Lauren looked back. Her house looked very small from the top of the hill. She sighed as she thought of the fact she may never see her family again. Her eyes watered as she looked back down. Her bike was old and rusty, but it got her from point A to point B. She lifted her left leg and set her foot on the peddle. She pushed off from the top of the hill with her right, then quickly set it on the other peddle, which was spinning around and round like mad.

Her hair flew back in the wind as she sped down the hill. Prof. Redwood's lab was getting nearer and bigger and she came closer. Then, instead of her hair flying back, her old bike ran into a rock and sent Lauren flying instead. Luckily, she landed on the lawn of Prof. Redwood's perfectly kept garden filled with wild, scared Pokemon. She lay on her back, dazed from the landing until,

"Are you ok?"[/COLOR][/SIZE]

[T man]

Lauren looked up and saw a guy with a xatu. "Here let me help you up. I'm max" max said as he helped lauren up. The xatu landed and started comunicating to him in flag.
"Yes xatu I see it. He's asking about the mark on your cheek" max said. "I'll talk about it later. Aren't you max zaybock the gym leader for the sky badge" lauren asked shaking hands with max. "Yes I am. I came here to talk to prof. redwood about the newest pokemon breading technics" max said. "Come on we can both talk to the professor" lauren said as they entered the building.

Veedra ran fast through the woods. Many beedril chaced after her and her jolteon.

V: Jolteon I don't think we can fight them all.

Jolteon didn't say any thing but kept tring to protect her owner from the ten bedrill on thier tail.

V: Hey look jolteon a house! ...or something.

Vedra rushed up and opened the door of Professor Redwoods lab. She allowed Jolteon in but slammed the door in time to stop the beedril. She heaved a sigh of relief and turned to the people inside who were staring at her. She bowed her head.

V: I apolagize for my actions. My jolteon and I were attacked by a swarm Of beedrill.

[Wondershot]

Risuke looked around, this place bored him immensely, it was all clear fields and maybe a few hills, nothing special to see here. He was just out taking his Espeon and Umbreon for a walk, he found it a little strange to believe that they could get along so well despite being on opposite ends of any spectrum imaginable. Therefore, he was going to see the local expert, Prof. Redwood, on what he had to say about that. Risuke was never really the scientific type anyway. He reached up and brushed his hair, hard as a rock. Risuke thought that he ought to try washing his hair for a change, rather than just gel it whenever it started to fall. He looked over at the house, and saw two other trainers below. He recognized one of them, Max Zaybock, whom he had always wanted to meet, and maybe battle. He wandered down the hill, and looked around...

Lauren grinned and walked with Max into Prof. Redwood's lab. Redwood looked up instantly, and he sighed with relif.

"Finally, you made it, Lauren!" He looked at Max, "And if it isn't Max Zaybock!"

Max nodded, then said "Professor, I need to talk, but I am sure that Lauren here has more important buisness her than me." He smiled at Lauren and her and Xatu sat down. Lauren looked at Professor Redwood shyly, and walked towards him. She had met him only once before, and that was the night he told her about her destiny.

"Lauren. You're bleeding!"

Redwood pointed at her arm, with had a gash and was bleeding, but not to badly.

"Oh, Professor, it's alright, really!"

Prof. Redwood smiled, and snapped his fingers. A Chansey walked in, put it's hands over her arm and started to glow. In seconds, Lauren's injury healed, the Chansey smiled, and with a small "Chan!" Walked out.

"Professor," Lauren said, watching distractedly as the Chansey walked away, "Why wasn't your Chansey captured by... Mewthre?"

Redwood's face hardened with great dislike,

"Because, like Max there" He said, pointing to Max, "Our Pokemon have been protected for unknown reasons," He got a little sweat mark on his face, very 'Anime-ish' like, "I'm... still working on it, hehehe"

Lauren sighed, then said excitedly,

"When do I get my Pokemon!"

