RPG Dragon Soul: Rebirth and Discovery

Upon re-entry into the Earth's atmosphere, several shutters plunked down all over the ship to prevent the cryo cells from being damaged. The ship rumbled as it begun it's hard descent. Once a safe distance was acquired, the outer rim of the ship popped open and caught fire in the upper atmosphere. The rest of the ship, however, floated serenely through the sky, as though it had been there for a while. The automatic computer calculated that the planet was safe for habitation, and the cryo cells were opened.
Win stepped out of the cell at the back, as did his friend Enix.
"Well, we got a job to do, help everyone else up, and we can start looking for some place to live." Enix nodded, and the duo went around the ship opening cryo cells everywhere and relesing their inhabitants. Win helped up a young girl whom Cross had told him about. Sharlette opened her eyes slowly and saw Win carrying her out of the cell. She got up on her feet and streched, it felt good to be awake. Enix helped Ki and Kitty out of their cells, and the entire crew and civillian population on board went to the deck to recieve further instructions. Win decided to give the first speech.
"All of you are here, because this new land needs you. We were the victims of a terrible apocalypse, and all of you are required to do your part and save the human race. Some of us..." He looked at the group he would be travelling with. "Will carry a greater burden than others, but if all goes well, the world should be back to normal soon. I will now give the floor to our captain, Rui Rikaiga." Amid scattered applause, Rui stepped onto the "stage".
"All right, we are looking for some kind of area which could accomodate us, a place where we could have easy acess to natural resources, and where we can build facilites that are necessary. Hopefully there should be no magor problems, so everything should work out..." He was cut off as a massive exposion rocked the ship, and Win looked over the side, and saw that a giant tree had sprung out of nowhere. He called to his group.
"We should investigate, move out!" Win climbed down the tree first, he was curious to see what would happen...

OOC: Maybe this story doesn't have much direction, but the idea is that the world is totally diffrent, new species, new plants, etc. Be creative! Anyone who still wants to sign up can do so in recruitment.

"Come on ki and win let's see what cross and sakura taught you" enix said as he and win came down the tree with ki following. The ship had landed in A clearing surounded by A forest. "I would duck if I were you" win said as he droped. A black creature came from the forest and tried to hit einx and ki but they ducked before it hit them. "It looks like A bat and A realy big one at that" ki said as she got up. It was A big black bat with red eyes and long fangs.
"Well if it does have some relation to the bat my plan might work" enix said as he pulled out his flute. "And what if the plan doesn't work what'll you do" win asked as he prepared to fight. "Then be prepared to fight" enix said as started to play his flute. The bat just seemed to stall in the air and drop. The bat got up and hoped over to enix and sat down in front of him. "Well It seems to like your playing" win said and enix nodded. "So being the first new creature we see here, what are we going to call this thing" ki asked win.

[Kitty]

Just then, some others jumped out. They all had looks of amazment on their faces at the change of the planet. Kitty stepped back away from the group of people. She didn't seem to care.

Win: Hey guys. Look at this thing. What should we call it?

Enix: Let's just call it a Balloon bat. It's just like a bat except bigger.

Ki: What else?

Sharlette: How about... Big Bat!!

Win: Umm.. No. How 'bout you Kitty?

Kitty: I don't care. It's not like it'll care if we name it something like Fang bat or somethin'. It doesn't really matter.

Rui: I like that name. It'll be okay for me. Who else thinks so?

Kitty walked away, but no one noticed. She found another creature. This one looked like a cat. Kitty walked up to it, and saw that it was something like a dog, too. She stared at it.

Kitty: And what will they name you? Probably Dat or Cog. Hmph. They're such oddballs. I don't really care, though. I'll name you Lox. Do you like that?

Lox: Meow. Ruff-ruff!

Kitty: Okay... Anyway, I better go back to the others. They still haven't noticed I'm gone.

She started walking away, but Lox followed her. She turned and kept walking, a small smile on her face.

