RPG Dark Messenger

As the court watched the J-Pawn throw the glass orbs into the air, they laughed with glee. Suddenly she stopped, two orbs fell into her hands. But the thrid orb dropped downa nd crash on the floor. They stopped laughing.

Jester: Forgive me, my king, queen, and royal court. I had no means of which by to...

Queen: Worry not J-Pawn, for it matters not. You have given the court a show and that is what matters.

J-Pawn was releaved by the Queen's kind words. She picked up the broken glass and put the shardes into a pocket held at her side. She then jumped up into the air and dissappered. As J-Pawn left a knight cam rushing in. He was battle torn and looked as if he would die right in front of the King and court. The knight stopped and kneeled.

Knight: Sir I have news on the war, the third knighthood has fallen.

King: I understande, this war has gone on far too long. This is the fourth knigthood we have lost in one war.

The king got up in front of the court.

King: I will sent the girl on a journey to gather the greatest fighters and kill the Dark Messenger so that peace may come to the land once more.

Queen: Dose any one see any fail in that, if thy plan not work out we will go to our last restort and use all the dragons we may get...

Hours later, the jester was called into the throne room. She came walking throuh the large red doors only to find. To find that there was all of the remaining knighthoods. She walked pass them and bowed to the king and queen.

King: J-Pawn the journey to destory the evil has been placed on your shoulders.

J-Pawn: But I'm not trained as a knight,...err...forgive me my knig.

King: You were trained at a young age to be a knight by your late father. You had then trained with my knighthoods. You could do better then some of the knights in this room. This is what you will sya to any one you see fit as to aid you on your way:

In thu name of life, and thy death
Release thu soul, and fight thy will
Thu shall die in dark nor light
Thu shall die in soul alone
Will shall fore hence go alone

J-Pawn: Yes my king.

King: Dissmissed!

The jester got up and walked down pass the row of knights again. After out the red doors, she jumped up into the air and dissappered once more. Later she came to the gates and was give five scrolls, each holding a different meaning of what the mission was. Once out side the kingdoms limits she went into the forest surrounding the kingdom. And walked through it thinking of what the king had said, remembering what to say to those she saw fit to fight the Dark Messenger along with her.

Dango sat in the woods. He looked ahead at the trees.
"There's nothing better then a peaceful night in the woods..." He closed his eyes. He picked out a bag of coins and trew them in the air and caught them. He laughed.
"I can't believe I found all this!" He then opened is eyes, as he heard the trees rustlle. He looked around. He jumped up and walked around for a bit. Then, BANG! He was knocked to the grond as a boy hit him with a brunch and stole his money.
"HEY!" Dango jumed over the logs and chased the boy.
"GO GET YOUR OWN!" The boy had long blonde hair and blue pants. The boy jumped over a fallen tree. Soon, they came out onto a road and Dango comtied to chase him. He came into a town and jumped on top of the boy.
"GIVE ME THAT!" Dango snatch the coins off him.
"If you wanted some you could have ask..." Dango smiled.

Aelus opened his eyes. The sky was black, though it wasn't night time. Thunder jumped and bounced everywhere violently. Strange, these times were.

He leaned on his staff to help him get up. Then he began to walk.

No longer could he follow the path of a healer because of the Dark Messenger. Never again could he become a healer for not only had he learned the dark arts, but he had taken many peoples' lives.

The forest came to a clearing, Aelus hoped it was a village, but to his dismay, it was only the charred remains of one. He continued on, hoping to find a village sooner or later.

J-Pawn walked through the forest. Till she came to an open road, she fallowed down. She had still not found anyone who could help to fight the Dark Messenger. No village, no warriors, no nothing.

I'm getting board of this...: she thought. As she went down the road she saw something moving through the trees that were close to her. It had seemed to be a mage. She turned and went back into the forest. And started to catch up to the mage.

She jumped up into the air and got hold of a tree branch and started jumping from one to another. Till she was close to him over head. J-Pawn then stopped to see if he had noticed her.

[Jay]

Aelus had been walking for wuite some time when he noticed a ruffle from a tree above him. No animal would have stayed around the area after what happened to the village: they all would have been scared away. He was being followed.
Aelus: You can show yourself, I know your there.
He waited for a response

J-Pawn looked down. He was looking in the same dircition that she was in. She jumped down form the tree. And landed infront fo him. A grin came over her face. Yet he stared at her.

J-Pawn: A mage I see.

Aelus: Who are you?

J-Pawn: For give me, I have not stated who I am yet. My name is J-Pawn.

J-Pawn then quikly bowed and looked at him.

Aelus: I'm guessing the jester of the court then, am I right?

J-Pawn: Yes you are correct, may I ask you some thing?

Aelus: Depends on what the question is.

J-Pawn: I see...what is your name?

Aelus: ...