"When the others arrive, be patient, Lauren!"[/COLOR][/SIZE]

Flames surrounded the gym as a trainer walked in.
[b]Trainer[/b] I'd like to challenge the Gym Leader, Ivan!
The gaurds let the boy in.
He walked down the lightnened path, when he finnaly came to a room with flames all around it.
[b]Trainer[/b] My name is Brian! Im here to challenge the Gym Leader!
Someone walked up. It wasn't the gym leader Ivan though.
[b]??[/b] Sorry, Ivan is not in right now... he has gone to Professer Redwoods lab.
[b]Trainer[/b] When'll he be back...?
[b]??[/b] That, i do not know. But when he does, ill be sure to tell you.

A quiet familliar face walked down the path to proffesor Redwoods lab. It was the Gym leader Ivan! Ivan walked in and saw Redwood.
[b]Ivan[/b] Hey there Redwood! How've you been?
[b]Redwwod[/b] Great, and you?
[b]Ivan[/b] Im doing fine also. I just came by, to see the new youngseters. I just decided to meet them before we battle.
He looked to his left and saw a girl.
[b]Ivan[/b] Hi, and whats your name?

"I am Lauren! What's you name?"

Ivan chuckled,

"Why, you're pretty bubbly, eh? My name is Ivan, i'm a gymleader."

Lauren grinned. Ivan stared at her mark with great intrest,

"Professor, is she one of the-"

"Yes. She is the one with the Water Tear"

Redwood inturupted,

"And pround of it!"

Lauren added.

"You like Water Pokemon, hmm?" Ivan asked, Lauren nodded,
"That means you'll be getting a Water Pokemon... hmmm. I'll have to look out for you when you come around," He winked.[/COLOR][/SIZE]

The other Scientists Went back to their work as one stepped up to Veedra. The scientest looked at her.

Scientist: Are you here to see Prof. Redwood?

Veedra nodded.

V:Yes sir I am.

Walk this way then.

Veedra fallowed the Man to the area i which the others were talking with Prof. Redwood.

Scientist: Excuse me professor but some one is here to see you.

Redwood: V! so nice to see you again.

V: pleasure is mine sir.

Redwood: V I would like you to meet Lauren and Ivan((((is any one else here???)))

Veedra nodded at both of them.

V: nice to meet you. My name is Veedra, But you may call me V.

Risuke barged into the lab wiht a big smile on his face. He saw a whole bunch of other trainers in the room, even some gym leaders!
"Hey! A party! What's the occasion?!" He yelled haughtily as he took a seat, putting his feet up on a lab table, knocking over a pile of notes. Some other scientists glared at him.
"Oops, sorry." He said, making no move to pick them up.
"Uh, Hello Risuke...It's good to see you again." The professor said, almost nervously, in reality he was thinking "What in the world is this menace doing here?!" He smiled nervously, Risuke cast him a huge grin in return.
"So, what's all this about? A get together for anime fans?!" He got dead silence.
"Oh well, I guess I'm gonna have to stay and find out!!" He shouted.

[T man]

"So lauren why are you here" max said. "Well i'm here to get A pokemon from the professor" lauren said. "Yes she needs to get A pokemon to help fulfill A legend" prof. redwood said. The professor told max, ivan and risuke of the legend and of what's been happening.
"I wondered if that's why my xatu was acting strange"Max said looking at his xatu. "It may have been acting strange because it's A psychic type pokemon like mewthre or because of the belife that xatu's are allways looking into the future and into past at the same time" prof. redwood said as he took A seat. "Well lauren when you get your pokemon let's have A battle to prepare you. Depending on how you act with your pokemon will tell me if you're will be worthey enough to have A sky badge because I belive how you act with A pokemon is more important than battleling" max said smilling.

"Ok! That sounds great... but, wont my Pokemon be lv5? Aren't your Pokemon alot...stronger?" Lauren said, excited at first, than a little disbelieving.

Max grinned, "We'll see what we can do."

Professor Redwood glanced at his pocket watch, "Well, the others are late, would you like your Pokemon now, Laur-"

"YES! YES! YES!" She shouted, jumping over to the Prof. Everyone in the room laughed and sniggered. Professor Redwood blinked before walking over to a table. There was a large red button on the top, and he pressed down on it. Steam escaped itself from the table as a large, glass dome slowly rised out of it. Down the middle was a long line, where the dome split in half, the sides going back into the table. Everyone watched in awe as 5 pokeballs (Veedra already has her Pokemon) slowly became seeable through the steam. Each had a symbol on it for the kind of Pokemon was inside.

