RPG Sailor Moon: Dark Kingdom Return

Miya Kenji, 16 years of age, sighed as she plopped down on the bus seat, hugging her backpack against her. Stupid school... Was it her fault that she hated algebra? Okay, fine, maybe it was...

She sighed again and leaned forward until her forehead was resting on the seat in front of her. She'd spent half the night making sure her short story for literature class was absolutely perfect, and hadn't had any time to study for the test. She just [i]knew[/i] she was going to fail algebra this semester. Again. She was years ahead of her class in terms of art and reading and writing, but several grades behind in science and math.

Yup, her life stunk.

((OOC: This starts out BEFORE any of the senshi have been awakened. So if a guardian beast would kindly show up and wake up Sailor Vega... XD Take your time dudes. Just letting you know that none of us know we're sailors yet.))

Amorrite drummed his fingers against the arm of his throne, deliberately yawning in his generals' faces. He didn't care if they knew he thought they were idiots. He had half a mind to go out and take over the world himself...

He snapped his fingers, deftly silencing his generals mid-report. "You bore me. Cardian, Hitotsu, Sparda, do as you like. Just bring me more pure hearts and energy! Now get going!"

After his generals had scurried away, he sighed and called a minor youma to bring him a glass of wine. He stared at it moodily for awhile, then drunk it down. How annoying... His generals hadn't failed yet, but still they brought only the smallest fraction of what Amorrite needed. If he was ever going to bring hsi love back from the dead and have her rule by his side, he needed more...

Kerika sighed as she sat down at her desk. She pulled out a black marker and started to draw evil smileys all over the top of the desk. Her mom opened the door and sighed as she noticed the desk.
" Sweetheart, Your really scaring me. "

" What did I do this time." Kerika mumbled.

"look Kerika" Her mom said sitting on her bed. "I respect your right to be...different but could you please wear color?"

Kerika rolled her eyes "Not this talk again."

Her mom sighed and stood up "ok, I'll back off...what do you want for dinner?'

Kerika "I'm not hungry..."

Her mom put her hands on her hips. "now look here young lady, I'll let you dress like that but your gunna eat as long as your under this roof."

"Whatever...hamburgers."

Her mom left shutting the door hard behind her. Kerika scowled why wouldn't everyone just leave her alone?

Nayan woke up slowly. Peering out from behind a branch she saw the world. People walked everywhere, tall trees and walls enclosed a busy building. It was noisy...after such a long time.
Nayan lifted a red gold wing. The sunlight bounced harshly around the pinions. Hopping closer to the throngs of people, Nayan stared on. She had her duty, to discover a Sailor Soldier, bring to a maximum potential.

What was the danger, though? Why was she called?
"Hmmm?" Directly in front of the beautiful bird, someone had opened a window. More people were inside, young people.
Flaring her blazing wings, Nayan fluttered over to the sill. Was that it?
A young girl was bent over something. Nayan stared hard, her amber eyes glinting. She felt something deep in her feathers. The girl raised her head and looked out the window, her eyes reflecting the light. Nayan nearly dropped to the ground as she felt the girl. It was power indeed...it was clear and strong like a scale of perfect music.

"She has to be the one." Nayan thought. Strong energy was emanating from her aura. Her potential was big. Nayan produced a glowing object in her talons. It was a small mirror, intricately decorated, the glass shining blue.
Yes, this girl was to be the one. Sailor Vega.

Kenako Yaturi stomped through the halls of her school, remembering her stern math teacher's talk. She pushed open one of the doors and quickly found her favorite secluded bench to cool off on. She looked up through the tree canopy and fingered her play script lightly. Her school was doing, "Vacancy in Paradise," and she was playing one of the female leads. There were ten female parts in it, and only five males. She still had quite a few lines to learn....
She sighed and stood up, beginning her walk home. Little did she know, that a small animal was eyeing her closely....

Cardian sighed. Damn, but that Amorrite was annoying, so haughty and arrogant. "Oh well," he thought, "his comeuppance will arrive one of these days." He sighed and yawned. It was boring here. Perhaps he should go check out Earth. Decidig that this was the best course of action, he shifted to his human form, and teleported to Earth, arriving in front of a school. Perhaps he could find some of those "pure hearts" Amorrite was always babbling about here..

