Harry
Originally posted by bra Do you belive that what you did was honourable?
Yes. When skateboard kids come into my neighborhood and throw glass all over an 80 year old couples driveway for no reason other than pissing them off, I lose any sympathy for them. Also these kids do this stuff all the time, egging cars and hitting crap with baseball bats. These kids deserved a lot more than what I gave them. James
It doesn't matter. An adult singlehadedly loses a lot of dignity by hitting a child. And no matter how nasty they were, they were kids. A 15 year old is definitely not an adult rival. As I said earlier, there are better ways of fixing the situation. In particular, if you'd put a little thought into it, you probably could have humiliated them quite well without resorting to a punch in the face. lol While I'm here, I'll remind you of two things. Firstly, your avatar is pretty inappropriate for OtakuBoards. I'd like you to remove it. Secondly, your original post was pretty crude in a few respects.
Jerking furiously while on a forum? I don't think many parents want their kids seeing that, but hey, you've already demonstrated that you aren't responsible with kids lol
Basically, I think I've been pretty leniant with you, Harry. I've let a lot slip. But you're starting to push the limit a little. I urge you to take my recommendations into consideration.

But back to the topic....Bra you better cool it. It's over, and it's done. He won't go to jail because....it can be considered self defense on the basis of protecting property from damage. If you get caught egging somebody's house/car/any personal property, you're busted. Personally I wouldn't of bashed their faces in. I would've grabbed both by the collar, slapped on the handcuffs I borrowed from my girlfriend, and held them down by my feet while I cooly dialed 911 in their faces. I just like taunting like that.....and if they're at least 15, in my county anyways...they can get seriously jacked, and tried as adults. *evil grin* I would've probably killed them if they tried to swing at me....I keep PVC pipes in my garage for situations like that.... Not a great job there, kinda messy, but your intentions were good.

James
You're not -- why is your avatar still there? And you didn't edit out the objectionable stuff from your original post. Please do these things immediately if you want to remain on the site. Secondly, you can't justify what you did. What you did is called child abuse. You do not punch children. For the police to even consider that as acceptable is very irresponsible. And I didn't say "a simple humiliation". ~_^ I've dealt with similar situations before, and I've never needed to resort to throwing punches to fix the situation.

James
Have you even read our rules, Magdalena? I'm not offended by it, but we have young kids on here. And moreover, I'm always having to cater to a great variety of tastes on the site. I have a responsibility to those people -- you don't. If I want the avatar to be removed, it'll be removed. Secondly...the police are highly irresponsible if they didn't charge Harry (presuming he actually hurt the kids, which I'm assuming he did). Once again, punching a child isn't appropriate. And if you think it is, I don't konw what planet you're living on. lol Dismissing it as "kids are such punks" just shows indifference.
Originally posted by Harry: What's objectionable from the original post?
Read the post of mine on the last page, with the spoiler. pbfrontmanvdp
LoL good they deserve it. And to say to use word as an ultimatum, he already tried that they first time he talked to them. People need to understand that doing such useless, senseless things have a consquence in them every once in a while. What he did was right, hopefully they will think twice when throwing glass bottles at elderly homes. Plus i dont consider a 15 year old as a child/kid. I no legally they are children, but in strength they might not be. Jeez at 14 i was able to beat my dad at arm wrestling and he ways 225 and has a 16" bicep still. I'm not even going to bother getting into that one. Your second comment...once again, I fail to see how there's any logic there. A 14/15 year old is a child. Sure, they did the wrong thing -- and I fully agree that they should be harshly punished. But it's not up to some adult to come in and punch them in the face. That's child abuse, any way you look at it. If you advocate child abuse, that's fine by me. But that's what it boils down to. lol
OlgaTheDwarf
Okay, I've read this thread and still have one question. I still want to know, from Harry, if he lied to the police about the kids trying to hit him with their skateboards?

pbfrontmanvdp
This could all be solved very easily...Either lock them all up in a room together for a month or they all have to get counseling. I say lock them up in a room for a month lol nah j/k. Really what should happen is they should both see each other with the childs parents and explain the whole situation at hand and come to an understanding. Calling the police would have been the logical thing to do - what they did was vandalism. And vandalism needs to be punished - it's a serious offense. Harry, think about it..what if you were that kid (and i'm not saying that you would do anthing like that..just hear me out) and you just trashed some random house, not knowing what was in it, and then some adult came out and hit you in the face. That's just..wrong. I can't say it any other way. But you really should have called the police.
