[I][SIZE=1] Over 1000 years ago, celestial maidens often frequented Earth and enjoyed its splender. But one was not able to return. Her name Ceres. She lost her robes and was forced into a marraige by a human man, a Mikage who had taken her robes. Not only was marriage envolved but she bore his kids although she didn't want to. She lived her life there on Earth but never found her robes, due to that she killed him and she in turn was killed by his family members.
For many generations, every child in the Mikage family was given a test at the age of 16 to decide their fate. Oftern left to the women, these girls were given a mummifed hand to look at which may have unleashed the powers left dormant in them. If this power was reveiled the girls were killed so that the family may survive.
In 2000, twins, a boy and girl, Aki and Aya Mikage, were given this test. Aki suffered weird wounds as Aya had a weird power come out of her body and radiate to her family there watching. With that, her grandfather ordered her dead and her brother family heir. Luckily Aya escaped but only to now have her family chase after her to kill her. [/SIZE][/I]

[COLOR=blue][SIZE=1] "Aki, Aki, no....what's happening to my brother." As Aya looked on in horror as her brother;s body was tortured by an invisible force. " Why are you doing this to him, to me." Aya's body heated as she felt angry with what her family had shown them. As she continued to look on she felt as if a being was within her trying to release itself. [I] What is this that I'm feeling.{/I] She grabbed her body as a surge of power was released into the room around her.
Her family looked on in surprise and wonder as Aya's body seemed to glow and as Aki sustained more injuries. Whispers filled the air. What had seemed to take an iternity seemed over in a matter of minutes. The invisble force stopped torturing Aki and Aya was calm. She looked around at her family who just stared at her and she saw tears fill her mothers eyes. She turned to her brother after a few more minutes of studying everyones face. She saw him covered with blood but still alive.

" Aki," she touched his hand and began to cry.

"Don't touch him." A deep voice called from the end of the room. "You no longer have any right to be near him." Sano, Kai, take him to the room upstairs and get the nurse to come and wrap his wounds."

Aya looked as the two servants took Aki away. They quickly left out of a side door and left Aya there to deal with her family. She looked as everyones face became angry with her. She turned to her grandfather who stared intently at her.

" Why have you taken Aik away from me. He's my brother."

" Not any longer Aya." As soon as he spoke the men of her family rushed her and pinned her to the ground. " Your brother is the only heir to this family now. And you...must...die."

"Noo," Aya yelled as she was held pn the floor by her uncles and even her wn father." Why are you doing this, I have done nothing wrong to you."

No answers were given. She just stayed ther pinned down as her grnandfather left the room.

She continued to struggle hoping to be released from them soon and her yelss continued to fill the room. Her eldest uncle walked over to her as she saw a long blade being withdrew from behind his back. She saw her dad hold on to her as she flailed around on the floor, no ones grip slacked.
" Dad, why are you doing this. Let me go."
As her uncle came closer her yells continued to go unnoticed. As she got even more worried and scared, she felt that power once again awaken within her. Before she could do anyhing the force raditated out of her body and sent all of her family member flying away from her body. she was free, she got up and looked around seeing that she has be set free and ran from the Mikage house. [/COLOR][/SIZE]

[COLOR=firebrick][B]Nariko pulled the hood of her ebony jacket over her head. The rain was coming down harder than ever and the thunder roared overhead. [I]Man, somebody must be having a really bad day nearby...[/I] The eighteen year old bit down hard on the toothpick in her mouth, almost splintering it. She almost couldn't see where she was going through the pouring rain.

She looked around to make sure she was still on track. That's when she spotted the girl sitting on the side of the road, crying. [I]Speaking of having a really bad day.[/I] Nariko changed course and headed to the girl. She must have noticed because suddenly she looked up at Nariko, eyes red from crying. She shakily stood up and called out to the woman, "Miss! Can you please help me? I-I need someplace to hide! Please help me!"

Nariko arched an eyebrow, "Someplace to hide? Whatever from?"

The girl hesitated for a moment, but then replied, "My family! They're out to kill me. Please believe me! I'll explain everything when there's time."

Nariko could tell that this girl wasn't joking around. She came closer and pulled off her own jacket. She draped it around the girl's shoulders, pulled the hood up so it covered her head, and said in a comforting tone, "Come with me. My house is only about five minutes from here. You can explain everything there."

And so she led her to the place she called home. It was a bit small, but it was warm and welcoming. A fire was lit in the fireplace and it smelled of cinnamon. As she hung her coat up, Nariko said, "By the way, my name's Nariko. What's yours?"

"Aya Mikage." the girl replied, giving her hostess a thankful smile, "Thank you for taking me in."

"No problem kid. Now take these clothes and change into them. Then you can tell me your story over a cup-o-hot chocolate. Okay?" she asked, handing the girl a dry t-shirt and shorts.

Aya nodded, took the offered clothes, and answered, "Okay."

Aya quickly changed out of her wet clothe, hoping the the warmth would go away quickly. But still a sharp cold pain still hit her in her heart. She looked at herself in the bathroom mirror seeing the marks and bruises on her arms and neat her throat. The memories of the day popped back into her head as she could see her family blank expressions and the look of her bloodied brother. [I]AKI![/I]
Her thoughts went to him immediatly. She replayed the moment the mummified hand was shown to her. The yells escaping his chest. The screams rising from her own. Then that power. The voice, the feeling of someoe trying to emerge.[I] Who was that?[/I] She wondered.

As she continued to look on in the mirror her thoughts were interrupted by a load knock on the bathroom down.

"Aya?!"

A sigh of relief left Aya's mouth, it was Nariko.

"Are you okay in there Aya, You finding everything alright in there."

"Yeah, everything is fine Nariko....I'm doing just fine," the words were lies. Aya knew that she could never live through this. Through the fact her family wanted her dead and that they would now go to every lenght to find her.

" Well the cocoa is almost ready. When you're finished come on in the living room. And oh yeah I hope your hungry, too. My brother is fixing a great dinner. I'm sure you'll enjoy his cooking."

Nariko walked down the hall and back to the kitchen.

[I]Great,[/I] Aya thought to herself. [I]Now I have two people to hear my story. They'll probaly think I'm nuts![/I]

She turned and grabbed her wet clothes and opend the door. As she walked closer to the kitchen. Various smells were wafting in the air.[I] Sukiyaki,[/I] her stomach churned as the smell played with her senses.

She rounded the corner to the kitchen trying to forget the smell lurging he more quickly.
"Nariko, can you tell me where I can-,"her voice was cut off seeing that Nariko was no longer inthe kitchen.
In front of her stood a young man who turned quickly when he heard he voice. He was about 6' and very trim. Har short black hair pulled back by a white head band, and a blue kitchen apron.

