuffie kept on watching him.....drinking her juice quietly. Then he stood, setting his coffee down. She stood as well, drawing her cloak off. Everyone around them ran for cover. He drew his blade, smiling the whole time. She pulled out her oragami and removed her cloak, revealing the bare skin and brilliant smile.

He paused. That girl again? She waved her oragami in his face, smiling sweetly.

Sephiroth: You...

Yuffie: Yes?

Sephiroth: .....I thought you had died.

Yuffie: I prayed you had lived...so I might see your cute face again.

He blushed slightly, raising an eyebrow. She was unusually forward. Then again...he had never talked to her much.

It was a warm night in the forest. Being with Vivi was somewhat comforting due to his ability to light a fire whenever he wanted, but Vivi was not without his clumsiness. Due to the overly-large sleeves, Vivi had suffered many disrupts, and Zidane wasn't too impressed in general, however, he had to be tolerated with.

The forest gave off enough shelter that could last for miles upon end, however, the canopies hardly allowed any sunlight in. It was strange for a group to stay in an area such as this, but it had to be done.

Standing up and shaking himself down from the dry dirt, Zidane picked up his daggers and attached them to the tattered belt of which he depended on the sheathes to be held. Kicking some dirt into the blaze, Zidane held out his hands to enjoy the warmth to its fullest. Turning his head around to face Vivi, Zidane began to speak.

''Shouldn't you be getting some sleep? I mean, apparentley its my turn to guard the supplies, but if you insist, I'll go take a lie do--''

Vivi immediately cut into the conversation in fear of him having to stay up for the fourth night in which he fails to do the majority of the time. ''No way! I'm sleeping now!''

Zidane smirked as he watched Vivi lay down from his sat up position, and then turned around to be mesmerised by the flames.

Hypnotised by the arranged, bright patterns, Zidane began to pace up and down thinking of Garnet with every step. It was not easy guarding the supplies, seeing as beasts would ignore the fire, let alone the fact that the current guard would have difficulty fighting the urge to make use of some of the supplies.

Sitting on the ground with his back leaning against a wooden crate, Zidane found a lonely twig, unsheathed one of his daggers and began to skin the bark away as a form of entertainment. It was not long until Zidane began to drift off to slumber.

Seeing Zell and Irvine back in action was a blast for Rinoa. She still missed Quitis and Selphie though. Selphie's spunky attitude and Quistis cool-headedness always kept her encourage. She walked a few steps behind the guys as the proceede to leave the Garden. She turned around and looked back at the gates.
The first place I met you... Her first meeting with Squall. He had just became a SeeD that night and he looked all so lonely standing by himself. The dance...aww the dance. Although, his two left feet took over at first, he soon caught up and was very graceful.

Ivrine: Hello! Eart to Rinoa.

Irvine waved his hands in front of her face.
Zell: What are you thinking about there. Ultemicia hasn't taken control of you again has she.

Rinoa: No she hasn't taken over my body again, and will you get your hands outta my face.

Irvine laughed real quick and she turned to the three men now just staring at her.

Rinoa: I was just remembering things.

Squall: Things like what-

Rinoa: Just everything. These last few months have been some of the toughest and yet we made it through. I'm just happy to see we can join together again to make these times peaceful again.

Squall walked towards Rinoa.

Squall: Well I'm happy to...Especially having you by my side.

Rinoa smiled and kissed him on the cheek.

Rinoawhispering into Squalls ear.: You can show me how happy you are later on.

Squall's mouth dropped to the floor as Rinoa walked away bubblily as ever. She turned around and smiled at Squall who stood there with a red face.
Rinoa: So you coming or not. We got Flams to find.

Squall lifted his chin from the ground and walked up to the group.

Zell: Yo man, what did she say to you....

