Dmitri_Dragoon
The world, is as we know it today. Crime is as it always is, the police struggle as they always do to keep crime down. But they can't handle it on their own. Ecspecially with the comming of criminals beyond their expertiese to handle. Criminals, that would be called 'Super Villians' have started to arise, and with them the crime rating of major cities. The police have now begun to fail at their jobs, and many are literaly dieing, trying to stop the villians. What the world needs, are some heroes... John Dorn felt a small current go through his finger. He enjoyed the feeling of elecricity flowing through his veins in the morning. After all, he was Cyber Circuit, controller of electricity. John looked down the many feet to the ground below, and wondered what would happen should he fall. Probably a few broken bones... He mused. He let one final jolt of electricity before he finally decided that he was done. He climbed down the power pole to the ground and looked up at his handiwork. "Do you think the big boss lady will be happy with the new transformer?" John asked his coworker. "Probably not, but that's the best any can do, and you are the best." "Damn right I am.." John replied. He had just given a new transformer to Lydia Folcroft, new owner of the Folcroft Enterprises (By the gods do I love irony). John looked up at her grand estate in envy, with his pay he could barely afford the appartment he owned. But hopefully with this job he might get a bonus, or raise for good work. Unless the witch decided to complain about something that isn't wrong. John sighed silently to himself as he and his partner packed things up. He had a feeling that it was going to be a long week. terra
Christian Marks entered Ms. Folcroft's large estate with a briefcase and pressed his hand to her security console. "Christian Marks," he said, and her security system went into action -- his retina was scanned, fingerprints taken, voice recognition system activated, and his height and weight (allowed to fluctuate within three inches or fifty pounds) measured, and a few secret measurements of which only he was aware of were also noted. The system he had designed for Ms. Folcroft had not failed yet. "Christian Marks, you are granted access," a smooth woman's voice informed him, and he walked into the Folcroft mansion. It was an incredible place, but Christian had been there enough times before to not be startled anew by the beautiful marble staircase, fountain in the center of the foyer, and stylishly tiled floor. He nodded to the four security guards who always manned the front entrance of the mansion and clipped up the stairs to Ms. Folcroft's office. He rapped on her door lightly. "Come in," she said. He entered the room and offered her the briefcase. "Here are the statistics on the transformer that was recently installed," he said. As she examined the object, Christian took the time to examine all the features of Ms. Folcroft that he had come to love over the years. "This is excellent work," she said, her hand running over the files possessively. "Who did you say make this?" "A young man named John Dorn," Christian informed her. "Tell him his work was ... satisfactory," Ms. Folcroft ordered. "Yes, ma'am," Christian replied. "Is there anything else?" "Don't give him a bonus, even if he asks for it," she instructed him. "Oh, yes. There was this policeman today, I believe his name was Benjamin Harbor, I wrote it down somewhere right afterwards because I was so mad. He stopped me for speeding. Do me a favor and kill him." Christian allowed himself a smile. "Yes, ma'am," he said. [edit: I'm an idiot. Excuse my idiocy, must not have been thinking. Or not thinking hard enough. :D Edited it so it hopefully fits now.]
Dmitri_Dragoon
OOC: So you took the transformer down off the power line after it was put up? You do realize now that there is no power in the house, and everyone is in darkness, unless the back up generators are on? He's an electrician. Pardon the sarcasm. IC: Dillion Blevins, or the Ferret, Lurked in the corner of Larcroft's office/room. He sneered at Christian as he walked in, and was given his job. Dillion believed he could do a better job at killing than Christian, but he kept his thoughts to himself. He knew that he would be given a better job. He always was. He just had to bide his time. Vicky
Far away, in the rainy forest, a man named Shadow sat there with a falcon resting on his arm. He was called Chris, but they now call him Shadow. "It's going to be a rough night out here..." He said to himself. "The rain over here is heavy. Tonight will be a strom...I can't be caught in it." He looked over the hills. "I'm going...the animals can take care of them selfs for a few months..." He let his bird loose, and lifted his arms. He ran though the forest. Soon, it was the end of the path, and a moutain under him. "For once, I can stay at my town without haveing to come here ever day..." He ran back a few steps, and ran off the cliff. HIs hair swung behide him. Then, a huge white bird arose. Later, he landed in the streets. Car horns beep and Shadow looked around. "Doesn't change much..." He jumped into the air. Once again, a huge blakc bird landed in his place. "Let's see..." He lifted off and watched at the roof tops. "Well, I should keep my guard here." Guest Oyeah