"Hmph, cute, but we have more important things to do." Win siad finally. It was interesting for everyone, espesially Rui, to find these new species. However, Win could feel some sort of disturbance in the air, and this was made evident as another full grown tree exploded out of the ground. He decided to go a little farther into the woods, and instructed his group to wait for further instructions. He wandered ahead, and noted that the energies were getting stronger. He walked closer, he figured that if these readings were aaccurate, he should be standing next to a massive...something by now. He kept walking, and bumped into a young girl with fiery red hair and strange clothing. He looked up, stunned, who was this girl? No one could have survived the apocalypse.
"Hello." Win said, waving a hand in the air, the girl copied his movement perfectly, with a puzzled expression on her face. Win was certain that these energies were somewhere in this area, and he took another look at the girl. She took a step forward, and suddenly the ground seemed to explode as a massive rock jutted up from underneath her, lifting her into the air. WIn lloked up in amazement at this girl who stood there like a statue on a pedestal, and decided that she could be hostile. He released the blade from his weapon, and he jumped up and took a massive swing...
Crack. The blade snapped in two when it contacted with the girl's stomach, as though she were made of stainless steel. Win looked up in surprise, she seemed angry. Suddenly a massive wave of fire erupted from around her, and it threw Win all the way back into the clearing where his group was, they all stared at him in amazement.
"What was that?!" Rui asked him.
"I dunno, but I think you better check for energy signals. Whatever it was, it was powerful."
"What was it? Did you see it?" Kitty asked.
"It was a...girl."
"A girl?" Enix asked, stunned.
"It looked like one, it was extremely powerful."
"I'm goona go back to the ship to check these energy readings, you guys stay here and holler if you see anything else." Rui ordered. Win looked back into the woods, who was that girl?..

[T man]

"Well see you later" enix said to the fang bat as it left back into the forest. Enix walked back into the ship to for win. "Hey win I don't know if you ever talked about this but did you ever ask him what happens to the dragon souls after we let them go" enix said as he saw win working at a computer. "I never talked to him about it, why" win asked looking back. "I have A theory about what you saw out there. I belive that when the dragon souls had finished their job of remakeing the earth they created new beings to hold there power after they left. The thing you saw out there might be one and sees us as a thret" enix said looking out A window. "That is a possibility. I'll take that into thought" win said to enix as he left.

[Sakura]

Ki kept on her toes and held her blade in a standard position with a semi-relaxed grip.Ki felt the wind pattern change through her magic abilities and moved to the side just in time.The "girl" had leapt at her trying to attack her.

Ki:Guys watch out!!

The others suddenly began to look around.She was quick.Quicker than the eye can see.Ki did a flip in time to avoid the "girl" slicing down with a blade of some sort.

Ki:Help!!

Ki continued to dodge.For some reason the "girl" was after her.Ki connected the blades and pushed down.It was hard because whatever it was it was strong.Ki pulled away and made a slash at it.She flipped back and started to attack at Ki.It continued like that for some time before Ki tried to punch it.She made contact and felt like her hand was broken.The "girl" was made of something tough.Ki looked at her hand and saw it was red from the punch.Ki flipped away and thumped on the ground from not being able to flip with an injured hand.The "girl" came closer to Ki attempting to finish her when....

Win jumped out of nowhere with a newly repaired Omni X-1, he struck downwards, hoping only to block the blade, not hurt anyone. He did so sucessfully. Ki looked up at him, as did this girl. SHe looked at him for a full minute, then suddenly the ground began to rumble, and a giant tree exploded out from under Win and Ki, carrying them all the way up to the ship! Rui, on deck, stared at them in amazement, then helped them on board and tended to them. After Ki was sent to medical to get her hand checked, Rui privately briefed Win.
"It seems that Enix is right, whoever, or whatever that girl is, she definetely is a massive form of energy created by Dragon Souls."
"That would seem accurate."
"However, I don't think she was sent here to take control. If you noticed, she has very little realization of her full potential. She is more of...an accident."
"Hmm..."
"Also, she is not evil, she is hyper-sensitive to human emotion, and only reacted to you because you were afraid, and to Ki because she was angry."
"Yeah, just, why does she look like...that?"
"You think she's hot?"
"...In a way."
"Well, possibly because of the Dragon soul's long time connection with humans, they could have recreated that from memory."
"Huh..." Suddenly a message beeped on Rui's computer. He stared at it in shock, then looked at everyone else.
"Get everyone on board! Something is coming!!!" He yelled. The recon team immediately got on board, and the ship tried to escape from...something. Suddenly aa massive explosion rocked the woods around them, and a muhroom cloud enveloped the area they were just standing in. Win and Rui looked up in shock.
"Is that...her?"
"It probably is..." Rui responded gravely...

[Kitty]

Kitty overheard Win and Rui talking about a girl causing the major dust cloud. As the dust and debris began to come back to the ground, Lox hid behind Kitty and was whimpering like a dog.

Kitty: Calm down Lox. We're safe in the ship. I hope...