[Shanghai]

Hitotsu had sat down in the vision of his master, his head bowed to him as he spoke," You don't care what I do you say? Well then, master, I have decided to not go upon earth to gather "pure hearts" just yet. I suspect Cardian has gone down there to do so."
He stood up now to face his master, his calm eyes staring at the figure of him. Letting out some air, he crossed his arms behind his back before continuing," If you need me, I think I will be down on earth doing..."human things"."
With those words Hitotsu changed into his human form before bowing and disappearing to surface on earth.

[Sakura]

Ki sat in maths class toying with her pencil.She hated maths.It was her worst subject.The bell rang and she packed her bag quickly and darted out the door.That was the final period for the day.She walked through the halls as they began to pack with students.She exited the school and began to make her walk home.She put her hands into her pockets and walked slowly.She saw a shadow of something behind her but when she turned it disappeared.Ki shook it away thinking she was imagining things after the boring maths class.Little did she know it was an animal following her.Ki looked at her watch and realised she should have been home 5 minutes ago.She quickly began to run and hurdled over obstacles.She was a very good athelete and did very well in school.

OOC:I don't have a Guardian Animal so I kinda need one.

Miya stared at the bird that was sitting outside her window. "Dear gods... I've got to be dreaming.... I KNEW I stayed up too late last night!"

Putting down her pencil and ignoring the doodle-covered algebra test for the moment, she slowly got up from her seat. Would the... whatever-it-was vanish if she moved too fast? To her surprise, it hopped through the window and landed on her desk! "Holy cow, it's tame!!"

[Mina]

Nayan stared at Miya for a moment. The other humans in the room didn't notice her...yet. She looked on meaningfully, shifting her long tailfeathers, marking her as an exotic bird.
"Ummm...are you lost?" Miya asked. "From an animal show or..."
"I beg your pardon." Nayan grumbled. "I am no ordinary [I]animal.[/I]"

The girl took a shocked step back.Nayan fluterred back to the window sill.
The girl looked back at her. The question in her eyes was clear: Did you speak?
"Yes...." Nayan drawled. She seemed to enjoy the confusion. "I am also a Guardian Beast put in your charge to awaken your hidden powers so that a great evil may be put to rest."

The girl remained silent and calculating.
"Yes, Miya, there is such a thing." Nayan said softly. "Tell me, have you ever dreamed this would happen?"
She dropped the magic mirror on Miya's lap. Perhaps some connection would spark from it.

Miya stared at the mirror a moment. "Vega..."

[i]"Princess Vega, the Moon is under attack!"

"I can't do anything! We're all under attack!"

"You have to help somehow!"

"You're right, I've got to do something. Even if that something means sacrificing myself. The Inner Senshi have to survive to protect the Princess Serenity! [b]Vega Star Power, Make Up!![/b]"[/i]

Miya gasped as the fragment of memories rushed back to her, and she clutched the mirror against her. "Meet me outside after school." she whispered to the bird. "I don't understand, but I know you can help."

Nayan nodded and turned away. Miya tucked the mirror into her lap and turned back to her test before the teacher noticed anything. Not that she was now any better at algebra. In fact, if anything, she hated it more. She wanted to get out of school so she could go talk to the bird! Nayan. That was her name. Miya could remember that much, at least.

Her algebra test was still covered in doodles, but now the doodles were all shining birds and sailor-suited princesses.

*Dragus sits in class keeping an eye on the clock.*
Dragus(Thinking):"this is it almost time for a test better be prepared. I would prefer this was a three day weekend."
guy:"What a wierdo..."
Dragus:"Oh shut up..."
Guy:"Sheesh."
Dragus:"A test will be comming soon so get in your seat..."
*A test gets passed out to each student. Dragus takes the test Question by question to make sure that the answers were correct.*

Kerika layed on the park bench in the shade of the trees. She was skipping school again. it was hot out this time of day. especially for Kerika. the shade felt good without the sun soaking into her black clothes. Kerika sighed and rolled over onto her stomache. Didn't she have a test today? oh well she'd make it up later. Her grades were fine. Kerika heard a noise in the bushes and looked up. a rotriler walked out and sat in front of her. Kerika sat up.

kerika: Hi there.

the rotriler didn't chane expressions but opened it's mouth.

