What is your favorite Video game/games and why
Mine are, Legend of legaia, Legaia Two Duel saga, And kingdom hearts.
also, according to a very unreliable source, there is supposed to be a sequal coming out, called Legend of Legaia, Return of the Mist. Does any1 know about this?

Legend of legaia has bad graphics, but the cutscene graphics are increadable!!!, it also has really good gameplay and music.
Legaia 2's graphics are just about as good as you can get with a video game, Also, wonderful gameplay and music
Kingdom hearts, Great theme song!!! (absolutely love it, [memorized it too] ;)), great battles, great graphics, great music, plus the added bonus of the disney characters!!!(you can beat up the bad guys, ride trees with tarzan, run around with aladdin, swim with ariel, and even fly with peter pan!!![always wanted to fly!!])
All three can get very long and extremely involved, they're all GREAT rpgs

I would hope that those of you who post, will actually list why a particular game(s) is your favorite. I will leave this thread open with that principle in mind.

But, if I the posts following mine are just lists and not real discussions, I'll have no choice but to bring on the lockdown.

my favorite games are kingdom hearts. i dont have any ff games yet and one of my friends reccomended this to me. i bought it and let one of my friends borrow it. i havent gotten it back yet, but it is a really fun game. i love the graphics and the story line isnt bad either.

i also like thps1-3 (i dont have 4 yet). the games arent that hard, so when i need a break they are a good source of relaxation.

I will personally break it down a bit more specific for my favs.

First off is gran turismo 3 (soon to be replaced by gt4)
This is the best driving/racing game ever on a next gen platform.

Then from there its a thing of game type.

rpg, dont know any, but Im looking into 2 that are coming soon. "star ocean: till the ends of time" and "ffx-2" looks fun, should be an intresting one.

Then there are the flight sims- ace combat 4 takes this one all the way. By far ace 4 is the best flight game ever. Rouge squadron was the only thing to come close to ace 4.

Action games... I couldn't really say. There are so many great games out there. I would say "gundam:federation vs zeon" is an excellent game for gundam fans or not.

Other great action titles would have to include socom, metal gear solid (ps1) and of course the onimusha titles. Resident evil titles are worthy as well as the armored core titles. (for a mech junkie like me atleast)

Then there are the other games like fighters and puzzle.

Fighters, I couldnt really say, Im looking forward to doa online as well as virtual fighter evolution.

In the end, my fav is always one of the gt series.

Then its off to the other games and a matter of who will take second.

I know I didnt mention tons of great games, but sometimes you just dont have time to type forever. (cough gta cough)

GTA3/VC - Do I really have to explain myself? :P

ZOE2 - Awesome mech action with a solid storyline and the possibility of a franchise (and being made on more advanced technology - PS3).

MGS series - MGS1 was a well-crafted story with fantastic boss battles and an intriguing series of events; MGS2 sure looked nice, but the storyline was a little "much." I understand it, but there are one too many loopholes, twists, and questions for the average gamer.

:D

Final Fantasy.

To stay on topic, my fave games are GTA Vice City, simply because of how it lets you mess about and do whatever you want, and MGS, which I can't explain...It's just such a great game. Even while it's been around for years now, I still like to play it every now and then. Oh, and any of the Tekken games. They're the best fighters I've played so far, with original characters and good moves.

My favorite game is the .hack series.

I think it is one of the best games I have ever played. The plot and the Gameplay is off the charts. Also the character design is great and interesting.

Also the desktop screen when you load your file is very unique. I have never seen a game like it, I think it is one of the coolest ever.

And the fact that the anime character designer of Evangelion making the character desing is just very exciting. If your an anime lover like myself.

So yes the .hack series are my favorite video games.

Wow, this is going to be extremely hard for me to answer, there are so many amazing games out there.

Well in my early days as a gamer ( for lack of a better word) I mainly stuck to platformers/side scrolling/shooting. I was a bit too young for RPGs and what not.

