It all starts, as a boy at the age of 8 lies down on his bed staring off into space. The boys name was Rush, and he LOVED pokemon.
[b]Rush[/b] I wish...I could be a trainer...and have a growlithe, and compete in the leagues...and become famous...*sighs* only 2 more years to go...
Of course, thaT was 5 years ago.
NOW, Rush is a trainer, along side with his one and only pokemon, Growlithe. They've been best friends ever since the day they met. Today, they were in a forest looking for some bug-type Pokemon.
Growlithe sniffed around looking for any signs of pokemon.
After 10 minutes of walking they could find nothing.
[b]Rush[/b] **sighs** I guess its just you and me Growlithe...
He sat on a rock.
[b]Rush[/b] We can NEVER find any pokemon...
Sudennly the heard a "bzzzz" noise.
[b]Rush[/b] Wha...Wha...Whats that!?
He looked behind him and saw a beedrill.
His face lightened up with joy.
[b]Rush[/b] Finnaly!! Heres our chance growlithe! Go get him!
Before Growlith could attack with his "bite" attak, beedrill used its Pin Needle. The attack gave growlithe minor injuries. Growlithe lept back up. This time, Beedril fired a poison sting. Growlithe barely parried the attack.
[b]Rush[/b] Perfect chance! He's off gaurd! Ember attack!!!
Flames shot out of Growlithes mouth. They hit the Beedrill bringing him down.
[b]Rush[/b] Woohoo! Nice job Growlithe! Now All i have to do is---
He reached into his pocket.
[b]Rush[/b] :eek: Ahh! No...i forgot to buy pokeballs. We cant cath em unless we have those... :( perfect oppurtunity ruined...

Flashback:
Kitty: ...Why can't I be a trainer, too? Why do they get pokemon and I don't?! It's not fair!!

Kitty bursts into tears. The man tries to comfort her, but she hits his hand away.

Man: I'm sorry, but mom says-

Kitty: Who cares?! All I want is someone to accompany me! You can't, brother can't, mom won't, no one! I have nothing! The least you could do is give me a chance to start my pokemon-

Man: I'm sorry. I can't. You'll have to wait...

Present:
Kitty jumps up, her face covered by her hair, the alarm clock buzzing.
Kitty: Only a stupid dream...

Kitty gets out of bed and gets ready for the day. She walks down stairs and grabs an apple and her backpack. She ignores her mother and walks out the door.

Kitty: Slash!

A sneasle comes walking out of the trees surrounding Kitty's home.

Slash: Sneasle!

They walk out towards the path leading to the city. Kitty now has a smile on her face as she sees a boy coming her way.

Kitty: I think it's about time we continue our journey Slash. We still have a few badges collect and some pokemon to catch! Hey, look who it is. Mikey! Your just the man I wanted to see. How 'bout a battle.

Mike: With you? Okay! I've been waiting all summer to beat you. Ha ha. Prepare to lose!

[color=teal][i]Kelsey and Drowzee had left home quite early to finally continue their Pokemon journey after five whole years. Drowzee hatched almost five years ago, and it became her first Pokemon. However, she had turned out to be a terrible trainer; she had no success in catching Pokemon, she sometimes pushed Drowzee too hard in battle, and she could never even get her Pokemon to evolve. Sometimes she got completely selfish and completely ignored Drowzee! She had not even been able to win one badge, and she got so frustrated she eventually decided to give up. However, she did not release Drowzee; its mother was Kelsey's dad's Pokemon. Drowzee was not yet ready to live on its own. But, five years later, she decided to turn over a new leaf and start her journey over again... She left home and headed for the nearest town.[/i]

[u]Kelsey:[/u] *looks at the map* Hmmm... This is the only way to the next town, huh? Oh great, all we have to do is go over the mountain...

[i]She and Drowzee tried to climb the mountain (there was no route around it), but it was too steep. But then, the mountain seemed to shake... Was it an earthquake? Kelsey panicked slightly, while Drowzee just sat there, apparently bored. A cloud of smoke emerged from in front of the mountain, and when it cleared, a bunch of Diglett were dancing around.[/i]

[u]Kelsey:[/u] Hey look! It's a tunnel! Maybe it leads to the other side of the mountain!