Flash; Pleased to meet you I am flash.

Kerika's eyes widened.

Kerika: Oh my Gosh you spoke!

Flash smiled and Nodded.

Kerika: what do you want?

After school, Miya made her way down to the couryard, where Nayan was sitting in a tree near the gate. "Come on," she coaxed. "I'll take you home, and then you can tell me why I feel so weird all of the sudden."

Omi(Cardian) smiled as he watched the children. He was, at least to them, a college student who served as a Teacher's Aide at their school. At least it was somethig to do, he thought as he watched them. One of them had to have a pure heart.....There! He pinpointed a girl named Sakura who was talking with her friends. Slipping out of sight, he tossed a card he pulled from hsi pocket onto the ground. The Tarot card of Death stared up at him.
"Yes, this will do nicely."
A black robed figure rose from the card and bowed.
"I am here to serve, my master."
"One of those girls has a pure heart. Fetch it for me."
"At once..."

Miya and Nayan were about halfway to Miya's house when Miya felt something and froze. "Oh shoot." she said tightly, her hands clenched into tight fists by her sides as she strained to hold in the feeling of power that was suddenly coursing through her veins. "Nayan help me, what do I do?"

"Just let the power out," the bird said, fluttering to a nearby parked car where she'd be out of the way of the inevitable transformation. "Let it take over. There's something evil nearby,a nd you are destined to fight it!"

"If you say so." Miya took a deep breath and held the mirror she'd gotten earlier up over her head. "Vega Star Power, Make Up!"

There was a show of green and purple lights, and a shower of sparks, and then Sailor Vega stood there in all her glory. The mirror in her hands had transformed into a harp that seemed to be made of glass. Miya's eyes widened as she stared down at herself. "HOLY COW!!!!"

[Mina]

Nayan smiled inwardly. This was halfway amusing.
Miya was still bewildered by her transformation and despite the growing tension of evil in the area, Nayan could afford to set her straight.

"This is what you are." Nayan trilled. "Now feel for your foe."
Sailor Vega closed her eyes. Nayan felt her searching.
"There!" Wing and hand pointed toward a park compound.

"You did well back there." Nayan said as she flew.
"It just...happened." Vega gasped. "It was like a...."
"Radar?"
"That's it."

"It's here." Vega said as she skidded to a halt.
Nayan took a perch on a tree. Her feathers tingled with the evil aura.
"Now Sailor Vega, look for your foe."

the rotriler shook his head.

Flash: There's no time for that. danger is near!

Kerika shook her head.

Kerika: Whoa! Danger? this is too weird.

Flash rolled his eyes. Deep down he knew this would happen. Kerika's eyes widened. "I feel weird..." Flash looked up as though he had forgoten something.

Flash : Oh yeah.

He ran back into the bushes and brought her a pen like item. It was black with a silver star on top. Kerika took it from him.

Kerika what do I do with this.

Flash: let out your energy. believe me you'll feel alot better.

Kerika did as she was told and was transformed. Her gothic jeans and baggy shirt was traded for a beautiful out fit. Her hair fell out of its pigtails and over her shoulders. Kerika looked down at herself.

Kerika: oh wow...

Flash smiled. He figured showing her was the only way to get her to believe...

Cardian watched as death swept towards the girl, smiling as they noticed Death's approach, and scattered, screaming. Death picked up Sakura and held his hand in front of her torso. A glittering ball exited her torso and Death dropped the now heartless and unconcious girl to the ground. Cardian smiled. Everything wwas going well....

[Dmitri_Dragoon]

Cooth was licking his paws happily, and purring loudly. Having just had his ear scratched.

He looked lazily as his pet, Ki, got home. He knew he shouldn't consider her his pet, but he wasn't her pet, so there ya go. He plopped down onto the floor and waited for the door to open.

Ki entered and Cooth instantly started winding around her legs, almost causing her to trip.

"COOTH!" Ki yelled at the cat. He looked up at her with a feline grin.

"You do realize that you should have been home several minutes ago?" Cooth asked. Ki just giving him a shocked stare.

[Sakura]

Ki:You can talk?!

Cooth licked his paw and nodded.