As he walked of the tavern Vagen looked around the town. It was a beautiful day, which not even an Orc could have runied. But he was soon proven wrong by the loud shouts from a boy who was runing towards the town at great speed followed, it seemed, by an Elf.

He watched the boy pass him and the Elf had caught up, he lept upon the boy and snatched the bag of money the boy seemed to have saying to him [i]"If you wanted some you could have ask..."[/i]. He watched the Elf walk away and he offered a hand to the youngester, which he took greatfully.

"What just happened between you and that Elf?" Vagen asked

"He jumped me and took my money, so I took it back and then he took it again. Could you get it back for me?" He said looking up with great puppydog eyes.

"I'd be glad to" Vagen replied. And he took of after the Elf to retrive the boys money

Aelus: My name is Aelus, why dose it matter?

Just then as Aelus had stated his name. An elf came running by and almost knocked J-Pawn down. But she jumped up and got away from the hit. The elf went to the road leading away, he walked cheerfully throwing up and ctahing a bag of something.

J-Pawn: Please excuse me for a second.

J-Pawn then left and went on to the path, and catched up with the elf. She tapped him on the shoulder and he turned. J-Pawn then punched him.

Elf: What was that for!?!

J-Pawn: I was in a conversaion and you came and almost knocked me over!

Elf: Opps, didn't see you there.

Foot steps came about Aelus was coming down on the path. But yet once he stopped walking and got to them there were still the sound of rushing foot steps. They all looked back and saw another mage coming down. It looked like he was coming for the elf.

[Dj Professor DM]

*Meteo enters the courtroom and bows to the king and queen and stays at a knee.*
Meteo:"You summoned me your majesty..."
King:"Yes Meteo I want you to aid J-Pawn in fighting the Dark Messanger. J-Pawn has already left so you must hurry"
Meteo:"Very well your majesty. I will catch up with J-pawn and I will aid her in combat."
*Meteo gets up and goes out.*
Meteo(Thinking):"Dark Messenger my revenge is coming for you now..."
*Meteo heads the same direction that J-pawn took.*
Meteo:"I have some lost ground to make up."

The other mage stopped at the elf.

Mage: Thief, I'm here to aid the child and have back his belongings.

Elf: What! That kid had stolen the money from me!

J-Pawn: This is useless!

Aelus: Their bickoring is too loud, it might draw attenion.

J-Pawn: We could stop them if we had any clue on what was going on.

The elf and the mage contuied their fight. It had seemed like one had stolen money from a child bu the child had stolen money from the elf.

As damion set out for the nearest town, tired of being alone, he would use his stealth to sneak past enemys and keep running until he found civilization. as damion was running and weaving in and out of trees 3 bandits were awakend and attacked him, damion climbed a tree and used his bow to kill 2 of them. the 3rd ran in terror. damion looted the corpse only to find a rusty assain dagger. he was very pleased for his fathers dagger was stolen by the mereles enemys that slayed him. damion slept in a tree and the next morning continued to walk through the forest. damion remebered that when he was young his father brought him to a high cliff where he could see the valley below. damion tryed to rember wehre the cliff was but only knew that it was north. he walked north for 3 hours until he walked past the final tree to the cliff. there he looked into the valley below and saw the misty swamp. damion wondered what lied before him and decided to set up camp. as damion ate a small rabbit he shot, the sun set. damion was reminded how much he loved his father. right before he went to sleep he looked over the cliff for the last time that night, it was comletly dark, except for some shining lights that could be seen through the trees. damion didnt rember them when he came here with his father. damion expected a small village was founded since the last time hed been here nearly 10 years ago. damion knew now wehre to go. but didnt know how to get past the swamp. all he knew was that he had to use all the skills his father had taught him to sneak by all of his enemys.

Aelus, and J-Pawn left the mage and elf to sort out their burdens with each other.

J-Pawn: Aelus, what had you been looking for in the forest?

Aelus: I was looking for a town or a place to stop.

J-Pawn smiled: We'll lucky for you there's one near by.

J-Pawn changed their path and lead them to a town. Aelus smiled, and thanked J-Pawn. He then left her to go around and look around the town. She went to go find the Inn to get a room. After that was done she figured she might as well look around town too.

"This shouldn't be to hard to get across" evean said as he came to a swamp. He looked up to his and he could see a small camp with some one there. "Best not to disturbe them" evean said to him self as he started to climb A tree. He jumped to the nearest one to him. The tree started to sink abit and he almost fell off. "I realy hate swamps" evean thought. After A couple of minutes he came to the villiage. He used his whip to catch wrap on a tree branch that was to far for him to jump to. He swung across on the whip and untied it. "Time to see if there is any thing of worth here" evean said as he went into the shadows.

