So even if you did want to break the double-posting rules, it wouldn't work anyway. The best thing to do would be to save the content of the original post and then delete that one, then edit it into a new post to put into the thread. But do bear in mind that some discussions do just finish and can't be continued any more, and trying to do so might get irritating if [i]everyone[/i] wants a decent reply to their topic.