"Oh, Im sorry she smiled, Umm I'm looking for Nariko but maybe you can help me. Maybe you can tell me where the clothes drier is."

He pointed off in th opposite direction of where she was looking. "Right down the hall." Although very cute his words were kinda rough." Nariko is proably there too."

"Umm thanks," she managed to say, wondering what she had done to upset him. He turned quickly back to the stove. As she turned away she remembered that she hadn't introduced herself.

"Um, excuse me." He didn't turn around. " Nevermind."

Seeing that he was completely ignoring her words she went down the hall to the laundry room. [I] Some men...I swear!![/I][/SIZE][/COLOR]

[COLOR=firebrick][B]Nariko lifted the last load of dry clothes out of the drier just as Aya came through the laundry room door. She could tell what had happened by the look on the younger girl's face. She laughed and said, "I see you've met my brother, Kensuke. He may seem like a bit of a jerk, but trust me, he's a real sweetie at heart."

"Really? I couldn't tell." Aya chuckled. Nariko noticed the clothes in her hands. She took them and said, "Here, I'll take care of those."
She put them in the drier with her own and started up the machine. Nariko then led Aya into the living room and handed her a mug of hot cocoa. "So, Aya," she began, "why is your family out to kill you in the first place?"

"Well, I'm not quite sure. That's the problem. I guess the trouble started with the test." Aya replied, taking a sip of her cocoa.

"Test?" Nariko wondered aloud.

"Yea, a test. In the Mikage family, when a person reaches the age of sixteen, they are given a test. Up until today, I had no idea what it was for or what you had to do. My twin brother, Aki, and I took the test together. We were presented with a mummified hand. I felt a powerful surge run through my body. My brother on the other hand, was wounded. After the power surge, I was told that I was to die. Then, they just attacked me and took Aki away. I escaped, but I know that my family will stop it nothing to see me dead now..." Aya's grip on her cofee mug tightened and tears swelled in her eyes. Nariko gently placed her hand on her shoulder, "You poor girl. That's awful. I can't imagine what it feels like to lose your brother like that. Listen, you can stay here as long as you want. We'll make sure no one hurts you. Won't we, Kensuke?"

Nariko turned towards her brother, who had apparently been standing in the doorframe the entire time. He nodded sincerely and said, "Of course. Now, on a lighter note, dinner's ready."

Aya stared at Kensuke for a moment. She hadn't even noticed that he had been there. Nariko noticed her surprise and said as Kensuke left the room, "Yea, he has a tendency to just appear out of what seems like nowhere.You'll get used to it eventually. Now come on, we don't want to let our dinner to get cold!" And with that, she picked up her mug of cocoa and walked out to the dining room, Aya close behind.

The three of them sat down to eat. Aya looked at the table amazed by the food in front of her. The sukiyaki, was in the center of the table with steam stilll rising from it. Mochi was also present but Aya thought to pass up on that treat. Also there were small bowls of rice, but as Aya counted she wondered what was going on.

"Um, Nariko, I only see three of us here, but there are four bowls of rice. Is there someone who I haven't met yet?"

Before Nariko had an answer a short stubby woman with one of those funny faces came into the door.

"Hey Nariko, Kensuke, Hmmm,something smells-," the older woman looked down at Aya. "Oh I didn't know we were having company. Kensuke is this your girlfriend."

Kensuke almost choked on a sip of water that he had taken and spit it out over his shoulders.

"*coughs* No-No Ms. M, it's not like that, I don't even know her."

"You don't know here, is she a prostitue that you hired to be your girlfriend."

Aya mouth dropped to the floor and Kensuke looked between the two of them.

"Well Kensuke, aren't you going to explain to this old hag, who I am!"

"Old hag, I'll show you old hag!"

Electriciy seemed to be passed between Aya and Mrs M. Before anything else could be said betwwen the two Nariko stood up and explained to Ms. M.

"Oh, I'm sorry Ms M. This is my friend Aya, she'll be staying here for a littl while, There are a few things going on in her life and she just needs a little help to get by."

Ms. M. looked at Aya, whose glare had now focused on Kensuke instead who held his head down with embarrasment. Ms M. saw the fire coming from Aya's body and went over to here to apologize.

"Aya, is it?"

Aya'a head turned quickly to the funny faced old woman.

"I'm sorry that I said so many harsh words to you. Its just that I see Kensuke as a son."

Aya shook her hear acknowledging she understood.

"Oh, I'm just so rude, I didn't even introduce myself." She said quickly trying to change the whole moood. "My name is Ms. Yui Motosawa, but you can call me Ms. M."

Aya saw how sincere Ms M was and smiled at the woman. With that Ms M took her place at the table. All of them showed gratitude to Kensuke for preparing such a delicious meal and they all began to eat.
Halfway through the meal Aya looked over at Kensuke who has said virtually nothing. But she occasionally saw him glancing at her. Aya was still mad at him. She couldn't believe how he hadn't stood up for her and how Nariko was the one to do it. She wallowed in that feeling for the rest of the meal but tried her best to ignore him. [/COLOR][/SIZE]

[COLOR=firebrick][B]After dinner, Nariko was sentenced to dish duty. Aya had offered to help and she had eagerly accepted. She didn't really like dish duty all that much when she had to do it alone. Having company at the sink was fun!

"You'll have to forgive Ms. M. She may be old and a bit overprotective, but she's the closest thing me and Kensuke have to a mother," she said with an apologetic smile. Aya nodded, "It's okay. I'm sure she's a really nice person. But mistaking me for Kensuke's girlfriend? I-"

"You were in total shock! The look on your face was priceless! Heh, it was hillarious!" Nariko laughed happily. Aya glared at her for a second, but then decided to have some fun. She splashed some soapy water on the laughing eighteen year old. Nariko immediately stopped laughing. Her eyes narrowed and she splashed back. "Hey!" Aya exclaimed as the soapy water soaked the front of the borrowed shirt. She soon returned fire. It wasn't long before the kitchen was the battlefield of an all-out water war! Soap covered the whole kitchen and the two girls were sliding around on the slippery floor. It seemed a bit childish for their age, but they were having fun. But then, Aya tried to splash Nariko, who ducked. The water instead, hit who else but Seiya* Kensuke. He looked down at the soaked spot on his shirt and then to Aya. He gave a small, "Hn." and then turned and walked. away before Aya could apologize.

"Don't worry Aya. It was an accident. He'll forgive you. Here, you can wait in my room while I clean up this mess. It's the one right next to the laundry room. It's a bit messy." Nariko said reassuringly. The younger girl nodded and left for the room. Nariko soon joined her after cleaning up all the bubbles and water. She cleared a space in the middle of her room and pulled out an extra futon for her new roommate. They both changed into their pajamas (Aya borrowed another set of clothes from Nariko's wardrobe). Nariko turned out the lights and crawled into bed. She needed rest. Tomorrow she would have to return to work.