Ki: What are we gonna do? We have no idea what is on this planet. We can't protect ourselves too easily, and not all of these new species are friendly like him.

Ki pointed at Lox while she said this. Lox became even more frightened and began trembling. As he trembled, the whole ship trembled. Kitty quickly picked him up and calmed him again. The shaking stopped.

Rui: Was that...?

Win: We have to get rid of him.

Kitty: Fine.

Ki: What? I thought you liked him as a pet. Why would you give him up so easily?

Kitty: One must learn that being attached to something is dangerous. I like him, yes. But not enough to put the last of human kind in danger.

She walked out quickly, trying to ignore the eyes upon her. She rarely cared about the others, making them a little surprised.

Kitty: Sorry Lox. I think you have to go...

Lox: Meeow?

Kitty: We can't let you hurt anyone.

Lox: Ruff! Ruff-ruff!

Kitty: I hope I see you again.

Kitty began to walk away, but Lox followed. She tried to get rid of him, but he wouldn't leave. She finally had to tell him that he could stay outside, but not go inside the ship. Lox meowed and woofed in happiness. Inside...

[T man]

Enix was looking out one of the windows back at the explosion. "What are you thinking about" ki asked. "I was just thinking about the "girl" back there. I know I felt some thing like a dragon soul but I also felt some thing else" enix said as he looked at ki. "So what do you think happened to her" ki asked looking out of the window. "I realy don't know maybe I shouldn't of come on this trip" enix said looking down at the floor. "Why do you say that" ki asked looking back at him. "Well, of all the people here I was the only one who had a dragon soul. Maybe that's why the explosion happened or it could be like win said about so many emotions being around. I just hope that doesn't happen again" enix said as he leaved the room.

[Wondershot]

"Wether or not my theories are true," Win said, walking up to Enix and Ki.
"This one is a threat, but we have no idea how to deal with it."
"Do you have any idea as to why it exists?" Ki asked.
"...Maybe..."
"Win, what really happened after the Dragon souls were released?" Enix asked.
"...Cross told me about it..." win sat down, he had a tired look on his face.
"All that fighting...all those lives...Cross knew that the Dragon souls resented humans. They probably don't want us on this planet anymore..."
"So you think they want to kill us?"
"...That's not it either."
"Then what...?" Suddenly an alarm rang through the ship, and Rui called to the group.
"GUYS! Come quick! Something is happening!"...

...Deep in the woods, the ground was pulsing and moving, like a beating heart, suddenly a massive arm exploded out from the ground, it was giant and demonic, it reached over and pulled itself out of the ground, it was a fiendish looking man a cape to cover his demon arm...

Rui looked at the screen in confusion.
"What is that?" Win stared at this person in open mouthed horror, as did Enix.
"Guys? Who is that?" Kitty asked, nervous.
"...Oni Yorimasa..." Win said slowly...

[T man]

"Ah great, I was hopeing that guy would actually stay down for once. Even with the world being restarted he still lives" enix said as he left the room. "Hey milo you do you rember oni yorimasa" enix asked once he found milo. "Ya why do you ask" milo said as he got up. "Well he lived through the rebirth of the earth and now he's a gaint" enix said as he left the rom with milo following. Milo looked out a window and his jaw droped open.
"Guys who is oni yorimasa" ki asked. "Long story short, there were some people who wanted to use the dragon souls for evil purposes and oni was at the top of the list of them" enix said looking at ki. "Let's hope he doesn't have his sword and if he does let us hope it's not as big as he is" milo said.

[Wondershot]

OOC: Oni is not a giant now, he's his normal size, about 6'1"

Win stared at the screen in shock, how could this guy be alive? Oni looked back at him, then suddenly he sprouted large black wings, and began to fly.
"Guys! He's coming here!" Rui yelled nervously, Win and company jumped out onto the deck, weapons drawn, Oni had landed on a railing, and was looking around with interest.
"What are you doing here?" Win demanded, Oni shook his head.
"I am only an observer, it would appear that Cross was prepared for this...so like him." Oni chuckled.
"Why are you here? Do you want to fight us again?" Enix asked.
"My dear boy, I no longer have an interest in fighting, please do not misjudge me."
"What are you talking about?" Kitty demanded. Oni shook his head.
"Is it so difficult to believe that I no longer wish to fight?" Oni looked wounded.
"Now that the world is gone, I have no more reason to exist, and yet here I am."
"Well, what do you want?" Win asked dubiously
"Now, I want to come with you."
"What?!" Enix cried out, stunned.
"I would need some help in this strange new world, at it seems you would too." No one said anything.
"Give us one reason why you wouldn't kill us." Win finally spoke.
"I would gain nothing now that the Dragon Souls are gone."
"...Fine, welcome aboard." Rui spoke up from behind the group. Win stared at him, but no one seemed to object.
"Thank you, you won't regret it."