Vivi awoke with a start and saw Zidane huddled in a clump off to the side of the fire, dagger still at hand. Vivi slowly picked himself up and gradually made his way over to the crate, wobbling as he does. He took the wool blanket he planned on sleeping on and wrapped it around Zidane. The night seemed to chill a lot more as the morning crept closer. It was around 3 o' clock so theer was time ebfore the sun showed itself again. Though, that wouldn't matter since where they camped, the sun was scarce.

Vivi kicked a stone onto the blazing fire which was actually not blazing too much anymore. It was dimming. To resolve this conflict, Vivi wobbled over to the wood pile he "carried" to the camp and grabbed up a few pieces of wood and tossed them into the fire, causing it to flare up again.

Clapping his hands together through his gloves, Vivi grinned, though you couldn't tell. "I knew I was able to keep guard." Adjusting his hat, he plopped down in front of the fire and handled his staff. It was nicely carved as he had just noticed once he examined. A fine piece of craftsmanship.

Then a noise came. Vivi used his staff to pick himself back up and turned to the woods surrounding their site. His illuminating eyes followed the trees to a rustling bush in the distance. He pointed his staff towards the bush and caused it to glow. The bush stopped moving. This was a curious thought and Vivi decided to investigate.

Not bothering to wake and warn Zidane, he wobbled towards the bush. He moved the bush leaves apart with his staff, worried what he may find. There was nothing.

Relieved, he backed away and walked towards the campsite. He tossed another log into the fire and smoke cast around. "What the..." said out loud more than to himself. The smoke drifted toward the darkness of the forest, then out jumped a monster of an immense size.

Vivi fell back into the logs again, startled by the sudden ambush. He tried to get up, but was stuck as usual. "Zidane! Zidane! Monster!" Zidane moved slowly and peered over the blanket at Vivi trapped.

"Vivi... what are you doing?" He moved a little more up and noticed the drooling creature before him. "Woah!" Zidane jumped from his lying down stance to a standing one, dagger drawn. vivi finally managed to get up and went to Zidane's side.

"He just appeared," Vivi informed.

"Well, that's okay. Let's just take care of him." With that, the two readied for combat, Zidane flashing his dagger, Vivi powering his magic.

The beast seemed to be of a scaled parasite. Its legs were that of a pointed structure which clasped into the ground like grappling hooks. The face had seemed to be hidden under a natural helmet that hid burning eyes of a glowing, red appearance.

Immediately, the beast found its way towards the small structure of Vivi, and lunged in an attempt to cut him down. However, this was a failed attempt as the little mage stepped aside swiftly and knocked it on the head with its staff. After this Vivi ran for cover behind a pile of wooden crates that would provide cover for the time being, the others were in no state to fight in which they ran to seek cover.

After the charge of people, Vivi threw down his staff and held out his arms and hands to form a flat surface in the palms. This was to now focus enough magic for a powerful attack. Meanwhile, Vivi yelled at Zidane, ''Stall him!''

It was now Zidane's turn. As adrenaline bursted through his veins, Zidane began to run around to encircle the stunned beat in an act of confusions. This was the only way to buy time. After the beast had regained its aggresion, it was now a chance for Zidane unleash his new practiced combo.

Unsheathing his second dagger, Zidane jumped onto the leant-on create and somersaulted off of the surface. With a yell of anger, Zidane stuck the dueling daggers below him in an attempt to pierce the spinal column of the beast. However, the beast had already moved out of the way.

''Oh great!'' Zidane shouted in midair in realisation of the length of time the combination had taken.

After landing on his buttocks, Zidane stared at the pacing beast that was heading over to him with a raised spike, this was followed by a desperate yell from Vivi, ''Zidane, get out of the way!''

Following the order, Zidane quickly got up and dived out of the way of Vivi's incantation, it was an ice spell with the infused power of three charges. After contact, the beast let out a screach and was petrified in a layer of ice.

Breathing heavily, Zidane tearily eyed shouted, ''Wake me up next time you hear something okay!?''

