And really being the king would mean he'd more than likely have to prove himself and his strength to his race as the most powerful, which is has failed miserably in. Zephyr Posted July 27, 2003 Share Posted July 27, 2003 There are two good reasons I can think of for why Vegeta is never called the "king" of sayians. 1) He was never properly coronated as the king. Meaning he is not an official king and cannot take the title. 2) Calling himself a prince places him higher then Goku (sating his ego), but not in a posistion of authority. He never really forces his decisions on Goku in a fight, unless it proves necessary. Even then he will not enforce them unless Goku is down or things go bad. He can call himself the king of saiyans if he wants to probably his father is dead. I just dont think he would want to do that since he had respect for his father. So I really think that he is the Prince of Saiyans, since he was never properly crowned king. But hereditarily, he would be the King of all Saiyans.