Ki:Why have you never talked before this then?!
Cooth:No need to.
Ki:Now there is a need?
Cooth:Yes.You are Sailor Arctis!
Ki:Sailor Who?
Cooth:ARCTIS!I am not your pet.I was not given to you on your birthday by chance.I am here to guide you as your Guardian Beast.

Ki was in shock.

Coth:I must awaken your hidden powers and you must help defeat the evil.

Ki remained silent as she listened to her cat talking.

Ki:You're not joking are you?
Cooth:No.This is the truth.

Cooth jumped into Ki's arms.He jumped out again and something was nestled in her arms where Cooth was sitting.Ki held it and saw it was an object that was like an icicle.It was pointed on both ends and was sort of like a diamond.

Ki:What is this?
Cooth:Concentrate.does it bring back any memories?

Ki closed her eyes and suddenly it happened.
[i]It was a flashback of their time on the moon.It was in danger.
"We must fight!![b]Artis Star Power,Make Up![/b][/i]

Ki snapped her eyes open and gasped at all the memories that had suddenly came rushing back.

Ki:I remember.I have to help save Earth like we tried to on the moon.
Cooth:*sigh*Good you remember.
Ki:There's an enemy somewhere.I don't know how I know.I can just feel it.
Cooth:Good your sensing abilities are returning.Follow your instinct.

Ki took off her backpack from school and set it on the ground.She held onto her ice crystal tightly.She bent down and picked Cooth up off the floor.She ran out the door and towards where she was sensing it.She arrived at an area.

Cooth:Feel for it.

Ki and Cooth were silent and then hand and paw pointed into the distance.

Ki and Cooth:There!
Cooth:You are destined to fight this with the other Senshi that have been awakened.
Ki:Ok...Here goes!!Arctis Star Power,Make Up!!

She began her transformation.Soon her clothes disappeared and she was wearing her fuku.Ki looked at herself.

Ki:Woah...Way cool!!!

She raced off into the direction with Cooth still in her arms.

*Dragus senses the power of a Dark Kingdom fighter along with the senshi's awakening.*
Dragus(Thinking):"I'll fight the dark power."
*Dragus gets int a dark corner and puts a white rose in front of him he transforms into Tuxedo Bandana.*
Dragus:"Threads are good but I'll have to hurry."
*Dragus runs in the directon of where he sensed the Dark warrior's power.*

"Hold it!"

Death turned as a sailor-suited girl with long white-gold hair appeared in the park entrance, slightly out of breath. Vega didn't know exactly what had come over her, but for some reason she felt the intence need to make a corny speech about love and justice.

"These innocent young girls were just out for a stroll, enjoying the fresh air! How dare you take that from them! I, Sailor Vega, protecter of music and art, shall punish you!"

In a nearby tree Nayan slapped her forehead with a wing. "Cut to the chase, Sailor Vega..." she muttered, mostly to herself.

"Oh, right," Vega said, sweatdropping slightly. "EEK!" She jumped out of the way of Death, who had been coming toward her. "Woowza, he's fast!"

"Wowza?"

"I watch too many Inspecter Gadget reruns, all right!? Now tell me what to do! I can't dodge forever!"

[SJchan Mayran]

Amorrite's head shot up as he felt something awaken. His lip twisted into a sneer. Kunzite had warned him about these sailor suited bimbos just before he'd died. If these were the same girls who'd killed Kunzite, Jadite and the others, then this could mean trouble.

Amorrite settled down a little after a moment. No, these weren't the same girls. These heroines were newly awakened, not yet trained. These girls could be taken down easily. And take them down he would...

In the darkness of the throneroom, Amorrite smiled.

[Mina]

"What do you do?" Nayan screeched. "Use your power, Vega! Kill him!"

"Him?" Vega muttered. "That thing is...right, use the power."
She produced her harp.
"What do you feel?" Nayan asked.
Vega stood silently, harp in hand. Nayan cursed under her breath. She should have doen it sooner, it took awhile before mortal souls grasped such a power.

Death roared and lunged at her again, fangs salivating hungrily.
"Mach Wind!" Nayan clapped her wings together. A blade of wind struck the monster in his dark face.
He clutched the wound, growling.
"Sometime now would be nice." Nayan chirped.

The harp flashed once. Surrounded by blazing light, Sailor Vega prepared to execute her attack.