The next morning, Nariko found Aya already awake and listening to one of her Utada Hikaru CDs on her CD player. Nariko yawned and greeted, "Good morning Aya. Didja sleep well?"

Aya took off the headphones and replied, "Yea. How about you?"

"Pretty good. So, Aya, I was thinking, how do you wan't to spend your day? Would you like to go to work with me in the village, or would you like to stay here with Kensuke and Ms. M? It's all up to you."

"Well..."

"Well....how about I make my decision after a delicious breakfast." Aya thought about how good dinner was last night and hope that Kensuke's cooking was just as good in the morning.

"Well, I'm sorry to tell you but Kensuke doesn't like to do breakfast."

Aya's mouth dropped down to the floor. Her thoughts of delicious morning delicacies were being stolen away from her by an evil clan of winged monkeys. In her thoughts she ran after them hoping that one item would miraculously fall from one of the monkey's palms and land in her lap.

"Earth to Aya," Nariko waved her hands in frontof the daydreaming girls face.

"Geesh, you just got up and you're dazing out already. I know what it is, you're thinking about Kensuke."

Aya heard those words and were snapped immediately from the daydream.

"Why I'd never in a million years-"

"Yeah right. Like you weren't dreaming about him last night," Ayay looked puzzled at Nariko's implications. "I heard you talking in your sleep all last night."

"No I didn't, besides I don't even talk in my sleep."

Aya through a pillow in Nariko's direction but it missed her. After Nariko threw a pillow back and hit Aya on the head the two girls laughed and got dressed. As Aya' played her memories of last night in her head. She only wished that thoughts of Kensuke did haunt her.

Instead Aya lived yesterday's ordeak through her head all ove again. Her body surging. Her brothers wounds. Her family trying to kill her and ever her own father right there holding her down. Then that voice. That lady's voice, who was she. As Aya looked back she saw flashes of a dark haired woman come into her head but no face was shown. Only her hair.

Aya headed out of the room and went into the kitchen where she saw Ms M, Nariko and Kensuke.

"Hello Aya," the funny faced woman said.

"Hi, Ms M. Good Morning Kensuke," she managed to spit out hello to him.

"Hey," he replied not looking up from the table.

As Aya sat to the table and at a few pieces of fruit the question was asked to her again.

"So are you gonna go with me to the village or not?"

Aya looked ove at Kensuke, seeing him look up real quick and back down to his food she replied,"Sure, let go!!"

"Okay then! Let's get going!" Nariko exclaimed, grabbing one last piece of fruit and jumping up to leave.

"Are you so sure you want to go out right now?" Kensuke asked in a sarcastic and amused voice.

"Why wouldn't I?" the eighteen year old asked with a tilt of her head.

?Maybe, because you?re still in your pajamas?? her brother replied with a smirk. Nariko looked down at herself to realize that she was in fact still wearing her Megatokyo t-shirt and pajama pants. She looked back up at Kensuke and gave him that fake smile that plainly says, ?I hate you.? He gave her an equally weird grin that meant, ?Love you too sis?.? Aya and Ms. M just looked on trying not to burst out laughing.

?Well then! I guess we?ll get dressed and [I]then[/I] we?ll get going!? Nariko proclaimed with a look of confidence. And so they did. After they were both dressed and ready, Nariko gave her brother a hug and both said goodbye to Kensuke and Ms. M. The village wasn?t that far away from the Seiya-Motosawa house, so they decided to walk instead of take the car. Mostly they walked in silence, except for a few ?nice? words from Nariko to a reckless driver who almost hit them. It wasn?t until they almost reached the village that an actual conversation was started.

?Aya, whatever you do, don?t get separated from me. From what you?ve told me about your family, they?ll do anything to do you in. I need you to stay close to me in case anything happens.? Nariko?s expression was unusually serious compared to her usual one. Aya looked up at her with worried eyes, ?You really think they?d take me here??

?I dunno?But it?s very possible. I mean, it isn?t that hard to blend into the crowd here, and one of these people could possibly be an assassin. Don?t be worried though. I told you last night that we?ll protect you. And of course, I?m sure Daisuke won?t mind helping either,? she replied.

?Who?s-??

?You?ll see. 3?2?1??

?NARIKO-CHAN!?

?That?s Daisuke.? Nariko hung her head as a young brown haired man came running up to her. He hugged her and said, ?Nariko-chan, it?s been so long! I could hardly stand the torture of not being by your side! It was horrible!?

?Daisuke, first of all, let go of me or you will not be able to tell your face from your ***. Second of all, you saw me yesterday. And third of all, I have a friend I want to introduce you to,? she said, standing completely still and glaring at the man hugging her. Daisuke pulled back and cried, ?A friend! What kind of friend? It isn?t a boy is it??

Nariko pried Daisuke?s hands off of her, ?No Daisuke, she?s not a guy,? she turned to Aya, ?Aya Mikage, Daisuke Kishi. Daisuke Kishi, Aya Mikage. There, now that that?s settled, Daisuke will you kindly let me and my friend go to work.?

?Of course I will! Anything you say, darling.? Daisuke flashed a flirty smile at Nariko and bowed out of her way. Aya leaned over to Nariko and whispered (because Daisuke was still following in hearing range), ?Who is that freak??

?Daisuke Kishi, my ?soul mate? as he calls it. It?s like he?s obsessed with me?? Nariko replied in and equally low voice. Finally, they reached their final destination: the Nichi Café where Nariko worked as a waitress. They entered through the employee entrance (unfortunately, Daisuke followed, since he too worked at the Nichi Café) and introduced Aya to some of the other waitresses. After 10 minutes of introductions and flirting from Daisuke, Nariko set to work. But of course, she always kept Aya in sight for fear of her being abducted.

Kensuke satyed at the table for many minutes after Aya and Nariko left. He wondered ihe should go on as help to Nariko. But then he stayed there,[I] Should I go, maybe I can really talk to Aya. Like she'll ever talk to me. Besides she's just..just not my type.[/I]

as he reasoned with himself Ms M just looked on in amazment. She soon was face to face with Kensuke and scared him to death.

"Don't you know about the 3 feet rule?" He questioned her quickly grabbing his heart as if he was about to die.

"You thinking of her aren't you?" Mrs. M's question was blunt. She looked at him waiting for an answer.

Kenskue stood up quickly and dropped off his dish to the sink.

"Who are you talking about?"

"Dont play coy, you like her don't you?"