[I]Milo couldn't stand it any longer. He turned around and started to walk back into the ship.[/I]
"Milo, where are you going?" [I]Win asked.[/I]
"I'm staying as far away from that snake as possible. Someone like him should not be in this group. Besides, what help could we possibly be to him?"
"But you don't have a Dragon Soul any longer, so he won't try to attack you." [I]Rui said.[/I]
"I can't be sure of that until he proves himself trustworthy. Until then, I will still suspect him of having some other hidden motive."
"A true knight would trust others!"
[I]Milo froze. Win's words had struck a nerve.[/I]
"What you speak is truth. But I am not a knight yet, and I cannot trust without reason to do so. I am not going to be the one responsible for your deaths."
[/COLOR]

[T man]

"He has a good point ya know. He isn't a knight yet and I don't trust oni one bit. I'm even more suspicious that he some how lived through the rebirth of the planet" enix said as he left puting the sword back into the sheath. Enix walked up to milo. "What are we going to do about him" milo asked. "I'll keep a eye on him today and you can do it tomarrow and we'll switch back and forth" enix said and milo nodded. Enix sat down on a chair and started playing his flute to calm his nerves.

[Wondershot]

Oni looked over at Sharlette, who simply turned away, disgusted. He cast a look towards Win.
"So, do you not trust me?"
"I have no reason not to, and yet no reason to either."
"Hmph, Cross did train you well. An emotionless machine, just like him."
"You say that as if it's a bad thing. Besides, look who's talking." Oni chuckled.
"Touche."
"..." Oni looked across the deck as Win headed downwards. Well, he had earned himself a reputation, after all. Besides...he wasn't done quite yet. If he could live until these people populated the planet sucessfully, he could send [i]him[/i] a message...

Win looked around belowdecks, everyone seemed down about Oni still being here. Win looked over at Sharlette.
"You okay?" She looked up at him, he sat down.
"Why are we letting that creep come with us?"
"What would he gain from trying to kill us? Even he knows that he can't live in a wrold like this. I'm not sure he's turned over a new leaf quite yet, but if he is helpless, then we probably have nothing to fear. Besides," Omni X-1 clicked, and the massive blade popped out of it.
"If he tries anything, I'll personally remove that arm of his." Sharlette still seemed down.
"But where do we go from here? This world isn't safe yet, is it?"
"No, but maybe we can find some way of getting these wild elements under control. Where there's a will, there's a way, right?" Sharlette laughed.
"Uh, I didn't think it was that funny."
"No, no, I'm thinking of something Tami told me. Cross always seemed to be in his own world, and she figured that if it wasn't for the fact that they had Dragon Souls, he would have wanted nothing to do with us."
"So?"
"So, maybe you aren't so bad after all if Cross trained you." Shhe laughed again, Win smiled...

Oni was still outside getting a good look at the new world, when he noticed he was being watched. He spun around and saw Enix watching him very carefully.
"Can I help you?"

[T man]

Enix just shook his head and said "it's nothing, nothing at all" as he walked over onto the top of the ship. even thought it was curved he didn't fall of. "What if there are more of those beings out there. Those who have the power of a dragon soul" enix said to himself. He looked around and figured he should try to memorize the land as much as the land scape as possible.
He sat down and started playing his flute. A minute or two later the fang bat from before caught up with the ship and landed next to him. "It's fast. Maybe it's possible to ride it" enix thought as he continued to play his flute.

[Kitty]

Kitty was trying to make Lox go back into the forest, but he wouldn't leave her side any longer. Ki tried to help, but she failed, too.

Kitty: Please Lox. You've got to leave. We can't have you endangering the last of the humans. I'm sorry, but you've gotta go!

Lox: Meow... Ruff!

Ki: We can't understand you! Please leave, we can't keep you anymore!

Lox just watched them try to get rid of him, but he wouldn't leave.

Win: Any luck?

Kitty: No. What about this Oni guy. Why are you lettin' him join?

Win: *sighs* Why is that the only question that you people are asking?

Kitty: 'Cause we don't trust him and yet you do. If you can't explain it in an agreable way, we won't trust him no matter how much you do.

