"Fiends in the stadium. Again?" Auron snorted. Someone was really starting to suffer from creative juices. But he had a feeling the people who did it last time were not responsible this time.
Hoisting his sword, he turned his head slightly at a scream. "No rest for the bored...and how bored I was, too." Another Ahriman dove down and Auron growled. Too agile for him.
The Nidrogg that stomped and growled on the walkway, however, was perfect. It shot a blast that would put a flamethrower to shame, leaving a sizable hole in one of the buildings.
"Pitiful!" Auron scoffed. He swung his blade in a wide arch then ran at the ground dragon; the Masamune sweeped into the creature just once, and it collapsed, torn neatly in two. Auron didn't bother to watch the pyreflies fly out of it, but instead turned to see how the others were fairing.

[Raiha]

[COLOR=royalblue][i]Yuffie was in what could only be described as a figher's trance. Her shuriken was the size of her torso, being wielded like it was an extention of her body. Her Contain materia either knocked monsters out on the spot, froze, or petrified them without delay. She turned and came face to face with a.....whatever the monstrosity was. She took a step back, feeling the light blue materia in her palm. It reacted, green and white glow. She held it out and her hair flew behind her.

Instantly, the huge water god, Leviathin, burst upwards from the ground beneath her. She smiled and sat on his head, holding onto his horns. It reared back, then slammed down in a Wave attack. The monster shrieked and disapeared. Leviathin shrieked with pleasure and let himself be petted. Then Yuffie dismissed him and landed in a double flip.[/i][/COLOR]

[Domon]

[COLOR=darkblue][i]Sephiroth had a firm grip on the Masamune as he glared at the large monster that looked like a Behemoth except it had gray hair and strange markings.[/i]

"A Behemoth King, I'm amazed one got into Luca, those only existed within Sin. Anyways, be careful. Once it dies it casts Meteor." [i]Sephiroth grinned as he looked at the others and threw his coat to the side and unfurled his wing. That would automatically cast Shield on all of them and protect them.[/i]

"Okay time to die!" [i]The silver haired warrior and Auron charged with their weapons drawn but to their dismay this Behemoth King lived up to its name and slammed them out of the way with its massive arms. Squall blasted it with his Thundara magic but to no avail, Rikku shot forwards and stole what appeared to be a grendae and then chucked it right at the beast, Lulu's doll jumped out of her arms and spun around as she too cast a thunder spell except it was Thundaga but it too did nothing. Wakka only managed to blind it but that still didn't do anything, but Yuna stood there with her summoner's rod.[/i]

"Everyone get back! I'm going to summon!!" [i]Auron winced, if she could summon still than something was wrong. Sephiroth looked at her but got the picture and bailed as did everyone else. Yuna then appeared to perform an intracite dance and then the stone floor tore open and out shot chains and then what appeared to be a massive shell but then it opened and revealed a monster or more likely a summon. Everyone in the stadium seemed to freeze as the Aeon screamed/wailed in her normal tone and then she blasted the monster into oblivion but not before it cast its Meteor attack but that hardly made Anima flinch. After the fiend was destroyed Yuna dismissed her and Auron walked back over to Yuna with a look of concern.[/i][/COLOR]

[Raiha]

[COLOR=royalblue][i]She moved from her vantage point, folding her shuriken away. Yuffie blinked, and then smiled slightly. Very fascinating. Definetly a summoner by nature. And not like her.

Yuna waved off her fussing friend and straightened the sleeves of her shirt. She looked barely drained, but slightly pale, from Yuffie's point of view. Sephiroth came up behind her, wing closing back. He put his hand on her shoulder and she looked up, smiling.[/i]

Sephiroth: I saw that stunt you pulled.

Yuffie: Stunt?

Sephiroth: Summoning Leviathin like that.

Yuffie: We're bonded. I grow and he grows with me.

Sephiroth: I'm sure.

[i]She winked and tapped the side of her head.[/i][/COLOR]

"Yuna," Auron said in a no-nonsense tone.
"Yes, Sir Auron?"
"You can still summon?"
"Yes...?"
Auron scratched at the beard stubble on his chin. [i]But I thought...[/i] "Interesting."
"Why?"
"Hmm? Oh...no...no reason." Auron turned to walk away and deal with another fiend tormenting a fish seller.
Yuna watching his crimson back walk away. "You're more like Tidus than you think, Sir Auron. You're a terrible liar."

The Aeons. Yuna could call them. And Squall and Yuffie had done likewise. Auron felt a twinge of apprehension, though he was not sure why.

