Gaming Orphen: Scion of Sorcery

This is an odd little platformer I never really heard of. One of my little brother's friends left it with us, because he didn't want it, or didn't have a PS2, or some such stuff.

What really intrigued me at first was the anime cutscenes they threw in--though I really wish there were a few more. Maybe there will be when I choose one of the other three paths in the game.

The main character is unusally rude, though, and the gameplay itself...mweh. Confusing during battles and too easy elswhere.

I haven't beaten it yet, since I just started it a few hours ago (facing off with Kuris or whatever her name is while holding the Crystal Egg), and I doubt this will be a very long game.

Anyways, thoughts, ideas, wondering what the heck I'm blabbering about?

I actually have been interested in this game for a while now, I've been thinking about getting it. I actually could have gotten it with my PS2 when I first got it, but I picked Eternal Ring instead. It was cheaper at the time. I did get to play it for a small amount of time, and I was getting into it when I had to turn it off. I may still get it in the future, but it seems like it's a pretty good game.

[size=1][color=darkblue]I in fact [i]used[/i] to have this game until I traded it. I remember it being one of my first PS2 games, however, I lost interest into it.

Personally I found this game lacking in many areas, especially gameplay and gamelength (10 hours at the most ¬_¬). The graphics and cutscenes as you stated were intriguing and very special as anime always adds that little touch to a game, so on and so forth. The battle system made me lose interest especially, as it was just mainly static.

If you are bored and want something to do, then I'd recommend this game, however, do not build your hopes up to be overly impressed, it is not great in my opinion. But, one to their own I suppose.[/color][/size]

[color=pink]i didnt really care for this game. it was extrememly hard to figure out how to fight move etc. but yeah the cut scenes were pretty cool. it is actually an anime-based game. the actual anime is pretty good if i do say so myself. i really like it. but whatever. . . if you like the game . . . that is your choice not mine! ;D[/color]