MECHA-GLADIATOR Part 1 So Cool, So Suave Yet another day draws to a close? The weekend has arrived and school is over for another two days. It had been one hell of a week for me. Wagging school? skipping lessons? staying awake in class? actually opening a textbook? Somebody told me once: ?good things come to those who work hard.? That person was an ***. So it?s Friday night. Par-tay night. And what better way to spend it than going downtown to experience the nightlife. I decided to start the evening by wetting my whistle at a local pub. Cigarette smoke lined the ceiling; vomit stained the floor and drunken bikers played pool. Oh yeah, I belonged here. I casually walked up to the bar and took a seat next to a man who had just recently passed out. Chris: Yo barkeep, I?ll have a bourbon on the rocks. Barkeep: Get out of here boy! Come back when you?ve reached puberty! The people sitting next to me laughed at the barkeep?s insult. I gave them an angry scowl and they laughed harder. Barkeep: Look at you! You haven?t even got hair on your face. Chris: I have so! Look! I played with my impressive goatee. Barkeep: What facial hair? Chris: This one, see? I could tell by the look on his face that he was not impressed. Barkeep: What that fuzz? Chris: Just give me by whiskey! Barkeep: Forget it, kid. If your mum knew she?d skin me alive! Chris: I don?t have a mum. Barkeep: I?m still not serving you. Get out of here! The barkeep grabbed me by the shirt and literally threw me outside. I had hit my head on the sidewalk. Blood was pouring down the side of my face. I started to sob when I saw a group of girls staring at me. I stood up, brushed myself off and yelled back to the barkeep: Chris: Yeah! I?ll stay away from your niece but I can?t say the same about your daughter! I sounded so cool, so suave. I cockily nodded my head at the girls. Chris: I?m sorry ladies, I can?t go out with any of you. My schedules already booked. Any more dates and I?ll have to have an admission fee for my body. Girl 1: Pfft, dick! They walked away laughing. Yeah, I?m a funny guy. Somehow I just have this way with words. I can?t explain it. But what can I say? It?s a gift. My moment of self-admiration was interrupted by the sound of a woman screaming. Ben
The prison was quiet. It was night and the only sound that could be heard was the dull thudding of Spin Cycle ricocheting off his padded walls, laughing insanely. There were only two guards, the streets being what they were: crime-filled and dangerous. "I can't take it anymore." said one guard. "The bouncing is one thing, but all the laughter is getting annoying." "What are you gonna do about it?" asked the second guard. "Maake him think sad thoughts." said the first guard, pulling out his night stick. "I don't think you should, he's one of them super villains, you know." said the second guard. "Just because he's fast? Hah! I've seen him on the monitors, a coupla' good dogs could run him down." said the guard, placing his palm on the locking mechanism. "Admission granted." said a computerized voice. The guard warily walked into the cell, night stick at the ready. Spin Cycle was in the middle of the room, staring at the floor and laughing softly. "Stop the laughing, you freakin' lunatic, it's startin' to bug me." said the guard, holding his night stick threateningly. "Lunatic?" Spin Cycle laughed. "You think I'm a lunatic?" he asked. He began to laugh harder, and louder too, soon the whole room seemed to echo with his laughter. "I said knock it off!" the guard bellowed, threateningly taking a step towards Spin Cycle. "You wanna know why they call me Spin Cycle?" said Spin Cycle, lifting his head to stare crazily at the guard. "No." said the guard flatly. "Good. I was hoping this would upset you!" he said, beginning to spin in place. The spinning grew faster and faster, until the air about him began to move, growing faster and faster, just as the spinning did. Soon the guard was hurled across the room, despite his best efforts to resist the rushing gale. But, knocking out the guard was not what Spin Cycle wanted. He had decided that now was the time for him to escape and wreak havoc upon the city. He grinned. "This will be fun." he said to himself as he blasted through the roof. Dmitri_Dragoon
John sat down in his Lay-Z-Boy and sighed in relief. It had been a long day full of power outages, new transformers, and other annoying jobs that made him really tired. He turned on his t.v. to the news and was greeted by the usually to cheery music, and the stupidly smiling news anchors. He boredly watched the usual stuff, and actually dozed through the weather. John was quickly awakened by the music of a special report. The anchors reported that Spin Cycle, the villian that had been apprehended years ago had escaped prison. "Well this is just dandy." He muttered to himself. He sighed again, he would have to keep his guard up for Spin Cycle, but he knew that he couldn't do much tonight, he needed sleep desprately. Eclectic
Lydia turned on the large plasma screen TV in her office. Spin Cycle had escaped from prison. As interesting as that was, she had work to do, companies to forcefully take over, lives to destroy/control, monopolies to create. There were a lot of things in this world she still didn't have control of. And then there was the little problem of that speeding ticket. Was it her fault people didn't know she was exempt from the law? But Christian would take care of that, he always did. "Dillion!" she snapped. He slunk from the shadows of her office. She shuddered a little, though not visibly. Who knew where that little prick followed her. "Yes, Ms. Folcroft?" "Find out more about Spin Cycle and offer him a job for me. I have a feeling we'll be in need of his services. Go. NOW!" He nodded and left. Lydia yawned and stretched. It had been a long day and she thought she deserved a treat. She pulled out her cell, looking through the phonebook. None of them really deserved her attention and she had no reason to give them any. Sighing, she headed for a club instead. Dmitri_Dragoon
Dillion lurked in the shadows of everything. He was able to get to a little haven, where only the scummiest of scum would congregate. Although he didn't consider himself scum, he was able to fit in quite well. After many hours of talking he was finally able to ferret out where Spin Cycle was. He would have to go find him first thing in the morning, so he could find out what to offer him that would intice him to work for Ms. Folcroft. He send a text message with his cell phone to his employer. [Ferretboi]: What do I offer him for a job? Money? If so how much? He snapped the phone shut and started to walk around the dark city, eagerly waiting for his bosses answer.