Redwood looked cheerfully at the Pokeballs, than picked up the ball with the correct symbol on it, a Water Tear.

"Think fast!"

He tossed the ball underhand to Lauren, who caught it with ease,

"Oh, I still got it!" Redwood exclaimed as everyone stared at him with blank expressions. Lauren stared gleefully at the Pokeball, than turned to Max,

"Uhh, how do I open it?"

Risuke sniggered, than quickly apoligized without enthusiasm. Max told Lauren to just through it on the ground or through the air, and it'll work by itself. Lauren blushed, nodded, than threw the air. In the middle of its flight, it opened, a huge stream of light flowing out. The ball stopped, and then turned at flew back into Lauren's open hand.

The beam of light slowly formed into a shape. It was blue, had a long, mermaid like tail and gorgeous black eyes. It had four legs, fin-like ruffled around its neck, and long ears. The Pokemon opened it's mouth, and in a high, but soothing voice, let out a small,

"Vaporeon..."

Lauren screamed in delight and grabbed her Pokemon.

"It's so... cool! And... watery!"

Professor Redwood smiled, "I knew you'd like it! I just knew it."

Vaporeon licked it's owners face, and grinned. Lauren smiled, and turned to Max,

"You ready?"

Vaporeon, as if knowing just what Lauren was talking about, jumped out infront of her, getting into a fighting position.[/COLOR][/SIZE]

Akrean was late. He had overslept due to family problems and missed his alarm. He awoke and fell out of bed. He quickly got dressed and got on his bike peddling as fast as possible. He made it in about ten minutes and started to sprint up the steps when his stomach caught up with him. He hadn't gotten anything to eat before leaving and slowed his pace to a walk. He made it up the steps and entered the lab out of breath. He saw alot of Trainer and Gym Leaders. He began to wonder if he was in the right place when he saw Professer Redwood with a girl who had a Vaporeon. Professer Redwood smiled when he saw Akrean.
"Hello Akrean how are you?" He asked smiling
"Great. Just Great. Can I get my pokemon? Please." Akrean said hoping not too many people noticed him.
"Sure Here." He said handing Akrean a pokeball. Akrean pressed the button and out popped a Bellsprout.
"Bellsprout" it said looking at Akrean.
"Thanks Professer" Akrean siad recalling Bellsprout.
"Akrean, could you please stay until everyone shows up?" Redwood asked looking concered,
"Sure" he said retreting to a corner
"That poor boy" Redwood said shaking his head.

[T man]

"Let's see what ya got. Don't worry about geting A badge. You can still get one from me if you lose. I'll use one of my weaker pokemon" max said as he and lauren went out side. "Swellow it's time to battle" max said as he tossed A blue pokeball in the air, caught it then threw it. Max's swellow appeared in the air. "Vaporeon are you ready" lauren asked her pokemon and it nodded. "Since this is your first battle i'll take it easy on you. I hope you've read up on water and normale attacks" max said. "Swellow use agillity" max said as his swellow started to move faster untill it looked like there was A group of them."Vaporeon use tackle" lauren called out. The vaporeon tackled one of the swellows but it just disapered. "You were close to hitting the right one lauren. Swellow use quick attack" max said as the other swellows dissapered except one.
The swellow flew towards the sun then came down fast. "O.k got to think fast. What is a attack to reduce accuracey" lauren thought. "Vaporeon use sand attack" lauren said to her vaporeon. The vaporeon started kicking sand ar swellow and swellow had to move quickley to avoid hiting the ground. "Swellow use werlwind" max called out. Swellow started flapeing it's wings and blew vaporeon down. "I call of the battle" lauren said walking to he vaporeon. "Swellow return" max said holding up his pokeball and the swellow went back inside. "Knowing when to use the right attacks and when to give up the battle is part of being A good trainer so I award you these" max said as he walked to lauren. He gave her A badge that looked like A feather and five drinks. She took the badge and the drinks. "What are the drinks for" laura asked max. I made them my self. Give one to veporeon and it'll be fine. The drinks I make are for healing. I'll join you on your pokemon journey to show you how to make them, what to do if there aren't any pokemon centers nearby and give you pointers on battleing" max sid smilling.

Lauren looked at the badge, than handed it back to Max.

