Transtic Nerve Posted August 17, 2001 Share Posted August 17, 2001 Usually if it's drawn in America it's not considered anime, however MANY MANY shows (ie: some Batman shows, PPG, etc) are completely based on Japanese anime. Shows like Thunder Cars, SilverHawk (i think that was it) and Transformers shown here in the states, were drawn by Americans but completely based off of Japanese anime. The same thing will happen with the new Robotech series in production. It will be drawn by japanese artist but in America so yeah.... you get the point...
