Upcoming Games

Well, everyone already knows about FF:X-2 hitting the USA this Nov.-Dec. But there are a few others I've heard about and am ready to get.

JakII: Just saw a commercial for this one on the tv, slotted for Oct. 14. The shots reminded me more of Ratchet and Clank than it did Jak&Daxter. There's an official site www.jakii.com (sp?), but I haven't looked at it yet.

Ratchet and Clank: Going Commando: Another sequel game, same gaming company. I didn't get the date on this one (coming soon), but it seems to boast of bigger and better guns, including a leveling up system for the weapons. O_o;

Have you heard of any upcoming Sony/PS2/PSX games that you are excited about?

Chaos Legion is at the top of my gaming priorities. There's really nothing else, as what more would you want than a true sequel to Devil May Cry. Chaos Legion looks promising, and even though there's not much publicity and hype surrounding it, it may just be what us DMC1 fans have been itching for. Then again, DMC2 looked fine... PLEASE, PLEASE BE AWESOME! Need DMC, NEED DMC, NEED DMC... Uh... sorry, I got a little carried away there. I guess I'm just a little anxious... :twitch:

FFX-2... I can't say I'm anticipating that at all. You've heard enough of me whining that I've been sick of the FF series since FF7 and beyond. Haha, I understand why people would want closure to FFX's ambiguous ending, but I didn't think much about it! I always consider the best of possibilities... :D

EDIT: Ah, fudge, I feel like a traitor... How could I forget the last two .hack games? Of course, I'm looking forward to that brilliant series' continuation!

I've heard of a few titles, bearing in mind that the release dates are bound to be delayed.

Lord of the Rings: Return of the King- The sequel to the eagerly awaited for The Two Towers. Still boasting it's hack and slash features that bore quite quickly, the Return of the King is a complete rejuvenation as the length has been increased greatly and interaction with other characters has improved.

I'll bring more announcements of games later. That's the only game that stuck in my head.

I'm skipping FFX-2. It's supposedly only about 10 hours long and full of fan service. Not exactly something I'd love. The actual changes to the gameplay sound refreshing though.

Jak and Daxter was just a really dull game I thought, but the sequel looks fairly entertaining. I never liked Rachet and Clank.

The only thing mentioned so far that I'm interested in in the slightest is Chaos Legion, which apparently turned out very well.

I'm also looking forward to Virtua Fighter 4: Evolution. It includes VF: 10th Anniversary too. The best part is that it will be replacing the Greatest Hits version of the normal VF4, which means it will be only $20. Yay.

The game I'm probably most anticipating on PS2 is Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance 2. The first is probably the best game on the system, in my opinion. I might wind up getting this for Xbox though, so who knows.

There really isn't much coming up on PS2 for a while that I care about. Shin Megami Tensei 3 and Dragon Warrior VIII are a long ways off (if SMT3 is even released, Atlus hasn't said yet).