"I am sorry, Max, I just can't accept it." She looked down at Vaporeon, "It just isn't right, Max. We lost, and we can accept it. A rematch is in order once we are leveled up a bit, ok?"

Max thought for a second, "If that's what you want..."

"It is."

Max nodded, and sat back down. Professor looked at his watch nervously,

"Where are the others..." He muttered angrily...[/COLOR][/SIZE]

[Wondershot]

"Hey, yo, yo, YO! Now it's my turn!" Risuke yelled, jumping to his feet and hopping around.
"Who are you calling a yo-yo?!" Lauren retorted, mad.
"No one, I just said that I want to try you out."
"Try me at what?" Risuke nearly fell over, why doesn't anyone understand me?! He thought bitterly.
"I mean...let's battle!" He said, jumping around again.
"Hey," Said a voice behind him. Risuke looked around, eventually setting his eyes on another trainer.
"I'll take you on."
"Another gym leader, huh? What's your name, yo."
"I am not a yo-yo!!" Risuke nearly fell over again.
"Nonononono, I mean...what is your name."
"Oh, Ivan."
"Risuke Kaijin, nice to meet ya, nicer to beat ya!" He said as he pounded his fists together, ready for war.

OOC: It would appear that you are confused, Shippo, Risuke is another gym leader! He does not use Bellsprout. I'll do the battle instead.

Risuke was beside himself, he always gets jumpy before a match, he and Ivan wandered outside, he couldn't wait.
"Okay..." Risuke said readily, he held out a hand and motioned with two fingers as if to come forward.
"Bring it!" However Ivan stepped forward, extending his hand. Risuke sared at it in confusion. Then got the idea and shook hands, he was extremely twichy.
"Are you alright?" Ivan asked.
"yeahyeahyeahyeahyeahyeahyeahialwaysgetkindahyperbeforeabigmatchsocomeonwhatareyouwaitingforbringit!" Risuke spluttered at triple speed. Ivan just shrugged and took a few steps back, throwing a poke ball.
"Go, Ponyta!" The enormous Ponyta exploded out of the ball, and cried out.
"Okay! GO UMBREON!" Risuke yelled, dropping his poke ball and kicking it like a soccer ball. The fiendish looking Umbreon came out.
"Well, are you gonna do something?" Risuke asked, starting to get cocky.
"Ponyta, Fire Blast!" He shouted, the fire pokemon calling upon it's strongest attack. However Risuke was perpared.
"Double Team!" He commanded, his Umbreon split into multiple copies, the Fire Blast passing harmlessly through one of the copies.
"Ponyta! Agility!" The pokemon dashed forward, trying to take out all of the copies at once.
"Umbreon, you too!" Risuke commanded. His Umbreon sped off to catch up.
"Fire Tail!" Ivan yelled, his Ponyta whirled around to strike.
"GOTCHA! FAINT ATTACK!" Risuke yelled. Ponyta spun his tail and hit...nothing. Umbreon had vanished, however it appeared a moment later, bashing Ponyta in the side. It fell down on one knee, slightly stunned.
"Now, pass the baton!" Risuke commanded. He threw a ball at Umbreon, it went inside, and out popped his Espeon!
"Rainy Day!" He shouted, suddely rain began to fall from the sky, mildly weakening the Ponyta.
"Hah! You ready for Round 2?!"

[Ryan]

