OOC: how many Rakksha are there? do we know we're rakksha? do we know we have our true forms? i wonder.......... oh and when i say stuff like who's the fool? or hey stupid! it doesn't mean anything...it's just my way of saying things...

Kaira and Keiko heard voices at the door so they went to go see who it was. Somebody had gotten through the illusions. Now many people can...unless they had powers. It was a man who was standing at the door. He seemed to see right through illusions. Somewhat strange...only those with powers like Nayan, Keiko, and Kaira could see feel the strange vibe that the house gives.

"Who's the fool? Yeah, well anyways...where's the fridge? I haven't had a single bite to eat."

As Luisa saw Luyii's new form her mouth dropped to the floor.

Luisa and Talayeh: Oh my goodness!!

Luisa:*bewildered* That's- Thats incredible.

Luyii: Do you think you can copy my form Luisa.

Luisa stared at Luyii and then Talayeh. She kept looking at Talayeh and then again back to Luyii.

Luisa: You talking to me?

Talayeh: I don't think she was talking to me dear. Now if she asked me to brun something that would be a different story.

Luisa smiles at Talayeh who began to snicker at her own comment. Luisa stands up and concentrates hard on the imagine that she must replicate.

Luyii: Now you need to relax. Forcing yourself to do it will only make it harder.

Luisa calmed down and breathed slowly looking again at the image. As she noted the body and relaxed she imagined herself looking in a mirror. In her mind, a mirror appeared in front of her, the image was rut in front of her and she imagined that was her. She had taken her place, she had become Luyii.

Luyii: Thats the way, relax.....

A gasp escaped from Talayeh, as she stared on in amazement of what was happening before her.

Talayeh:You're doing it Luisa!

Luyii: Shhhh-! Dont speak too loudly for she must not wonder from that thought.

Luisa saw herself as Luyii copying her form her muscularity and everything. Her height increased and her arms grew out. As she felt she was finished she opened her eys and looked around her. She noticed Luyii and Talayeh looking at her with joy in their eyes.

Luisa: So how do I look?

Talayeh and Luyii clapped.

Luyii: Wonderful! A perfect mirror image, but there's still one problem.

Luisa: What's that?

Talayeh: Your voice sweety. Your hispanic accent is still very strong.

Luyii: It looks like we have to teach you how to mimic people's voices now!!!

Luyii: Although.....you all have separate gifts, ones you should refine on your own.

Luisa: Yeah...that's true.

Talayeh: It's still exciting though.

Luyii: And now.....I think we should sleep.

She removed a few spare nightgowns from her dresser and passed them out, opening the sofa bed as well.

Luisa: Lovely.

Luyii: Before we rest, does anyone want some jasmine tea?

A sudden explosion woke up Neri. The truck started to twirl, and soon went off the road, throwing Neri to a bush.

After recovering from the not-so-smooth wakening, she peeked from the bush to see what was going on.

The truck lay on its side at the bank of the road. The driver and his companion were both dead, and the other passengers were ushered up by armed men.

The men looked like common guerillas, but why would they attack a truck loaded with nothing but people on the way to Capetown.

The question was soon answered as a white man wearing black trench-coat and sunglasses appeared to Neri's vision.

"She isn't here", the man said in a rough accent. "Search the area."

It took Neri a moment to realize that the man was speaking about her. She knew she had to get away.

Nayan led the visitor inside the house. She didn?t know this person nor did this person know her. So she knew he wouldn?t blurt out this secret to anyone.
?You know I?m not lying.? Jack said. ?Now would you be so kind as to tell me why I was lead here??
?Lead here?? asked Keiko. ?By who??
?Not in such a sense.? Said Jack. ?I felt?something. Something or someone calling me.?
Nayan and Keiko exchanged glances.

Kaira walked out of the kitchen. Her staff was back in her hand.
Jack?s eyes snapped toward her at once. ?You?was it you??
Kaira looked distressed. ?I?don?t know. Tell us about your powers, Jack. All of us will know what exactly happened.?
?You seem confused.? Jack said. ?Ok then, my powers concern the mind. For as long as I?ve used them, I could read others minds, their most open thoughts at first, but now I can get into deeper stuff. Their moves and strategies are an open book to me in a fight. I know what they do before they can do it, before they know they can do it.?

Kaira set her staff down.
?That is a powerful gift.? Nayan whispered. ?No doubt there are many more like us. Our powers are for far greater use than this. Those dreams are proof and also?.?
Nayan stopped, studying the faces of those present before her. She stood up.
?Follow me.?
She led them into a room. The room was empty save for a hanging and a few plants. The thing that caught the eye the most was a giant mirror. It stood on one end of the room in a polished silver frame.