Eclectic
Lydia was just flirting with yet another man undeserving of her attention when her cell phone rang. She read it and frowned. Didn't that idiot know that the sky's the limit when it came to a new minion...recruit for her little force. She grudgingly replied. [multimillchick]: Offer him whatever he wants, you great dolt! If you need me, I'll be at home. She left immeadiately headed home. There was still the world to conquer.
Ben
In an abandoned amusement park, not far from the edge of town, two lights flashed. One came from the flashlight of a teenager. His name was Kyle. Kyle was in the park on a dare, his friends didn't believe he would do it. The other light was the night watch, a man named Rick, hired to stop kids from doing exactly what it was Kyle was doing. From high upon a roller coaster, Spin Cycle watched them. It was such a fun litle game of cat and mouse. But was the watch the cat and Kyle the mouse? Or were they both prey to an even larger predator? Spin Cycle leapt from the top of the roller coaster, spinning around to slow his descent. He settle to the ground not far from waht used to be a concession stand. Running towards it, he dove into the stand, demolishing the wooden coverings. Rick heard the sound and immediately rushed towards it. "Stupid kids." he muttered to himself. When he reached the stand he looked around. He could see nothing. Then he spotted something. It was a kid! The kid turned to run, but tripped over his own foot. Rick ran over and pulled him to his feet. "You're trespassing on private property, kid." he said. But Kyle was terrified by something behind Rick to answer. Rick, wondering what the kid was looking at, turned around. Spin Cycle stood there, juggling what appeared to be flaming skulls. "Boo!' he said, smashing the skulls into the ground and leaping at the two. Kyle and Rick screamed, stumbling over one another in their haste to get away. Spin Cycle zoomed to the peak of the roller coaster again, this time with Rick and Kyle over his shoulders. He quickly seated them in the front car, secured them tightly, and shoved the cart over the rim of the hill. The two screamed as they went down the ride. Spin Cycle ran alongside them. "Terrifying isn't it?" he asked, cackling. "What's even worse is that the track's broken! AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Then he stopped and admired his handiwork as the screaming pair flew off the broken track and crashed into the Ferris Wheel. With that he began cackling insanely. He ran down to the concession stand and had a snack of moldy hot dogs and cotton candy sugar. "Odd diet for a Super Villain." said a voice from the shadows. Spin Cycle reacted instantly, speeding over to the source of the voice and dragging it into the moonlight. It was a man, well dressed and refined. "What do you want?" said Spin Cycle. If someone called him a Super Villain, it could only mean they wanted to talk business.