It was past five minutes, and the boy was still swimming through the ocean's waves like some colorful dolphin. Auron was patient, but it was time for Tidus to come out already. The Crimson Warrior knelt by the pier and watched Tidus swim about in circles. The blonde teen was swimming closer and closer to the pier. As soon as he was close enough, Auron would reach out for his shoulder and yank him out.
Tidus' full circle movement neared the wooden pier and Auron tensed himself. He shot his gloved hand out and--
"Gotcha!"
Auron gave a startled yell as Tidus gripped his glove and pulled him into the ocean. Tidus flopped on his back and floated there, laughing his head off. Auron's head broke the surface, his black and white hair pasted to his head, his shades tilted crazily. His mind ran through several hideous obscenities, but Auron chose to remain silent, contenting himself with a dark glare.
Tidus was still laughing until Auron pushed him underwater. "What the heck was that for?"
"I would ask you the same thing, but instead, I'm sinply going to remind you we were supposed to leave already."
"What's so important that you have to crimp on my Blitzball practice?"
"Something inside Kilika Forest. Do you recall when Sin pulled us out of your Zanarkand and left us here in Spira via a warp hole?"
The whole episode still left a bad taste in Tidus' mouth and he grimaced. "What about it?" he asked bitterly.
"There seems to be a very small version of that in the forest. I suggest we keep an eye on it, just in case."
"Why don't you keep an eye on it and let me practice. Just let me know if anything happens."
Auron climbed back up on the pier and hauled Tidus out by his wet collar. "That would be a waste of time if 'anything' was serious."
Tidus scowled. "C'mon, Auron..."
But Auron wouldn't hear of it. "Let's go."

Vivi grinned at the sight of the defeated mongrol. "I tried my best." He wobbled back to the fire as Zidane pushed the ice cream along. It was lighter than it seemed. Once he tossed it down a hill where it crashed into a tree and cracked in two, Zidane drearily approached his blanket and curled back up.

"You sure you can watch over the camp, Vivi, old pal?"

"Don't worry about a thing." Vivi patted his chest as he continued, "I'll take care of you guys as well as I take care of myself."

Zidane rolled over and pulled the blanket up. "That's what I'm afraid of," he said, his voice muffled by the fabric. Soon enough, Zidane was dozed off once more and Vivi was left to stand guard. The others had also fallen back asleep in exhaustion.

Vivi himself was feeling rather woozy from the attack. His magic was drained greatly from his spell and therefore almost made him collapse in an instant. Pulling his hat up more to look at the sky above, he lay back and watched the dark blue that showed through the small holes of the canopy.

The moon was seen. It was quite beautiful. It made Vivi wonder thoughts of misleading ponder. He sighed as he continued watching the stars pattern the blanket of night sky. It was good to be him he had thought. With so many good friends like Zidane and Garnet, who needed a home or place to stay? Adventure was his home and his friends were what gave him the feel for life.

He put his hands behind his head and crossed one leg over the other, taping his foot in the air. He began whistling to keep himself company and before he knew it, he too dozed off for the rest of the night.

Wake up Zidane,
It'll all come together soon,

..........................
WAKE UP!

Zidane's eye lids swiftly slid upwards in order for light to gain entry into Zidane's pupils. This voice that Zidane had heard was accompanied by a picth black background with a mystic haze that seemed to give off small beams of light every now and then. It was a distant premonition.

Forgetting what had just occurred by the thought that it was only a meaningless dream, Zidane clasped his fists around his shoulders as the freezing cold, morning air made a quick blow onto his face. It was like any other camping morning, dew laid down on any surface that was within the atmosphere, and the grass laid still at the sound of wildlife that had habitats in the forest.

Staying paralyzed to try and insulate the warmth within the blanket, Zidane found that Vivi and the others had made a fire of whcih it was time for the first meal of the day, breakfast. As the warm scent of dragon meat stew with papa juice reached Zidane's nostrils, he immediately jumped up to join the others.