He had always wondered if things had been different at the Zanarkand Ruins all those years ago. If he had...
Auron shook his head roughly and gave a battle roar as he tore into a Bunyip. The fiend snarled and slumped down, pyreflies wailing as they floated away.
[i]Concentrate.[/i]
Feathers flashed across his mind's eye, a single golden russet eye glared at him from with a wild face, the beak splitting open to scream into the wind.
Auron grunted as the Iguion nipped at him and he slashed back. Another dead fiend.
The image in his mind's eye took flight and disappeared.
"Sir Auron!"
"...Yuna?" Auron felt slightly dizzy, almost embarrassed. As if Yuna knew what had just happened.
He had seen himself as an Aeon.

OOC: Can anyone help me pick up with this party. GinnyLyn I dont wanna throw it o you so I'm gonna try to PM the other 3 who are with me(since they haven't been posting) so we can keep this party's momentum going.

As Rinoa and the others walked down Gagazet, they soon found out that snow and cold wind was the least of their worries. They ran into a bunch of creaturs. Some flew some loooked like giant wolves and one was like a giant bear. She didn't know the names yet but Tiuds said their names and knew what the big one was called. Behemoth, ans he was a kinda nasty one.
Not only did Rinoa had so sommon a Gaurdian Force, but Tidus had to go into his best mode which he called Overdrive. Vivi had to cast fire magic...a lot and well Zell he fought as hard as he could. Zell still had a few magic tricks to use...but he saved them till late in the battle.
After the figthts they kept running into on the mountain the gang sure was happy to get off it. In the small canyon everyone gathered their energy while Rinoa and Zell cast a few Cura spells to make sure everyones was fine. After Tidus caught his breath he looked over to Rinoa annd walked up to her eyes burning with many questions.

"Um, are you a summoner?"

"No, I'm not, you know Kilmahri asked me the same thing!"

"Well what was that creature that you called out?"

Remembering the Behemoth fight, she played into her mind which GF she called.

"Oh, that was Ifrit, he's our fire Gaurdian Force,GF!"

"Well he looks different then the Infit Yuna can summon, but she calls them aeons, and why did you make him disappear right after he attacked?"

"We don't control them. They just come. Do their attack and go. They are like helpers, they dont stay and fight in our steed. They do that for you?"

"Yeah, but Yuna's the only one who can, um I mean [I]could[/I] do that," Tidus' voice lowered as he looked off.

"You like her don't you," Rinoa picked up on the tone quickly.

"Well, Yes, I do, but can we not talk about that today. We gotta get to the Calm Lands. We'll camp there for the night. We arent far now but still with the amount of fiend activity going on, we'll need the rest."

Everyone nodded in agreement. Following Tidus through the Canyon. [/COLOR]

[Patronus]

[size=1][color=000066][b]Squall ran through a line of fiends, slicing each one and almost over killing them. He turned around, held out the gunblade, and fired. The bullet went between Auron and Sephiroth, and into the fiends head they were fighting.

"Thundara!" he head Lulu yelled. The monster in front of her wilted and died. He looked behind him and watched as Yuffie, Yuna, and Rikku fought three monsters. [I]Just like before...[/i]

"Squall!" yelled Auron, running and slashing a fiend who was about to attack him. "You need to pay more attention." Squall nodded, then ran off into the main section of the stadium. In the very middle, and about fifty feet up, a woman with white hair and black clothing was floating.

"Who are you?!" yelled Squall.

"The name is Dymecia," she replied, "and I'm here to destroy you." With a snap of her figure, hundreds of fiends surrounded the group who had caught up with Squall

[Raiha]

[COLOR=royalblue][i]Yuffie leapt upwards, springing off Sephiroth's shoulders, and into the first wave of monsters. She held out her magicked shuriken and banished twenty with one spoken word. The woman blinked, and then vented her spleen on her without delay, former grudge against Squall forgotten for a moment or two.

Yuffie ducked under her sabre easily, backflipping out of range, before pelting her with smaller throwing stars, and one painful metal oritsu. She deflected most of them, but got caught by the oritsu. In the right thigh. Yuffie jumped back, and threw herself into the masses of slobbering monsters, overjoyed.

Her senses absorbed the feelings around her, the Leviathin within charging up her body. Pale blue eyes, replacing the brown and red. She laughed and Sephiroth shook his head. Too much fun. She was bleeding in a dozen different places, and bruised, but still having a great time.

