Anime Look-a-Likes

Have you ever played a video game and then stop and say, "It's time for my favorite anime!" and when you watch the anime and there's this person and he looks like the one in the game you justed played? And the people that created the game and the anime aren't even the same. and for that matter anime too. Well post them here!(list the resons they look alike) Here's one:

Balmung (.hack//sign) and Albedo (Xenosaga)

1)The feathers/wings they have attached to their arms.
2)Their silver hair and hairstye (messy).

thats all i can think of right now, but post yours.

Oh yeah. I've noticed it. A couple of examples I've seen (I'd post pics if I could because I have pics of all characters I'm mentioning here, but only one attachment is allowed per post) are the similarities between Cloud from FFVII and Vash from Trigun and Aerith/Aeris from FFVII to Milly from Trigun.

Seriously, the only differences between Cloud and Vash is that Cloud's face is more rounded and his eyes are deep blue rather than aquamarine. Even the hair's the same shade and style though. . .

As for Aerith/Aeris, she is even more similar to Milly in appearance-the only difference is that her hair is braided and her dress (including a quite familiar "duster" style coat) is all shades of pink.

And Kuja from FFIX somewhat reminds me of Legato.

[color=hotpink][size=1]I COMPLETELY disagree with Vash/Cloud, Aeris/Millie. And here's why:

Vash is super tall has spikey hair and is very outgoing. Cloud is more reserved and has spikey hair that goes in every direction. The only simularities is that they both have blonde hair and blue eyes.

Millie is a whole lot heftier and bigger than Aeris. Aeris is gently and petite. Millie is a big lug who looks like she could kill anyone. The only similarities, again, is the color of the hair.[/color][/size]

I agree. But i have seen similairitys in Katsumi from Silent Mobius and the the captain girl in Nadsiesico. They look and act alike in many ways. Now with dudes, its Sepheroth from FF7 and LEgato BLuesummers from Trigun. They may not have the same color hair, but there face and cold eyes are the same. They are also facinated wit hthere power of death. They find killing intruiging.

I can't think of as many anime+game lookalikes as I can anime+anime lookalikes, so from the top of my head, theres Legato from Trigun and Aoshi from Rurouni Kenshin... among others.[/COLOR]

Xion from Bloody Roar and Viscious (sp?) from Cowboy Be-bop, then you can add Pegasus (minus the eye) to that, although his hair is a bit longer. From anime I'd say that quatre from gundam wing and Tohma from Gravitation look amazingly the same, although this has been noticed by many before. They even have the same voice actor.

Game/Anime look alikes: Vincent from FF7 and Hotohori from Fushigi Yuugi. With the exception of the metal arm, the face, body, and hair are just about the same. Yes, Vincent wears the headband thingy and has red eyes, but they still look alike. Oh! Karsh from Chrono Cross and Yami Bakura look the same. Same white/lavender hair(I swear, Ryou's hair switches colors), sadistic glint in the eye(O_o"), their eyes are about the same color too, I think Karsh's are a lighter brown. >squints at tiny pic<

Manga/Game look alikes: Brain Powered's Yuu Isami and Chrono Cross's Serge look alike. Blue hair, blue eyes, and the way the characters were drawn and designed just look alike. Lloyd from Legend of the Dragoon and Loki from Ragnarok. Same hair, glare(hey it rhymes!), frown, and sometimes, attitude.

Anime/manga look alikes: Chaos from Ragnarok and Krim from .hack//SIGN. They have the same hair style, but not the same color hair; they're eyes are the same and their smirks too ^_^.

There are more out there, if you look around and broaden your mind.

your right. those look exactly alkie. I'm not really sure about some of the others metioned. I've noticed a few similarities between certain anime characters, I'll put together some pictures & post them later ^^

I think Kurama [Yu Yu Hakusho] and Kenshin [Rurouni Kenshin] look rather similar, what with the longish red hair, spiky bangs, and vividly colored eyes. They're around the same height and have similar builds. Not to mention the fact that they both wear pink. ^_~

Sesshomaru [Inuyasha] and Kuja [Final Fantasy IX] both have long silver hair and red eyeshadow. I don't quite remember what color Kuja's eyes are, but if they're gold, that's another thing they have in common.

Eh-heh heh heh.. I now cheat by comparing the .hack//SIGN characters with the .hack//GAME characters that use the same basic character design!! (oh, I'll throw a .hack//LEGEND OF TWILIGHT one in there too..)

-Tsukasa and Elk

-Bear and Orca
-Mereille and Mistral

But OTHER than the people who use hte same character design..

-Rei Ayanami of Evangelion and Subaru look rather similar, what with the typical introverted facial expression and the similar blue hair.. But that's just Yoshiyuki Sadomoto's doing.

-Il Palazzo of Excel Saga and Sesshomaru of Inuyasha-- This one is KINDA a stretch.. But they both have rather light hair, and for both of them it is rather long. Of course, Sesshomaru doesn't have glasses, but they both sorta hold that bishonen quality..

That's really all I can think of at the moment.. I'll go through my files later and check for more..

Well this one has two game characters. Xion from Bloody roar and Dante from Devil May Cry. I mean come on! Cut Xion's hair and he's Dante's twin! With the red trench coat and all!

Well, when I play Suikoden II, I notice that Nanami is similar in appearance to Amelia from Slayers. Both dress fairly brightly, and have short crop hair in very similar styles. And both are uber genki! :D They both like to protect the ones they love too.

Also in Suikoden I, Gremio looks a great deal like Himura Kenshin. Except Gremio has Blonde hair, and green cape. He even has the same type of Cross Scar. But he got that protecting the young master. ^^ They have similar personalities too. Both are quiet unless protecting someone they care for, and act like house keepers at times (laundry, cooking, apholstery...).

ah, there's quite a few look alikes that i've seen between games and anime's:

-Cloud & Matt (Digimon)
-Shuyin & T.K
-Yufei & Kari
- Kairi & Kari (XD)
-Sephiroth & Sesshomaru (i think it's the eyes)
-Sora(KH) & Tai (the hair....kinda)

All three of them have silvery hair for starters and it's quite long.

Of course, Sesshomaru's is much longer than either Sephorith's or Kunzite's. But both Kunzite and Sephorith have glowing eyes.

Then there's that lovely attitude that both Sesshomaru and Kunzite have. Both are quite level headed and a bit icy with the exception of certain people. For Sesshy it's Rin and for the anime Kunzite it's Zoicite. Yes, that has nothingto do with physical features, but still....

2.) [b]Group two:

Rubeus and David Bowie[/b]

I think it's the hair. And maybe at times the clothes. And I'm talking about the 70's David Bowie who kind of looked like a grl.

Sure, Rubeus is only 2D and a drawing and David Bowie is a human person walking around and stuff. but the whole thing was never specified that you could only compare 2D to 2D.

Kagome's Grampa (InuYasha) and Rei's Grampa (SailorMoon)[/b]

Short old Shinto priests with granddaughters who have strange life experiances. Need I say more?

Certain designers/creators/writers will want certain looks for their character- it's either deliberate or coincidental that they happen to look similar to another.

natatron, please watch your punctuation. Considering I've seen you manage it in other posts, I'm a little disappointed it's not consistent.