On the NES I particularly loved Double Dragon and Super Mario Brother. Those are the only games I can even remember playing. There were also some great games on the SNES, but they never really, immersed me. That all changed when I got my hands on the demo version of Wolfenstein 3D. I sat at the computer all day, trying to beat it, it was the first game, that no matter how frustated I got, I HAD to beat and keep trying.

To this day Wolfenstein 3D is my favorite PC game. :p

As far as the original Playstation goes, probably Crash Bandicoot. It took me forever to beat, because I was new to the concept of memory cards, and didn't get one untill a year after I got my PSX. Same thing with Tekken 2, I'd spend all day unlocking all the characters and leave it on overnight so I could play with them in the morning. Near the PS2's birth, I got into the Megaman games, I own all of them on the PSX. They were just awesome...took me forever to beath them though.

N64...Mario 64, and Super Smash Bros.....yeah.

PS2 was next, Smackdown 3 is still one of my favorite wrestling games (even though 2 was WAY better). I took a fancy to 3 because I kicked so much *** at it. DMC was so awesome the first time I played it.

Tekken 4 and THPS3/4 were equally amazing, I only got up from the TV for restroom and food for like two days after that Christmas.

Now TWW is what I'm playing, at first I wasn't too impressed, but I'm loving it now.

Overall...I can NOT pick a specific game. Those are my favorites for each system...I guess.

Gran Turismo is fun. I have some extremely halarious memories. One time I was racing my mother's brother (Uncle?), and I turned around and started going the wrong way, I ran into his car straight on, and it jumped backwards like six feet, It was so funny. Then he decided to do it to me, and yeah, we had fun. I like to run off the cliffs in sledstorm... yeah. don't think my parent's will ever buy me a snowmobile...

Well I have ALWAYS liked FF! I have most in the series and are looking for the others! Why I like it......Well I like all RPG's in general. I like them because it does not take 1 day to beat like all the other crappy action games. Not to say that all games that r not RPG's suck but they are sometimes to ez!

Wow, this is a hard one. Let's see between FPS and RPG's I would have to say all RPG's are my favorite they keep me busy for days maybe weeks. But out of all the RPG's I ever played FF7 is my favorite game I played it and beat it more than any other game I ever owned.

my personal favorites are basically all of teh resident evil games, but especially Code: Veronica X, because it's teh only game which i couldn't defeat one of the Tryants the first time around, also teh use of the virbrations acting like a pulse is very scary,

Btu even though CVX is my fav, i like all of them,

Well, I've been saying forever that The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past is my favorite game of all time...and I don't like sounding like a broken record, so I'll do what Shroom did and list my favorite game for each system I've owned ^_^

NES - Super Mario Bros. 3. My favorite platformer of all time. It's just so quirky and original that I love it. Great bosses, awesome levels and my favorite power-ups of all time. If only there was really such a thing as Kuribo's Shoe...

Game Boy/Color/Pocket - The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages. Both Oracle games are very, very good but I prefer Ages because it is more puzzle-oriented. I like fighting in Zelda but the puzzles are what keep drawing me back to Zelda games.

SNES - The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past. My favorite game of all time because it does everything well. Good graphics, great music, cool weapons, amazing boss battles, thrilling dungeons, logical puzzles...I could go on for days. I love this game so much.

PlayStation - Castlevania: Symphony of the Night. Castlevania with RPG elements and Super Metroid structure. How could anyone not love this? Great graphics, haunting music and great boss battles just round out the package.

N64 - The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. I was just awestruck at how great and easily Zelda made the transition to 3D. The game didn't quite live up to the 2D Zeldas but that doesn't mean that this isn't a fantastic game all on its own. The dungeons, in particular, are very cool.

Game Boy Advance - The Legend of Zelda: Link to the Past/Four Swords. Just take a look over my favorite for SNES lol.

GameCube - Super Smash Bros. Melee - Even I'm surprised at how much I've enjoyed this game. I've beaten game after game after game and I still keep coming back to this one. Melee is just that much fun. The best multiplayer game on the GameCube, bar none.