Leviathin swirled to life underneath her and charged the ranks of monsters. Rikku jumped up beside her and continued dealing the damage out.[/i][/COLOR]

[Dragon Warrior]

The Calm Lands were peaceful. A quiet rush of wind swept across and Vivi was forced to fix his hat, as always. The group drifted into the Calm Lands and then set up camp for the night. Vivi, not living in this world before, still felt uneasy of his surroundings. He wobbled towards Zidane who help set up a fire.

"Zidane..."

"Yeah?" Zidane replied, not looking up from his work.

"These Calm Lands... well, they make me feel uneasy." Zidane looked up at Vivi's illuminating eyes.

"What could be so bad about them?" Vivi looked up at the sky.

"Behemoths?"

"Rinoa summoned that."

"I still don't trust it." Vivi plopped down next to Zidane. Rinoa kept busy with preparing some food to cook and Zell and Tidus set up camp.

"Relax, Vivi." Zidane swung his tail to and fro. "It'll be dawn soon and we can all just move along and out of these 'Calm land.'" Vivi frowned, though one couldn't tell.

"Okay..." Vivi laid back as Zidane fussed with the fire.

"Hey, Vivi. A little help?"

"Oh, sorry." Vivi sat up and cast a small fire spell on the wood and a nice flame started.

"Better. Thanks."


It was late that night when Vivi reawoke because of the uneasiness he felt. He got up and decided to go for a walk. Not too far, he decided. He shunned the thought of being captured the jagged jaws of a behemoth. Or even... Ifrit.

"Hm. Calm Lands. Sounds dangerous to me..." He looked up and saw something twinkle in the distance. He squinted at it, but it didn't come into focus. It was getting bigger and getting nearer. "What the..." Suddenly, a large lizard monster charged at Vivi. He squeaked and started running back towards camp.

He tripped over his clumsy self and shouted towards the camp. "MONSTER!"

[Hinata]

[COLOR=blue]Rinoa heard Vivi's call and woke up. She kicked everyone lighty tryint to get them to help.

"C'mon guys, Vivi needs our help."

Zidane awoke too hearing the cry and so did Tidus, Zell was just in too deep of a sleep to e awoken and she left him behind by the fire. They ran to Viv who was now tryig to fight off the large black lizard creautre.

"That's an Anaconduar, be careful he can turn you to stone." Tidus said.

"Well help me out before-" Vivi was stopped in the middle of his sentence and everyine looked on in horror as they saw him being turned to stone.

"No, Vivi," Zidane yelled.

"Hurry go use a soft on him before its too late, Rinoa and I will distract then fiend." Tidus said quickly while he and Rinoa ran over to the fiend who now came after them.

Zidane scambled to Vivi and threw the potion on him. Whithin a few minutes he was back to his normal self.

"What happened to me," Vivi asked.

"I'll tell you later for now we gotta go help Rinoa and Tidus."

They ran back over to the two who were handling the monster quite well. Rinoa's Shooting Star helped to subdue the creature while Tidus moved in for a kill.

As the pyreflies rose from the creture the two of them slapped hands then walked over to Zidaen and Vivi.

"Vivi," Tidus asked. "Are you okay?"

"Yeah I'll be fine. Thanks alot for helping me!"

"Don't worry about it!"

"Yeah besides I know you'll do the same for us." Rinoa said knelling down to him. Now all I gotta do is show you not to be scared of the GF's."

She headed back to the camp and kicked Zell in the butt. He still didn't move.

"Gosh I swear, he is the heaviest sleeper I know."

[/COLOR]

[Domon]

[COLOR=darkblue][i]Sephiroth looked at this woman, if that's what she was and then back at Yuffie who was still having fun. This was just plain annoying. He had ditched his trenchcoat and gloves and had gone into a frenzy but now even more fiends were coming at him and it was just plain annoying.[/i]

"Damn freaks why won't you die!?!?!?" [i]The silver-haired warrior yelled as his wing remained flared as he brought the Masamune around in a wide horizontal arc killing at least 10 fiends, the fell dead and in an instant disappeared as pyreflies. Dammit he wished he had some kind of summoning Materia, then maybe he could summon Alexander or something.

