One word of my opinion; no. No because it just might draw spam spam spam. I mean look at the YYH forum, its a very popular anime but I saw that 13 threads were closed simply because they were either spam or started off good but then attracted spam, and I personally think that a Kenshin forum might do the same thing as in attracting spam. But that's just my opinion.

We have a Yu Yu hakusho forum? *didn't know*

but yeah, I think if we made a forum for every anime that had a respectable fan base, we would have a list that's way too long, and discussions that are spread out all over the place, I'm sure this anime is good, but there is always Anime Lounge.

It's like Otaku Lounge.... For Anime :tasty:

I think there's a great potential for a Rurouni Kenshin forum. I can only imagine all the cool threads that will propagate from it's creation: Kenshin's style, the Meiji era, swords during Kenshin's time, do reverse blades exist?, samurai lifestyle, customs done in Kenshin need explanation, etc. Haha, I think it would rock!

I dont think there should be a seperate forum. Although it is a very good anime, I barely see any threads about it in the general anime forum. It doesnt seem like there would be very much discussion about it in its own forum. The general anime forum is a good enough place to talk about it I think. But hey, thats only my opinion.
However, I can't see a Kenshin forum being made as Anime Lounge itself isn't plagued by millions of Kenshin threads.
Hmmm... Isn't it your job as a moderator to make sure that doesn't happen? I've seen the moderators merge or close topics that have more than one thread on it, even if it is about a different aspect of the subject. For example, if there were two thread about Big O, one about the robot and how it functions and another about the show's plot, one would either be merged with the other, or just flat-out closed.

So, I don't think that's a valid reason to say Kenshin doesn't deserve it's own forum. Instead, we should look at how popular and big that one legitimate thread is, and how many varied topics lie within that one allowed pangea.

I have very little say in what goes in on Anime Lounge. It isn't my section, and to tell you the truth I couldn't care less about most anime. I let Shy and the other mods there take care of it unless there is some glaring problem I get to first.

There is only one Kenshin thread, and currently it's at the bottom of the page. A number of the posts in it are complete crap as well.

Most of the subforums seem to be created simply because AL is being bombarded by threads about that series. This really has never been a large problem with Kenshin that I've seen. If you want to go by post numbers in one single thread I can say we need a forum just for Caption Contests. It just doesn't work like that.

Look at some of the current subforums that are barelyt being posted in on a regular basis anymore. I just can't see another one being made given how slow some of them are as it is.

The only Kenshin thread basically just talks about the show. What happened today, what happened yesterday. Alot of people like Kenshin, and I like the series, but I don't think an entire forum would work. There's just not enough to talk about. If there is, no one does talk about it, anyway, judging by the number of threads. Seriously, how long can you talk about the sakabatou? Not to criticize you Azurewolf, but I don't think there's enough to have an entire forum. Maybe I'm wrong.
