Two new poems I've just written. Give me any feedback and I'll try not to bite your head off. ^_~

Jumpin' and Fallin', Runnin' and Funnin'
i look over at him
and see his fear
is he too scared to jump?
i smile a little to comfort him
that should make it better
he smiles back
but it's so forced
he doesn't mean it
he's not going to jump
doesn't he know?
It Ain't The Fall That Hurts
And The Jumpin's The Best Part
Now Run Straight Ahead
And Close Your Eyes
When You Open Them Again
You'll Get A Great Surprise
That Rush Of Adrenaline
The Cool Water On Your Face
You Don't Want To Be Left Just Runnin' In Place
So Take The Plunge
And Get To Jumpin'
It's Really The Best Part
I'm Gonna Go
So Why You Keep Funnin'?

Caged
Ever feel like
You're stuck in a box?
No matter how hard you fight
Or how hard you struggle
You'll always be stuck in that box
For some
It's their home
For others
It's their current job
And for still others
It's the life they lead
Everyday
Closing in
Folding over
Getting smaller
and smaller
and smaller
Until there's no more room
And their Box is a Cage
And they're put on display
Like an animal in a zoo

Glad you know how they must feel