"Are you talking about Aya?"

"BINGO, you are not the weakest link!"

"Please, as if I could ever..."

The words were trailed off by his thinking and he went on to wash is plate and left the house. He couldn't stay around Mrs M. She would definetly try to poke her nose in his life.

Aya sat at one of the booths looking outside the restaraunt windo as she looked at the passer-bys. As she looked on she saw a few friends, but luckily no family. As her thougts turned to them she began to think about her brother once again.

[I]Aki, I hope you can hear me.. I miss you![/I]

As she continued to stare out the window a very handsome man looked back at her. Just then her thoughts went back to the day before her birhtday. She was sitting on the overpass rail and was talking to her brother and a few of their close friends. Somehow, probably due to her clumsiness she fell over the rail and was almost hit by a car. He had been there to catch her and basically saved her. She stood there stunned by the powers this man must possess and even thought he could be a guardian angel.

He was so very cute. Light blonde hair that went to the shoulders. And just a vision of perfection to her eyes. She kept looking at him, when she realized that he had come in and sat opposite of her.

"So how are you today?"

"I'm fine, I dont think I ever got a chance to thank you!"

"That's no problem, but I must ask you one favor, can you please do this for me?"

She looked at this man, she didn't even know him but yet the look told her he could be trusted.

"First tell me your name?"

"Call me, Ryu!"

"Well Ryu, I am..."

" I know who you are. I overheard your borhter, Aya right."

"Yeah thats right." She was tunned but soon remember what he asked." So what is this favor?"

"I want you to leave here now!"

"I can't do that."

Realising time was up, he stood up," Well, suit yourself. But don't say I didn;t warn you. Aya Mikage!"

With those words he walked out of the door and continued down the street. [I] How does he know my last name?[/I]

Nariko watched the man who had just left Aya with suspicion. There was something threatening about his last words that didn't sit right with the brunette. On her noon break, she immediately walked over to Aya's table and slid in to the booth.

"Hey Aya, who was that-one second..." Nariko turned around and smacked the person in the booth behind them (who turned out to be Daisuke, who immediately moved another booth down to give the girls privacy, but still in sight of Nariko) and then turned back to Aya. "Anyways, who was that guy who was talking to you earlier? A friend of yours?"

"His name's Ryu, or so he says. He saved me from a car accident a while back. I didn't even really meet him until today. Nariko, he may be a life-saver, but what he said before he left...It gave me the chills. What worries me even more is that I don't know how he knew my last name! It's so eerie. He told me to leave the cafe. Do you think there may be someone working for my family here?" Aya asked.

"If you look at the statistics, most likely they are." Nariko glanced at her watch, "Here, I have to go back to bussing tables, but I'm sure Daisuke can look after you for a while-?No sooner had she uttered his name, than Daisuke was at her side.

?Did you say something about me, Nariko-chan?? he asked.

"Actually Daisuke, I did. Could you do a favor for me? I need you to look after Aya while I'm bussing tables. I'll be keeping an eye on her myself, but I need you to make sure nobody gets her out of this cafe. Okay?" Nariko replied.

"Of course Nariko-chan." he flashed another smile.

"Okay then, I'm off!" she grabbed her notepad for taking down orders and went back to her job. Then it happened. About fifteen minutes later, she heard a scream from the other side of the cafe. She looked searched frantically for the source of the disruption. She saw the one thing she had been worrying about the whole afternoon. Daisuke was lying face down and unconcious on the floor and Aya was being carried out the door by two men dressed in black. Many people were already trying to capture the culprits, but to no avail.

"Aw crap!" she exclaimed. She dropped the tray she had been holding and went after them. [I]Guess it's time to see how much those fighting lessons paid off![/I][/COLOR][/B]

"Don't try to struggle Ms. Mikage. It no use." The men coninued their hold on Aya as they headed fot the door.

Aya tried her hardest to break free from the two men but thie hold was relentless. She kicked, screamed, anf tried to not move. Soon the men got tired of fighting with her and one of them picked her up.

"You're coming whether you like it or not."

They were outside now and a small crowd seemed to gather wondering what was going on. They moved closer to a black car. Standing beside it was Ryu.

"You, you bastard. You'll regret what you're doing! I cant believe you work for my family. Do you know what they're gonna do to me?"

Her screams seemed to fall on deaf ears as Ryu continued to stand there and the crownd only looked on.

"LET HER GO!" Aya saw Nariko come beind her and kick the man who was holding her. The man lost his balance and dropped Aya and fell right next to her. The other man saw this and turned back to Nariko ready to attack. Nariko stood ready and attacked the man. Aya looked on in surprise as Nariko went line for line with this man. After a few more moments the other man got up and grabbed Aya.

"Take care of her, I'll get Ms Mikage-" The man was cut off and again fell to the ground. Ryu had hit him in the back of the head and her fell unconscious.

Aya looked up at Ryu and he took her hand and ran. "C'mon!"

Aya was dragged by Ryu and loooked back to Nariko. Nariko almost got pinned by the man but soon her coworkers and many crowd members helped her out. She soon lost Nariko in the blur of all the bodies helping her out.

"Where are you taking me? Let me go!" Aya said as Ryu continued to run with the girl behind him.

"Can't you hear me?"

Ryu still didn't answer.

"I said let go."

Aya snatched her hand from Ryu who turned around to see her standing a few feet behind him.

"Aya, there is no time to explain, we must get away from here. Please let's go."

"No, I will not go."

With no other alternative, Ryu took Aya and picked her up.

"Will you put me down?"

Aya began to struggle with Ryu but he didn't not let her go. The people walking along the street looked at them carefully but didn't interfere. Most of them giggled, thinking they were having a lover quarrel.

After a few more blocks of walking, Aya gave up on her yelling and soon she was placed down on the ground. She loooked around and realized where she was.

"Why am I back at Nariko's neighborhood?"

She looked at Ryu who just stood there watching her.

"Please listen to me. Yes I do work for your family, but I want you not to go out. Please stay here or leave Japan immediately."

"I cannot leavce, what about my brother, where is my brother Aki?"

"He's fine, but-"

"Aya, is that you?" Aya looked to see Kensuke coming towards her about 50 meters away. " Is he trying to hurt you?"

"N-" Aya tried to speak but Ryu disrupted her.

"It looks like I must take my leave. UNtil next time Ms. Mikage."

He took her hand and kissed it. Soon he walked away and soon sped up to a run. "Bye!"

"Are you okay?"

Kensuke startled Aya, and was right behind her.

"Did he hurt you?"

"No, he didn't."

"Listen, Aya, I'm sorry if I've been mean lately, but please believe me when I say sorry."

Kensuke put his arm around Aya and walked her back to the house.