Leaving his blanket behind, Zidane sat next to Vivi and began to stare into the deeper forest regions.

''You think anything's in there Vivi?'' Zidane asked curiously. This was as he gathered his pot for his meal to be placed into it.

''I don't know, but no doubtedly, you want to find out.'' Vivi said in a somewhat sarcastic tone. This was unlike Vivi as he was usually open minded to escapades.

''Well okay, you and me, we'll look for some more fire wood so we can use it tonight for whereever we're going. But while doing this, let's explore the forest.'' Zidane stated muffled by the large amounts of food in his jaws.

After everyone had eaten, Zidane placed the pot on the dirt and umped up to walk over and gather his daggers. After preparing themselves, the little thief and black mage wandered into the nearest alcove of which they'd search for some excitement. Or so they hoped.

IC:

"She said nothing, really," Squall blushed. Walking up the staricase and into his quaters. Taking his shirt off, he layed down on the bed and went to sleep.

*flash*

"Rinoa!" yelled Squall, as he reached for the hanging girl. Rinoa hung on by a strap off the side of the moving Ballamb Garden.

"Squall! HELP ME!" yelled the scared Rinoa.

"ZELL! IRVINE! SELPHIE! GO GET QUISTIS! NOW!" yelled Squall. The four ran off to get Quistis. Squall looked at Rinoa and she looked back. Squall let a tear drip on Rinoa's face.

Suddenly, Rinoa's eyes went blood red. She let go of the strap, and started to fall, laughing evilly. Squal screamed as loud as he could, then was plunged into a portal of darkness.

Sephiroth stood looking at the perky ninja, he vaugely remembered her as being one of Cloud's friends and one of the people who helped in defeating him. He smirked a little more as he sheathed the Masamune and sat back down at his table; the girl walked over to and plopped down onto one of the cushions.

"I can't believe you're alive, I mean I could have sworn Cloud had killed you off once and for all." She said absently as if it were old news. Sephiroth took a sip of the coffee and gagged on it; it had gone cold and was now like a cold sludge that slid down his throat

"How long have I been gone?" The silver-haired warrior asked puzzled as he flicked aside one of his silver bangs.

"About 3 years. Midgar is in ruins and everyone has left it. World has changed since that day. But yeah, I still can't believe you're alive. Anyways you still bent on conquering the world and what not?" She asked eyeing him.

"pffft. Please, I have better things to do now then conquer worlds and crap. I thought I had been brought back to the world of the living to help save the world. I mean honestly I simply....."

Sephiroth was cut short when they heard what sounded like a building falling in, the two ran outside with their weapons at the ready when they suddenly were falling into some kind of portal.

Meanwhile the residents of Wutai peered out from their windows at what had happened. Yuffie and what appeared to be Sephiroth had just fallen into a large black hole and it had re-sealed itself as soon as they had fallen.

Zell held back his laughter, he knew what Rinoa said to him was something interesting to curious people. He merely shrugged, deciding that Squall had his right to privacy. So he made his way to the training center.

He entered the green, forest like area, and started walking around. Encountering the various monsters that lurked around. But eventually he found himself facing a T-Rex, and the next he remembered he was in the Infirmary, looking at the doctor.

"You're very lucky Zell," The doctor said, as she put a few more bandages on him. He closed his eyes again, then had the feeling he was falling. Little did he know that he was falling through a dark portal.

Finally the deafening screaming came to an end and Sephiroth sighed mentally; but this peace was coming to an end seeing as how the duo could see a bright light at the end of this dark pit. The young ninja brought herself into a landing position as did the sliver-haired warrior but it was less obvious. Unfortunately they didn't fall out of the sky, they were coming out of the ground; this didn't go over well with either of them seeing as how they found themselves laying on the ground, thankfully it wasn't hard stone, but it was a soft dirt path that was surrounded by a wonderful tropical forest. Sephiroth stood up and brushed himself off; Yuffie followed suit.