After killing a few dozen more fiends Sephiroth caught glimpse of a woman floating in the center of the stadium with blood red eyes that seemed to be filled with malice and hate. But his attention was soon drawn away from her as he noticed Yuna doing another summoning this time a large dragon appeared at her side.[/i]

"Is that Bahamut or is it a different dragon?!!?" [i]Sephiroth yelled at Lulu who nodded.[/i]

"It is Bahamut the king of dragons and one of the most powerful Aeons." [/i]Sephiroth knowing what the Bahamut from his world was capable of mass destruction got behind the dragon as it jumped up and flew backwards and landed on all fours and then the massive golden ring on his back began spinning faster until the ebony dragon fired off a massive energy blast which destroyed at least half the fiends but also put a really big hole in the stadium's eastern wall.[/i][/COLOR]

[Raiha]

[COLOR=royalblue]Yuffie: Ouch.

Rikku: At least it worked.

Yuffie: And the stadium got remodeled.

Rikku: Yeah, permanently.

[i]The two roared with laughter at their own wit, and continued wrecking devastation on the monsters at will. Yuffie destroyed six with one spin of her shuriken, the Contain materia knocking another four into petrification. She smiled and destroyed them with several of her smaller, less important oritsu.

Sephiroth glanced in her direction. Overjoyed. As usual. Give her a fight and she'll show you a good time. Leviathin decimated at least twelve monsters with a wave attack, his tail destroying several more. That blue water serpent was getting better.[/i][/COLOR]

[Dmitri_Dragoon]

OOC: I am deeply, extremely, truly sorry. I died, went to hell and was ressurected, a.k.a. band camp. Now I should be posting more than I was.


IC: Zell felt the kick in the butt, but he didn't feel like stirring just yet. He dozed for about another five minutes before he moved, even though he didn't want to, he knew he had better get up, he had a feeling that something worse would happen to him if he didn't.

Zell sat up and stretched his arms, letting out a long obnoxious yawn. "So what did I miss?" He ask somewhat sleepily. He started to rub the sleep out of his eyes as Rinoa gave him an inscrupulous stare.

"Now you wake up!" Rinoa practically shrieked. She couldn't believe him, he woke up after being yelled at, having a battle fought not to far away, and being kicked in the butt. Now he was acting as if nothing had happened.

Zell just gave a confused look and ran his hand through his hair. "I take it I am missing something?"

Rinoa sighed, she couldn't believe her luck, of all the people to be stuck with. "Yes, you did miss something O' Sleepy One. We just got in a battle with a good sized monster, and Vivi was almost turned to stone."

Zell blinked several times, letting the brief low-down sink into his brain. Then it finally dawned on him what had happened, "I can't believe I slept through all that.. Rinoa, next time, do something a little harder to wake me up. I don't want to miss anything again." He kept cursing himself, for being such a great dolt, he had to change his ways, or very few would have respect for him.

[Hinata]

Rinoa scoffed at Zell's remarks.

"Well thats what you get? Next time you'll hear people when they call you."

She looked Zell square in the eyes as the fire still crackled hard. Luckily it hadn't gone out just yet and she sat there staring at the flames. She laid back down and just tried to think pleasent thoughs as she drifted back off to sleep. She stared at the night sky and heard the cries and howls of distant fiends. It seems the fire kept them at bay for the time being and she was greatful for that. But she still knew that it was going to be a very, very long night. She dozed in and out for what seemed like and eternity until she felt herself being awakened yet again.

"What do you want," she said sleepily.

"C'mon Rinoa, wake up and let's go!"

The voice sounded familar and she opened he eyes. It was Squall. She looked at him qucikly and hugged him very hard.

"How did you get here..when..." the questions soon flew out the window and she found her lips locked with his. "You don't know how much I missed you, she said pulling away from him and being embraced by him once more."

"Well I'm happy to."

"As she looked at him again something was different. His eyes, they weren't his, they glowed red, the same red that she saw right after she went through the worm hole in Balamb.

"Who are you," she said worried backing away.

"I- I am your fate." The voice had changed now, It was a womans voice, but she still kept Squall's body. "Now...DIE!"

The person came at her once more as she screamed out trying to flee.

"Let me go," she mangaged to get out.

"Rinoa," the voice called out to her, and she grabbed her and kept repeating her name...."Rinoa."

A few minutes later the voice changed and sounded liek Zell. Feeling herself being shaked she slowly woke up.

"Wake up girl, you were having a bad dream. C'mon wake up."

"You were saying Squall, then let go of me. Kind of confusing," Zell said, with a worried look in his eyes. He hoped the little information he gave her would refresh her memory enough that she might tell him what had happened in her nightmare.