Aya was about to speak but Kensuke didn't let her interrupt.

"From now on both Nariko and I will look after you, we'll both make sure your family never tries to hurt you again."

"Thanks," Aya said, "That really means alot." [/COLOR][/SIZE]

Nariko walked quietly back to the almost empty Nichi Cafe. She held back angry tears. She had let Aya down! Aya had been taken because she hadn't been paying attention. Not to mention, Daisuke had gotten hurt in the process. She saw a medic tending to Daisuke, who was sitting on the floor and conscious again. She walked over and knelt beside him. "Hey Daisuke."

"Nariko-chan? I'm sorry; it was my fault Aya got-"

"No, no, no Daisuke. You were fine. It was my fault that I wasn't paying attention. Here, I want you to, when you're finished up here, come with me to my house. I'll need your help in trying to find Aya. Okay?" she half-whispered.

"Okay Nariko-chan." he smiled. Not the same flirtatious smile he usually did, but one of true understanding and encouragement. She then went into the backroom to put away her uniform.

Ten minutes later, Nariko and Daisuke were walking up to the front door. Nariko was just about to turn the doorknob when who should open the door but Aya Mikage!

"Aya? Aya!" Nariko flung her arms around Aya and said, "My God, I thought you were gone! How'd you ever get away?"

"Nice to see you to Nariko. Hello Daisuke, glad to see that you're okay." Aya said with a smile when Nariko finally stopped hugging her. "I'll explain everything inside."

The three went into the living room where Kensuke was already seated. He looked up from his coffee cup, "Yo Nariko. Took you long enough to get here. And..." Kensuke's eyes narrowed, "Hello, Kishi."

Daisuke's eyes narrowed as well, "Long time no see, Kensuke."

The two glared at each other in the silence that followed. Nariko passed Aya a piece of paper. It said:

[I]Those two hate each other. They got into a fight when Kensuke got mad at him for hitting on me. It?s been like this ever since.[/i]

When Aya finished reading, Nariko pointed to the two and mouthed the words, ?This could get ugly.?

Aya nodded in acknowledgement. Nariko smiled suddenly and said, ?Okay now that the hellos are all done, let?s sit down and chat, eh??

Daisuke and Kensuke nodded with a simultaneous, ?Hn.? Aya sat next to Kensuke on the couch and Nariko and Daisuke sat on coushins* on the floor. Nariko was first to speak, "I saw Ryu carry you off. What'd he try to do, Aya?"

"Well, actually, he was the one who brought me back to your neighborhood. He told me either stay in the house at all times or to leave the country alltogether," she began.

"Leave the country? Why would you need to leave the country?" Daisuke asked tilting his head to the left. The other three looked at one another and silently decided it was time to let Daisuke know about the seriousness of the case. Aya told her tale to Daisuke. Nariko could see the pain in her eyes as she talked about Aki. She felt so sorry for her. She really couldn't imagine what it'd be like to lose her own brother, Kensuke. She could tell Aya was a very, very strong person. If it had been her, she wouldn't be half as calm as Aya was. [i]Wow...[/i]

Aya wrapped up her story with, "And now here we are sitting in Nariko's living room."

"That has got to be the most emotional story I've ever heard Aya. If you need help, I'm there for you." Daisuke assured her.

"Thanks Daisuke." Aya gave him a smile that Nariko could tell was true but then again somewhat forced.

"Okay then, our options: A, never let Aya out of our sights...EVER. Or, B, leave the country." Kensuke said with a grim smile.

"Well, eventually her family will figure out where she is. I say leave the country!" Nariko replied.

"Me two."

"Me three."

"Me four. But where are we going to go?" Aya asked.

"Well, I don't know, probably America. With all the tourists there, we would be able to blend in perfectly!" Nariko answered. Kensuke smirked at her and said, "Well then, Miss-I-Have-Such-A-Brilliant-Plan, how are we going to [i]get[/i] to America in the first place?"

"Well actually, my uncle's best friend's son's brother's roommate's father is a pilot for Japan Air Lines. I'm sure he'd be willing to give us a ride!" Daisuke piped up. Everyone stared at him for a minute before Aya said, "Riiiiiiiiight. Now Daisuke, are you sure that he'll give us a ride?"

Daisuke smiled, "Of course he will! Me an' him are like best buds!"

A large sweatdrop formed on the back of everybody else's heads.[/color][/b]

Aya, Nariko, Kensuke, and Daisuke sat around the house for the rest of the evening. When Mrs. M. came over the same story was also repeated to her.

"Oh my goodness, Aya are you gonna be okay with just up and leaving Japan?"

"Mrs. M. I don't reallly know, but if it'll give me some time to get my family off my back and me to figure out a way to help my brother then I'll do so."

"Well since you 4 are going to America I'm gonna stay on in Japan."

"What?!"

Everyone stood up with a great sense of confusion on their faces.

"But what if they come after you?" Aya said.

"Yeah we'll never live that down if you get hurt," Nariko added.

"Well I figure I can stay and supervise things, you know do a little spying. That way if things cool down I can tell you to come back of if something interesting goes on I can contact you."

"Well Nariko," Kensuke started, "she does have a point, besides we do need a contact here."

"Well Mrs. M. since you put it that way... I guess its okay."

On the other side of town in the Mikage family house Aki laid in bed.

"How is he?"

"So far he has only awoken for moments at a time. He is still very weak and we need to care for him more."

"Inform me at once when he finally wakes up."

"Yes sir."

The slender dark haired man walked down the steps and into the dining room. The huige room still showed the scars it recieved when Aya's power's first came out. The man studied the room and the blood on the floor wondering how one person could possess such power.

Behind the man stood another gentlemen who was also very tall but also toned.

"Aww, Ryu so you've returned? What news have you got of cousin Aya."

"I did as you asked. She is back at the residence and is probably ready to flee, just as you predicted."

"Good, maybe the escape will give her time to develop. I mean have you ever heard of such a person having such power."

"No Mr. Mikage I haven't."

"Come now Ryu, you've worked here long enough, please call me by my first name, Kagami."

"I.. think I can try t do that. But any more orders?"

"Just keep and eye on Aya, we must find out where she is going."[/SIZE][/COLOR]

When she posts, there might be a few...spelling errors, but then again, she's a good story teller. Also, I read a little bit ((like, 5 pages)) of the original Ceres manga a few days ago...LOL, and I realized how different this is from it! And now...Ceres: Part 13!

Nariko yawned as she slipped on her oversized t-shirt in the bathroom. She shoved her hairbrush, toothbrush, toothpaste, and other toiletries in a green backpack and zipped it up. She couldn't believe she was finally leaving Japan. And for America! [i]Well mama, I'm finally leaving Japan for an adventure. Though not one you would think...[/i] She bit her lower lip at the thought of her mother. Three years since she had died, but the pain was still there. She shook her head to get thought out of her mind. She put on her best fake smile and exited the bathroom.