[i]Kelsey just barely managed to get through the opening of the tunnel, but Drowzee did not fit at all. Disappointed, Kelsey quickly got out of the tunnel, wondering what they should do next. But then she got this weird idea of trying to capture one of the Diglett... Hmmm... Not a bad idea.[/i]

[u]Kelsey:[/u] Wow, it'd sure be great to have one of those Diglett around! I bet one of them could dig right through the mountain! You ready, Drowzee?

[u]Drowzee:[/u] Zee.

[u]Kelsey:[/u] OK then... Use Confusion!

[i]Then, someone interrupted her...[/i]

[u]???:[/u] HEY! You there? Wanna battle?

[u]Kelsey:[/u] Excuse me, mister. I'm trying to capture a Pokemon, OK?

[u]???:[/u] Oh, going for that wimpy little Diglett over there, huh? Hello, my name's Daron. And you better not run away, little girl.

[u]Kelsey:[/u] Who are you calling little? I accept your challenge!

[i]Drowzee appears in front of Kelsey.[/i]

[u]Daron:[/u] Oh so that's your Pokemon, huh? Well, then... Go, Machop!!!

[u]Kelsey:[/u] :laugh: Is that the best you got? You should know a Fighting-type is no match for a Psychic-type! We'll show you!

[u]Daron:[/u] Well, Machop's my only Pokemon...

[i]Machop starts out with a Karate Chop, but Drowzee stops it with Confusion.[/i]

[u]Daron:[/u] Grrr... OK, Machop, use Focus Energy!

[u]Machop:[/u] Chopppp!

[u]Daron:[/u] Now, use Seismic Toss!

[u]Kelsey:[/u] :smirk: Do it, Drowzee.

[i]Just as Machop tried to grab Drowzee, Drowzee stops it with Hypnosis. Within seconds, Machop instantly falls asleep.[/i]

[u]Daron:[/u] WAKE UP, MACHOP!!!

[u]???:[/u] And Drowzee wins the battle!

[u]Kelsey:[/u] Officer Jenny?!?

[u]Jenny:[/u] Well, Kelsey, I haven't seen you in a long time!

[u]Kelsey:[/u] What are you doing here?

[u]Jenny:[/u] I've lately been receiving complaints about people not being able to get to Cottonwall City. This mountain is in the way.

[u]???:[/u] We can help.

[i]Two people appear, wearing black uniforms with big red R's on them. They order a group of Rhydon to dig through the mountain.[/i]

[u]Jenny:[/u] Wait! You can't dig through Mt. Moon!

[u]Kelsey:[/u] You'll upset all the Clefairy there! And the Moon Stone too! Those poor Clefairy... (to herself) I wish I had one...

[u]Drowzee:[/u] Drowwww.

[i]As the Rhydon approach the mountain, Drowzee uses Confusion on them. The two Rhydon rise up in the air and fall on the two other people.[/i]

[u]???:[/u] Nobody messes with Team Rocket! Next time you won't be so lucky...

[i]A couple of other Jennys arrive and throw the Rockets in jail.[/i]

[u]Kelsey:[/u] Wow, it looks like we're making some progress for a change![/color]

[Kitty]

Mike: No! I couldn't lose! My Scyther! No!

Kitty: You shouldn't have relied only on it's strength. You also needed his speed and defense. Remember that and you might last more than 2 minutes against me.

Slash: Snnnneeesal!

Kitty and Slash begin walking away leaving an upset Mike and unconcious Scyther. They walked for about 1 hour and finally came upon a town. Many people were talking about the recent capture of some Team Rocket members.

Kitty: Odd. Team Rocket should be long gone by now. Isn't that interesting. A girl named Kelsey caught them? I've never heard of her.

Slash is nearly thrown in the air when 2 people come running towards Kitty.

Boy: Aren't you the famous trainer Kitty?

Kitty: Why should I tell you? Is there something special about Kitty?

