attachment option

[color=crimson]While browsing other vB boards, I noticed they did something neat with attachments. If you were not logged into or not a member of the board, attachemnts would appear as they are now, and when you clicked on them it would as you to either register or log in. If you logged in and went back to the same page, it would say

[i](Name) has attached the following image[/i]

then it would show the image, so you wouldn't have to click on the link. I would like to se OB incorperate this.[/color]

All that is is a feature that does exactly that. It's not a hack or anything. It's not a new feature. It's been around nearly as long as vB itself. And it's not too good for threads with multiple attachments or people with low-speed connections.

Plus, how lazy can you be not to [i]move your mouse two inches[/i] to click an attachment?

[size=1]When you want to attach an image, you need to use the "post reply" button at the bottom of the thread. There's the field for you to type in, and slightly below that is an option that says "browse."

Click that; it'll take you to your hard drive. Find whatever you want to upload, and select it. Hit okay, or whatever, and post your reply. The attachment should show up as a link at the bottom of your post.[/size]