She walked down the dimly lit hallway to the living room where a bit of the dawn light filtered through the window. She was surprised to find Aya sitting on the couch hugging a pillow and watching TV. Nariko tilted her head to the side and said quietly, "Aya? What're you doing up so early?"

Aya jumped at the sound of Nariko's voice, but turned around and smiled weakly, "Oh, hey Nariko. I couldn't sleep."

"Couldn't sleep? Did you have a bad dream or something?" the older girl asked sitting on the couch next to her friend.

"Sort of...Well, actually, for the last few nights, I've been having these very strange dreams. I see these images of a dark haired woman who never shows her face. I can hear her talking to me, but it's hard to tell what she's saying. It's the creepiest thing ever." Aya replied staring blankly at the TV. Nariko looked at her and said, "You can't see her face, or even tell what she's saying? Wow, that is kinda creepy...Do you think it has something to do with what happened at your house?"

"I'm 99.9% sure of it." her friend answered, still staring at the television screen.

"What do you think it means?"

"That I don't know...Are Daisuke and Kensuke up yet?" Aya asked suddenly, probably hoping to get off of the awkward subject. Nariko sighed tiredly and said, "We'll be lucky if they ever get up, those two bums. So, what's on?"

"I'm not really sure..." Aya replied with a giggle.

Half an hour later, the two lazy b-I mean Kenuske and Daisuke, finally did wake up.

"Mornin' Nariko. Mornin' Aya." Kensuke greeted the two with a yawn as he entered the room.

"Good morning Kensuke." Nariko and Aya replied together.

"Good morning Aya. And good morning Nariko-chan! Did you sleep well? I hope you did." Daisuke asked as he tried to slide onto the couch next to Nariko. Unfortunately, he only succeded in falling off of the couch and onto the floor when Kensuke got there first. The brown haired fanboy pouted for a minute and then pulled up a coushin to sit on.

"So, what's the game plan today?"

"Well, let's talk about it over breakfast. I'm hungry!" Kensuke replied, who was already half way to the kitchen. Everybody else shrugged and followed him in to eat and discuss their plans.

Back at the Mikage house, another person was waking up. This person was Aki Mikage. His eyes slowly opened and he slowly regained consciousness. He couldn't remember much, but he did remember that it hurt...Alot. In fact, he was still hurting now. Every bone in his body ached. It was hard to move, but somehow he managed to sit up. He tried to remember all the things that had happened. He remembered the test, and what had happened then, and he remembered Aya. [i]Wait a minute. Where's Aya?[/i]

"Aya?" he called out hoarsely. No reply. He tried again, a little bit louder, "Aya?"

Suddenly, his mother entered the room, smiling and holding a tray full of food.

"Aki! I'm so glad to see you're up! Here! Eat some of this delicious food!" she greeted him happily. She set the tray down in front of him and sat down in a chair beside his bed. He looked at the food and then at his mother, "Mother, where's Aya?"

His mother cringed when he mentioned her name. She smiled again and said, "There is no need to worry about her. You don't ever need to think about her ever again."

As Aki sat up and started to eat his breakfast he bagan to feel a little stregnt return to his body. He smiled fakely and weakly and his other and knew that he neede mre rest but not without seeing his dad.

"Hey mom," Aki called.

"Yes dear, glad to see you enjoyed my breakfast, but what did you want?" She said calmly.

"Umm, where's dad, I'd like to speak to him alone if I can."

"And what do you have to say to your dad that you can't say to me?" She was offended by the fact he had something to hide.

"You know, just guys stuff, please?"

He begged a bit then showed his eyes that always got the best of her.

"Okay then I'll get him right away."

She took the tray from out of the room and proceeded downstairs. Aki tried to sit up but found the pain still a little unbearable.

"Damn what are they keeping from me, I've got to get outta here quick."

With that last saying a knock came at the door and his father proceeded to step inside.[/COLOR]

Back at Nariko's home everyone was sitting down eating one of the best breakfast's they have had in a while.

"Great job, Kensuke," Daiskue mangaged to get out while chomping down his food." This is just excellent."

Kensuke smiled, while everyone else stared in pure amazement as Daisuke ate. Aya leaned over to Nariko and said," He looks like Goku from Dragonball Z, do you suppose he's a Saiyan of some sorts."

"If he was I'd be happy but sorry he's all human."

Continuing to see him feast Aya and Nariko formed sweatdrops on the back of their head from pure embarrasment.

"And we're taking him to America." Aya said under her breathe.

Wih that a thought popped into Nariko's head.

"Daisuke, when are we laving?"

He slurped down the last few bites and swallowed hard.

"Early tomorrow morning. Our flights at 7:30 am. So be ready."

Aya knew that she had one last chance to see Aki and ahe had to take it.

Kensuke cleared the dishes as silently as as he had prepaired the breakfast. First rinsing them and then dropping them in the sink to wash later in the day. Daisuke had demolished everything that the others had refused, which wasn't much. He had eaten more than anyone. It was rather comical. He hated Kensuke, but loved his food.

Kensuke smirked and cleared the final two plates from in front of Aya and Nariko.

[b]Aya-[/b] "What are you smiling about?" He toned his grin down to a small smile and looked at Aya.

[b]Kensuke-[/b] "Absolutely nothing." Daisuke scoffed and gave Kensuke a bemused smile. "You ate my food, now leave." His mood had turned 180degrees. He now felt the calming hand of hate clenching his mind and forcing his day down the drain. He turned back to the dishes.

[b]Daisuke-[/b] "You're lucky I got you a ticket too prettyboy." Kensuke began to turn, ready to slander the little stalker with a million different insults. Nariko caught his eye and mouthed the word 'No'. With an audible sigh of disgust, he glared at Daisuke and went back to the dishes.

[b]Nariko-[/b] "Out." He heard Daisuke stand up.

[b]Daisuke-[/b] "But Nariko-san, I still have have some orange juice." He was pulled from the room by Nariko, leaving Kensuke and Aya alone. He shut off the faucet and turned toward Aya.

[b]Kansuke-[/b] "Aya?" The girl had a faraway look in her eyes. Almost as if she was imagining an encounter with an old friend. She did not reply. "Aya? Are you ok?" She blinked rapidly.

[b]Aya-[/b] "Oh... Uh, yes! I'm fine Kensuke... Really." He smiled, not conviced at all. He left the room, thinking he should probably keep an eye on her. And he had called Daisuke a stalker...