Rayne smiled bitterly and pulled her dark cowl further over her face. She repeated her mantra over and over in her head, "Dark is the way I follow, black is my path. To walk in the shadow, is to see the light. It is the blind who truly see." She brushed back the bandages over her eyes, it had not been long since she lost those eyes and became a dark hunter, able to see with her mind and not her lying eyes. For that which is fair to see, is not always truth.
Rayne tugged at her cowl again, if anyone saw her bandaged eyes there would be trouble. A sixth sense told her that her kind were not welcome here. She slid backwards into the woods, when the same sixth sense warned her that soemone was there.

Damion awakend the next morning knowing he would have to ravage through the swamp. He ate a quick breakfast of small rabbit knowing that he would be able to eat at the town but he couldnt fight or travel on a empty stomach. as he walked down the path eating berrys taking his time and saving his energy for fighting and running. as he took the last steps on the trail he stopped and looked at the murky swamp. he took his first step in adn just quietly waded trying not to awaken anything that would make an attempt to kill him. he continued to walk in the swamp until it was hard to see due to fog. as he walked into deeper water he heard eerie sounds adn walked as fast as he could. The water became more shallow and damion was walking on land again. but he knew there was more swamp to walk through. suddenly a medium size hydra emerged from the mist and damion was quick to draw his bow and shoot an arrow at it. he hit a direct shot in one of the heads. but it seemed to do no damage what so ever so he drew his rusty dagger and slashed the hydras head off. as damion was pacing back the hydra grew 2 more heads. damion knew he could not kill it by chopping the heads, he would have to stab and shoot the body. damion grabbed his bow and shot 2 arrows at the hidras stomach each penetrating and drawing blood. but the hydra was as energetic as ever. damion fired another shot and the hydra made an attack at damion but he was quick to evade the counter. he shot more and more arrows. he drew 2 arrows and shot them at the same time. as damion reached for 2 more arrows the hydra countered and bit damion in the tricep. damion could feel the venom.
he was enraged with anger and his heart rate increased. he shot more and more arrows as fast as he could. the hyrda could not counter because it was constantly stunned with arrows. then damion drew another arrow and pulled it back as far as he dared for he feared of his fathers bow snaping. He released. the arrow traved with extreme speed and struck the hydra right in the heart. the arrow continued out the other side of the hydra. the hydra fell to the ground stone dead. damion was quick to loot the corpse only to find a dozen coins. damion figured that he could use these for room and board. he continued to truge in the swamp till almost dusk. then a wolf emerged. damion drew his dagger knowing the wolf could be easily slain. the wolf tryed a swift attack but damion slashed the wolf in the neck. it tryed to flee but damion drew his bow and put the wolf out of its misery. damion was tempted to loot the corpse but he knew there would be nothing. as night apprached damion took the last foot steps in the swamp and came to a dry dirt path that would most likely lead him into town. he was cautious walking on the path. he had a strange feeling of an ambush of assasins or raders just wating for him. damion drew his dagger and slowly walked being ready for an attack. as he walked along a bride his instincts were correct. there had been a pack of 5 assasins waiting for him at the bride. he drew his bow and picked 1 off. the assasins charged. damion dropped his bow and drew his dagger. he turned around and slashed the 3 assasins. as he turned around he saw the other assain fleeing with his fathers bow. damion thrwe the dagger and it sloopily hit the assasin in the back sbrining him to his knees. damion approached the suffering assasin and pulled the dagger from his back and stabbed it in again and twisted it, ending the assains life. damion took the time to loot all the corpses for another dozen gold and this time finding a non-crude dagger from one on the assasins. damion didnt want anymore fighting. he could feel himself growing weak from the poisen of the hydra. he ran clumsily along the path until he reached a large wood gate, He had reached the town.

J-Pawn walked back into the Inn. Aelus was still going around so she didn't have a chance to talk to him, till he came back. J-Pawn wasn't even sure if he knew what inn she was in. But then again it was one of the only inns in the town. So he'd come back soon enough. J-Pawn sat on one of the beds and stared out the window. She heard a thumping sound at the door. J-Pawn went and opened the door, it was the inn keeper.

Keeper: Exsuce miss, but would it be alright if I put one more person in here with you?

J-Pawn: Sure.

Keeper: Thanks we had ran out of rooms, and he needs a rest badly it would seem.

J-Pawn: Alright, they'll be able to get a good rest. I can a sure you of that.

Keeper: Thanks, he's a knight he should arrive here soon.

J-Pawn: Ok.


The keeper left and J-Pawn took a seat on one of the other beds and stared out the window. She started to humm.

Damion looked at the large wooden gate and above it was a small sign that said, "Welcome To Durotar". damion stumbled into town not knowing where to go. he bumped into a fairly large woman. damion said, " excuse me miss but where is the inn?". the woman replied, well im the innkeeper, oh dear u look like u need a room. yes damion replied. by now damion could hardly walk. he had to almost crawl. he knew he needed to sleep. as he tripped into the inn the innkeep helped him up. damion could see a man looking out the widow. the man came to help damion. they dragged him into a room. he fell asleep instanly.