Kitty was toying with the kids so that she could learn some opinions about her. Slash was very observant, making sure no one was going to get closer to Kitty.

Girl: Please sign this!

Kitty: I'm sorry. I don't have a pen. Maybe later. Good bye!

Kitty waved at the disappointed kids, but smiled, making them cheer up.

Kitty: I'm glad that's over. I hate it when kids do that. I wonder if I'll meet a decent trainer here. Hmm...

Slash: Sneasle!

Monkeys2Revenge, I don't see the point in posting here in the rpg. It is spam. I am not trying to play mod because that is the last thing I want to be, is a mod. No offense to the mods. But it is against the rules and I think you should have pmed instead of posted here in the rpg. Just my thoughts.

[i] The sun shines bright on Ryan's face as he sleeps in his sleepingbag in the woods. The ashes from the fire still glow red a tiny bit. A pidgey chirps loudly and wakes up Ryan and Phanpy from their deep sleep. Ryan stretches to wake up and then throws some water over the remaining ash to make sure that the first is completly out. Ryan looks behind him and sees his Phanpy smiling at him, obviously ready to try and go find a battle.[/i]

Ryan: We'll have to put the battling to the side for a while, Phanpy. I still need to clean up everything and put up the sleepingbags. Then maybe after that we can go catch a battle.

Phanpy: PHANPY!!!PY!!!!

[i]Ryan starts to put everything away, the sleepingbags, all of the food they left out from the night before.[/i]

Ryan: I didn't even think. All of this food could attract wild pokemon! Oh well, I guess they didn't smell it this time.

[i]Ryan puts all of the trash into a trash bag and throws it away.[/i]

Ryan: Ok, Phanpy, we are all packed up and ready to go. Ready??

[i]Before Phanpy could answer next a swarm of wild Caterpie, Weedle, and a few Beedrill appear out of no where.[/i]

Ryan: Oops... I think they wanted that food. They look angry.

[i]Ryan and Phanpy stand there staring at the Swarm of Bug Pokemon, obviously angry at them because they threw away all of the food.(See before post, above.)[/i]

Ryan: Ok Phanpy, let's show them what you can do! Use Leer then Rapid Spin all of there butts!

[i] Phanpy shoots a leer, missing a few Caterpie and Weedle and hitting the rest. Then Phanpy goes into an all out Rapid Spin attack and knocks most of the pokemon back into the woods, just doing a little damage.[/i]

Ryan: Now lets run for it Phanpy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

[i]Phanpy and Ryan run for there lives. Ryan turns his head around to see the swarm going after them, even angrier than before. Ryan looks forward and sees a lake. Him and Phanpy run even faster and jump into the lake, keeping their heads underneath the water. Ryan looks up and sees all of the pokemon had gone away. Phanpy and Ryan brings their heads to the surface and take a breath, looking around to make sure the swarm had gone. It had. They realized that this was a great opportunity to go for a swim. [/i]

[Kitty]

Kitty and Sneasle keep looking around the town. They were looking for a challenge, but only one person asked them to fight.

Boy: I'll fight you!

Kitty: Really? Who do you want to fight. I'll let you chooose. Sneasle here, Umbreon, Bagon, Skitty, Torchic, or my tiny little baby Charmander? Who'll it be?

Boy: I wanna fight your Skitty. Wait, your Charmander!!

Kitty: Fine. I'm warning you, though. He's a very cute little thing, so don't hurt him to much.

Slash: Sne. Sneasle.

Boy: Whatever, go Golduck!!

After about 2 minutes, the Golduck was knocked out cold. The boy is staring with wide eyes.

Boy: H-how? Why couldn't my Golduck beat your Charmander?

Kitty: It's level 52. That's why. What's your Golduck's level?

Boy: Only 38...

Kitty calls back Charmander and walks away, Sneasle by her side.

Kitty: Poor kid, his only pokemon got beat by a baby.

After 30 minutes of walking in the deep forest, growlithe's and Rush's stomachs moaned and groaned.
[b]Rush[/b] Im...so...hungry.....