Nariko glared at the door in front of her as she half-dragged Daisuke down the hall towards it. Kensuke needed time to cool down before he had to spend the next few weeks, maybe even months, having to deal with the other guy. She flung open the door and pointed outside, "Daisuke, go. I've had enough of you and Kensuke's bickering for a while now. I think all of us need a little break from it before we leave. So, could you just leave until tomorrow? For sanity's sake!"

Daisuke looked down at his shoes and said, "I'm so sorry Nariko-chan. I"ll leave if you really want me too."

[i]God he looks so cute right now...Wait a minute! Did I just say he was cute? Well, I guess...no![/i]

"Well, I'll leave if you do me a favor," he replied looking up. Nariko rolled her eyes and said, "What do you want Daisuke?"

In one quick movement, Daisuke pulled Nariko into his arms and pressed his lips to hers. Her eyes went wide for a moment. Memories flew by like quick moving photos. The day that she met Daisuke, things he had done and said, and the smile that he had given her at the cafe. All of them raced through her mind as he kissed her. Daisuke usually acted like such a dork, but that wasn't all that was too him. He really did love her. Slowly, she gave in to him. She wrapped her arms around his neck and began to kiss him back.

They were suddenly interrupted by the sound of a shattering plate. They broke apart and turned to see Kensuke staring in shock and a broken plate at his feet.[/color][/b]

They're both going to kill me now! wait but Nariko-chan didn't resiste. Mabey she-"He started as his face was didstiorted looking half worried half lovesick. Of course he didn'thave time to say much elese as he ran ito a telepkone pole and saw tiny Narikos around his head. Oh course he had to get home to pack...after an hour of walking around dazed...when he was only a block from his appartment when the pole came to hug him. He hurt- A LOT- but he didn't care cause Nariko might love him too!

Hearing the plate break Aya quickly left the kitchen and ran into the living room. There she found Kensuke and Nariko standing there.
Both of them looked dumbfounded and Kensuke stood there with the towel in his hand. At his feet was the broken plate. Nariko stood next to an open door, Aya assuming that Daisuke had already left for the night.
Seeing that no one said a word she stepped forward and bent to the ground.

"Um, what's going on here you two?"

Niehter of them answered and she began to pick up the piece of the broken plate.

"You two do realize that there is a broken plate here?"

"Oh, yeah," Kensuke said and bent down to help pick up the remaining pieces. " I'm sorry if that scared you, here I'll get the rest of this."

"Thanks," Aya said and she stood up with a few broken plate pieces. She began to turn away but looked at Nariko for a moment. Nariko stood by the door and was facing out as if looking for someone to return.

"Nariko,"

"NARIKO!"

"Oh, yes Aya, I'm sorry what is it?"

"I asked what's going on, who are you looking for?"

"Um no one Aya, I'm sorry about that my mind just went somewhere for a moment."

"To someone." Kensuke said under his breath. Only Nariko catching the mumble of words.

She stared at him for a moment and then closed the door and passed by him and Aya.

"C'mon," she said grabbing Aya's arm." Lets go put this away before you cut yourself."

Aya not realizing what all happened followed Nariko's orders.

"Dad, where's my sister, what happened." Aki asked looking at his father's expressionless face look down to the floor.

"Son, it all happened too quick to say and I can't really-"

"Now don't you give me the silent treatment too. I cant stand you or moms lies. If you cant tell m the truth then leave now, and dont return until you wish to tell the TRUTH!!"

Aki turned his head and heard his father proceed to leave the room.As he father opend the door he turned around hoping that Aki would turn to see him leave. But Aki continued to ignore him

"Soon son, this will all be over."

Mr. Mikage headed downstairs and ran into Ryu. He stopped the young man and confronted him.

"Where is Aya?"[/COLOR][/SIZE]

Nariko led the younger girl back to her bedroom. She turned and shut, almost slammed, the door. She let go of Aya's wrist and sat down on her mattress.

"Um, Nariko? What was that all about?" Aya asked. Nariko took a deep breath and let it out slowly. She looked up at her friend and began, "Well...I was trying to kick Daisuke out and one thing led to another and eventually he was...um...how do I put this? Well..."

"Kissing you?" Aya finished her sentence. Nariko gulped and nodded sheepishly. She flopped onto her back and continued where Aya had left off, "And believe it or not, I [i]liked[/i] it!"

She heard Aya giggling and gave her The Look. But soon she was laughing too. She threw a pillow at Aya and she threw it back. Nariko caught it and said, "But seriously Aya, I'm confused. I don't know exactly how I feel. I'm pretty sure I [i]am[/i] in love with him, but there's still this little voice at the back of my head telling me no."

"Could that be the voice of your brother?" Aya joked. Both girls laughed again at the thought of a mini-Kensuke living in the back of Nariko's brain.

Suddenly, there was a knock on her bedroom door. She got up and opened the door to find the last person she needed to see right now: her brother. Not only could she not stop imagining the mini-him, but he was probably furious about the earlier happenings. Despite this, his face seemed calm and cool.

"Glad to see you're enjoying yourself. Nariko, may I please speak to you in the kitchen...alone?" he asked, making emphasis on the word alone. Nervously, Nariko nodded her head and followed her brother out to the kitchen. They sat in complete silence for almost a minute until Kensuke began.

"Nariko..."

He had FINALLY gotten home and had put an icepack to his head where the ploe had greeted him a little too closely. He floped on to his bed with a sigh. A mild concussion can do that to you.(I'm guessing) Of course it wasn't just the concussion. He wanted to get adjusted to a different timezone so he was going to bed at 3:00pm. And he had a big day ahead of him tomorrow too. HE hoped he could get a seat next to Nariko on the plane tomorrow...Suddenly a mental image of Kensuke with a big old wok(I don't think I spelled that right...) in hi hand looken pretty pissed. "I guess I'll just have to hope he didn't bring any heavy metal obyects with him." Daisuke smirked as he was swept into a dream full of Narikos smiling laughing and well...um things that I'm SO not going to say...

[b]Kensuke-[/b] "Nariko..." She looked at her brother with a mixture of fear and confusion. His face was completely placid. But inside, Kensuke churned like an ocean during a hurricane. But he wouldn't let Nariko see that. "I want you to take what I'm about to say completely to heart. Do not take this lightly. Daisuke is a..." He shook his head. "I can't explain what he is in words that are not deroggatory and wrong. But he is a waste of time. I want you to put him out of your mind as best you can. If you truely want him, take him. I won't like it. It will be hard for me to live with it, but I will. But right now, we have far more important matters to deal with. If you can't get rid of this infatuation at least put it on hold." He stood up and left the room quickly. "Nariko..." He left the house and turned down the road, taking a walk.

