Shinji-Kun
Ok, This is probably a stupid question, and will be locked but I have to ask. I heard the other day that there was supposddly a new Eva series coming out. I would try to search this out but I am not good on the internet when trying to find things. Does anyone know if this is true, or if the person who told me was mistaking the re-mastered Eva for a new series? Thx
Cmndr.Bradley
Yeah heard rumors of it too, I also saw a poster with a grown-up Shinji, Rei, and Asuka.
Shinji-Kun
Would you happen to have the location of this poster on the web, and maybe any additional information?
Cmndr.Bradley
Soytenly! this is all the info I have:http://mywebpages.comcast.net/juzzam1/evangelion.htm
SadClown
That pictures definetly not fan art.
Cmndr.Bradley
Yeah, the animation is far too good. But why must Rei always appear without a shirt in everything....erm....not that i'm complaining.....
eleanor
Of course it can be fanart. People who draw for the covers of magazines are pretty talented, you know. Though, the one on the right seems to be official, it has that texture that the other official ones have. O_o...Man, I just have to say, Shinji on the left, whether it's fanart or official, has been made ugly. Anyways, I don't they should make a series starring and older version of the cast, I think GAINAX should leave Evangelion the way it is. But, a remastered one is something I would definately get!
VP-Master
As far as I know, no new Eva series has been officially confirmed. Because of the "bizarre" attempts to end the show in the past, many rumors have floated around whether the creators want another go at it. It's still something up in the air. On the other hand, the live-action Eva movie has been confirmed and it'll interesting to see how it turns out. Just hope it doesn't become another G Saviour. : (
Kwai
I've seen that picture a number of times browsing through some different Japanese eva otaku sites, and from what i gather, its definitely fan-art. And besides, it says 2002 on the poster... now its... 2003... its nothing official. Its fanart.
eleanor
The re-mastered version has been confirmed. You can even find it at Barnes and Noble.
Zen
I don't know how this things story will role out. Because at the end of the movie, or at least i heard, that
Asuka and Shinji are left on earth alone after everyone is killed and sent into that super state of mind thingy.
Shinji-Kun
They are there that is true, but
The people who did die will come back because it is said because Shinji didnt finish the complemation project things can and will return what they once were.
Cmndr.Bradley
I sure hope so, because the end is a major freakin bummer....I personally enjoyed the series ending more cause certain people didnt die!
OtakuSennen
*gasp* Even more Evangelion? Wow... (Aw, poo. Now I have to save up for even MORE dvds...) I think that this has a possibility of being fanwork, considering it hasn't been 100% confirmed by GAINAX.. I mean, with computers and everything it wouldn't be too hard (for a good artist) to make a picture that looks authentic to Eva. I think that I'll look forward to it, but I don't think that it will really be done.. (I'm always a skeptic)

eleanor
So I'm not the only person who liked the ending of Evangelion! Lol. Well, I think the End of Evangelion wraps up the movie nicely anyway, and yes, I'm strange.
Shinji-Kun
It was a good ending indeed. However, I could go through another series of Eva. Heck, Eva is a awesome anime and it should live on with many expendatures of its universe.
Heaven's Cloud
Just to clear up a bit of confusion for those that don't quite understand what the "Remastered" edition of Evangelion is. It is just a cleaned up, digital version of the original series with slightly better audio and a cleaner picture (maybe a few extras). The same thing has been done with other classic animes including Akira and Ghost in the Shell. There are no plans for an new Eva series or additional Evangelion episodes...hence "End" of Evangelion. Sorry if I bursted anyone's bubble
Arkadyz
Yeah HC thats what I basically said in the last thread that ppl where asking about a new series...People seem to confuse the renewal of eva project with a new eva series...All it is gonna be is a remastering of the original series... On another note I read somewhere that ADV has plans to rerelease the final 2 DVDs with "directors cut" additional materials...I cant remember where I read that at but ill be the first to buy em :D Could be wrong though...I gotta find where I read that at before... And just cause something looks high quality doesnt mean it isnt still fan art...I mean that one guy made "voices of a distant star" All by himself on his freaking mac for godsake :D Fanart can look just as good as pro sometimes...
