Anyway, I don't think it was the best thing to do if you had to lie to the police to keep out of trouble (basically it was probably illegal so that's not too cool.) It really sounds like the kids were being jerks and they got what was comming to them, but throwing the first fist is lowering yourself to their level. I might be over-aggressive but those stupid kids won't be going into my neighborhood again being little pricks causing wanton destruction to any house they feel like. I see kids trashing house next to me, instead of letting the cops to take 30 minutes to get here and get nothing, I confront them. I tell them to stop, they don't stop and tell me go away in a crude manor, I teach them a lesson. Sure it would have been nice to call their parents and have a chat about it, but that is a very unlikely situation anyway. I know a fact one of the kids that I punched in the face doesn't listen to their parents at all and uses the same crude language to them. It's just my general belief that a good *** kicking will set some kids straight in certain circumstances.