[b]Bum-[/b] "Gottaquata?" Kensuke emptied the change in his pockets into the bums hands and kept walking. In truth, he wasn't even sure if all the change added up to a quarter. But it didn't really matter. He needed to clear his mind. Too much... He sighed as he found himself on a pier, overlooking a rather small, but public, lake. He removed his shirt and shoes and dove in. The water was cool and clear. He floated on his back and began watching the clouds.

[color=green][b]Nariko sighed as she watched her brother leave. He was right. There were far more serious matters at hand. She didn't have time to be worrying about her little problems with Daisuke. Aya's problems were much bigger than her own. Speaking of Aya, she guessed she was getting pretty lonely back in the room. She walked back and reentered the room.

"So, what'd Kensuke want to talk about?" Aya asked.

"Oh, nothing...Nothing wahatsoever...But anyways, Aya, tell me something. If you don't want to answer, that's okay. But...what was life like with Aki? You seem pretty close to him." Nariko asked her friend. She could see her face fall a bit.

"We were...extremely close. We did everything together. We went to all the festivals together, played games together, had fun together..." Aya paused for a moment, "Got in trouble together." Nariko nodded. [i]Wow...Now that's devotion to your sibling.[/i]

"Anyways, when I was pulled from him, it was devastating. And I still don't know what has happened to him, how he's doing..."

Nariko saw tears forming in Aya's eyes. She put her hand on Aya's shoulder and said, "Aya, it's gonna be alright. We'll find out what all this is about and where Aki is. We'll find out all we can. But right now, all we can do is hope and pray."

"Thanks Nariko." Aya smiled through her tears. Nariko stood up and said, "I going to go do some laundry now. I'll be in the laundry room if you need me."

She headed for the door, but then looked back and said, "Aya? Please, whatever you do, don't try to go after Aki. It's too much of a risk." She gave her a serious look that faded into a smile and then continued on her way.[/color][/b]

Aya laid on the bed trying her best to clear thoughts of Aki but knew that it wouldn't last for long. She looked at the ceiling but just got more frustrated. She didn't want to be cofined. Not at a moment like this anyway and right now the air inside the house seemed so suffocating. She grapped her sweater and sandal and left the house. She went as quietly as possible hoping that neither Nariko or Kensuke(she doesn't know he left) would stop her. She quickly exited the door. Not looking back as she ran to the end of the road.
Being out at night was just a relief. A relief that she and Aki would celebrate. They would go to kareoke rooms and just sing and laugh the nights away. But as she thought of Aki, she also thought of her other friends as well. Miako, and Mutsumi. She wanted to see them too but didn't want to put them in danger. She looked around her and remember ths side of town very well. She found one of her favorite spots to break away from stress. Although this lake was very close to her familys mansion. She knew if she could be with Aki, she could at least be close.
She found a small bench and sat down looking at the sky. The pure air and the clear sky seemed to alleviate some of the pain. But she wished to walk closer to her brother and just yell at the house. As her desire to see her brother flooded her heart tears began to stream down her eyes. Hearing a few footstep come her way she quickly dried her eyes. She didn't want to attact attention. As she looked up she saw a familiar face and then quickly held her head down hoping that he would just pass her by.

"Well, well, well, Ms. Aya, we meet again....2 times in one day. I must say that I am a lucky man."

"Oh its you, what are you ding here?" Her face wnt from sadness to a half-hinted rage.

"Now, now, don't you know, your family's house isn't that far from here besides. I do have the right to walk about this town don't I?"

"I don't know... I didn't know A dog could be left to wander the streets alone without his master."

Ryu smirked at Aya as she stared dead into his eyes He soon saw the dried up tears on her face and took her hand once again...

"Come with me...now"

Before she had time to react he took her hand and walked quickly around the park.

"WILL YOU LET GO OF ME!"

"Shhhh, or you'll never have this opprotunity again."

"What are you talking about, where are you taking me?"

"DO YOU WANNA SEE YOUR BROTHER OR NOT?!"

Aya looked stunned for a moment but then no longer fought Ryu. She went along with hm. Not thinking of whatever consequenses this could have. All she knew was that she had to see Aki.[/COLOR]

OOC: She's at the same lake as Kensuke....so KOTR...you know what to do.

Aki layed in his bed tossing and turning. The quick events in his mind playing over and over again. But this time something was different. As everything styaed black in his head he heard the voices around him.

[I] You no longer have any right to be near him. [/I]
Grandpa...is that you...Aki still dreamed on as he heard the voices continmue in his head...


[I] Why have you taken Aki away from me. He's my brother.[/I]
Aya....Aya... I haven't gone anywhere I'm still here...the voices now seemed to fade away, but here still her the loud voices in the room.

[I] Not any longer Aya.........Your brother is the only heir to this family now. And you...must...die....[/I]

"NOoooooooo.....AYA!" Aki startled himself out of the dream and sat up in the bed. Although his wound still hurt. the dream seemed so real and his body was drenced in sweat. He pulled his body back to the headboard and began to cry.

His bedroom door swung open and there is dad stood.

"Son are you okay?"

Aki looked athis dad and began to cry, his father took a few steps closer to him and then Aki looked at him with fury in his eyes.

"YOU....KILLED...HER! You helped them kill her...My sister..you did din't you. I don't want you or the rest of the family near me ever agin. Now get outta here.

"But son...she.."

" I SAID GO...NOW!"

His dad turned and left the room. About to say a few words but Aki turned away from him.

"She isn't dead...but I'm sorry we ha to take her from you...Good Night Son!"

Aki settled back in his bed, but the new of Aya being kicked out of the family got him even more upset...Soon another person came into the door way.

"Hey Aki, I got something to show you...C'mon besides I think you need to get out of this house for a few minutes."

Unable to defy Ryu, Aki got up with his help and was put into a wheelchair. They went downstairs and outside the complex. On the way out they were stopped buy a few guards but was alloed to proceed.

"What do you want to show me Ryu? I have nothing that I wish to see!"

"Hmmm, you mean ..Not Even Her!"


Aki looked up to see Aya standing only a few feet away from him. She quickly ran over to her brother and gave him a great big hug. But she heard his pain and let go of him quickly. She looed over his body and wondered how he was healing up.
As she stood there in front of him something in her body wished to be free again. It was the same feeling from the night of the party.

"Aya, what's wrong?"

She saw his sister's body flow with energy and and invisble wind began to twirl around her body.

"Ryu, get him away from me please."

"No, Aya, Not like this I'm just seeing you again I dont wanna go."

"Please, Aki, stay away."

As Ryu began to back Aki away, he began to turn and saw a few men come up behind her.

"Quick grab her!"

"AYA, RUN, they're coming for you."