Sakura
OOC:Sorry...I forgot I was part of this...:sweat:Heh heh... It was a dark night and you could see an outline of a figure as it raced along the rooftops. If you looked close enough you could see it was an outline of a female figure. She was dressed in full tight black leather and had silver, custom made, reflective sunglasses. She was headed somewhere in a hurry. Finally she arrived. It was an abandoned amusement park.[I know I'm not male but tough!] Girl:Odd diet for a Super Villain. Spin Cycle:What do you want? Girl:Ha!Will you never learn Spin Cycle?!Stop picking on children. Spin Cycle:I'll do as I please!! Girl:Not while I'm around you won't!! Spin Cycle:And who exactly are you girly!? Girl:My name is Elle. For Element! And I will punish you! Spin Cycle smirked and began to move around.Elle raised her hand and rain began to fall and then she threw her hand down and thunder began to crackle and boom and lightning licked across the sky.Elle brought it down around Spin Cycle violently. Then she remembered the two in the roller coaster and saw it was moving close to the track break.Elle quickly called some vines from no where and they made some tracks for the roller coaster to continue. She continued to try to hit the crazy moving villain with no success.Suddenly Spin Cycle headed towards Elle and was trying to tackle her with the force of her attack.Elle quickly flipped away and onto the roller coaster. She looked at the two males. Elle:It'll be ok...I promise.Just sit tight. Suddenly a large wind picked up and it took the roller coaster off the rails.Spin Cycle stopped momentarily and Elle quickly got some more vines and wrapped him to the ground. He growled angrily and shouted.the three of them just hovered over the entrapped villain as he squirmed around and tried to use his powers to escape.Soon he stop and he yelled loudly.Elle had somehow found his weakness and he slowly began to meltdown.Elle smirked happily and the tornado beneath them carried them back to the town and set them down at their respective places.Elle left the roller coaster with Kyle before flipping away and back over the rooftops.*You see through her sunglasses and into her eyes*They glint happily and her voice in a happy tone says(In her head):"I hope you're proud of me Mum and Dad and I hope you're watching over me...Wherever you are...I miss you...And I hope I'm doing the right things." As she landed at her home that was never sold because in the will it said to give it to her when she was of age.And when she reached the age she got it.Now she was 18.She entered the house and pulled the sunglasses from her eyes to reveal the sparkling emeralds. She shook her head and her chocolate brown hair shook out.She got to her bedroom on the third floor and took off her tight leather top and bottoms before getting into bed to relax after a hard night's work. terra
Nighttime had fallen some time ago, but Christian hadn't noticed. He checked his watch -- 10:30PM. Convenient. The police files he'd easily hacked into had informed him that one Benjamin Harbor, who'd stopped a Ms. Lydia Folcroft that day on a charge for going 39 miles per hour over the speed limit, would be on beat a few blocks away from 11PM-2AM. Christian decided to walk, spare the environment a little. When he could do such small things, he would. He was thoughtful in that way. Peering casually from around a typical dark alley, he saw Harbor, easily recognizable from his file's photo, and a couple of other cops, standing around a car eating -- donuts. Christian rolled his eyes. Why did policemen complain about their donut-eating stereotype, then go buy a dozen Krispy Kremes and scarf them down while on duty? People just didn't think. The policemen separated eventually, bidding each other laughing goodbyes, and Harbor set off down the street towards Christian's convenient alley. As he passed by, Christian stepped out, neatly elbowing Harbor in the gut and causing him to grunt and bend over double. Harbor moved as if to come up swinging, but Christian preempted him by slamming his elbow down into the back of Harbor's neck, causing him to slump onto the floor. Christian leaned over and plucked the policeman's gun from his holster, then punched him full in the face before he had a chance to call for help. Harbor fell backward but caught himself on his knees. Christian cocked Harbor's gun and pointed it at his forehead. "Don't say a word," he said calmly. They were still out on the street, but Christian didn't care. It was empty, anyway, except for the subtle fog that always seemed to hover over the city. "Wh-- why," Benjamin Harbor whispered, sweating, staring at the barrel of his own gun. "You should know that Ms. Folcroft is above such things as speeding tickets," Christian elucidated for him simply. Harbor's eyes widened. "Is that -- that's the only reason?" he said in the same hoarse tone. "No," Christian smiled. "It's also because I can." He fired.
Dmitri_Dragoon
John zipped around, he loved this ability of his. He shot through the lines, and eventualy zapped out of a electrical outlet and into the street. This wasn't were he really wanted to go, but he guessed it would be a good place as any. He stroled idlely along, not paying much attention to anything, when something caught his eye. He moved up closer and saw that it was a body, upon an even closer look it was a police body. "Oh dear lord..." He muttered. He quickly ran to a phone and called the cops. This wasn't a very super hero thing to do, but he couldn't afford a cell phone at the time. Damn that Folcroft! He waited while the police arrived, then showed them the body. He gave his statement and they decided that there was little more he could do. But he stayed behind to find some evidence with the other cops. Luckily there were some footprints left behind, and a slight trace of finger prints on the gun. Eclectic
OOC: Dmitri and Ben, you can continue your negotiations. The next day, Lydia called Christian into her office. She sat with her back partially towards him so she could just see him and his every reaction. "Christian dear, do you remember that darling little police officer I told you to get rid of?" He nodded. "Do you remember how, when you first became my bodyguard, Daddy told you to stay out of trouble?" He nodded again and she turned and glared at him. "You do? Good. Then do you realize that you left fingerprints after you killed him?" She heard him gulp, but she was just getting started. "How do you expect me to run a multi-million dollar corporartion when my most trusted employees leave fingerprints?! How?! And even better, one of this town's little wannabe superheroes found the body! Fix this problem now, or you're fired. You have two days, but expect you to be done in much less. Get out of my sight." After he left, she sat back in her chair, fuming at every little thing that was wrong. One of the many paintings in her office was slightly askew. Another had one of the worst color schemes she had ever seen. Yet another was just plain ugly. And the portrait of her late father was dusty. Heads would roll for the state her office was in, but they would roll later. She wondered how Dillion was doing. If she did have to fired Christian, at least she'd have a replacement ready.