"Where are we?" She said with a hint of anxiety. Sephiroth shook his head and muttered.

"No idea, but wherever it is it's a lot more cleaner than our planet."

The forest was nicely laid out, much more beatiful in the morning, with the early sun's rays and all. Vivi wobbled over to a tree and admired a squirrel-like animal that scurried along the branches high above. Zidane pawed a branch on one of his own trees and swiftly chopped it off with a dagger he pulled out at lightning speed.

"This'll do for one." Zidane turned and looked at Vivi, curious. "What's wrong?" Vivi didn't answer so Zidane approached more. "What is it?"

Vivi pointed upward. Zidane followed Vivi's point up to the canopy. There was the squirrel creature. "Ya? A squirrel?"

"That's not squirrel." Vivi admired it, trusting his sense and not the animal.

"Well, come along. We've gotta gather more firewood. The others might wonder where we have gotten to if we take too long." Zidane picked up another small log that was in his path and he started down. He was suddenly gone with nothing more than a yelp.

Vivi turned to where Zidane once was. He approached the scene and almost fell through a hole in the ground. It was obviously a used trap since some branch and grass were lined around the hole, obviously used to cover it.

"You down there, Zidane?" He looked closer and cupped his hands around his face. "Hey! Zidane?" Suddenly, the ground under Vivi's boots began to give way and Vivi took a tumble down. As he fell into the darkness, he looked up. There was the squirrel watching, cackling like a witch as he fell through to another dimension.

Zidane heard Vivi's scream that were being called out simulatenously with his, hence he looked upwards to find Vivi attempting to cast any spell that would give them, a boost upwards, but with no avail.

''Fire, no that's not right, Demi, no that'd make our fall harder! I know Float!'' Vivi thought in anxiety and in desperation as he was determined not to die today.

Zidane stared at Vivi as he held downwards his staff and light began to form a surface between them both. After a few seconds, the duo were flat on their faces in the magical surface. Zidane stayed there, praying for his own life in an attempt to hover back upwards, but no exit could be seen. The hole they had fallen in was now a swaying motion of bright colours and wind.

''Vivi. How long do these things last!?'' Zidane shouted in panic as he stared at the light losing it's glow.

''I...I dont know!'' Vivi shouted, this caused the light to then fade away, and their fall returned from its halt.

As Zidane fell, he closed his eyes, wishing for a way to survive and in confusion Vivi began to tumble in all sorts of directions. All of a sudden, the sound of the winds halted and everything went dark.

Zidane awoke to see bright sunlight glistening on his face. It was comforting, and yet, fearsome. Looking around, Zidane sat up to the view of a beautiful tropical forest that was surrounded by water and a tide that hit white sands constantly. In confusion and question, Zidane found Vivi lying in a surface of dirt and grass that must have broken his fall.

Vivi looks up and sees Auron with Tidus!

jk :P

------------------

Lifting himself up eventually, Vivi spat out grass and dirt from the blackness that was his head. Or called his head, at least. He stood up and brushed himself off as did Zidane. They looked around at the new world.

"What is this place?" Zidane curiously asked.

Vivi admired the trees. They were so beautiful compared to the ones in the forest they just appeared in in what seemed like years ago. "I couldn't say." As he turned to look at another direction, his hat swayed over a little and he ended up adjusting it again.

The two of them questioned their surroundings further. "You think," Zidane began, "That this may be... another continent? That we fell straight through the earth and to the other side?"

Vivi got down on his knees and patted the soil. "Could be," he replied solemnly. "Or..." he started. Zidane turned in his direction.

"Or?"

"We're somewhere else."

"We already figured that," Zidane mocked.

"No, no. I mean, we are in another world. Or even time." The two of them thought of this when suddenly, something unexpected occured.