Ki: Your reasoning is so political. Why?

Kitty: Dunno. Didn't ever look at it that way.

Win was quiet. Kitty looked at him for a minute, then went back to trying to persuade Lox to leave.

[Wondershot]

"You know what? Fine. You can keep that...thing." Win said, pointing to Lox. Lox began to growl at him.
"Are you sure?" Kitty asked.
"Yeah, I trust him too." He glared at Ki for a moment, then turned on his heel and left.

Oni was watching the world go by from his vantage point on top of a railing on the main deck. He was reminiscing about one of his old friends. He had always liked standing on railings too... suddenly he felt something... a strange presence. He looked up and then turned around, heading to the back of the ship. Enix was wathcing him carefully. Suddenly there was a massive explosion at the back, and Enix jumped to his feet and looked over the back with Oni. There was a massive ball of fire just behind the ship. And there seemed to be something swirling around inside it. Oni looked at Enix.
"Don't you recognize it?" Enix just stared at him.
"Look closer." Enix leaned over the side and looked, the form inside the fireball appeared to be a dragon of some sort.
"Tahu?" Enix said, stunned. Suddenly the dragon broke free from the fireball and swirled into the air, then it took a steep nose-dive and whizzed past the ship. Oni tackled Enix to the ground to avoid it, when they got up, Oni's skin had been burned. They looked over the edge as Tahu made a pass underneath, and Oni had to pull Enix away from the edge to keep him from getting burned.
"We have to fight it!" Enix said. Oni stared at him with a look of amusement.
"How? How do you plan on defeating that?" Oni asked of him, Enix looked at it. How were they going to beat it?...

[T man]

"I don't know but i'm going to try" enix said as he pulled down his goggles and with drew his sword. "Well now would be a better time then any to see if I can ride the fang bat" enix said before he started playing his flute. The fang bat came buy and enix got on it's back. The dragon fired a fire ball at the enix and the fang bat. "O.k let's try this" enix thought as he leaned to his right.
The fang bat flew to the left and avoided the attack. "Tahu even though I like ya, I still got to do the job we started together" enix said as the dragon shot another fire ball. Enix hit it back with his sword and it hit the dragon. "I thought you didn't have the power of your dragon soul" oni said. "I don't but i'm able to redirect fire and defend against it" enix said as he hit another another fire ball back.

[Sakura]

Ki looked around in confusion.Win glared at her and then she looked down at Lox the half dog half cat.Then a dragon appeared and Enix called Fang bat and got on it's back to fight the dragon.

Ki quickly drew her sword.Her hand was still aching a bit but she had to help.She slid her hands into position on the blade and got ready incase Enix got into trouble.Enix had a thing of getting himself into trouble.Enix was deflecting the fireballs back at the dragon but then the dragon fired three.Enix got one but the other two were headed at Kitty and herself.Kitty grabbed Lox and took off to the sky.Ki quickly sheathed the blade and did some backflips away from the fireball and they crashed into the spots where Kitty and Ki were just standing seconds ago.Ki ran around and got closer to the dragon.She dodged the stray fireballs that Enix couldn't bat away and arrived directly beneath it and began the under attack with magic and sword skills.

[Wondershot]

Win jumped to the side to dodge a stray shot, then began to fire .45 bullets at Tahu, which had little to no effect.
"This is useless! We gotta run!" Win said as he began to climb back up. He yelled to Kitty to come down and get back on board as he helped Ki up...

Oni batted a fireball back at Tahu and looked to the side as Milo was firing shots from his Uzi. suddenly a massive fireball came hurtling towards him, and Oni jumped in the way and blasted the fireball backwards. He grinned at Milo and began to concentrate. In a flash of blood, a new, larger sword exploded out of the palm of his demon arm. It was about 5 feet long and 1 and a half feet wide. He looked at a fireball headed right towards them, so he whacked it back and it hit Tahu right in the face. Rui suddenly jumped out from belowdecks.
"Everyone! This is useless! We have to fight this thing later, once we can devise a plan! Everyone back on board now!" Enix, Win, Kitty and Sakura did so, but Milo kept staring at Oni, who had saved his life.
"You heard the captain." Oni said simply as he walked casually towards the door. Moments later the ship blasted into high drive and flew away. Tahu simply looked and then flew away itself...

Oni looked at the group belowdecks, they seemed demoralized, and also annoyed to be in the same room as him. Milo walked up to him.
"Yes?" Oni asked expectantly.