After his very recent scolding Zell had decided to stay up for the remainder of the night, while everyone else slept, hopefully it would smooth things over with everyone, he doubted it but he could wish. Though he knew that he would pay for this the next day.

Zell did something that he did not care to do much. He dug deep into his mind to bring out a side of him that few ever saw. He figured with Squall not there, he had to do something to help comfort Rinoa. He sighed mentally, "Rinoa, I don't do this much, but when i have to be, I can be a good listener."

Rinoa raised an eyebrow, "Meaning?"

Zell ran a hand through his hair again, "Meaning, if it would make you feel better, you can tell me about the dream, sometimes talking about it helps." He hoped she did tell him what happened in the dream. He hadn't seen her appear this troubled in quite some time.

[Hinata]

Rinoa looked at Zell. She never seen this side to him before but she knew that he was always one to back you up if you needed help. She got up and went over to him and sat down. Not really looking at him she seemed to stare back and forth into the sky.

"Go ahead Rinoa, I'm listening."

She continued to look at the sky again. After a few moments of silence she finally began to speak.

"Its's it beautiful?"

"What are you talking about the dream?"

"No silly, the sky. I mean look at the stars and how clear it is.It reminds me of how I used to star gaze at home. But know things are just so different."

"How so?"

"I mean look at it, you don't recognize anything, it's just like your a stranger to this world. And we are. Nothinghere is familiar, well with the exception of you."

Zell laughed quickly but then thought about the comment.

"Are you talking about me?"

"It's nothing bad, trust me, not for you anyways, but I mean thats what's been happening in my dreams. I see Squall, but he becomes different. He tries to hurt me. I had another dream where Squall pushed me over a balcony and just smiled, he didn't try to help. He changed on me Zell, as if I no longer knew him, as if I was a stanger to him, as if I was....nothing."

Zell looked at Rinoa's face, he was how she became scared. He knew Rinoa was strong and he never seen her like this before. He just continued to hear her out, not interferring with her thoughts at all.

"But tonight, I saw why he was different, it wasn't actually Squall, but the person took is image and she tried to kill me. don't know who she is and why she wants me dead."

Rinoa didn't realize it but everyone else was also awakened by her talking and overheard the majority of the conversation.

"Well," Tidus started." You won't have to worry about that. We know you and you don't have to be scared."

"Yeah,"Vivi stood up and walked over to Rinoa. "We're friends now, and friends help each other out. Just like you looked out for me tonight. I'm gonna look otu for you. NO one will dare try to hurt any of us."

Rinoa's temperment changed a little and she stood up to hug Vivi.

"Thank you," she said," and I mean all of you. You just don't know how much that means."

OoC: Anyone who's played FFX and gone up against a Great Malboro (and done badly in the process) can sympathize with this next post.

Auron was fighting through the crowds of both people and fiends. The screams of terrified people rent through the air, but Auron ignored them, refusing to let their emotions seep into his. It was all about clearing the monsters out now.
He had gone on his own to a seperate part of the stadium, away from the others, and began his dance of destruction.
Step, swipe, slash, step, swipe, sla--
[i]Eagle scream.[/i]
--sh, step, swipe sla--
[i]Glint of ebony talons.[/i]
sh, step, swip--
[i]Black braided tail lashing out, medallion glinting on the end.[/i]
Auron was so lost in his forced, mechanical-like battling that he missed seeing the first few tentacles reach around the building's corner. The guttural snarl was the unheard prelude to a blast of rancid, putrid smoke.
It enveloped Auron instantly.
He was blinded--he couldn't see the Great Malboro, though he could hear it--or he thought he could. Was it the fiend...or was it this creature he kept seeing?
[i]Wings spread out.[/i]
Auron shifted his sword, peered into the black cloud ahead of him. This creature was distracting him, he had to drive it away.
[i]Russet eye glinting back at him.[/i]
Something drove Auron on in what others would call a sudden fit of Berserkerness. He slashed out, but the griffon creature darted out of his line of vision and into his blind spot on the right.
It was about this time that Yuffie, Rikku, and Sephiroth were running through the stadium for last minute fiend checks. Sephiroth spotted Auron against the Great Malboro, and motioned the two thieves to a stop.
[i]Black mane, streaked with white.[/i]
Enraged, Auron roared, swung the Masamune in a shimmering arch, but the griffon disappeared from his mind's eye completely. That's when the first powerful spasm of the Poison tore through his body. The Crimson Warrior gasped slightly and softly and dropped to one knee, balancing the sword precariously. He spotted a faint outline of the Great Malboro though the black haze around his eye and dashed forward, intent on impaling it. His sword clanged loudly against a broken wall, and the Great Malboro grunted in that guttural sound again, mocking the famous warrior monk for missing.
Auron turned to let his ears do the leading, when another poisonous spasm shot through his body. His blade clattered loudly to the ground, forgotten as he gripped his stomach in agony with his right arm. He was about to retch.
The Malboro snarled contentedly, drew a tentacle around the unfortunate Auron's neck, and began to squeeze ever so slightly. Head swimming, stomach heaving, terror gripping him, Auron tried once more to fight back. He picked up the Masamune and swung at what he thought was the Malboro.