?This is kind of special mirror.? Nayan said. ?At least to me for I discovered my other self.?
?Other self.? Asked Keiko.
Nayan nodded. ?My counterpart, the one who really has my power.?
She stepped in front of the mirror to make her point. Her normal reflection flickered for a bit and was replaced by a hazy image of a dark creature.

Still in front of the mirror, Nayan spoke. ?Have you ever seen anyone else in your dreams? Someone not you, but still you??

As Luisa sipped her tea she got comfortable on the seat. Although she hadn't bundled up yet she just relaxed. She then got up and ran to the phone.

Talayeh: What's wrong?

Luisa: I gotta call home my mom doesn't know I'm out.

Luyii walked in the living room hearing the commotion. She noticed Luisa by the phone getting ready to make a call.

Luisa: I'm sorry Luyii I should've asked first. Is it fine with you if I use your phone.

Luyii: That's no problem but if it is to call your family there is something I must tell you first.

Luisa sat down as the words but a bit of a chill down her back.

Luisa: What's wrong, is my family alright?

Luyii: Oh yeah their fine but, you're not!

Luisa: What do you mean?

Luyii: How do you expect to find out who you truly are hanging on to your family. You cannot go back to them. So I had to make you--

Luisa knew the words about to come out of Luyii's mouth.

Luisa: I understand. Thank you for being honest with me.

Luisa returned to her tea, not truly phased by the words Luyii spoke.

"And what are we going to do now?" Talayeh asked, standing up, her tea in hand.

Talayeh had been somewhat quiet since Luisa had shapeshifted into Luyii's other form. She had acquiesced to the tea and watched their conversation, but she seemed agitated.

"What do you mean?" Luyii asked calmly.

"I mean, we've all found each other, and we have these amazing powers. There must be some reason for it," Talayeh said. She was pacing now, her cup of tea cold and still untouched. "Something that requires more than just going to sleep, don't you think?"

"What could we do?" Luisa said.

"Well, I want to find the others," Talayeh said impatiently. "You said there are others, didn't you? I want to find them. Can't you find them somehow?" she asked Luyii. "I felt your powers, can't you reach out to them, as well?"

Luyii shook her head. "You must be patient, Talayeh," she said. "It is nighttime now, and there is no use in going out on a wild goose hunt in the dark. They could be in a different country, a different continent for all I know."

"And what is the purpose of all this?" Talayeh continued, as if she hadn't been listening. "Who are we? Why do we have these powers, and what are they for? I want -- I need to know, now!"

Luyii stood up at last. "Stop," she said, her voice still calm, but holding a subtle coil of anger. Talayeh looked up at her as if she hadn't realized what she had been doing. "Do you think you are the only one to feel this way?" Luyii said in a low voice. "Do you think you're the only one who wants to act? The time is not now. We do not have our full memories, or our full strength. Be patient."

Talayeh sat back down on the couch, feeling something near fear, but not quite so potent. "I'm sorry," she said.

"If you want to do something with your time, try discovering your other self," Luyii suggested, her voice still possessing a sliver of venom. "But for now, I am going to bed. We can discuss what to do in the morning."

Luyii stalked out of the room. After a moment, Luisa followed Luyii, leaving Talayeh alone.

Luisa went to Luyii's room door and knocked.

Luyii: Come in, but enter at your own risk.

Luisa stepped in the door and looked around, she never saw a more perfect room and it truly did fit into Luyii's personality.

Luisa: Dang, nice room, ever thought about interior decorating?

Luyii smirked but got stopped the meaningless chit chat.

Luyii: What is it that you want Luisa?

Luisa: I know that we shouldn't rush things but I truly feel what Talayeh is saying. It's hard for both of us to truly understand all of this.

Luyii But her legs on the side of the bed and stood up. Her nightgown was of excellent taste and Luisa had no choice but to admire it. Realising that she was staring Luisa's eyes quickly refocused on Luyii's face.

Luyii: You like I got it from Victoria Secret, Spring Catalouge 2002.

Luisa blushed dut Luyii quickly got back on track.

Luyii: I know that you both are wondering about everything and so am I. But we need time to rest and think. We must gather as much of our pasts as possible and hopefully they will be shown in our dreams tonight. So go now, get some rest.

Luisa knew there were more questions to ask but she stayed obedient and quickly left the room.

Luisa: Good night, Luyii.

Luyii: Good night!

She closed Luyii's door behind her and went back into the livingroom where Talayeh was left alone. She went near Talayeh grabbing her tea cup and went to sit next to her.

Luisa: Are you okay?

Talayeh: Yeah I'm fine but I just-

Luisa turned to Talayeh and nodded her head anticipating the words ready to leave her mouth.