Blue and pink smoke swirled past my eyes, only a few feet away. I reached out to touch it, but suddenly I was miles from it. I didn't know whether to be scared or euphoric. It was a gentle feeling, like a soft current sweeping over my body. But there was also a feeling of nothingness; no boundaries, nothing concrete to hold onto. So much of it was uncertain.

And then, as suddenly as it had begun, the sensation changed into something else entirely. The feeling of being weightless and breathless subsided and now, there was a definite feeling of balance. A feeling of warm air and a sound of crashing waves and the laughter of children. And finally, my eyes opened to the brightest sunlight that I'd seen in a long time. My eyes adjusted and there I was, laying on the familiar wooden boardwalk. I stood up and checked myself over, to make sure that nothing was missing (and thankfully nothing was). Immediately, though, I noticed changes. No Youth Union flags. And the buildings looked a little older...was it just me? Had I bumped my head so hard that I didn't remember? Had I even bumped my head at all?

Sorry about the relatively short post. Zidargh is right; first posts are hard. X_X

My character is in Kilika by the way, incase someone wants to meet up with 'im.

Yuffie flipped her shuriken in the air, catching it deftly while turning to face Sephiroth. She smiled at him and he stared back.

Sephiroth: How can you always be so happy? You're Jenova knows how far away from home... with little chance of getting back. And you're still smiling.

Yuffie: Being depressed slows you down. I want to be prepared for whatever's out there. And if I never get home...hey, I was prone to wander.

She grinned again and he shook his head, smiling slightly. Her optomisim was a striking contrast to his own outlook on life. They kept walking....and soon came upon a tall male, wearing long....was it robes? Yuffie bounded forwards, smiled and introduced herself.

Yuffie: Hi, we're not the only ones here Sephiroth!

Sephiroth: .....yay.

Yuffie: I'm the Great Ninja Yuffie! What's your name.

He stared.

Yuffie: ...uh...

OOC: Ignores Raiha's drunken post, meh.
--------------
Zidane began to tremble, he was not used to new surroundings, let alone unexplained surroundings. Falling to his knees, Zidane cupped his hands and placed them onto his eyes and cheeks, this was his only form of dependance, to let it all out. No matter what the atmosphere was like, he was scared, scared like he had never been before.

''Argh! Why!?'' Zidane screamed as if asking a rhetorical question. This was shouted as he formed a crawling position looking downwards. Vivi found Zidane's response unlike him and stumbled over in which he placed his gloved hands onto Zidane's back.

''You've got me Zidane.'' Zidane whispered softly as he patted him on the back.

''...I know.'' Zidane looked up at the sunshine and supported himself to stand up as he smiled at Zidane in a sign of recognition and gratitude for Vivi's kindness. It fell quiet as the duo pondered in their own mental monologue for a split second. All of a second, the silence had broken.

???:''...Sano.'' Spoke a mysterious voice that had faded off into the distance. Someone was there, possibly behind the rock crevasse.

In excitement, Zidane ran to the large rock formation that stood beside the forest onto the beach. Running into the water as his pace began to become much slower, Zidane grasped the rock and peered round to see a sillhouette of a trio. The other shadows were not far away but the sun made a huge contrast as the wooden decking reflected the sun's rays.

''Hey Vivi! Come over here!'' Zidane ordered in a more cheerful sense.

In return, Vivi successfully charged towards the rock formation to also peer around in order to examine what Zidane had become so cheerful about.

''What do ya' think of it?'' Zidane peered down at Vivi to witness the glowing eyes narrowed.

''I... I dont know. Shall we find out?'' Vivi said with a tremble in his voice as he realised he was not the most adequate of swimmers.

''Of course!'' Zidane shouted as he began to paddle into the ocean. This was without looking back at Vivi as he knew, no doubt about it, he would follow either way.

So it was with this, the duo began to head towards the mysterious trio that seemed to be on another beachside. However, that beach seemed more inhabited than this one.

Rinoa: Monster, get away from me.

She looked around and saw a boy with a tale.