"Oh GOD!" Yuffie exploded. "He just--he just--!"
"Auron!" Rikku shrieked in horror.
Sephiroth looked grim. "Confusion means you'll hit anyone. Even yourself. First things first--we kill the Malboro. Then we see if we can patch the old guy up."

OoC Again: Great Malboro+Bad Breath=party completed Confused, Poisoned, Berserked, Silenced, and Dark'ed. Ticked me off to no end the one time I had a Game Over because of that stupid thing.

[Domon]

[COLOR=darkblue][i]Sephiroth glared as the giant tentacled plant opened its wide maw in anticipation of devouring the monk but Sephiroth wouldn't allow that, he took his Masamune; hefted it like a javelin and threw it right into the fiend's side, it howled and screamed in pain as its own green blood and entrails spewed out like a fountain. The silver-haired warrior bolted towards Auron and as he neared closer to the Malbro he stopped, his boots kicking up small dust clouds and he lifted his left arm, opened his hand with the palm opened and facing towards the creature. He focused all of his fire magic into a large fireball that emittedn so much heat that the Marlbro seemed to wilt in response to it.[/i]

"Time to die." [i]Sephiroth said with a smirk and fired off the immense fireball. The creature caught fire and screamed in horror as it collapsed in a firey oozing pile, he walked causually over to what remained of the now charred corpse and pulled out his Masamune. Just then he remembered, Auron!! Sephiroth whirled on his heels and bolted back over to him, he was out cold but he was posioned and blinded so Sephiroth doing all that he thought he could do, he pulled out a Remedy and managed to pour it down Aurons mouth but that wound he had on his side was just too big, Yuna would have to do something about it but as she got closer a large crack started and just as she stepped on the cracked path it collapsed but Rikku saw this and grabbed her just before she went falling to a horrible death, her wand though was crushed and snapped into tiny bits.

As Sephiroth looked around he noticed that the other side of them was suffering the same fate it was like they were being cut off from the rest on purpose just then Dymecia floated down onto the portion of path that the silver-haired and crimson warriors were on, she walked past Auron giving him a look of evil pity and kicked him out of her way, he grunted in pain and Sephiroth grabbed the hilt of his sword, her eyes danced with that look, a look of pure hatred and malice but yet enjoyment of this hell she was creating. She obviously had done this before and had loved it so much that her eyes had become the color of the dammed as she looked like a demon from the depths of hell its very self, she walked even closer and spoke with a sultry voice that seemed not normal.[/i]

"Come Sephiroth, let us dance the tango of death." [i]She said as they both unsheathed their weapons.[/i][/COLOR]

[Raiha]

[COLOR=royalblue][i]Yuffie dismissed Leviathin and walked over to Auron. She brought her magic shuriken up over her head, then down in front of her face. Instantly, blue orbs of light surrounded them, healing instantly. He felt his wound vanish, and his mind become....

"Clear Tranquil."

He blinked, and Yuffie pulled him to his feet. Steadying him, handing him his sword.[/i]

Yuffie: Easy.

Auron: I'm fine.

Yuffie: Of course you are. So is Sephiroth for that matter.

[i]She pointed and he blinked again. Sephiroth and that bîtch staring down eachother behind the hilts of their blades.

Yuffie selected one of her smaller shurikens and flicked it between her fingers.[/i]

Rikku: What are you ...?