Luisa: I know I think we both do, but luckily we have each other to lean on.

Talayeh: Yeah that's a good way to look at it.

Luisa continued to sip her tea as things got quiet for a moment.

Talayeh: So what do you think it all means.

Luisa:What, what Luyii said...

She pondered that thought for a minute and answered again.

Luisa: I think it means I no longer exist. I am now a ghost!

She closed her eyes and pulled the thin silk sheets up to her chest. Their voices drifted in her direction...but she chose not to listen more than was absolutely necessary. Like she had pondered the meaning of her existence...they would have to as well. At least she had gottten over it without contemplating suicide. In a few days, they'd be over themselves......in theory.

She turned on her right side and blew out her scented candles. Time to rejuvinate her spirit essence....

Her dreams were the same as before. The six armed self staring into a mirror, reaching out to a humanoid girl, turning pale with longing, then shattering it with a flick of her claws. Worlds shattering, energy being drained swiftly......one world falling after the other. A disease haunting her body, but being banished once more by a light. A light that didn't go out. No matter what happened. Was it truly inside her? Or did it come from everyone else? Was she awake? Was she dreaming?

Hours later, she awoke to pitch black. She drew the blinds aside, finding only starlight.

Luisa sat up, aroused from a gorey scene to a part that made her more confused than before. She looked at the clock. "2:30, great," she huffed to herself. "Another night of sleepless dreams."
She got off the blanket she placed on the floor and walked to Luyii's kitchen. She reached for a clean glass and removed the water pitcher. Poured herself a glass and returned it in a quick motion.

She walked over to the window sill, glass in hand and sat, once again overlooking the city. Still rustling with nightlife Luisa drowned it out and went back to the words she mutter earlier. I think I no longer exist.. I am now a ghost. She remembered them as if they were burned in her memory for ages and looked over at Talayeh sleeping on the sofa.

The dream caught her attention again. She remeber these visions and returned to them once again. She saw a group of figures with her in what seemed to be a battle on a different planet.

The city around them was in rubbles and massive armies were on both sides. Next to her, in the front ranks of one army, was that group. Two of the faces were visible. The first was Luyii's image she imitated earlier the other, another female. Luisa assumed this was Talayeh's former self. A very pretty female with long flowing silver hair. Luisa saw strandes in her hair as well. They were also silver. She the two were side by side along with Luyii and a few other whose face she wasn't yet abe to see. As she looked on to Talayeh's counterpart. She heard the woman speak. The dialect although foreign was understandable. We have lived side by side and sister and today we will die side by side. If nothing else is said between us anymore. Remember this. I love you.
The dream ends there. No more words were exchanged between the two and Luisa wasn't able to go back to sleep. But she still pondered the thought. Talayeh is..... my...sister.

 • 3 weeks later...
Everyone was shocked into a momentary silence. Keiko spoke up first.

"So... you mean to tell us that that," she said, gesturing towards the mirror, "Is what you really are?"

Nayan nodded, "That is my true self," she said, stepping away from the mirror. The image disapeared, "if you wish to see yourself, stand before the mirror."

Keiko pushed her way forward. Took a deep breath and stepped in front of the mirror. The mirror flickered and then displayed
a dark, hazy image

No one was as surprised this time and Keiko quickly stepped away from the mirror to allow someone else to use it.

Luisa found it close to impossible to fall back asleep but, she tried to wipe it from her mind. She was able to get a little bit of sleep right before dawn and took advantage of the time.

Soon, the daylight began to peek into the living room and Luisa couldn't stand it. She moved the pillow and placed it oer her head so the light would be gone for as long as possible. But soon she heard stirring in the apartment.

C'mon people just let me sleep please!

But the noise continued a bit and then died down. She didn't mind the moise so much but just the idea of a person ready to wake her up kept her from getting the level of sleeo she wanted. But whoever it was didn't touch her. She continued to rest her eyes and hoped that she could doze off again.

She was quickly bak in a dream zone...but this one she wasn't prepared for. Only flashes of peple and faces were shown. No cities only faces. Some of them dead, some alive, but they were all stragners. People she didn't know or have ever seen. Well not in this life anyways. She toseed on the sofa till a person began to lightly shake her and woke her.

"You okay, you seem scared or frightened?"

It was Talayeh.

"Yeah I think Im okay...just a weird dream. Thats all."

Kaira walked up to the mirror and looked into it. Nothing was there for a moment, then two hazy figures appeared. One had a bright aura and the other had a dark aura. She wondered why there were two. It was possible that Kaira's reflection could soon merge into one and become one with dark and light. They both looked demon like, but the dark aura was more evil looking and the light aura was just...a demon. Kaira just stared until someone tapped her on the shoulder and she moved. She couldn't help but thinking that she could be all evil. She shook her head and thought nothing of it.