Ryan: AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!! I am late!!!!!!!!!
[i]Ryan quickly jumped out of bed, changed into his clothes, ran into the bathroom and brushed his teeth and combed his hair and ran out of his house, not bothering to say good-bye to his family. It is not like he ever got along with them anyway. Ryan ran to the side of the house and pulled out an old bike, his old bike, and got on. He slowly peddled towards Pro. Redwood's Lab, scared that he might fall because he had not been on a bike in the longest time. Finally thinking that he had the hang of it he decided to peddle faster. He needed to get the lab fast. Soon enough he ran into a rock on the sidewalk and flew off of his bike, flying into a tree. [/i]
Ryan: Man that hurt. But I got to get to the lab!
[i]Ryan got back on his back and returned to riding. Soon enough he ran over a log and flew off again, landing on his arm. [/i]
Ryan: I need to get to the lab!
[i]So he continued on his bike, flying off more, and getting hurt more. He soon arrived at the lab and ran in to find a crowd of people talking. They stopped and stared at him. He was covered in bruises and had grass and weeds in his hair and all over his shirt.[/i]
Ryan: Um...hi.
Pro.Redwood: Oh, hello Ryan! If you don't mind me asking, what happened to you?
Ryan: To make a long story short, I don't know how to ride a bike. Ok, how about my pokemon Professor?
Pro.Redwood: Oh, right! Here you go!
[i]Prof.Redwood tossed him a pokeball with a symbol that looked like the star of David on it. Ryan grabbed it and stared at it. It gleamed in the light. It was perfect. He still didn't know what was inside of it.[/i]
Ryan: Ok. Go Pokeball!!!!!!!!
Pro.Redwood: Oh Ryan I wouldn't do that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
[i]But it was too late. Ryan had thrown the pokeball into the air and a massive Steelix appeared. It was so large it busted a hole through the lab and damaged some very important equipment.[/i]
Ryan: Um...sorry?!
[i]Ryan returned Steelix and sat down, trying his hardest to not make eye contact with the fuming Professor Redwood.[/i]

[Kitty]

Kitty was quiet as usual in the morning. She sat alone during breakfast and quickly left to get to the gym. It was only 5 am, but she wanted to be sure that she didn't miss a challenge.

Kitty: I hope I'm not too late. But no one is ever here this early. I am too impatiant for this job...

Kitty reached the gym quickly and quietly. She opened the door and went upstairs. She found her office like room and sat down. She looked at her calander and then at her clock. She sighed and went downstairs.

Kitty: Go, pokeballs!

Out popped all six pokemon. Bagon ran to her whimpering. He was frightened of the Charizard. Kitty but Bagon down and pet her pokemon. She brushed Umbreon's and Espeon's fur, and shined Charizard's, Dragonair's, and Bagon's scales. Her Sneasle hated being brushed, so it hid amongst the scattered things against the walls in the gym.

Kitty: I ought to turn the lights on, but I like the dark. Bagon! Get away from Umbreon!

Bagon was about to sit on Umbreon, but Kitty picked it up and put it on Espeon. Bagon squeeled with happiness. Umbreon sat and watched, while the others traveled around the gym.

???: You should get some new scenery for the gym. The water and trees don't seem to be to good lookin' and the other stuff is WAY to old.

Kitty: Don't sneak up on people Blade.

Blade: Can't a younger brother watch his older sister tend to her pokemon?

"Kyle, hurry or else you'll be late getting to the Lab!" His mother called up

He knew what the time was. But he wasn't ready to leave yet. He had waited his whole life to get a Pokemon and become a trainer. He was thinking about everything that Morty had ever taught him about being kind to your Pokemon and getting the best out of them, even when they didn't believe in themselves, he had taught him all the strenghs and weaknesses of the Dark and Ghost type. And he was getting an Absol today, his own Absol, one of the most powerfull Dark type Pokemon, while others said they were unlucky Kyle felt that thier ability to predict disaster was an amazing gift.

After a few minutess he climed out of bed and headed downstairs, he already had his clothes on. He had a quick breakfast and said goodbye to his mother and headed out the door. It was a short journey across the town to get to Prof. Redwoods lab, it only took 5 or so minutes.

He came to the door and took a deep breath and opened it. He saw that the other were already her and had their Pokemon. He gave them a mute greeting, just nodding his head slightly before going over to the Professor.

"Ah, Kyle," He said, "Glad you could make it, just wait her a minute and I'll get your Absol". The Prof. went to the back of the Lab and all they could her for a while was the shifting around of a few things as he looked for the Pokeball.

He came out a few minutes later with a black and silver Pokeball and handed it over to Kyle. "There you go, all ready for you to begin training"

"Thank you, Professor" Kyle said quietly and headed back towards the door, but some one called him back just before he reached the door.

Ki woke up with a start.

Ki:NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!

The family was sitting at the table eating breakfast when they heard the scream and then waited and heard a crash.They all turned to look at the clock.

Ki:I'M LATE!!!WHY DIDN'T ANYONE WAKE ME UP?!?!?!