Yuffie: I could get her right between the eyes now....but Squall and Sephiroth would never forgive me....[/COLOR]

"You're right, you know." Auron swayed a little, but propped himself up against his massive sword. He reached out and batted the shuriken out of Yuffie's hand. The dark haired thief glared at him, and picked it up from where it had hit the ground.
Dymecia laughed haughtily. "So Squall sends his lackies to fight with me. How droll."
"Lackies?" Sephiroth growled. "Lady, I'll have you know--"
"Ah, and the old guy's moving again. Bra[i]vo[/i]."
Auron gritted his teeth, ignoring the minor after effects of the Malboro's attack.
"I swear I am so gonna--" Yuffie spat under her breath.
"Little girl," Dymecia spat back, "didn't anyone ever teach you not to play with sharp objects? Don't mess with me."
"Little girl? [i]Little GIRL?![/i]" Yuffie gripped her shuriken tightly, drawing a drop of dark crimson blood on her fingertip. "I'LL SHOW YOU--HEY!" Auron had lain a heavy hand on her shoulder and shook his head.
"Now if you'll excuse me..."
"HEY!" Sephiroth bellowed, "I don't draw my blade just to show off! Get yourself back here!"
Dymecia raised an eyebrow in a nasty grin. "Or else what?"

[Domon]

[COLOR=darkblue]"Or this!!!!!!!!" [i]Sephiroth bellowed as he swung the Masamune in a downward arc directly at Dymecia's head but three things happened at once it all looked like a blurr. Dymecia caught Sephiroth's blade with her bare hand, she then kicked Sephiroth directly in the stomach, Yuna than began a summoning but she was struck in the shoulder by one of Dymecia's daggers which sent her falling to the ground clutching her arm and side. Rikku screamed in horror as her cousin slumped down onto her side.

Auron stood there propped on his sword dumbstruck but then it hit him, the girl who he treated like a daughter was now injured and he had no idea how badly, he could feel the blood coursing through his veins even faster and faster.

Sephiroth still somewhat woozy stood up just as his Masamune came flying at his face, he managed to duck just as it buried itself in the stone. The *****, she shouldn't even be able to heft the blade, she must be a demon from the pits of hell. All he could think of was killing her. He brushed himself off and headed straight at her with his sword blade aimed right at her back.[/i]

"You still don't get it do you? Well, you'll just have to be taught the hard way." [i]She said with her back turned, just as he was a foot away from her he stopped and she turned around with those eyes glowing an even more hellish red than before, just as he stopped he found himself floating over the crumbled stadium walkway and then, he fell face first into the rubble but somehow managed to stay awake but his lip was split.

Meanwhile Auron stood there on top of the walkway with his anger rising beyond the normal limit, just then something unusual happened to the crimson warrior.[/i]

"Yunie," Rikku sobbed, clutching Yuna's head. "Please be ok!" She hastely uncorked an Al Bhed potion and gave it to Yuna, who took it gratefully. Yuna stopped and coughed in shock, pointing to Auron wordlessly. Rikku gasped as she looked at him, her gasp alerting everyone else to look as well.

Auron's single russet eye was quite wide now, flashing angrily. He propped himself up, then let his blade clatter to the ground, no longer needed as a crutch. As if in a dream, he could see the griffon creature again, swooping toward him in his mind's eye, joining with him, he could see out of the griffon's own single eye--
Dymecia sneered nastily. "Out of my way, old man; you got a chance to survive after that Malboro. Don't make me take it away."
Auron stepped toward her, slowly, deliberately. Yuna reached a hand out, as if trying to stop Auron. Sephiroth glared from his own positon--[i]crazy bastard's gonna get himself killed[/i]--and Yuffie stood still, her hands resting on her shuriken, ready to throw at a moment's notice.
Auron doubled over, at first looking like the Malboro's poison had gripped him again, but it hadn't. His crimson coat was suddenly ripped apart as an incredible pair of eagle wings burst out of his back, arching protectively. Another smaller pair formed around his neck, knocking his collar off and carrying his shades with it.
"What's going on?" Rikku cried out.
"Hell if I know!" Sephiroth snapped.
Dymecia drew her sword back, determined to stop this new potential threat here and now.
A feral avian scream tore the air, and Dymecia found herself staring at a half man, half griffon hybrid. The creature arched his arms high, the skin now being covered with scales and the fingers ending in vicious black talons. He growled as his spine contorted to fit that of a quadreped, his legs now that of a muscular lion's. He soon felt itchy all over and, giving his body a massive shake, was pleased in a detatched manner at the long braided tail that trailed behind him.
Dymecia cough, indifferent. "Impressive, but futual. Time to d--"
The [url=http://www.angelfire.com/weird2/elementis/Auronite.jpg]griffon[/url] screamed again, and lunged at her, his furious rage filling his every motion. Innocent blood had been spilt and he was extracting vengance. Dymecia was just barely able to pull back from the creature, but still suffered a deep wound in her arm where the griffon scored her deeply with his talons.
"Damned creature!" she hissed. She was bleeding. She wasn't supposed to bleed--that showed weakness, folly. She raised her sword once more; the griffon responded by holding his wings out, then, gathering light into his feathers, blasting it at her. Dymecia threw a shield up, deflecting the attack onto an already crumbling wall. It was dust now.
"I was only after Squall," Dymecia bellowed, "but now [i]all[/i] your heads have just been made forfeit. In that knowledge, suffer and die!" She hurled her sword at the griffon and disappeared.
Yuffie had acted fast and the sword was countered by her shuriken. The sword bit the stones, and the dark haired thief pretended to carelessly saunter over to pick up the shuriken. She couldn't help but be impressed.
"So, Fuzz," she said, "are you stuck like this now?"
The griffon winked his one eye at her in an unconcerned manner. Like some giant cat, he stretched his front legs out, then sat on his haunches. And turned back into Auron.
"Nice trick," Sephiroth groaned from his vantage point.
Auron looked a little baffled, but was already counting the advantage this unexpected new skill could have. "That makes two warriors with wings now," he said gruffly but kindly, leaning on his sword again. Tranformation took a lot out of you.