"Strange, I thought we would have one past life in the war. Could it be that she was two different people" jack said to him self. He walked infront of the mirror and saw what he looked liked in his other life. A reflection of some one in a cloak appeard. "Not so strange as the others but i'm not going to complain" jack thought. He noticed some thing at the bottom of the cloak. He imitated he was grabing the bottom of the cloak and the mirror imadge did the same. Along the edge he saw small blades. "That could be usefull in a fight" jack said as he walked away from the mirror.

Dawn.

Talayeh had barely been asleep, and she was up almost immediately at the first light. She felt the need to move, to get out of this apartment. Even though she'd discovered something she never thought she'd have -- family of a sort -- she wanted some alone time to process it all.

She left the apartment building, the sunlight falling gently over her. Talayeh felt an odd feeling of deja vue. It was as if she was running away from her family, just as she'd done twelve years before. Of course, I'm not really running away this time, she scolded herself. I'm going back right after some alone time.

But it was too late -- the unbidden memories of her large family had risen up, and she felt a stab of ... homesickness. It wasn't an unfamiliar feeling, even though Talayeh had left before she was old enough to really call anything home. She walked aimlessly through the streets as the sun continued to rise, thinking about the parents she'd left.

Better for them, she decided for the hundredth time, especially now that I know I truly do have a purpose. From nowhere flew in the memory of her and her little sister having a water gun fight ... Little Neri had been only two and a half years old when she'd left. A tiny person. She'd been the only one Talayeh had told when she ran away, making her solemnly promise never to tell their parents. Talayeh had a feeling that Neri would've been her favorite sister, if she'd stuck around.

Talayeh looked up and realized she was back at Luyii's building. It was full day out now. Entering the apartment and shutting the door behind her, she heard movement on the couch. Luisa was tossing and turning as if caught in some terrible dream.

Familiar with the feeling, Talayeh decided to wake her. She shook her lightly.

"You okay? You seem scared or frightened," Talayeh said.

"Yeah I think I'm okay ... just a weird dream. That's all."

Luisa's expression said it was more than that, and from Talayeh's own experience she knew just how "weird" those dreams could get. She didn't say anything, though, just sat down next to her new sister on the couch and smiled.

Nayan walked out of the the room.
"I really didn't understand at first." she said. "But now, I wish I could just be her and not have to worry about wether these powers came to the right person."
"How could that be us??" asked Keiko. "I mean, can we shed the human disguise?"

"The human disguise is a great necesity." Arika whispered. Her eyes were glazed over. "We can't reveal our true selves to the humans, it'll fall apart again."
"What will fall apart?" Keiko asked Arika as the other two stared on. What was Arika talking about?
"The worlds will go to war again, we might not help them this time." Arika continued. "Corvus rises, but we cannot battle again on this Earth. We will defeat them elsewhere....back home. Rakksha will gather once again!"

Jack and Nayan looked at each other.
"Corvus..." said Jack. "Is that some kind of star or planet?"
"And what was the other one? Rakksha or something?"
Everyone looked at Arika for an explanation.
She looked at everyone in confusion. "What the heck was I doing? I said something, but what?"

"Do you have split persionalitys" jack asked arika. "No, I don't think so. Why do you ask" arika asked jack. "That could be why you don't remember what you just said a couple of seconds ago. It could also explain why you had two reflections" jack said closing his eyes. "If you do, that other persionality brobaply knows more about the war than we do" nayan said.
"I've been able to read the minds of a goup of people but never any one that had two different persionalitys. I don't think I could take it for to long" jack said opening his eyes. "So what did I saw then" arika asked. "You talked about the war happening again and that it would have to be faught some were else" keiko said to arika. "The things I get my self into. Oh well it could be fun" jack thought as they continued walking in the halls.

Kaira stopped and just looked around. She stayed behind the others trying to think it over. Her two figures meant something. But what did it mean? Kaira looked down and saw a shadowy figure next to her. She looked to her side and saw an animal appear before her. She blinked and it was gone. Strange...Kaira shook her head and caught up with the others who were in the living room, sitting down. They stared at her to say something, but somehow she couldn't say anything. But as she closed her eyes, her body fell unconcious for just a moment and 2 spirits lifted out of her. They looked to each other and then to the group and then looked back to Kaira. The light aura, which resembled an angel, lifted her head and she awoke. Everyone else looked surprised but Kaira wasn't. Somehow, she knew that this would happen. She looked to her spirits and nodded. They knew that they had to tell the tale of the Two Worlds.
