There's a movie from the early 90's called "Dead Alive" and it's a really disgusting and overly graphic Zombie flic. Tottaly B movie. But ironically it's by the guy who directed the Lord of the Rings Trilogy. Just thought I'd share that useless trivia sence I was reminded of it just now...

what could have given you that idea?

I'm sure i know some of the auditioning process........
"must be a double D!!!!! Damn i can't work with you people!"

Try and forget about the probable lack of plot, hard as it may be, and think about the actors. Lets see, off the top of my head a few of my favorites.

Tina, can't think of anyone.

Jann Lee, nope.

Hayabusa, Fabio. (just kidding)

Kasumi, mmmmm no idea.

The only player i could even think of would be the girl from crouching tiger hidden dragon to play ayane. I can never remember her name, or how to pronounce it, but you know. The one who uses green destiny and jumps off the mountain. Dye her hair purple and you got ayane.

How can they make a movie out of DOA? I mean the game doesn't have much of a storyline, at least not enough to be adapted into a movie.

But hey, if they do make one, I'll probably go see it. I don't want to pass up seeing a bunch of scantily clad, well endowed women, getting into kung fu cat fights.

As for actors, I guess Dennis Rodman could play Zack.

But thats just my opinion.:D

Vegeta ROcker just gave me an Idea. We don't need to find actors or actresses to play the parts. Square Soft has that multi million dollar studio to make movies it could be an animated file or better yet Pixar could do it....... DOA The Movie....Finding Hayate or DOA The Movie........ A Shinobi's Life , or possible an extension of the Toy Story Series where Woody and Buzz find Lefang and Kasumi Action figures ( Maybe not ?...... are we ready for Adult Toy Story III ? Woody and Buzz in Adult toy story Hmmmmmm..... I don't want to be banned so I'll stop now)

I heard about this a couple months back. I was at GameFAQs and there it was, a link to GameSpot that said something like "DOA to go Hollywood?" Sadly, I checked it out because I was curious as to whom would actually be stupid enough to want to do a movie about Dead or Alive. Sure, it's a great fighting game. But what the hell type of movie could it be? The series has never made sense to me. I don't know what the story is at all. It seems that every DOA has different stories behind them, and the past DOA's have no relation to each other at all.

First game, you've got some human boss in a sewer, and I really don't know what it was all about. Second game has you fighting something called a Tengu, which has wings and a huge nose. Then in the third one we've got some kinda demon samurai or whatever it is.

If they can get a decent plot out of all that, I'd praise the hell out of the. If anyone can actually explain the plot of the games, please do so. Because right now I obvious don't see one.

I mean at least Mortal Kombat had the storylines from each game carry over to the next. Street Fighter did too in a way, but they just made the movie totally wrong.

Resident Evil, and Mortal Kombat, thus far, are the only decent video game to movie conversions to date. The rest are pretty much garbage.

Street Fighter turned from a tournament into some sort of bizarre love story. I'm still trying to figure out why Guile, the epitome of American, was played by someone whose English can barely be understood.

Hell, I'm sure this will turn out better than the planned Crazy Taxi movie.

Game movies would turn out well if they took themselves more seriously. If they made this movie like Fight Club, or something to that effect, it would probably rock.

I heard about it and I think that its another rumor.Like the Silent Hill movie.Well I think that the people of Resident Evil did a great job on making the movie. The first one was done on a low budget...I thought u should know.Well thats all I have to say and I do believe that if they do make a movie...I'll go see it.

Yeah, its probably a rumor, as stated above, DOA never really had much of a story. It'd probably look stupid trying to conform the game to some farfetched story so that it can be made into a movie. However, I'd love to see the fight scenes and such. How awesome would it be to see hot girls in skimpy clothes busting each other through walls and stuff?

Really I can't see it being really good but that really doesn't mean I won't see it. I do hope its an animated movie so its still graphical and not actual people.. I just think it would be much better....:P Seeing as how I like all the games, I will more than likely be going to see it if it comes out...

OT: Does Anyone know when FF7 Advent Children is coming out?