Suddenly Growlithe brang up his nose and started sniffing around.
[b]Rush[/b] Whaddya smell boy?? Food??
[b]Growlithe[/b] Grow! Growlithe!
He said happily as he ran toward the direction he smelled the food from.
Rush followed short behind.

Before he could finish his sentence growlithe came to a sudden stop. He was in front of a large lake.
[b]??[/b] Who're you?
Said a boy inside the lake.
He was beside a Phanphy.
[b]Rush[/b] Ehh, im Rush...and this is my growlithe. Im gonna be a pokemon master! Right Growlithe?---Oh but first! We need to settle or appetite... Got any food?

[i]A Ralts appears from behind a tree, and Drowzee starts a battle with it. The Ralts is easily put to sleep thanks to Drowzee's Hypnosis attack.[/i]

[u]Kelsey:[/u] Pokeball, go!

[i]The ball wriggles for a few moments, then... The light goes out, and Ralts is captured![/i]

[u]Kelsey:[/u] All right! We caught a Ralts!

[u]???:[/u] Wow, pretty impressive. But not good enough...

[u]Kelsey:[/u] What do you mean? Who are you?

[u]???:[/u] I'm Kitty. You?

[u]Kelsey:[/u] Oh, I'm Kelsey. Hey, that's a nice Sneasel you got there! Slash, is its name?

[u]Kitty:[/u] ...How did you know? Wait a minute... I remember you. You're the one who stopped Team Rocket from cutting through the mountain, huh?

[u]Kelsey:[/u] OK, I'm not exactly psychic or anything... Well, yes, I did stop them, but it was nothing, really...

[u]Kelsey:[/u] Oh. Hey. I heard you got creamed by Kitty. In that case, you'll be no match for me...

[i]A Mightyena appears out of a Pokeball.[/i]

[i]A direct hit! Mightyena is knocked out... Can it get up?[/i]

[i]Hypnosis time! Mightyena falls asleep mid-charge.[/i]

He said to Ryan.

As Rush stared into the water, he saw a blurry image of a figure under the water Ryan was in.
[b]Rush[/b] Ahh!? There's something under there--in the water...
[b]Ryan[/b] Wha?!!
Ryan dove under water and looked around. He saw a pokemons shadow.
[b]Ryah[/b] A pokemon!
The figure emerged from the water.
[b]Rush[/b] A Seadra!!
The Seadra danced around in the water.
[b]Rush[/b] Heh. your mine! Growlithe, ember attack!
The ember fired at Seadra. Seadra dove under water and was safe from the attack.
Rush waited patiently for the Seadra to rise back up, but it didnt. It dove back into the water and didnt comeback up.

Ki woke up and rubbed her eyes of sleep.She looked at her calendar.Today was the day.She jumped out of bed and ran into the bathroom that was connected to her room.She took a quick warm shower and changed into her usual clothes of blue jacket left open with a white t-shirt inside that had a baby blue coiled up Chinese dragon on the front,navy blue pants and blue and white nike joggers.She also grabbed her pair of custom made silver,reflective sunglasses.She placed them over her eyes and combed out her chocolate brown hair.Ki walked over to her bedside table and grabbed the shrunken Pokeball that was sitting there.She pulled out a necklace with a small clip on the end and connected the two items together.Ki always wore her prized pokemon's :ball: there.Then she picked up her backpack that was lying on the ground and slung it onto her back.It was navy blue.She looked around her room.She was going to miss it dearly.Then she ran out the room and down the stairs.Ki got some food for breakfast before exiting the house.She turned left and walked along the path and up to the door of her next door neighbour.She rapped on the door and waited.A boy opened the door and smiled.

Boy:I can't believe it.It's finally time.
Ki:I know.Come on Austin.Are you ready?
Austin:Yup.Just a min.

He walked into his house and grabbed his backpack.He exited the house and closed the door.

Ki:We're not going to be coming back for quite a while...
Austin:I know...Anyways how's Rum?
Ki:He's fine.

She tapped her necklace was.