Ki ran around getting her clothes and finally rushed down the stairs and grabbed a piece of toast before running out the door.She ran down the street and into the door of Professor Redwood's laboratory.

Ki:I'm sorry I'm late Professor.

She said hurridly bowing.

PR:It's ok Ki.Here's your pokemon.
Ki:Thankyou Professor.

Ki accepted the pokeball.It had a Flame symbol on it that resembled her mark.She held it out and it opened slightly.Before her stood the small dog pokemon Poochyena.

Ki:It's so cute!!I'll call him Rush.Thanks so much.

Ki returned Rush and clicked it onto her necklace that had a small clip to hold a :ball:.Then she noticed there were other people there.There were 2 girls,2 men and 3 boys.

Ki:Hi...I'm Ki!

[Ryan]

Ryan: Hi Ki! I am Ryan. Want a quick fun battle with our new pokemon?
[i]Ryan walks out of the lab and onto the front lawn. He grabs his pokeball and throws it in the air yelling, "Go Steelix!" Steelix appears out of a silver vapor and gets ready to battle.
Ki runs out of the gym and throws her pokeball screaming, "Go Rush!" A cute lil' Poochyna appears.

Ivan sighed, he then smiled.
[b]Ivan[/b] Today is the day where the youngsters get to test out there new pokemon, in there first batttle,...how about we call this off, and say you're the winner?
[b]Risuke[/b] Uhh,..i guess...
Ivan shook his hand
[b]Ivan[/b] How about we continue this some other time?
Risuke nodded
[b]Risuke[/b] I agree.
They walked on over and saw a Steelix and Poochyena.
[b]Ivan[/b] Ooo, this'll be intresting.

[Kitty]

It was now at least 9 am, and Kitty's pupils were starting to come to the gym. Only a few were sleepy, but even they woke up at the sight of the gym. Few trees still had leaves, and the water was covered in a dark moss. The things against the walls looked like monsters in the darkness, and a figure at the other side. When one student finally turned the lights on, everything became easier to see.

Student: What's happened here Kitty?

Kitty: No need to get upset. I just did some reorganizing. My pokemon are scattered types, correct?

Student: Yes Kitty. Your pokemon types are not the same.

Kitty: Very good. They need a field that is suitable for all. All my pokemon enjoy it here. This will stay for a while.

Blade: So, now that I've helped you fix up your gym, can I be a pupil? Please?

Kitty: Hmm...

After giving Vaporeon the drink Max had given her, Lauren walked outside, Vaporeon bouncing at her heels. Ryan and Ki were about to have a battle. Lauren looked around, black clouds were starting to form around Professor Redwood's lab. She shrugged, and sat down on the grass, stroaking Vaporeon and watching the match.

(I hope you guys don't mind not having the match, i'd like to get started on our adventure. Tell me if you object ^^)

Quite a while later, both Pokemon, Rush and Bellsprout, were on the ground, panting with exhaustion. Lauren walked over to Ryan and Ki, and handed them each drinks that had been given to her from Max. Ki and Ryan thanked her graciously,

"Thanks, uh..."

They both started,

"Oh! Sorry, i'm Lauren..." She said enthusiasticly at first, but then something caught her eyes. A large purple sparkling ball was starting to form infront of the weird clouds.

"What's that?"

She said, pointing, but, nobody seemed to hear her.

Suddenly, as if something pushed it very hard, it flew down at an amazing speed... straight towards them! She grabbed Ki and Ryan by the wrists, then threw them out of the way. The energy hit earth straight infront of her, and she flew back. She did numerous flips before hitting the ground.

"Lauren!"

"The attack's here" max thought as he felt the wind. "Go altaria. Use dragon's breath" max called as he threw A light blue pokeball. Altaria blew fire once it appeared. "Use sand attack" lauren and ki called out at the same time. Rush and vaporeon started kicking sand at the dark form. The form was hit in the face by the sand then by the fire. After the fire stoped the dark form was hit by a light blue ball of energy in the back.
The form fell out of the sky but got back up before it hit the ground and flew into the skys. "What attack was that that hit it" lauren asked. "It was the move future sight which is a move made by psychic type pokemon. It takes a while for the attack to come and hit the opponent" max said as the sky's started to clear up.