[Raiha]

[COLOR=royalblue][i]Yuffie grinned and leaned against herself, arms crossed easily, eyes half shut. The bleeding demon girl was doubled up in pain, obviously feeling more than usual. The female ninja spun the shuriken on her fingertip, then hurled it, before Auron could react. The blade caught her directly in the shoulder, severing a bone, rendering her left arm useless. That, and an added Contain spell....really took it to the max.

She was partialy petrified, not helped much by the shuriken that she couldn't remove. As she reached out to touch it, spiderlike threads grew from it's tips, sinking themselves into her flesh. Yuffie grinned and waved her fingers delicately.[/i]

Sephiroth: ...that's a new trick.

Yuffie: I picked it up from an old friend.

[i]The crimson warrior smiled. She didn't kill her....good. Save the fun for Squall. The ninja grinned again and backflipped lazily, legs moving slower than was possible, but still landing perfectly.[/i]

Dymecia: .....impudent...

Yuffie: Annoying brat. Yes, I've heard that before.[/COLOR]

[Domon]

[COLOR=darkblue][i]Sephiroth reached up to his mouth with his bare hand and saw the large splatter of blood on it, he obviously had a really big split in his lip, as he ascended the stairwell he smirked at the blood on his hand for no reason for it to be funny but he found it amusing for some sick reason. After reaching the walkway from which he fell from Sephiroth walked over to the fallen summoner and kneeled down and looked into her blue and green eyes which were now back to their normal calm state but he could see more than that, she was afraid, afraid of that hell spawn called Dymecia. He placed his gloved hand on her shoulder reassuringly and nodded.[/i]

"So old man, you been able to do this before or is this a new trick?" [i]The warrior gave Sephiroth a look of exhaustion and also it said "Don't try and be a comedian or I'll cut your very tounge out of your mouth." But Sephiroth had to push it.[/i]

"I guess the old saying is wrong, you CAN teach an old dog new tricks"

"Well, if I'm an old dog then your an annoying runt." [i]He replied cooly as he slumped against the wall and slipped into a sitting position.[/i]

"So did you like become one of those things that Yuna can summon?"

"If so then he must be his own fayth or something I really have no idea." [i]Yuna said with a voice of concern and anxiety. Sephiroth just looked between Yuna and Auron with a rather confused look.[/i]

"What the hell is a fayth?"[/COLOR]

Auron groaned, pressed his right arm against his chest, breathing heavily. "A fayth is a spirit of a person who is willing to become more. A summoner can call that fayth to be the more, to be the Aeon."
"But who summoned you?"
Auron grunted, shrugged.
Rikku had a funny look on her face. "I thought spirits were, you know, dead people and stuff. So you [i]can't[/i] be a fayth...um...can you? This Yevon stuff's all weird..."
Auron pushed his glasses up his nose and attempted to push himself upright via the wall he was slumping against. "Rikku--"
Yuffie screamed. "DAMN!" She threw another shuriken at Dymecia. "Don't you EVER give up?"
"Don't you?"
"Hey, Red, you got enough to do your fuzzy trick again?"
Auron shifted, sank to one knee, shook his head. "Still recovering."
"Admitting weakness. Tactical error." Dymecia grinned, though Yuffie couldn't see why. The demon lady was practically wounded beyond mobility herself.