Ki:What about Bagon?
Austin:He's doing great.
Ki:Why don't we let them have some exercise?
Austin:Great idea!Go Bagon!!

Ki plucked the pokeball off the clip and enlarged it.She held it forward.

Ki:Come on Rum!

It opened slightly in her grasp and in front of her was Rum which is short for Rumble her Poochyena.Ki smiled at Rum.He always made her happy.Ki took off her sunglasses to reveal her emerald eyes that people hardlty ever saw and crouched down and Rum ran to her and jumped into her lap.Ki hugged him and scratched him behind the ears.Then Ki let him go and he ran to Bagon and they started playing.Ki stood and placed the sunglasses over her eyes.

Austin:Why do you always wear your sunglasses?
Ki shrugged:I dunno.A habbit.

They continued walking with their pokemon playing around infront of them.

[I]There was a slight rusle in the bushes and the Bug type Pokemon that were in the Area quickly went into hiding, there were a few tense seconds as they waited to see what came out. From the bushes came a Pokemon trainer followed by a Ghastly, he looked around for a minute before talking[/I]

Ryan: Hmmm, this place looks like a heaven for Bug type Pokemon, and I wouldn't mind getting a Male Wurmple....those Dustox seem strong. What d'you thing Ghastly?

Ghastly: Ghastly, Ghast...Ghastly

Ryan: Yeah, I'll get the Pokedex to check if theres any Pokemon around

[I]Ryan took his bag from his back and started shifting things around, searching for the Pokedex. After a few seconds he found it and zipped up his bag and put it back on[/I]

Ryan: Right, okay. Dexter see if you can detect any Pokemon in the area

Dexter: There a severl Wurmple in this area and most of them seem to be male

Ryan: Great, [I]He palced Dexter in his pocket and took out an ordinary Pokeball[/I], Ghastly attack that bush over there with Confuse Ray

Ghastly: GHASTLY!

[I]Ghastly fired his attack at the bush and was able to flush out about three Wurmple and Ryan saw one of the male ones and directed Ghastly to use Confuse Ray on it directly, which he did[/I]

Ryan: Good job Ghastly, it's confused. Quickly, use Lick!

Ghastly: Ghast!

Ryan: Nicely done, Pokeball go!

[I]The Pokeball flew towards the dazed Wurmple and hit it on the head squarely, there was a flash of Light as the Wurmple was take inside the ball. It wobbled briefly before the light went green, showing that the Wurmple had been caught[/I]

Ryan: Alright, I got a Wurmple!

[Kitty]

OOC: I gave him an Everstone so he doesn't evovle. Charizard is useful, but since he's a flying type, he gets some new weaknesses. I hate weaknesses. They're a pain in the butt.

Kitty: That Kelsey shouldn't be much of a match for us with only a Drowzee and a Ralts. She seems not to have much experience either. So Slash, you wanna fight her?

Slash: Sne-Sneasle!

Kitty: Okay.

Kitty and Slash walk back to town. They had already gotten the badge from here, so they avoided the gym. Slash suddenly left Kitty's side, making Kitty follow. When Kitty caught up, she saw a boy and a girl battling. They watched, and by the looks of things, the girl clearly had the upper hand.

Kitty: Shall we challenge them?

Slash: Sneasle sneas!

Ryan: Just giving up that easily?
[i]Ryan dove, deeper into the lake, searching for the Seadra that had appeared on the surface. He noticed some wild Chin-chou and then spotted the Seadra. Ryan looked to his side and saw his loyal Phanpy. Ryan mouthed the words of an attack to Phanpy.
Ryan(mouthing)Leer than Rapid Spin Attack, but don't knock him out because I want to catch him!)
[i]Phanpy nodded and swam deeper into the lake. The wild Seadra noticed him and started to swim towards him, probably thinking about a little snack. Before Seadra could even think Phanpy had shot a Leer Attack and had hit, lowering Seadra's defense. The Seadra, shaking with anger, swam at Phanpy, headbutting Phanpy in the stomach. Phanpy flew back, but recovered and went into an all out Rapid Spin, knocking Seadra to the floor. Then Phanpy shot another Leer to make it easier to catch. Ryan was glad he brought down one pokeball. That is all he had, was one pokeball. He threw the pokeball at the Lake floor where Seadra was at. It lightly bounced off of Seadra and Seadra was sucked in. The pokeball was shaking. The Seadra wanted out.1...2....3...DING! Seadra was caught! Ryan dove deeper and grabbed the pokeball and hurried to the surface. He was almost out of breath and his ears were starting to pop. Girl: I'll leave that up to you. By the way, I'm Megan. Prepare to lose.