[Geist]

[I]Milo unsheated his sword, kneeled and held it up to Oni.[/I]
"I am sorry for ever doubting you. I owe you this sword, as well as my life."
[I]Oni picked up the sword and stared at it. He then returned it to Milo's hands.[/I]
"Keep it. I have my own sword already. We are both warriors. I am sure you would have done the same."
"No, I wouldn't because I didn't trust you before, but I do now. From this day, you can count on Milo the squire as a friend and help in need."
[I]Invisible to everyone but Milo, a rune jumped from his sword and sunk into his forehead. He got up from the floor as Win and the others started to discuss a plan of action.[/I]

"We need some kind of a plan, since we no longer have our elemental powers, it becomes a lot harder to deal with that thing." Win said, the others nodded.
"How are we gonna do that, though?" Enix asked, Rui got up.
"I think that we can somehow develop a weapon to deal with that thing, however, if my theories are correct, we..." He stopped and thought about it for a moment.
"What is it?" Kitty asked.
"We...we need someone to...absorb the dragons."
"Absorb?! How are we gonna do that?" Ki asked.
"Simple matter, really. All we have to do is trap the dragon for even a moment, that could be done with simple procedures of compression...then we need someone to...hold the dragon inside them." Rui looked down at the ground.
"The only problem is...I don't know if the host'll survive." Everyone looked down at the ground, when Oni walked forward.
"I volunteer." Everyone stared at him. He stepped into the circle.
"I have nothing left to do here, so why not me?"
"I think I should do it." Win said, standig up.
"You could protect the group a lot better than me, I'll do it." Win glared at Oni, who glared right back.
"Well, we don't have to worry about that now, I still haven't developed a plan to do this yet." Rui said, standing up.
"I'm gonna be checking the signals in the energy room, holler if you need me." He left, as did everyone else, but Oni and Win continued to stare at each other.
"Why do you start to disrust me now?" Oni asked with his trademark mocking grin.
"I know what you have planned, you cling to power, if you do survive that energy, you will get the Dragon souls back, I can't allow that."
"Oh, so I get the Dragon souls...then what? I have nothing here, why would I want power now?" Oni smiled and walked away, leaving Win standing there, smouldering hatred into Oni's retreating back...

[T man]

"Can't trust that rat" enix thought as he saw oni walk past him. Enix left the hall and walked to the room where win was. "So what are we going to do about him" enix asked when he cane into the room. "I realy don't know" win asid looking down the hallway. "If it's tahu who's going to be joining with some one it'll be me" enix said with a seriouse look on his face. "Why do you think you should do it" win asked looking at him. "Well of all the people here only me, milo and oni have had dragon souls. I Think it would be easyer if a dragon joined with a dragon soul caryer. Any way's you can't trust oni and milo said that he would help him if needed" enix said. "I'll think about your proposal" win said.

[Wondershot]

Rui stepped out from the sonar room.
"Are you sure about that, Enix? I did the research, no matter who you are, even if that Dragon Soul was yours, the tests show that at best, chances of survival are just under 30%." Rui said with a frown, Enix stared at him.
"What?"
"Those forces at full power are more than any human body can handle, even if they were once yours, they changed now." Oni walked in.
"Hmph, now you see why I am the best candidate for this job?" Rui stared at him, Oni looked at him with mock pity.
"You said it yourself, any [i]human[/i] wouldn't be able to take it, but I am not human." He looked at Enix mockingly, who just shot him a look that could melt steel. Oni looked at him pityingly.
"I'm only trying to stop you from throwing your life away." Oni said as Enix turned to leave. He froze, then kept walking, blood boiling. Oni turned and looked at Rui, who began discussing a strategy with the rest of the group...

Enix walked out to where Win was, he was crouched on top of a railing, Enix went over and sat on a crate. He sighed deeply, Win stared at him.
"Oni?" Enix nodded, then glared back belowdecks.
"He's a snake, I can't believe he says he's trying to help us." Win looked ahead.
"He said it himself, though. If he tries anything, what's he gonna do afterwards?" Win looked at Enix.
"Cross taught me a lot about human tendencies, especially Oni's. He'll never do anything to interfere or harm, until his safe future is assured." Win looked down.
"But..."
"What?" Enix said, looking over.
"Cross said that...Oni might have another plan..." Suddenly a massive water jet erupted from underneath the ship, causing it to tilt to the side. Win lost his balance and fell over, into the jungles beneath. Enix, in a panic, rushed over to tell the others what happened...
