Yays! Me like fun rides! And I'm sure all of you do too. I bet there's not a person on this board who doesn't love at least one ride. If there is someone like that, then I just lost 4,000 bucks ina bet with Sean Connery. He lives in a trailer outside my house and all.

Anyways, back on topic, what is your favorite ride? It can be a famous one at somewhere like Disneyland or be a carnival one.

My happens to be a carnival one called the Sizzler. I just LOVE this ride! I must build one of my own.

The group I went with to the amusement park didn't get on anything. They got on one ride but my partner didn't want to so I had to stay and it at the water shooting thing. Which I played 3 times while I waited for them and still didn't win. But before we left we got on this cow ride. It was moving so fast and my partner kept screaming and grabbing me. He even said he wanted his mommy. I had to yell at him to shut up and kept pushing him off of me. I know the ride sounds lame but it's not. It's fun and it moves faster than some of the roller coasters.

I have to say my favorite amusement park ride is the Gravatron. Its this round space ship thingy that you get in, and stand up against the wall.
The the ship starts spinning really fast, causing you to be stuck to the wall.

Man I love that thing.

Hm.. Batman is good (At Six Flags Magic Mountain) and I want to ride Scream...

As far as Carnival rides go.. I remember at the Orange County Fair there was a ride that spun around, and tilted up a bit sometimes, and the car you sat in spun in full somersalts and backflips... That was good, yet headache-inducing..

Dude! The Sizzler is just a larger and faster version of the Scrambler. if you like the Scrambler, ride the Sizzler. It's more of a thrill.

You go into a circular...room, for lack of a better term. Everyone stood against the wall, and the whole thing would start spinning, so you were stuck against it. Once you were up against the wall, the floor dropped away, heh.

They got rid of it, though, I think. At least, it was closed last time I went to the park.

Does anyone else here frequent Six Flags Great America?

Hm. I'm really not much good at amusement parks, heh. I've been on...two...roller coasters in my life. I'm not scared of heights, exactly...I don't know.

Well i dont think roller coasters are still fast enough for me yet. I live right next to Six Flags Great Adventure in New Jersey, and even the fastest one they got isnt fast enough for me. They have on that goes around 80+ but still not good enough. If i had to make a choice though i would have to say the original Batman ride. That one never got old for me and i still think they keep making it faster for some reason. Still not fast enough though lol.

out of the amusement parks I've gone to *cough*DisneyWorld.WildAventures*cough*, the Tower of Terror is my favorite. I could've ridden that thing all day, and I would have, if the rest of my group hadn't wanted to ride the other rides, too. the Cheetah (I think that's what it's called) and the Hangman from Wild Adventures are also really cool. but they still don't hold a candle to the Tower of Terror.

Woah, woah, woah. I almost forgot...

The best ride that's not carnival ride has to be Pirates of the Caribbean at Disney Land. Even before the movie, I loved this ride. Everytime I visit Disney Land (I did when I was little), I'd ride that thing 40 times, for God sakes!

That's why I was so syked about the flick. OMG!!

That's my favorite ride also!!!
When we went to DisneyLand I was six or seven, that was the ride I rode the most.
When the movie came out it caused some major flashbacks...o.O

I don't many other than you or I. Doesn't seem like many live up here. Possibly Jenna when she is home?

In any case... I always liked Batman there. Especially if you manage to get in the front row.

Shockwave is my least favorite there. I always hurt my head on it. The thing shakes like crazy.

The best coaster there, without a doubt, is Raging Bull.

I think my favorite roller coaster is at Busch Gardens in Tampa or whatever it was. It's called Kuba... and since they doesn't have horrible lines like most places, I got to go on it several times.

I've always wanted to go to Cedar Point too...

I may get to go again this summer, because my little sister didn't get to go last time we went (seven years ago). So my parents not wanting her to miss out are going to take the whole family again sometime in the future.^-^

[strike]The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh at Disneyland[/strike]

I enjoy Disneyland dark rides more than I like roller coasters; but I'm still a huge fan of roller coasters. I go to Six Flags whenever I get a chance, my favorite ride there is Goliath. A lot of roller coasters are really shaky, and they hurt my neck a lot. I prefer my rides to be smooth and entertaining, which is why I enjoy dark rides and smooth steel coasters.

My favorite ride is probably the Haunted Mansion at Disneyland. The ride seems a little dated by today's standards, but I still love it. Everything about it is just a lot of fun, and I wish that other parks would try to emulate the storytelling that Disney theme parks do so well. All other amusement parks are a joke, in my opinion.

*goes back to working for Disney*

Well once when I was little I went with a friends mom and we went inside this mansion, it was called the Haunted Mansion. People would jump out before you and all that stuff. Well anyway she couldn't stand it and I couldn't either, so we went to the exit, but if we weren't carefull the door would shut and lock us in until the actual ride was over. Till all the people got out.

I was scared to death, and so was she. But we had to say that was the best ride we went on there, because it was so well thought out and all that other stuff.

Actually I have no clue where we were now. I'll have to check again sometime. I think it might of been Kings Island. I'm not sure.

A few show rides happen to be my favourites.

The Zipper. A huge long oval shaped thing that spins around. It has a belt going around it with seats attached to. This belt goes around the oval shaped thing, while the oval shaped thing is going around. Then the caged-in seats are spinning aswell. So.. the cages are spinning around at about 100km/h, these are attached to a belt that spins around the oval shaped thing at about 60km/h, while the oval shaped thing spins around at about 40km/h... :D Awesome, awesome ride. Ride it. :demon:

The Megamix. A hude bowl, with seats on the inside of it. It spins around at about 100km/h, then spins sideways, and then upside down. There's no roof, so it looks like yu're going to fall and hit the ground... but you don't. ;) Another, totally awesome, sic ride.

The Breakdance. A spinning disc on the ground, which is on a slope. It has alot of giant chairs attached to it, also attached to a huge pole which goes into the center. There's four lots of three giant chairs going around at once (that's the whole ride). IT FLIES. At like.. 160km/h. Atleast that's wat it feels like. Probably alot less... but man, geez, dude. It's a damn awesome ride.

The Music Trip. A huge lounge spinning around on a background. FLIES. Awesome ride. There's also a ride called The Alabama, it goes twiceas high. But I haven't seen it for a while.

The Hangover. Two carts flying around in opposite directions. Swings up and around for ages, and then stops upside down for a minute or two. While you're hanging upsicde down, you can hurdle insults over to the idiots in the opposite cart. :D Awesome ride. Heaps fast.

Loop the Loop. A mini rollercoaster speeding around in a loop, stops upside down a few times, pretty damn good.. great ride. Flies aswell.

This umbrella parachiute thingie. Seats with umbrellas.. or parachutes, so I'm told.. they're connected to a huge pole in the center. About 20 seats all up. It spins around, then spins sideways. You've only got a bar to hold onto, so it freaks the crap out of you. Another pretty awesome ride.

The Thunderbolt. The fastest ride in Australia. 175km/h, around in a circle, in which a tunnel covers half of it, so you fly around in the dark. Two hump on either side of the circle. The carts swing up and around, sideways, backwards, all over the place. There's only a bar to hold on to, so you really have to hold on. They play the music there as loud as ever. Nearly deafens you. Or me.. yeah. Great damn ride.. Awesome.

...man. Sore fingers. Bye.