Kitty: Where have I heard that name before... Never mind. Pokeball go!

Megan: Go, Twinkle!

Out popped a Corsola and a Bagon. Kitty kept trying to remeber where she had heard Megan's name before. But before she could say anything, Corsola was already going for a headbutt.

Kitty: Bagon, stay in place!

Megan: What?! That's suicide! Oh well! Here's my move! Go, headbutt!

Corsola rammed as hard as it could at Bagon's head, but Bagon didn't move. When Corsola moved away, it suddenly began to move in all directions, then it toppled over unconcious.

Kitty: That was too easy. You should never use headbutt on a Bagon! They've got rock hard armor on their heads! That's just so stupid to forget.

Megan: Twinkle... Ouuu! You'll pay! I swear it!

With that, Megan returned her Corsola and began to run off, but just then, Kitty remebered that Megan was a member of Team Rocket that had escaped from the police. She began to run after Megan.

Ryu awoke from a deep sleep one fine morning.

He got dressed, brushed his teeth, combed his hair, and took a piece of toast off the table.

Ryu: Bye mom!

Rye slamed the door and started to run towards Mt. Moon. He took out a pokeball from his belt and threw held it out in front of him

Ryu: Come on, flame!!

A charmander came out of the pokeball.

Ryu: Come on Flame, we're late!

Flame, Ryu's charmander, rushed after him. Finally catching up.

Ryu: Come on Flame! We're almost to Mt. Moon!

Then out of the blue, *SLAM*.

Woman: Watch out kid!! I'm in a hurry.

This woman was dressed in black and had a big red R on her shirt. Then she rushed off. Ryu stood up, itching his head along with Flame very confused of what just happened. Then all of a sudden, *SLAM*. A girl had run into Ryu with the forse that felt like a train.

Ryu: OOooFF!!

Girl: Watch it!

Ryu: Who are you?

Girl: I am Kitty. Did you happen to see a woman with blond hair, dressed in black with a big red R on her shirt?

Ryu: Yes, why?

Kitty: YOU DID? Where did she go? Come on I don't have all day!

Ryu: Hold on. Who is she? And why are you chasing her?

Kitty: She's a member of Team Rocket! Her names Megan

Ryu: Enough said. Let me help!

Kitty: Oh, whatever. Follow me, and keep up!

And Kitty and Ryu chased after Megan.

Ryu: Where is she going?

Kitty: She's going to drill a hole through Mt. Moon!

Ryu: All thoughs Clefairy! Lets hurry!

Ryu: Flame, you should come back into your pokeball now.

And they rushed off.

Seion woke up took a shower and go dressed.. he waved goood bye to his sister and started off.

Seion: this is the day.. i get to train pokemon... *he looked over at magmar who was just as happey he was.. they were both jumping and dancing.*

they continued down the road. then they saw a wild electabuzz..

Seion: magmar youll help me catch that electabuzz.. right

Deep in a dark and lonely forest, a Houndour howled over the trees and his owner sat next to him. Rad had a grin on his face. He sat there looking into the night.
"Houdour you can stop now..." He said. The howls faded into the lonely night.
"I wish I wasn't alone...but this is my quest, and yours Houndour." Rad lay back.
"I'm getting up early tommorow. You better be up too." The small dog lay beside him and closed his eyes.
"Night Houdour..." Said Rad. He drifted off into a cold sleep. When morning comes, he would walk miles again. The dark trees blow around them, but Hounddour kept his trainer warm.