Damion woke up in the morning and saw the man lloking out the window again.

Damion said, " Hi"

J-Pawn sat there becoming very board, she stopped humming. She spring up off the bed and walked over to the open window. She put her hands on the window cell and stared out side. J-Pawn then went out of her room, and down to the inn keeper. This time it wasn't the same inn keeper as before, this one was a women. She smiled when she saw J-Pawn.

Inn Keeper: What can I help you with today?

J-Pawn smiled, "I was just looking around."

"Oh well, feel free to look around. But please don't create too much noise." the women said, "We had gotten an archer here, who's badly wounded."

"Can I ask which room he's in?" J-Pawn asked.

She said, "Sure, he's in the room right next to your's. You could go cheer him up."

J-Pawn, "I could try. Thanks!"

She then went back up the stairs and into her own room. She took out 3 small glass orbs. So that she could make sure she wouldn't drop one if she went into the other room to cheer up the archer. Just like the ones she had used in front of the court, she had hidden them in side the bag that hung around her with the scrolls. Incase she dropped one again there was a fourth one in her bag. One by one they went higher into the air, till all three were spining round and around. She decided that she had been pratcing enough and would go talk to the archer. So one by one they fell into her hands but she stumbled on the third one. It came crashing to the floor with a loud crash.

The man turned around. it appeared as if he was a drak wanderer. damion could not see his face. the man said, " damion i know u seek to avenge your fathers death, that would quench your thirst for blood.
the creature that slayed your fathers name is Sylvannis Windrunner. she resides in the ashenvile forest, she is so evil u can see the darkness burn from her arrows and her eyes. one important thing is u can not be touched by the arrows before they are vampiric and drain your life until u faint." damion replyed, "what are u-" suddenly the wanderer turned around and just vanished. damion was confused. he layed down again and dozed off.

J-Pawn picked up the glass and started to put it back in the bag. So that later it could be re-maleted. She did decided not to try to cheer him up with juggleng act, instead just to visit. J-Pawn left her room and went next door. She knocked but got no answer. She opened the door to find him on his bed, he looked like he was a sleep. J-Pawn remebered what the inn keeper had said, not to wake him. So J-Pawn turned to leave, but as she went for the door handle he awoke.

"Hi," the archer said.

J-Pawn turned around and smiled, "Um...Hello. Nice to see you awake. How was your sleep?"

The archer sat up in his bed, "Restful."

"That's good," said J-Pawn, "I see that your an archer, how long have you been praticing?"

"Most of my life." said the archer, "May I ask what your name is?"

"My name is J-Pawn." she said cheerfully, "Now may I ask a question of you?"

The archer sighed, "Go ahead."

"Hm...what's your name?" she asked.

Aelus had ben wandering the town for a few hours. He found nothing that really interested him.
As he spotted a merchant selling food, he walked over.
Aelus picked out some fruit and bread. He took a few gold coins from his pouch to pay for them. He walked towards the inn, ready to get some rest.
As he walked in, he saw a large woman cleaning up.
Aelus: Has a jester come in here and rented out any rooms?
Woman: Why, yes. I believe she is ccurrently entertaining a wounded archer.
Aelus: Thank you.
Aelus began to look around for the archer and J-Pawn.

i am damion he replied i am seeking vengence for my fathers death when he was slain by sylvannis windrunner. she resides in the ashenville forest, even though i have no clue where that is. i weild my fathers bow, and all his wisdom at the same time.

J-PAwn heard a voice coming from down stairs. It souded like it was Aelus.

"Please, excsue me for a moment." J-Pawn said.

J-Pawn then turned around and went out the door, looking around the hall she saw no one. So she went near the steps, he wasn't there. She looked around and didn't see him. Suddenly a voice came behind her that made her jump. She turned around and saw Aelus.

"Heh, did I scare you?" he said with a smirk.

J-Pawn was still a little shakey, "Um...of course not, hehee."

Aelus smiled, "Who's this archer you were talking to?"

"He's in the room next to ours," J-Pawn replied, "Here this way."

Aelus and J-Pawn walked down the hall, she pointed out there room. And the one next to it. The one next to it was the archer's. Aelus and J-Pawn walked in.

"Aelus this is Damion," J-Pawn said, "Damion this is Aelus."

its a pleasure to meet u aleus, altough i fear i dont have to much time to talk im going to cash in my goods from hunting and see if i can get a new dagger. mine is extremly weak and poses little to no power. ill leave u 2 to talk. ill be back in an hour. damion walked out the door and went dowstairs. and exited the inn.
